Oh hey my beauties, it's miss unique beauty and i'm building and i'm back with another video. If you are new to my channel tap that subscribe button so that you won't miss out on any of my new uploads and if you have already subscribed, what's good. What'S poppin welcome back to my channel the items that you're going to need today is a crochet wig cap with combs the headband of your choice, a pair of scissors, your crochet needle, of course a needle and thread and, of course, the hair of your choice. The hair that i'll be using in today's video is from a company called nyo hair on amazon, and they were kind enough to send me their 12 inch butterfly locks to review for you guys today on my channel, if you guys do decide to order this hair, You will receive six bundles of hair within your package, along with a free crochet needle that you can use to install these locks onto your head now within each package of hair, you will receive 12 strands of locks now, let's get into creating this wig. The first thing that i'm going to do is apply my crochet wig cap to my mannequin head and then i'm going to apply my headband to the mannequin head as well. Now, when you apply your headband, you want to make sure that you flip your headband inside out, so that the seam of the headband will remain on the inside of your wig. Now, i'm just going to begin sewing down the edges of the headband to the edges of the wig cap, and i'm going to do this all the way around the entirety of this cap. Don'T forget to sew on your wig cap to your headband one side at a time, because you want to make sure that you'll be sewing your headband evenly onto this cap on both sides. All of the supplies that i use in my videos - i always link them in the description box below my videos, because i want you guys to be able to use the same exact items that i am using, so that you guys can get the same results that I get when i create my wigs, if you guys do have any additional questions, just comment them in the comment section down below and i will answer them as soon as possible. Now this is what the headband is. Looking like once, i flip the headband over the edges of this wig cap and, as you guys can see, this headband looks flawless. Now i'm going to begin with applying these butterfly locks to the wig cap, as i state in all of my videos, i like to space my locs or any type of crochet that i am doing far apart or further apart than usual, just to make sure that I have enough hair to complete the entire wig now, if, in the end, when i've completed making this wig - and i do have a few strands left over - i will go back in and install those strands in the back section just to fill it out. Another thing that is my absolute favorite thing to do whenever i'm creating wigs is to stagger my braids stacker, my locks, and what i mean by staggering is when you're placing the locks you want to place them in between the locks that you created in the previous Row now, if you guys look at the screen, i'm showing you guys exactly how i do that i am placing the locks in the current row in between the locks that i created in the previous row, and i like to do this going all up through my Cap along the sides, the back and the top section of this cap, because that is what will give you the most coverage when you are creating your wigs. This is what this back section is looking like after i completely went ahead and installed one entire bundle into this back section. Now i'm going to go ahead and show you guys exactly how i crochet the side section for the side section of the wig i like to apply the locks along the edges of the wig cap, just to make sure that i'll have enough coverage along the sides. If i do decide to lift these locks up and do some type of updo hairstyle, my goal for the side, sections is to at least use one package of the crochet locs in each section and, like i said before, if i do have hair left over after I'Ve completed all the sections on this cap, then i'll go back in and fill in the extra locks where it is needed. If you guys are interested in seeing exactly how i was able to style this wig on my head stay tuned for the end of this video, and you guys will see just that. This is what the wig is looking like. So far after i went ahead and applied two bundles of these butterfly locks to this wig. Only in the back section and on one of the side, sections of this wig cap. Now i'm going to go ahead and finish installing the rest of the hair. On the rest of this wig cap and i'll be back to show you guys the finished results. This is what the wig is looking like after i've completed installing just about five bundles of hair into this wig cap. Now, as you guys can see, there is still a lot of spacing in the back section of this wig, so i am going to use the remainder of the hair that i do have to fill in the back section of this wig and make it look a Lot, fuller in the back, when you guys are filling in your extra hair, you can pretty much place it wherever you want. You do not have to worry about the whole staggering method thing because you already went ahead and staggered your hair to cover and conceal the gaps as the best as you can in the beginning. So right now it's just all about filling in whatever gaps you see with the extra hair that you have, and this will just cause the hair to look fuller in the back section. Now i'm going to go ahead and finish filling in the rest of this hair and i'll be back to show you guys exactly what this wig will look like on my head. This is now the completed wig. Look at the texture of this hair. I just love the texture of these butterfly locks now right here, i'm just showing you guys that this cap does have three combs in it and i'll be using the combs in this cap to secure this wig onto my head. I do want to mention that i do not have cornrows in my hair right now. All i did was i created two plaits in the back section of my head and then i just pinned them down flat so that they wouldn't be in the way. I do suggest that you do some sort of anchor braid in the front section of your head when applying this wig only because my wig started to slide backwards because the combs really had nothing to grip onto. So just keep that in mind. If you guys do decide to go the wig route with this hair, i decided to style this wig in a half up, half down hairstyle, just to help conceal some of the spacing issues that i did have in the front section of this wig. If you do decide to purchase this hair, i think that you should purchase two packs of this hair only because i could have used a little bit more hair for some more coverage in this wig. Now this wig is very full. It gives the look that i really wanted it to give, but i did realize that i could have used a few more strands just to fill in some more of the areas of this wig. To help conceal some of the spacing issues that i had in the front section, i did decide to go ahead and apply this navy blue headband to the front section of this wig, and this had been literally set. This look off straight. This look came out so perfect. Once i applied this headband as you guys can see, you cannot see any of the spacing issues that i had in the front section of this wig. Now i'm going to go ahead and apply these cute little hair accessories that i purchased from a company called molly pot accessories. I will leave the link to their website in the description box below, but this accessory company sells hair accessories that i have never seen before. They are all very unique and very cute and perfect to jazz up any kind of braided styles, lock, styles or twist styles, that you guys decide to execute. Let me know in the comment section down below if you decided to go ahead and check them out and if you decided to make a purchase, because i really want to know what you guys think about their accessories, because if they do not disappoint, this is what The wig is looking like after i've completely installed it on my head and, as you guys can see, this wig came out gorgeous. I just wish that i had a few extra strands to fill in this wig a little more towards the top and middle section of this wig. In this video, i was able to show you guys how to create your own butterfly locks, headband wig, using hair from nyo hair on amazon. I will leave the link to this hair in the description box below so that you guys can go ahead and check them out check out the beautiful movement and the texture shot of this hair. I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video comment down below any questions that you may have like this video and don't forget to subscribe bye. My beauties big
