You need elastic hanging out on both ends and then you're going to tie a knot with both of those ends. Next you're going to hide the nod and you're going to tuck one end of the fabric into the other. To make it look cleaner, then you're just going to sew over that overlap to close it up now take the other piece of fabric and sew the hole, that's right in the middle and then you're going to wrap it around the scrunchie right around where you sewed. The overlap to hide it and then you're just going to tie it into two dots.
