Vintage-Inspired Diy Hair Accessories

Hey I Maya ornate, hair accessories are huge this season and today I'm going to show you how to do two really easy ones at home. The first thing I'm going to show you how to make is an embellished headband. I'Ve taken a simple piece of ribbon and I picked up a really beautiful, antique necklace and what I'm going to do is glue it onto the piece of ribbon using a hot glue gun. So I've taken an extra long piece of ribbon and it about its center point. I'M going to take the necklace and start adding drops of glue after applying the glue to the center of the necklace, just flip it over and press it firmly down on the ribbon and then squeeze it from the other side of the ribbon. Once the necklace is in place on the ribbon, I'm going to flip up each side and add more glue and then just press it down and hold it in place and then keep moving along until the entire necklace is glued along the ribbon. To finish it off. I'M going to tie a knot around the end of the necklace just to hide the clasp and to really give it a nice polished. Look. We saw something similar on Shirley's their own at the Golden Globes, but if we can't make it to an award, show we'd, wear it to a spring wedding or just casually for a dinner out. My second project is even simpler than the first I'm going to make an embellished hair bow, and what I really love about this is that it's not permanent, I'm going to be using clip-on, earrings and brooches, but they're just being clipped right onto the bow. So you can take them off after first I'm going to take this really pretty, pin and pin it right through and once the pin is on nice and secure I'm going to clip on some sparkly earrings.
