Hey guys, it's your girl gabrielle in today's video. We have a new protective hairstyle that i'm gon na. Try this you part wig from love me hair. Trust me. It was a little bit of a learning curve, but if i can do it and i'm a beginner, so can you okay guys? So this is the packaging that the wigs come in. I have had a previous wig from love me here and i'm always impressed with a really cute purple packaging. Then this is what the wig comes in we'll get into the wig. In a few, then we also have a little packet with some additional accessories hair clips. Headbands then, of course, it comes with a wig cap which i was very happy about, and then a little love me here like pr pamphlet. So this is me this night i was getting ready to go out and i figured okay. This is really a beginner thing. Then i should be able to install this for the very first time before i went out and it worked out. So this is how the wig comes. Let'S just take that hair net off yeah. As you can see, it was pretty bouncy and so on. But, unlike headband weeks for example, which i feel like are very much in the box ready to go this one, we had to joshua okay. So after watching a couple youtube tutorials, i felt confident enough to go through this before going out. So what i'm gon na do i'm just gon na section out my leave out, so this is a u-part wig, so some of your hair will be out with this wig. So in terms of it being a protective style, you can say it's kind of like partially protective. It all depends on what you do if you leave out and how much heat you put on it. But i was okay with this, so i just you know, parted out a u, but now when it comes to the rest of my hair, i am pretty beginner and i was in a rush. I had a trained catch and everything. So what i did i, instead of cornrowing like i saw a lot of people, do or doing flat twists. I decided to just pull my hair into one and pin the ponytail as flat as possible against the size of my head. This is sort of what i do when i apply my headband wigs as well. So i think it just works for me and because i'm going to put the wig cap on right after it just works out. Yes, i'm laughing at myself. It just works out. So i've just decided to follow through with that for the u-part wig now more about this wig, it is body wave and it comes with three clips on the inside at the front: an elastic band, a thick elastic band, another clip at the back and then there's This, like bra, strap clip at the bottom as well, that i didn't show you and let me tell you this wig was so secure on my head that, after a few hours, i honestly was crying to take it off, because i think i had the elastic bands Too tight and it was just giving me a tension headache, so i would actually advise you know always make sure the wig is the correct size or definitely you want to adjust them. So it's not too tight on your head now guys. Unfortunately, my camera died. When i first started styling this, but here as you can see, i pretty much just flat ironed, my hair with the wig as well as added some curl. I do have some additional clips coming up at the end, showing how you can style it, but on this night this is what i did. I just gave it some loose curls at the end and baby. This wig came to life. Okay, guys, let's jump into styling mind you. My hair at this point is about three months: post relaxer, so my leave out. It was stressing me but second time that i had installed the wig, and this is with absolutely no heat, styling or anything, and you can see it actually blends really well like it. Almost looks like you know, an old blowout or something, but what i'm gon na do i'm gon na curl it a bit and show you guys like how the hair curls, how it straightens and stay tuned keep watching you see at the end now i am not The absolute best at curling, but pretty much what i did is add a little bit of curl it in this is how the hair curls and then i just sort of pinned them so that the curls would cool. And i get a lot like of a loose wave towards the bottom of the hair. Now i just tamed my leave out with a little bit of edge control, but i didn't put too much heat on it. I am trying to stay away from the heat a bit, so this is as tame as it's gon na get for my leave out, but this is what the hair looks like at the end. It just came to life y'all. It just looks so voluminous and everything. It really really looks like a fancy. Blowout the color just matches my hair really well and everything. This is the wig, so that's it for this hair video guys. I hope you all enjoyed stay tuned to my protective hairstyle journey by clicking that subscribe button and joining the gab fam.
