Hello and welcome to my video about how to make Sailor Moon, wig from parts bought from arda wigs calm. I bought a chibi wig, a long Pony clip just one because they're very thick to hair buns and an adjustable wig stand. The bangs on the TV are long, so I put the wig on my own head, marked where I wanted the bangs to be and then cut them. Next, you want to curl the bangs in layers, because the fibers are so thick you're going to have to separate layers out, so your curling iron can actually do the work. So I separated mine into about three layers: curl them one at a time and then kind of blended them in later by combing. It out, then, to cut the pigtails you'll want to add another elastic, a little farther away from the first elastic, so that when you cut the pigtail off, it's not a just a big mess of fibers. You want to hold them together so that they don't make a big mess after you cut the pigtails off. You want to clean up the stubs that you have created. Next, you want to create a firm stub, most tutorials suggest using caulking. I didn't have any on hand, so I used hot glue and since this wig is heat-resistant that it worked. Okay, now get out your ponytail clip it's basically a tiny wig wrapped around a hair clip, take the hair clip out and you will see a piece of elastic running around the edge of the ponytail base with ends tied you'll want to go ahead and cut this Elastic in half and preserve it so that you have it for each pigtail when you cut the whole thing in half next, look at the way the wefts are running. You want to cut halfway between the weft, so kind of count. The wefts divide it by two and then see if that's even and cut between the weft, so you don't actually cut into the hair fibers. Then you'll have two pigtails that are nice and thick and really long. Now you can use the elastic that you have on each ponytail to tie around your stubs on the base. Wig, you have lots of elastic, so you can wrap it around as many times as it will go. The hair buds each have two small combs inside them. I remove them with a seam ripper. The buns are kind of big, so what I did was kind of tuck, the hair fibers under inside the hair bun, and I kept twisting and scrunching and just pulling it together, so it made a more compact hair bun. Lastly, I pinned it into the wig with bobby pins. This is a temporary solution and that might not last very long because the bobby pins tend to be pushed out by your head. So I would suggest sewing the bun on to the wig for a much better permanent solution. Hairspray it to finish. If you like, and you have your very own Sailor. Moon wig enjoy your transformation.

usagififi: Great tutorial! It's given me a lot of inspiration!

Jedeemun: Definitely the best Sailor Moon wig tutorial I've seen!

Holly Giesbrecht: Thank you! I'm going to be making a Sailor Moon wig soon, just wondering how the pigtails hold up after putting it on/taking it off a few times?

Orvix Cosplay: You saved me money! I was going to buy 2 pig tails for my Wicked Lady cosplay but I will just buy 1 now because of this tutorial <3

Persefone Rest In Peace: I loved the crown!

Grace Ellen: Can you give us a tutorial on how to sew on the buns?

minogirl01: Hello!  I was just wondering from anyone who has worked with a chibi wig before, would you think it would be possible to pull all of the fiber back into a single ponytail in the back? I'm debating buying one for an upcoming cosplay, but would like to use it for a later cosplay that's has the same colored hair but has only a single pony tail in the back. Does think it would be possible? How well do you think the fibers will lay? Thanks!!!

Grace Ellen: Have you tried using glue to attach the buns.

Keah Creations: Did you cut the bangs straight across, or did you cut an arch in them? I'm tryin to make my own but I'm so nervous to cut the bangs!

Dia Forcier: How long are the long clip wefts? I wanna make this but want it to be long *^*

saturnsilence: will you also be making a neo queen serenity crown tutorial?

Kotoni - chan: Arda doesn't sell platinum blond anymore so what color do you recommend I was thinking of getting it in yellow blond but the don't have the buns in that color so I might have to go to a lighter color

Uchihagirl78: Is it possible to put the pigtails on without the buns? Like if I tied the elastic underneath the stubs with the pigtail hair over it, will that work? I'm using this as a guide for another character but she doesn't have buns in her hair.

Poca Pocket: What color wig did you use?
