Hi guys today, I'm going to show you a beauty basic how to use hair rollers for some people, their new of it, and you don't really know how to position it in your hair, how to set it. So this is just going to be a quick, easy tutorial. The hair rollers that I'm using are the Conair jumbo rollers and you can find these at your drugstore and I think the cost of it is anywhere from twenty to thirty bucks. So I hope you guys enjoy. I already applied a heat protectant to all over my hair, I'm just going to wrap the hair around and notice how I started kind of in the middle. I don't want any hair sticking out and then taking the hair, pin, locking it in place. So I'm going to do the exact same thing with the hair right behind it, I'm taking the regular jumbo-sized roller and then I'm going to work with a hair on the side. Curl away from the face. Then basically you're just taking a section by section and then just simply curling it. So it's pretty simple and it only takes a few minutes to get all the rollers in your hair valo. That'S it I'm going to let it sit and all the rollers are still pretty warm so I'll. Let it sit in for about 15 to 20 minutes the thicker your hair is and the more silky your hair is. I leave it a little longer, whatever you do before you remove it just make sure that the rollers are all the way cool. So during this time you can either do your makeup work on some chores around the house a take out your laundry out of the dryer, which I actually got to do right now so I'll be right back in about 20 minutes and I'm just gon na release. The curls, because this Bell see here and what I like to do, is I just run my fingers through and then I apply it. A nice flexible hairspray is the best hair spray to have flexible hair. You can run your fingers through and it doesn't get flaky um. You don't lose your curl. This is a L'Oreal satin element. So that's it! It'S pretty simple. I mean really the only time that you're putting into it is just putting the hair rollers in your hair, but it doesn't really require much styling. You don't really need a brush or anything. So hopefully, this is helpful. Let me know how this works. For you. Don'T forget to check out my facebook i'll, have the link below and let me know what kind of video you want to see next anyway, thanks so much for watching guys I'll talk to you later bye having two shots of espresso, you show some real life.

Lisa White-Pagano: I am 57 years old and was the queen of hot roller sets in the 80’s and I never knew that that the bent side of the clip went on the bottom! no wonder they always fell out eventually!

smiles5433: Thanks for this tutorial Judy! I bought these rollers because of this tutorial, and you make it seem so easy to put the rollers in! I really hate the pins. It's so hard for the rollers to stay in place :(

Sombol Kazmi: You make this look so easy, I just tried it and my hair is falling all over the place lol

Kassidy Dunnigan: Awesome, I love how straight forward your tutorial was. I haven't used my rollers since prom 2 years ago, but my mom did it for me. Now that I'm in college, I want to try it myself! Thanks!

J Rakoczy: This is exactly how I used to roll my feathered hairstyle in the late 1970's for that "Farrah" look. Thanks for the reminder!

mialatina: Judy thanks for this! I have the same roller set for a while now and the rollers would always fall out of my hair...then I noticed how you stick in the pins with the bent edge towards the scalp!!!! I have had perfect hair since this tutorial!!! Love you and Benji!!! God bless!

Claire: This tutorial was such good timing! I just got hot rollers and had no idea how to use them. Thanks so much, Judy! :)

Cara Douthit: Thanks again for this simple post even if it is just common sense lol this weekend was our 5yr anniversary & we renewed our vows. I got hair extensions and my stylist had it curled so cute. I thought I'd never be able to recreate what she did. Love that I can now. Thanks again!

keki cupkeki: great idea with the basic tutorials :) hope you'll do more!would love to see your hair care routine also coz your hair looks so healthy and shiny :)

Micaiah Tesfa: whos watching in 2020 during corona lol

synorra: Thank You Judy for all the wonderful and helpful videos you have shared with us over the past 6 years!!

Cara Douthit: Thank u so much for this simple video!!! Its prolly common sense but I needed it lol This weekend I got hair extensions for our 5 yr vow renewal and she had it curled so cute but I knew there was no way I could do it. Now I can & today my hair is beautiful. Thanks again!

Jessie Luna: The exact same thing would happen to me, I just tried it, but watch how she puts the pins in place. The bent part goes on the bottom. My hair is holding perfectly now. :) I hope this helps you out or anyone else. :)

knightvision1228: This looks so much easier than a curling iron... gotta try it soon, thank you!

LaRissa Arocho: Just bought these rollers and remembered you have a tutorial on how to use them! Thanks Judy you're amazing!!

Lobster: This video is wonderful! Please do more "basics" videos :D

pixiemama5000: Great video! I really need to try rollers more often. Does your curl last longer using rollers instead of a curling iron? Thanks! Jen :)

ReadToMe: Thanks Judy! Long time subscriber here, when I had long hair and wanted a romantic, long barrel curl look, I always messed up putting rollers in, (I don't know how!) It always looked a bit too Farrah Faucett for every day wear. This is a great tutorial, nice and simple. Only problem is... I'm so envious of your hair! :)

Franceslove Love: i absolutely love hot rollers, their fun, quick, and easy! and they dont have to be put in neatly!

DaniMoonlight: You are my FAVE guru for hair because you make everything so simple! I have used your tips many times and I love them! You are awesome, thank you!!!

Nox Lumen: you may not have enough gel in your hair before you roll. you may be using the wrong setting product for your hair type(ex- straightening cream in curls or too weak of a gel in straight) so research the active ingredients your hair needs in a product. if your hair is really long or really thick, you may need 2x the rollers for a good set. if you put too much hair on a roller, the heat won't penetrate right. if hair is too wet, that can also make trouble. and start with the right conditioner.

Alejandra Gonzalez: I love how your hair looks and the waves with volume and I love the Jumbo Rollers very much!

jadoreJoanne: your hair is so healthy!! can you do an updated hair routine please!! :)

Elle Champion: Judy, you make it look so easy and effortless

ChelzLovesPeanut: Beautiful curls! Thanks, Judy!

1vailphotography: I have these. I wash, dry, then add Nexxus pro mend bodifying mousse to the roots, then i spray with Nexxus heat protexx styling spray misted over my hair. (I don't glob the stuff, a little goes a long way) Heat the rollers for a good 10 minutes, let sit for 20 in my hair or until they are cool, take out. Finger comb and use Nexxus Maxximum Aerosol Finishing Mist Hairspray. Then use my dryer with the cool setting on low to set everything.  My hair is still soft to the touch, has serious volume, and the curls stay in.

Steffi: i just bought these hot rollers last week and iv'e been looking for a tutorial on how to use them, i'm so so so so soooo happy you made one with the exact rollers i purchased!!!

Jessica Mtz: Love ur hair tips , I've tried them personally and u help me look better thanks so much !

Marisa Douglas: I purchased these hot rollers from Conair at Target and I LOVE them. I have long, naturally wavy hair too and these rollers were the perfect size to create bouncy, wavy hair! I'm in love, and the price is very reasonable.

V Lai: LOVE! Thanks so much.. so much faster than a curling iron!

candice pettrey: Thank you for posting this video, I just bought some rollers and this was super helpful!! Thank you so much Have a blessed day

ashlynfallsdown: I love that your rolls aren't super perfect, it makes a roller set seem less daunting and more attainable for someone who doesn't use rollers a lot.

Karla Maria: Thank you so much for this video. U showed me it's not so complicated to use hot rollers for ur hair. I really liked ur curls.Thank u again! :)

BellaNinja3: You make it look so easy!!

Simplysweet0604: I am so glad you made this because I never knew i was doing this completely wrong haha!!!! Thank you!

shpart: I love how my hair looks right after taking out of the roller, however the curls last 1 hour tops. I got better luck with curl secret, the curls last all day without any product, although it does not give as much as this one.

Natasha Hutcheson: love this. I have the exact same curlers!!

Bitching4Blades: Weird! I got the exact machine before watching this! Your hair is so glossy and luxurious!

Inside Out Training and Equipping School: I bought these rollers and I absolutely LOVE them. I bought them for $18 and a week later the price shot up to $30. Lucky me!

Ooo Mee: wow! u always give the simplest best tips to look beautiful!

Caroline Razimbaud: Wow, your hair looks great! And that seems to be a very easy way to curl your hair. Do you know if they sell those rollers in Europe? (particularly in France) I couldn't find some in the drugstore where I live. :(

The Weary Chef: This was SO helpful! Thank you!!

Ava Heron: Love how bouncy the curls are fantastic

flowerheadish: Just when i was having trouble with my rollers i see this video! Thanks Judy!

Melissity: Omg first time using this and it took me at least 30 min just to get the rollers in my hair! Pin kept popping out, roller too loose, hair falling out.... I finally got them all in but the side rollers are really loose so we’ll see how it looks. I have suuuuper thick hair so I’m hoping the curls will hold. I’d love to do my make up but I’m scared it I move too much they’ll fall out LOL

Yoli burrr: i love to use rollers! they always give me great curls :)

GirlBehindTheMask13: I am jealous of how easy your hair curls with so much volume, I have impossible hair to curl but it curls with rollers, I have only tried the smaller conair hot clip set but I am dying to get that look. Trying to get good hair for a pageant coming up... any tips for hard to curl hair to help

Johanna Valencia: omg i can't wait to try this!!! so excited! thanks Judy!! You're the best!!

cb8504: I’m doing this just like she is, putting the curved side of the pin closest to my scalp. My rollers won’t stay rolled! They come unrolled about halfway so then only half of the strand of hair is getting the heat. And hair on the sides of the roller slide off so they’re not getting heat either. What am I not getting?

Ivette boo: You make it look so easy! Did you put something else in your hair besides the heat protection thing?

TheQofbrokenhrtz: I'm going to totally get these! Thank you! :)

Melly Emily: Hello, love this tutorial. Can you please let us know where you bought the metal pins? The clips that come with the roller set tend to dent the hair.. I hate it .. Just want to know how much were the pins and in what sizes did you get them ? Large and medium or medium and small ? Thanks in advance!

H’s EPIC gaming channel!!: Your hair is soo gorgeous! My hair is only just touching my shoulders :( I'm growing it out nice and long so that one day i will be bale to actually do stuff like this to my hair :) :) thank you for the tutorial

naomi: your hair looks flawless!!!:)

Goose Creek Homestead: Very helpful! Thank you Judy!

Stephanie Rodriguez: I love these basic videos! :}

StoneeLeigh: @aidoniafan The container that the rollers come in has a cord that you plug into the wall and wait for them to heat up before putting them in your hair. Some rollers get really hot so be careful not to burn your hands :)

Samantha: Thanks heaps! I've had my curlers for a few years and never knew how to use them, only just thought to look up a tutorial on YouTube now hehehehe

maryem802: this is exactly what I was looking for! i have the same rollers and couldn't figure out the pins. thxx :) xoxo

Kimmy Nguyen: Anyone buying this on Amazon, the exclusive comes with a clip. The original one has the pin but it's in blue. You can order the one like hers in purple with the wire pin from Target and either deliver it or ship to store.

fresca133: @llgirl17 In my opinion the rollers are more effective because they allow your hair to cool in a rolled up position. Your hair will normal stay in the position in which it cooled in. Borrow a friend's hot rollers and try it. :)

Emma Grace: I just ordered mine on Walmart.com they are on sale for $19.77..awesome, can't wait to try them out! Thanks so much for the tutorial/review!

Casey Lopez: The same thing was happening to me, the curlers would just fall and hang. I really paid attention to how she put in the clips, and that is what makes all the difference! I actually have mine in now.... When you put the clip in, and it hangs, just take it out, and turn it another way until it stays in place. Took me a couple times to get it down!

Jennifer Kovacs: This helped alot! I got these for christmas and wasn't sure how to use them, thanks!

SharaH N: This was very helpful!! Thanks Judi

pugbugluver: can you do a basics video on how to blow dry your hair with a round brush?! i loved this video :)

Shal: Hey Judy, how long do these curls last you? I know the recent video you did with the new hot rollers lasted you 6 hours, what about these? I think I like these ones more because they're bigger curls. Thanks :)

Sandra Lee: It's GOOD and bad that you're videos are so short. GOOD - you get straight to the point, no useless blabbering BAD - not enough judy videos in my sub box!!

archiecomicxfan215: this is the perfect video for hot rollers, thanks judy! :) I want to buy them now, hair curlers don't seem to work for me :/

mmL2145: great video and very pretty! it makes me regret cutting my hair short lol

Prianka Krishna: Hi, can i ask if you got these pin clips with the set or did you buy it separately? The one via your amazon link has different hair clips which i hate! Tks

Parfona Editha: Just perfect! Didn’t even imagine how nice these electric hair rollers would be. I ordered them on Qwy.io and the shipment was very fast!

Rebel Laura: I love your hair! Looks beautiful and healthy. Mine is long but not like yours :) but will get there :)

Gypsynyc10: My hair is about the same length as yours and I couldn't decide whether to get tongs or rollers until I saw your video . That's just the look I have always wanted but never could quite get it right ...Thanks a lot and love your make up !

Amanda Campos: I still go back and watch this tutorial. Can't wait for the updated video.

spawn of Medusa: I was thinking about getting rollers, I hate holding a curl iron up for so long just to get the curl I want so thank you so much!

nancyrosev: Hey Judy! I love this video I cant wait to try out this product. But I was wondering if you noticed anything from 0:28 seconds to 0:30 seconds. I noticed that there was a orb that flew by right on top of the hot rollers. Ive always watched this video since you put it out and its weird how only now I seen it. hehe

LLROCKS23: this is exactly the kind of vid i was looking forward to watch, thanks a million judyy=) xx

OMGshinyobject: Anyone else watching this because they got hot rollers for Xmas?

mel4me0404: I was always told that you roll the top back and everything else dowb toward the floor. I'll have to pull the rollers out of the closet, dust them off and try it this way. Thanks for another great video!

funnybonejoan: YAAAAAAAAAY!! hair tutorials are finally back!!!!!! :D

MsCutieBel: on sale @ amazon for $19!! just placed my order, can't wait, thanks Judy!!

Brittany Wray: So helpful thank you!

Alexa Michelle: Your hair is gorgeous and so are you! :] How do you maintain your hair and keep it frizz free?

ReadToMe: @yumi16100 Yes, as long as they're made of real hair. I found it was easier with mine (clip ins) to curl/style them and then clip them in afterwards.

sara: More basic videos plz :)

Tiffany Ramos: Omg thanks for this video. I was going crazy on how to use the pins. Lol

nadine blubber: nice hair tutorial. I was just wondering, if the hot rollers do heat up on theyr one? Do you need to do anything to heat them up? Sorry for the stupid question, but I never had any hot roller experience before. Do they come with the pins or do you have to buy them seperatly?

MsLeftyLibra: Thank you! Before, I hadn't been able to find a decent video that showed how to actually roll it up.

babycheese: really gorgeous the result! do you have recommendation brands for hot rollers? i really want hot rollers but I confused which one.. thanks before :)

BonJourLaurennn: @rieeex33 the amount of hair you use all depends on the size of the roller. if your hair sticks out, that means you used too big of pieces.

Starlit33: Also Try "it" Hairspray-stonger hold depending on how much you spray & it doesn't get sticky or hard (& it smells amaze!) <3

unazukins: This is so convenient!! and the curls look gorgeous! ... but my hair can't hold curls for more than 30mins... :(

DivineLightCraftyCreations: I have the exact same rollers, lol ;) thank you for sharing

307 Nightcrawler: Wow your hair is so pretty! I have blonde hair and it never looks so shiny!

Nicole DeNapoli: TIP TO USE PINS!!!!: Try to put them in backwards....like pinning them from the back so that the 2 legs are facing forward, it should help!

AustralianForGirl: @MustachesDotCom I used a smaller roller. I was trying to roll my bangs with the large ones (I have the exact same set as her), and just needed to use a smaller one and they work perfect :)

SillE Gal: I have a question, which one do you personally like best and which works best for think hair?

EDWARDYUMMZ: i'm glad to see that some of your hair pops out of the roller too! i thought i was grabbing too much hair or doing something wrong!
