Hi, my name is Darren with head covers comm and say: I'm going to show you how to style your synthetic wig. So what's first important to remember, is whenever you are styling your synthetic wig. You need to purchase wig hair products that are specifically designed for synthetic hair and the reason why is because, if you were to purchase, we care products that are made to style human hair or your own natural hair is because over time, you're going to get a Dull buildup on the synthetic fiber and it's going to shorten the lifespan of your wig, so what's really great about synthetic wigs is that they require little to no maintenance and they have what's called style memory. So, even after you've washed the wig, it's going to go back to its original style, so I'm just going to show you some tips on what you can do to style it. So the first thing you're going to do is take your wig, and these are straight from the box, so they're little flats. The first thing you're going to do is take your wig and shake it. Give it some firm shakes. So I just check out my wig and place it on the mannequin head and, as you can see, it already looks a lot better. So before I begin styling it I'm going to use my wig chin, styling strap and this can be purchased on our website. It'S very inexpensive and it's designed to keep the wig in place whenever you're styling it to avoid it from slipping around. So I'm just going to take the clip here. I'M gon na place it on the ear top here and just make sure you don't grab the actual hair whenever you're doing this come around to the other side. Do the same thing and your first tool that you're going to use is always going to be your fingers, so I'm just take my fingers, I placed through the hair, where I want it now. I'M gon na take my Waco and it's very important that you use a Whitcombe that is specifically designed for synthetic hair and the reason is, if you were to use a brush or comb that's made for human hair. You could pull or stretch the synthetic fiber and you could ruin the wig, so you don't want to do that. So I think I'm gon na go for a spikey look. So I do have some wig Mo's here, I'm gon na squirt. It in my hand, swish it around I'm just gon na take my fingers and spike the hair, and all this will dry so another option that you can use to style. Your wig is just a water bottle, just spray some water on it. This one are straight out of them with the wig box, so I'm just gon na take it off and shake it like. I did, the other one. So I've been working this style with my fingers and if you feel like the the style, looks a little tired or it needs to be revitalized. Water is your best friend, so you can just take a spritz bottle and just spray it and work it with your fingers, like so just to get the style back to its original shape. Once you have the style where you like it, you can get a lick spray to hold the shape, so you would just spray it where you wanted it so to learn more helpful tips on how to style your wig and more videos.
