3 Ways To Wear A Head Scarf - DIY Scarf For Hair - Hair Scarf Tutorial 2021

Hello Hello!

I’m excited to share this video so you can see how a mom in her 40’s rocks a head scarf I’m always up for a new trend (or one that’s circling back around) but have always treaded lightly because I don’t feel I’m the type that can “pull off” just any style that rolls around.

Nor do I want to. I hope this helps!!

There are so many fun colors and patterns for under $11

Hello, beautiful friends, it's stacey and i wanted to do a fun different video this week for you something that's kind of new to me and might be new to you, which is maybe why you're here so make sure to like this video subscribe and uh. Let'S get right into it, so i want to talk about headscarves today and there are a ton of beautiful fun, colors and patterns. So i picked out this one for myself. I thought this would be really pretty and then samantha went on my sweet little 11 year old on friday. She picked out this one we're gon na be in maui hawaii next week and i thought oh, how fun. If we have kind of like salty messy hair, we could throw a scarf in our hair and still have it look done. But really it's just such a hot trend. Right now and i came to youtube looking for an idea on how not to feel like i'm trying to be an 18 year old, as i rock this trend, so i'm going to show you three looks today and first i'm going to talk to you about a Product that really helps my hair. My hair can tend to be flat, it's not quite as thick as it used to be, and so i use this dry volume blast make sure you follow me on instagram as well and the like to know it app, because i am always sharing hair tricks and Makeup tricks and all that stuff there - and this is one of the things i talk about a lot, so you have to shake it really well with each spray, and i will just take it that product gives me the volume and a little bit of texture. To my hair, so that my scarf will feel like it's going to stay and that my hair is has enough body to hold the scarf so to speak. So the first look is probably the one i'll do the most. Maybe i'm going to take a rubber band and i'm just going to do a low pony. It would be a great idea to do some back combing at the crown of your head at this point. Just to give a little volume there i'm going to pull out some pieces in the front, because it'll just feel good to have that face. Framing look around the front and then i'm just gon na take my scarf. Do it kind of like a bandana and twist it put it evenly around and then tie it. So it's really cute, especially in a photo. If you have, you know a strapless top on um or any sort of dress, and you just want a little bit more pizzazz on top. This is such a fun look, so i just knotted it and ta-da. So for this look, i did a high pony and i rolled my scarf first you're, going to take your scarf and put it through the elastic making sure that it's even on both ends. Then you're going to divide your ponytail into two parts you're going to twist. The hair away from your face - and it might help to put some hairspray pomade or gel on your fingertips when you're doing this step and then you're going to pull the hair up kind of almost teasing it and then you're going to wrap the hair around making. Half of your bun and then tucking the end of it into the elastic in the back. You will then do the same thing on the other section of hair, twisting it as tightly as you can and then pulling it up to give a little bit of volume and texture tuck that in wherever you can it doesn't have to be perfect. Next, you will take your scarf and wrap it around the back and around the front and then around to the back again making a little bow or knot, or you could even tuck the ends of the scarf into itself and wrap it around. If you don't want to have any scarf hanging down in the back and then when you have everything tied up, you can then play around with your hair in the bun and just get it looking, even how you want it pull a little bit of hair from The top of your head to loosen it up and then have some face framing pieces around your face as well. For this last look because i don't love my hair up in a bun that much sometimes i do like when it's really hot or, of course, somewhere tropical, where you just feel like you can get away with anything and your hair is going to be frizzy. It'S great, but just for being around town. This look is going to be the last one that i show you because i feel like it's just more my style and you may be like me. Maybe you don't, like all of your hair pulled back off of your face, so what i did is i took my paddle brush this one's amazing. I'Ve had it for 10 years and it's in fantastic shape. In fact, my daughter and i just washed our hair brushes um and what i did is. I took the crown of the head. Um just pulled like a section of hair up and i went down like three times with the backcombing of this brush and i did a little elastic, clear elastic. I made sure to have some hair down in the front and around my face, i'm actually going in to get my grays covered tomorrow, um. So what i took did with my scarf is i put a knot in it because i didn't want it to be so long and it's super simple. It'S not as long as my hair, so it feels a little less intrusive and it's just a fun way to do a half a half down. Look. It adds a little bit of fanciness to your hair and it just is fun. So i hope this video helped. You today, thanks for being here and i'll, see you next time you
