In this video I show you my personal moisturizing and sealing regimen including the products that I use. I’ve changed a couple of things, but so far so good.

I’m sharing with you why and how I moisturize and seal, the benefits for relaxed hair and the difference I’ve noticed in my hair ever since I incorporated this process in my hair care routine.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is m and welcome to this relaxed hair video yeah. I think we can call it that so i recently uploaded a a video of me getting my relaxer done and it went off the charts. You guys love the video. You guys were asking a lot of questions, so i figured you guys, like the relaxed hair content a lot and i'm planning on sharing even more and the purpose of today's video is i'm going to share the products i use to care for my relaxed hair as Well, as share the tips and tricks i have learned and what i do to my hair, but before getting into today's video, i just want to say: relaxed hair like skin care is a preference thing, but also what works for me won't necessarily work for you, because There are textures involved, our hair won't like the same things, but what you can do is you cannot copy, like you, don't have to copy exactly what i do, but you can incorporate my methods in a way that is suitable for your hair and in a way That your hair responds well to relaxed hair care is a trial and error thing. I have bought many products that have failed me over the years, but i committed to working consistently to discovering what my hair likes and continuing to do. What my hair likes and right now, i feel like i'm in a place where i am sort of closing in on a routine that is going to be best and yield the best results for my hair. So the first part of the video i'm going to take down my little braids um, i relaxed my hair a week ago and i got a wig that i needed to review. So what i did was i put my hair in these two braids. I'M just going to take them down, so you can see um. I clip them in with like bobby pins, because my hair is long, and that is how i keep them in place. But my hair is feeling a bit dry and i want to moisturize it and seal it, and then i'm going to put it back in these braids, because i still have some wig work to do. I'M very happy with the result of my recent relaxer. I am so so happy my hair loved the mizani um relaxer, because i didn't experience as much breakage as i usually do, and also my hair texture has improved because my hair is not knotting and tangling um, as often as it would so yeah. It was well worth the relaxer change, so this is what my hair looks like um with the braid art and what i am going to do is i'm going to take my white tooth comb comb, the hair out from the ends and go up to the roots. Just comb it out yeah, my hair feels very very dry, so what i'm going to do is i'm going to just with my finger, try to section my my hair into two. So i'm just going to twist my hair and get one of the sections out of the way and i'm going to grab a pen and just pin that out of the way what i have learned is when you work on your hair in sections. It is so much easier to work with and also the product will get into um. Like a lot more of the strands, i went and i got a leave-in conditioner. I used to practice the loc method, so lock method is liquid oil and cream and i would use a mist, a homemade mist that i make at home, and that is what i used to use. But now um, because when i wet my hair, it's going to revert back to its curl pattern. I am going to be using this masoori organics um. If i can just get this to focus the masoori organics leave in conditioner, it says it's a daily hair cream suitable for daily use on hair that is prone to not lacks hydration. That is what i suffer from and requires ease of styling. So i got this because my hair needs the additional um hydration. My hair suffers from the dryness and i'm just going to put a pump or two on my hands. Rub it in it smells very nice. It smells very nice, it's not thick. So i like that about this leave-in and i'm just going to work it through like this okay, i actually love this leave-in. You guys it. I hope my hair loves it as well, but it's silky, it's very silky to the top. I am going to grab my secret recipe bella amani growth oil. I made this batch this morning and i'm just going to apply the oil and go in with my finger like that. Put in my finger, i'm going to use my comb to like just make lines on the scalp. I don't like the whole, putting the nozzle in the hair and just squirting oil, because then it gets all over my roots and my hair becomes limp and oily. So what i like to do is, i will section the lines and then section again. A lot of you have been asking me about the oil um. I am working on it, the bottling, the labels and things, and i did want to send out some samples before i actually started with the product. This growth oil. Why i'm applying it to my scalp is because it has some ingredients of for stimulating the growth of the hair. Obviously the growth of hair starts in the scalp, so the products need to be applied to the scalp and give it a massage run. My fingers, like into my scalp like this and i'm going to massage in circular motions, give myself a scalp message. What i like to do is put some on my finger and go on my hairline, and that is how i've managed to maintain my hairline. Even when i wear wigs and frontals with got to be, you also want to put some on your nape area, and this is the back area. The area at the back of your scalp, i'm going to put some in my hand, and i'm going to rub it together, section my hair in two like that and just work it through my hair, like so just to seal in the moisture of that leave-in. On other days, i do use moisturizer, and today i'm going to be using this dark and lovely total repair, um oil moisturizer. It says it's for damaged hair, so i'm just going to put a very small amount. So literally, just that pea-sized amount and i'm just going to work it through my hair. This is obviously not going to work for somebody who wants to wear their hair out. Often i don't really wear my hair out a lot, so this works for me. Some people may feel like it's oily and it weighs their hair down, but this is how i've managed to get my hair to grow so healthy and stay looking so good. So i'm due for wash day um, i'm not wearing my hair. In cornrows, i decided to sort of give my hair a break from the cornrows um. I tend to neglect my hair when it's on cornrows, so when it's out like this, then i do get like. I do start feeling guilty when i take my wig off and i see my hair is dry or my hair is feeling you know, but also this is very quick and easy. I can do this by myself at home than having to go to the salon. All the time, because that is time consuming and i end up spending so much time at the salon. So i've now brushed my hair with a paddle brush and i'm just going to divide my hair in three sections and just do like a simple braid all right. So i'm just going to simple braid it not too tight as well, because if you make it too tight you're going to risk losing your edges. So so i'm going to use my black elastic blend and i'm just going to wrap it around the end of my braid like so okay, my scalp is feeling much better. My scope is really feeling dry and itchy, and now it feels a lot better. Okay. So there we go, i did bend that end a bit because i don't like the ends brushing up against my clothes and stuff, but i barely wear them out like this, because it annoys me when my hair, like rubs against things, that's why i pin them. So i'm quickly gon na do the other side, i'm not gon na yeah, that is my moisturize and seal routine. You can adapt it to su ju like i know some people go in lco. They do liquid cream and thin oil, but that is what i've been doing, and that is what has been working for me. So that brings me to the end of my video. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope i've shared some things that will help you in creating a routine for yourself.
