Hi, this is Gwen from hair, bow supplies, etc, and today I'm going to show you how to make a cheer bow. You will need 3 inch ribbon, that is approximately 29 inches long, a zip tie and a pony. Oh, I got my zip ties at Walmart. Okay, so what you're going to do is you're going to take your ribbon here and you're going to cross it over, like this. Okay, make sure it's good and even crossed all right and then you're going to bunch it up from the center from the top down and the center you're going to bunch it up. Okay, make sure that your right and your left are about the same grab. Your zip tie slide it underneath okay and then you're going to pull. There'S like the square part you're going to pull the top into the zip tied you'll start here. It clicking enter Center, okay, pull it real, tight, oh and make sure your bow is good. Okay, so this is going to be your back and this is going to be your front okay. So what I'm going to do is take my scissors and cut off the very typical see sit pipe okay. Now I'm going to take my scissors and I'm going to cut my edges and seal them. So I'm going to take the right side and fold it in half and cut it on an angle: okay, open it back up and seal your edge. Then I'm going to take my other edge fold it over. Take your scissors and cut diagonally down. I'M going to make sure that your right and left side look. Even then it looks about even and then you can seal your edge okay. Then you want to get a piece of 7/8 scroll grain ribbon about six inches long and you want to make a little knot and pull it good and tight. That'S going to be the Center for your bow! So then, you're going to put a little bit of hot glue right in the center of your bow here and then put your excuse me, put your knot right down in the center and hold it down for just a minute and you're going to take your pony I'Ll flip it over and you're going to glue your Pony O down on the center of the hair, bow here so get some hot glue and then hold that down. Okay, then you're, going to get your 7/8 inch ribbon. That was for the knot and you're going to bring it up over. I think I'm going to cut my edge here just a few inches out here. Okay, so now I'm going to get a little bit more hot glue here in the center and bring that part up over when you need to trim the edge just a little bit more and then I'm going to pull the other part of the not one. I'M going to trim it just a little bit more. You can kind of just use your you know, guide here term it just a little bit more okay, I'm going to put just a little bit more hot glue on the back and pull that up, and over and press that down. Okay. So now that your Pony O is very secure, it on to your hair, bow pull off the excess glue, turn it back around oops and then, when you take your bow and just fluff it out a little bit, pull it up and up here. Okay, so that is how you make a cheer bow. Thank you, everybody for joining us and have a great day.

purpledragonfly4: Please don't use zip ties. More plastic usage. Just use a needle and thread and sew, so easy. Much easier and quicker than a zip tie.

Heather Di Pietro: Videos like this are what makes everyone think they can make cheer bows. There are so many incorrect instructions in this video. This type of bow is okay if you're cheering in your front yard, but it's far from a real cheer bow.
