But now ... .. - these are no longer called auntie clips and i'm so glad that they are making a comeback. Hi guys welcome back to my channel today i have a hairstyle video for you guys.. These claw clips have been super in trend these days and i'm so glad that they're making a comeback.. I always use this at home, like when i brush my teeth or when i hop into a shower without wanting to get my hair wet.. But now these are no longer called auntie clips. ... i'm gon na share with you, some hairstyles that i like to wear when i use these. So let's get started So i've got four different kinds that i purchased all on shopee and these are really really affordable. I think they are like less than three dollars for one.. They come in different shapes and sizes. Some of them have pearls like this one.. I also have one that is like kind of semi-circle. I have one that is tortoise shell and a smaller one., So i'm gon na share with you how i'm gon na style my hair., The first hairstyle that i have is something that i wear all the time, which is a half up half down, and with this I find that using smaller claw clips, look better., Make sure that you have the fringe that you want at the front and then around the ears. Bring it up, and i try not to take too much hair, because i want the hair at the back. To still look full., So if you see i'm only taking the sides and not that much from the back. Secure it, and i usually like to have a little bit more volume over here, so i will be pulling some pieces up like this. There. You have it. So easy and simple, i feel almost embarrassed to include this in.. The trick over here is to make sure that you're not gathering too much hair so that you still have nice volume at the bottom, and you want to kind of find a cute clip and mine is a butterfly one. Style number two. This one is something like a ponytail just that we're using this, and it gives a waterfall effect, and i find that this hairstyle works better with bigger, claw clips.. So i have one that is really long like this., Just like how you would tie a ponytail gather. All the hair twist it for some control and you wan na put this clip at the bottom., Secure it and leave your hair to fall like that, and it will create some sort of like a waterfall effect. So you can do it higher as well.. So this one is a higher version., So here's another one that i really like to do, which is a little bit of a french twist. So what you want to do gather all your hair twist it., You want it to be pretty tight so twist it all. The way., Last but not least, i have a half up-half down hairdo, which i'm using a tortoise shell clip because i find that it adds a lot more definition. Same thing for the half up, half down updo. You want to part your hair into half. And you want to be twisting it like how you would and when you reach this, just turn it down and get in. Alrighty.
