Start Your Hair Or Wig Business 2020

Happy New Year y'all, so today's video is all about how to start your hair company or week company in 2020. I have eight top tips that I would like to share with you. These are just things that you must think about things that you must do. If you want to start your business this year, I'm gon na pretty much go ahead and jump right into it, and also everything that I'm going to list everything that I'm going to say is not in any order. You can definitely do any of these in any order that you choose to do them in I'm. Just telling you guys eight top tips of mine that I will give anybody. That'S trying to start a business. This know the first thing about lists is kind of a no-brainer and it's pretty much research. Okay, make sure you are doing your research. If so many people they want to start businesses, but they know nothing about the industry that they're trying to get in. I give out a lot of great advice here on my YouTube page. I have over 200 videos all about getting into the hair or week business and because I have so many videos, I have a lot of people that reach out to me all the time. Every day and they're asking questions they want to start a business. Maybe they've already started their business, but they're reaching out to me asking me questions that they should already know you want to sell wigs, but you have no idea what we did. City is. That'S the problem. You have no idea of the different type of wig caps that are out there. That'S the problem. You have no idea about the different laces, that's the problem or you want to sell hair, but you don't know the difference between raw hair resin. Here, remy hair, you don't know the differences, you don't know what those names the terminology means that's a problem. When you want to start any business, you need to make sure you become an expert okay. Let me slow it down, for you guys make sure you become a knotting, make sure you become an okay may to become an in your industry because gets wet. Your customers are going to expect you to be a hundred percent knowledgeable about the products that you sell. How can you truthfully answer your customers, questions and concerns, and you don't know the answers to them yourselves, so definitely, research, everything last thing that you need to know about your industry. The second thing which I feel like it's very important, is having an understanding of who your target audience is. Okay, who is your ideal customer? Who is it that you want to sell to? Because truthfully, if you're going to start a business, even though, like the regular person, a person who is not in business, they will say, sell to everybody just make everybody my customer. But when you study about business, where you learn about business, when you learn about marketing, you realize that it is how important it is to know exactly who you're targeting it's important to know that everybody is special customer. So don't complain when you're brother cousin, let's see grandma, I mean your best friends. Don'T order from your company right because they're truthfully they're, not a part of your target audience. So it's important to know exactly who you want to market to. This is going to be a group of people that you choose. You choose this group of people. You learn everything there is to know um. You learn everything there is to know about them and there's pretty much of them to decide all business decisions for your company. Okay, so you're not about to be out here saying. Oh, the colors of my company is going to be pink and black and white because those are my favorite colors and that's not what you do. Sis you make all the decisions in your business based off your target audience. Okay, I'm trying not to make this videos too long, so I'm not gon na go into detail about target audience but make sure you are following me on Instagram and on Facebook it's the same handle as my YouTube everything every make sure you're following me, because all Next month, which is February, I'm going to be teaching y'all all about target audience how to find your target audience how to find your ideal customer. That'S where you're gon na get all the info. Okay number! Three, it's very important! If you're going to start your own hair or wig business this year, it's going to be coming up with a business name which is kind of like good. Now it's a few things that you definitely wants to keep in mind when it comes to creating a business name. The first one is going to take time, you're not going to be able to sit down and come up with a business name within 24 hours. It may take weeks it may take months. You know it is what it is, but it's important that you research and you make sure the name that you choose is not already taken. I don't know if y'all follow social media and y'all saw the whole drama thing with the lash pill, bottles or whatever that was going on on social media. It'S like eight different companies. They all saw each other because somebody stole somebody's name. Somebody stole somebody's kind of stuff. This is trademark business cocked already this and the other is the whole lawsuit mess. Okay, don't do that to yourself do not set your stuff up. Do not use someone else's business name, make sure your chicken um the trademark system to make sure the name that you want is not already taken. Make sure that you're checking your local database when people register their businesses check their database and make sure the business name. That you want it's not already taken. Another thing you can do is to see if the names not already taken, you can search domain names. So your domain name is your www a you can check those and that's a great indicator to see if the name is already taken. You can also so you can also search social media handles if the social media handle is already taken. Then chances are the business name started taking so definitely just take your time when it comes to finding a business name like I said it's not going to be a quick and easy process is going to take time. You can brainstorm and just come up with ideas. It might just pop up to you, I don't know we're just out the blue um, but I will say, stay away from names that could seem. The word doll looks glam Brown luxury D yeah. If you plan on using any of those words in your business name, nine out of ten chances, that name is already taken: okay and no more boogy, boogy, hair extensions or whatever, because honestly, it's twisted, I'm just harvesting. Okay, when it comes to create your business name. Like if somebody already had that name just come up with a whole different idea, come up with a whole different name, even if you say oh well, I like their name, but I'm gon na spell it different chances are. If you want to tell your customers that your business name is Bujji hair right, but you spell Bujji with five J's and a highear thing in your customers, not gon na. Remember that at all and chances are like, if you're out in the bowel and you shop in somebody spot you'll be like girl. That hair is cute. Where did you get the hair from you'd be like girl? I started hair come from Bujji with five James, and I here at the end um, you know it's da-da-da-da-da when they get home, they might remember your business name, they're, not gon na. Remember the spelling and chances are when they type their business name. They'Re gon na come across the other person's page, the person who might not attend chance to spell the name right and now you out here, they're marketing and promoting for a whole other company, because you just decided to take their name and sell it differently. So definitely just take your time when it comes to creating a business name. There is no rest. There is no rest. Okay, don't rush your business, don't rush it. The next one is registering your business and doing everything legally. My advice is: if you're going to start in business, start it by running your business legally. Okay, now I do not. I am not qualified to give legal advice, so I do not give legal advice, but it's definitely important that you do your research and get your business registered, which are local state or government whatever you want to call it and make sure you register your business with The IRS, by getting your EIN number, that is extremely important. A state has different rules and I don't know about y'all, but I'm making money in my business loose down, I'm making money in my business. I have weeks to me. I got so much stuff going on. I don't have this time to research what it takes to register your business and fifty different 50-plus states. I don't have that type of time, so I'm not going to be making a video on it. But you can definitely because you want to start your business and you want your distance to because you want your business to be registered and you want to make sure everything is handled legally. You are going to definitely make sure that you just go to Google and click register, my business and whatever state you live in or you can go to the IRS website and the IRS would definitely tell you how to register your business in your seat as well. So utilize, your resources make sure you're doing business legally register your business, okay, bye. The next thing that you can do to start your business this year is just create social media patience. That'S easy like go ahead once you come up to do the name. That'S not already taken go ahead and create the social media tensions that way. No one else comes up with the same business name that you have and then go and hurry up and take the business name before you. Well, you create the social media pages, so go ahead and put your social media pages up. That'S probably like the easiest thing you can do. You know create your email address for your business. Put your social media page go ahead and put your social media pictures up. Yep, that's an easy one. That'S one number six is. If you plan on starting a hair or wig business, you got to find a vendor. So I don't know what you waiting on. You can and watch my youtube video on how to find a vendor on Alibaba cuz. That'S where I found my vendors and you need to start looking for vendors now. This is another step in the process. That'S going to take a long okay, just like coming up with your name is not going to be an overnight process. They'Ll be patient with yourself. Also, it's important to know if you plan on starting any business, there's no such thing as far the business with zero dollars. So if your favorite youtuber told you that you can start a business with zero dollars, they were nice, they were lying. Okay, no such saying is buy. The business was your dollars, so you aren't going to need you're gon na need some money tips. Okay, how much money it just determines on how much you've been the vendors? Don'T charge you, how many vendors you have to go through! It'S going to require some sort of investment if this is a business that you really want to do, and this is something that you're passionate about you're gon na work, hard you're gon na save up money so that you can test out those vendors okay, because fighting Here is extremely important, extremely important, like finding good year for your business, I mean if the hair is trash, you not made of money. So take your time don't rush the process, and this goes for people who purchase vendors list to you know looks $ 20 vendor list $ 50 vendor list $ 100 minute list. Image sounds so tempting, but even then, even if you purchase a penis list, you still have to buy that hair, since you cannot just take somebody's word for it. This is your business. This is your reputation and it's one to be on the line all on the line. This is like you cannot. There are no shortcuts in business, especially when it comes to your key product. The main thing that's going to make you money: okay, there are no shortcuts. So take your time 10 see. Even if you purchase a business list still purchase heirloom, you still make sure you're wearing that hair, because when your customers start asking you questions about the hair, how can you truthfully give them an answer if you've never worn it and if you're a man, because I Know men are also in the hair industry and you don't wear here then: okay cool, let you'll want to let your wife, your sister, your mom, your daughter. Let them test the hair for you. Let your best friend, whoever it is. Let them touch the hair for you, but make sure that person is someone that you trust, but somebody gon na have to test the hair out. Okay, somebody's gon na have to spend some money to stay here too. So please know that you're going to simony you're going to come across bad news. That'S all a part of the process, but it's gon na show who's truly passionate about this industry and who's. Not so, if you're scared to spend a little money money, because you gon na - have to always spend money on something numbers peasant is take a lot of pictures. People are always asking me like, okay, every I set up my social media page and what am i total put post on my social media, page okay, when you purchase that hair from your bender, take pictures of the hair and solid on? Have your best friend weird. Take pictures of the hair I'll take pictures of your wigs like tight pictures. People can't purchase something that they can't be so take a lot of pictures. I mean snap it up like once you get that hair in your hands. Even if you do pre-order, even if you do dropship, you need to have the hair in your hands at some point and time and take a lot of pictures, so you can put them on your social media account. Okay, it's important pictures, sell pictures, make you money! Videos make you money. Okay, I can guarantee you somebody, that's watching this video right now. That was like. Oh six, when you get your wig from that's cool right. If I was not wearing this week, no one would be asking and I will never made the money. So make sure they should take a lot of pictures and videos. Okay, not least, this is one of the most important things if you are starting a business. This is one of the most important things that you need to do. You need to invest in yourself, invest in your business but, most importantly, invest into learning. Okay, you want to start this business, definitely always utilize your free resources, so we have Google and we have YouTube. Those are free resources when I say read every article and look at every video make sure you do that, because that's free but you're, going to get to a point where you realize free can't take you that far like. If everybody could get the information from free and become a millionaire, everybody would be a millionaire. Everybody will be a millionaire like if everybody could get the information for free and become a millionaire, everybody would be a millionaire. Everybody would be a millionaire if you could just build a million-dollar company for the free with free information. So it's gon na be a plenty of business where you're gon na realize I have to start paying for the stuff that I really want to know and when you pay for that stuff. That is when you start when you pay for something and you learn it, and you learn that knowledge that you could not find out for free and you take that information and you apply it to your business money literally start slowing in okay. You have to you can't be scared to spend money, but you also have to understand you don't know what you don't know so, there's something that you struggle with. You need to learn it to turn that weakness into a strength. If you're saying you suck at Facebook and Instagram ads - and you don't watch all these YouTube videos and you're still lost, then that tells me that it's time to invest in a class from someone that you can learn from right and that's there like a one-on-one or Something like that, so that you can really understand it, because what you learning you learn how to do it the right way and you apply it think about how much money that's gon na bring like break into your business like it's so important. So it's always important to learn, learn, learn, learn, learn and to invest into your learning. I make it a mission to Italy to take 3 or 4 classes every month. Every month I make it my mission and my business has grown like I'm just picking up different skills every day and my business is just growing and growing faster, so so yeah. So those are my top eight tips.
