Do you want your wig to look so natural that people will argue with you about whether or not this hair is growing out of your head in this video? I'M going to be showing you how i install my wigs on a daily basis for a totally natural look every day. Welcome to the wiggy woman. I am very excited to be bringing you this tutorial today. This tutorial was inspired by a post that i made on a support for hair loss, facebook group, and essentially i was telling a story about how i was returning a wig at the post office and the lady at the counter could not believe that i wore wigs And when that happened, i thought it was so funny because it happens to me all the time. Many times i have as i'm explaining that i have a youtube channel about wigs and wig reviews. People are shocked that the hair that i'm wearing is not growing out of my head and, more than once, i have actually had to lift up the lace to reveal my hair, underneath to prove that my hair was in fact a wig. Today, i'm going to be taking you through step by step, the routine that i go through every day when i'm getting ready in the morning to make my wigs look completely natural. So if you want your wig to look as natural as possible, it's really important to think about that when you're going into your wig purchase, if you're, normally a natural brunette - and you want to have a platinum blonde, wig you're going to have a much easier time. Blending and installing that wig, if you have some aspects of the wig that draw on your own natural features, so once you've found a great wig, i'm going to show you how to install it for a completely natural look before we get too far into it. Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel and click the bell so that you never miss a wig review or tutorial like this one. That'S posted weekly and, of course, please drop me a line down below to say, hi and to let me know if you're someone who is already a fan of human hair, wigs or if this is something that you're looking into for the future and let's get to It so since today we're talking about a human hair, wig being so convincing that people won't believe it's a wig we're going to start with the wig itself, so this is sienna by jon renau in color 12fs8, and this is my daily wear wig. This is the wig that i put on pretty much every day. I have other videos about how i style sienna um, but in this video i'm going to be using a wig that hasn't been styled in about a week, so she's been put through her paces. But you know every day i don't style my human hair wigs. I actually feel that the flyaways and some of the uh, the style being not so perfect, adds to the realism. So that's why we're starting with this wig today, when you get a really good human hair wig like this one uh, you don't need to pluck this part. This part is already, you know some people even think it's too sparse, but that's part of the magic of these kinds of wigs so um. You know i am getting this, this very, very natural result, because i've invested in a human hair wig. That is got a lot of really good features like a pre-plucked part line that looks very, very natural and allows me to style this very quickly on a day-to-day basis. I have already you may have noticed, put in my part line, so this is not what it would look like straight out of the box. But if you check out this video right here, you will see how i add foundation underneath the lace and monofilament and to create like a faux bleach knots effect. And i have also added a little bit of foundation inside the part line to again really accentuate that. This is scalp and is not you know, fabric like in a wig. It really sets off that skin scalp effect um and helps. You know really add to the realism of this wig. So if you want to see how i do that step by step, you can check out this video right here, and i only do that step every time i wash my wig, because this foundation concealer is going to stay um. You know really, until i add some shampoo to it, so this video today, i'm just focusing on like the daily style, how i install it, how i wear it and how i make it look so natural that many times people do not believe that this is a Wig, i'm gon na start by putting my hair in a low ponytail to get it out of the way, especially because this is a blonde wig and my natural hair color is brown. With my hair secured at the nape of the neck, i'm going to grab my wig grip band and i did put a link in the description to a really good one. I'M going to kind of flip my hair up and secure the wig grip band underneath so that it holds my hair up in place. So i don't have a big bump at the back of my head. I always start with the wig grip around my forehead and push it back into place, so it keeps my hair out of the way of the hairline i'm going to put the wig on in a similar way, i'm going to secure it at the nape and then It'S around my forehead first and then i adjust the ear tab, so it's centered and pull it back towards the hairline being very careful not to hurt the lace, i'm smoothing out the hair so that i get a nice sleek. Look. I don't know if this is cheating or what but having a good quality human hair wig which, by the way, i got this on clearance on a super duper discount and it was much more affordable than you would think. It probably cost me about the cost of three synthetic wigs and i have one human hair wig that just putting in a part line and putting it on, looks very realistic. All on its own, so um, you know i can curl this wig. I can straighten this wig. In fact, i have a video right here on how to do both of those things. So you know for the cost of a a few synthetic wigs. You can have one human hair wig. That'S really really great, and you know it's just gon na be more realistic because i'm not gon na have to worry about. You know whether or not the fibers are realistic in texture or in shine, because it's human hair, it's going to look like hair. The right position is critical here, so i'm going to adjust the ear tabs and i'm going to make sure that that lace is sitting just on top of my natural hairline. Once i'm totally confident that i have it in the right spot, i'm going to lock it down, i'm going to be using got to be glued hairspray, which is a very strong bond hairspray and is going to keep that lace totally flat and in the spot that I have picked i'm going to spray a small amount along the hairline and i'm going to use the ear tabs to really smush the wig down into that got to be glued, being very careful not to get any fibers in that spray. I'M also going to secure the ear tabs down with that got to be glued spray, so i'm going to give it a little spray and i'm going to push the ear tab down into the got to be glued. So i get a firm hold. I'M going to repeat that process on the other side, so that this is also secure. You do not need much here, just a little tiny spray and by pushing it into that, got to be glued. It'S going to ensure that i have a firm hold for the entire day. Many times you can get away with either a wig grip band or got to be glued. But if you want the most secure it's going to be best with both, even though this wig fits perfectly, i do have a low hairline, so some of my hair sticks out and rather than try and hide it. I embrace it and that's why i love these rooted shades, so i'm going to pull out some of my hair from that ponytail from underneath these ear tabs once i'm sure that got to be glued is dry. I'M going to take some foundation and i'm going to apply it first to my hand, because i don't want any big splotches and i'm going to then blend it gently along that lace to kind of seamlessly transition between my forehead and the hairline. Next, i want to focus on that part and i'm going to take the foundation up into where that part line is because i really want to accentuate almost like a little bit of a receding hairline, because i don't want that part line to be too perfect. And lastly, i'm going to blend it all in so that i have a very smooth and seamless transition. Now i'm going to grab a brush and i'm going to comb the fibers down, because i want to try to break up and rescue any hairs that are stuck in that got to be glued. It'S really important that i comb down and not up, because i don't want to lift up the lace, but i am kind of giving the brush a little bit of a wiggle, because i want to try and catch as many hairs as i can and separate them From the cap, next, i'm going to pull those hairs that are showing underneath the ear tabs and i'm going to tuck those back so that i get a little bit more of a realistic hairline down below where the wig ends and i'm going to smooth everything out To cover - and here is the final result you want to wear your wig like you would wear your hair and hair accessories are a great way to do that. People usually assume that you can't wear hair accessories with a wig or that you wouldn't so when they see hair accessories, it just sort of brings their mind back to this must be your own natural hair, especially if you're wearing your look with confidence. People are going to buy into that confidence and they're going to believe that this is your hair, even if you bought it. I hope you enjoyed this video today and if so, please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to my channel and click. The bell, so you never miss a wig review or tutorial like this one. The Wiggy Woman: Check out more tips for making wigs look completely natural here: https://youtu.be/Z_leeXfBNc4

Kelly Marie: I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve slowly been losing my hair since I’m 25. I just turned 40 and I’m down to next to no hair. I started buying lots of synthetic wigs a few years ago. I spent prolly thousands of dollars now over the course of a few years on these wigs that did not last, hold up, tangle, shed, couldn’t style them etc. I don’t know how to prepare these wigs so I usually put a hair band on or pulled my bangs out and pinned them over the wigs hairline. I just bought over the last month now 2 really really nice human hair wigs. There’s just no comparison with the human hair and the synthetic wigs. They each cost about $200 and my synthetic ones were about 50ish and did not last long. I need to learn how to style these wigs and prepare them. I think I may of struck gold when I found your channel! Thanks!!

Jill Creagh: You make it look easy! Thank you x

Maggie Thomas: You literally do the best reviews with the best tips ever ❤ There is no one else I would rather follow for advice on this. Can you recommend a non wefting human piece in the color of the Jon Renau that your wearing, but in a 16 inch length. Jon Renau doesn't have that length and only provides a 18 inch. I'm trying to find something at a decent price in Canadian funds. Thank you for being you and for your videos

mary lynn: Very informative I love your part trick! Sienna is a great REMY hair wig. I think I only had a napping at the neck a few years ago which I’m sure there’s a remedy.

Dmoe: I recently switched to human, still wear synthetics at times, I secure my synthetics the same way. I've been wearing wigs for 5+ years now, time flies. But the cap I got for a human wig has polyethylene/silicone cap with diamond and swiss lace, so no need for any grip or adhesive. Also if you want you can bond it to your scalp for 3 to 4 at a time. So looking into a non surgical hair replacement wig is also a great option, but I also do not have bio hair, so the polyurethane suctions to my head lol.

mattiesful: That hair looks amazing. I have quite a few hh wigs but once I wash them, they’re never as sleek as real hair. Some of my JR human are not remi and I get that the follicles don’t align, but is there anything I can do to make it sleek! I just found ur channel SO HAPPY I did! TIA. I’m going to binge watch u!

Sarah Meister: I love the color of this wig and it looks great on you! Where did you get this wig and did you dye it this color or did it come this shade?

Chris Chamberlain: I just got the Margot wig by Jon Renau, and although the hair is beautiful, you can’t even see the part line. This is upsetting to me. I have heard you can pluck the hairs so the part line will show, but it appears this will take hours to do, and I worry I’m going to pull too much hair out. After as much money as I’ve spent, I don’t understand why the wig can’t be delivered to me with the part line showing where it looks like a scalp. My God, it’s a full hand tied wig cap & I would expect it to have that. What is your suggestion? When you can’t see what looks like scalp then it looks fake.& like a wig. I’d even be willing to pay more for a wig to have someone make the look of scalp where I wouldn’t have to spend the time doing it & worry about ruining the wig.

brooks269: You look absolutely beautiful! Great video!

Ashley Petruccio: Thx this was very helpful!

R B: Thanks for the video very interesting. As for lace front wigs how to get the lace invisible

Emmi B: Have you noticed the prices of wigs have skyrocketed? It’s crazy.

Janean: How does the color stay in the human hair? Do you have to refresh the color?

Truth Be told: Looks great on you

Lisa Maier: I agree.
