Today I create bone clip hair accessories! These are so easy and cute, they make the perfect accessory for October!
Things I used:
White Vinyl Fabric (leather or felt works also)
tacky glue
hair clips
rhinestones

October, it just isn't about dressing up in costume on one day out of the month, it's about taking advantage of the whole month and adding some Halloween accessories to your wardrobe. Today, I'm going to show you how I made these bone hair clips. The first thing you're gon na need to do is cut out a bone for a template. I will put a template available on tiffy quake comm. If you don't feel too confident about free handing it, but I would say give it a shot. Next you're gon na need to find a sick white fabric. I am using vinyl, you can use leather or cheaper alternative is fold so grab a small piece. You don't need anything too large, because you're only gon na be making two hair clips so place. Your template on the backside of your fabric and trace out your bones. These are really really easy to make, so you may as well just make them for your friends. Next step is to cut out the bones: try to keep the edges round, but it's alright. If you have a little jaggedness to your bones so now you have two bones cut out in your fabric. The next step is I'm going to be adding these crystals to give it a little bit of a feminine touch, so I'm using tacky glue and I'm just going to place them on a paper on the side and use a toothpick to dot on where I'm going To place my rhinestones, you can use tweezers for this if it makes it easier for you, but you just worked with what I had, which was my hands so evenly placed some rhinestones on the bone. They'Re gon na need to grab a hair clip, so I'm going to add glue all along the top portion of this clip, but so that the two top and bottom portions of the clip don't stick together. I would suggest clamping it on to a piece of paper. Then adding your glue and then placing the bone on top and giving it at least 24 hours to dry, and it's as easy as that. You now have two adorable bone accessories for your wardrobe. You don't even need to wear them in the month of October. I would say these are cute to wear all year long. PeaceSign101: This was some really cute D.I.Y Tiffy! I would so be wearing these every day as well as giving them to my friends! An idea for another Halloween D.I.Y is making a Trick or Treat bags! I know the majority of your viewers are probably too old to trick or treat but none the less is still cute! It would be good for decoration or a place to keep candy in general. Or just even a present for a friend ;) I think this would be something really cute that you could make whether or not you celebrate Halloween! You could show us the basic shape of the bag/ basket and then (if this isn't too hard) show us an example of what design you came up with! I would love to see you do this!
