Review & Style Deirdre, A Versafiber Heat Safe Wig From Paula Young | Sunkissed Rooted + Bloopers!

Hi, everyone welcome to best best hair. I am so happy that you could join me tonight and if you saw my hair mail, wig haul, you know that i got deirdre in 1426 number eight that is sun, kissed rooted on my head. I am also wearing deer dress. She is an sf, 12, 28 number, six honey rooted, so we're gon na just go ahead and compare the deirdre that i am wearing is a year old. So in the box we're taking up the netting. This is how she comes all prepared. We got a straw in there for your cocktails later, so she is a number eight root where this is a number six, so you can see that the number six root is a little bit darker, so sun, kissed rooted versus honey rooted, so i'll just spin around Here so we can see the back all right so for the inside of the cap, it is a basic cap. Has the soft front, this is enclosed. There'S going to be permatease up there, we have our soft covered ear tabs. There is the bendy metal stay. We have a stretchy cap, so we have the extended nape. That is an enclosed soft nape. I do feel bendy metal stays in the nape as well. So you can kind of turn those in to help keep the wig on and, of course, your velcro adjusters, so that you can ingest one inch in either direction and then the nice stretch to the cap. So let's go ahead and put her on and play with her a little bit all right. So here is deirdre straight out of the box and, as you can see, the versa fibers are just a nice fiber where they're not too shiny. I think that they look really natural. I wanted to show you deirdre in the catalog, so this is her here. These are all of the rooted colors available in the versa fibers. So that's good to know and that last number, like i said, number eight or number six. Those are the root colors. So this one is a number eight we'll compare a little bit. So some of you who are new to my channel or new to wigs um have asked me if wigs are itchy, because i always do this. No they're, not itchy, there's permatease. So if you haven't yet watched my permatease video, it's little extra fibers in the wig and it's in every manufacturer, every brand and it just helps to hold the style to give it lift to give it volume to conceal the open wefts. So i'm always trying to kind of activate it and kind of separate the hair fibers away from the permatease. So i want to include a disclaimer on my videos that says: don't try this at home unless you're keeping your wig, because you guys know i go to town jejing and you cannot return a wig after you do that once you mess up that crisscross part, you Know don't do it if your box is going to come with a little hygiene cap, put it on try on the wig. If you do not see potential in that wig grab the return slip, send it back exchange it for something else. But if you see potential, then you can cut the tags, keep the wig and do what i do. I just felt i should throw that out there. So this is the part so that rooting does help to conceal the wefts and, as you can see, it is factory crisscrossed. Now you can, you can move apart in any direction when you have an open wefted, because you have the permatease that's going to disguise it now. That'S not saying that it's going to be easy and it might require training. The fibers now remember versa. Fiber is heat friendly, so you could use the hot air brush tool that some of you have seen, but just because it maybe comes with a left part but you're. A right parter like don't be afraid about that. Just go ahead and part it in the direction that you want it to go and then just train the hair to go in that direction. You know unless you're open to parting in other directions, all right, so i'm going to go ahead and i'm going to mess her up. So i'm gon na give her a good spritz with water and then i'm really gon na dig in there and work on that. Permatease lift the hair fibers up and over the permatease i like to really get in there and judge it up now i want to tell you guys you do not have to do this process if you like the flatter look of the wig the way it looks Just out of the box, that's okay, too! This is just how i like to do it, how i feel comfortable wearing a wig. I just use water on these curly styles and i scrunch just to kind of get those curls to bounce back, because this has been sitting in a box. Now i'm just working on getting rid of the crisscross part and fluffing the fibers again, if you prefer a flatter look, you do not have to do this process now, i'm just going to twist up those curls a little bit just to keep them away. From my face - and there you have it: deirdre's measurements are 11 and a half inches at the front top and crown nine inches at the sides and upper back six and a half inches at the nape and her weight is 4.4 ounces. All right, so here is deirdre after a little messing with her, and she is just a super cute little wavy bob and i love the style. I like the swoop of the bang, and if you guys see i kind of do this and go like this. Just to kind of get that to stay over now everybody asks. Can you cut a bang in it? Yes, you can cut a bang in any wig. Take your time go slow, you've seen me, do it in a few videos, so i believe i did it in mariah. I believe i did it in the um veron victoria veronica. I can't remember which i've done just a few wigs. So absolutely you can so she is fun for summer. I really like the sun kiss rooted color, it's a little bit lighter than the honey rooted, but, like i said, i think it will be super fun. So, let's just try a couple, quick styles, so that you guys have a couple options in case you don't want to wear her down so i'll start with a headband that is really easy and cute with the headbands. Now, i'm gon na twist on one side, add my little sparkly barrettes. Of course, you guys know my accessories are dollar tree finds always check their hair accessories. How cute is that now, i'm just gon na gather some of the hair up at the top halfway. My little half upper use a big claw clip. You can always grab a weft while you're putting in the claw clip just to help everything hold and look at how fun and bouncy that is now. Let'S continue this with a little pony just using another cloth lips kind of tug on everything, so the bottom looks natural. Isn'T that cute just a great work summer style? And now i'm just going to show you how you can wear it down in a little different style, i'm just gathering some of the hair and smoothing it down tucking it behind my ear. Deirdre is a really easy ear. Tuck. I leave a few curly tendrils out at the front to frame your face. Fluff it up isn't that cute she's such a fun style all right and then i'll just twist a little bit on top put in a pretty claw clip - and this is probably my favorite look so cute. Let'S try a hat for summer. Oh, my gosh, i'm feeling artsy, you guys, isn't that cute super fun all right, so i hope that you guys enjoyed this look at deirdre and sunkist rooted and the comparison with deirdre in honey rooted. She is a beautiful little wavy bob, a super fun style for summer. I do want to mention that, with the versa fibers, i have noticed that these caps run on the large side of average. So just note that now i did cinch these in and i did put down those bendy metal stays because i do a lot with the wigs. I am wearing a velvet wig grip underneath but um. I just want you guys to be aware of that. Somebody asked me: is there other ways to secure it? Well, i don't have it here, but i will put a bobby pin at the nape underneath my hair and on the outside, of the wig kind of on either side of that extended nape and then sometimes i'll. Also put a bobby pin right under here, just so that you guys are aware of that. So i do believe if you have a larger um circumference mine is 22 and a half that she's going to fit you just fine for petite. You might have to take in the cap a little bit, but it might be enough for you to cinch it in so she is super cute, like i said, i am still planning on doing a wavy bob comparison of the rooted blondes. So once i get the review done for collins, i will then do the comparison with collins, with tessa, with deirdre and with long leading lady. I might throw bryce in there too, but i kind of want to stick. I kind of wanted to stick with the rooted blondes just so that we could see which ones are the warm tones and which ones are the cool tones. I would definitely say sun, kiss rooted is a warm tone. That'S fine! I like both, but i know some people have a preference, especially with their skin tone or maybe their eye color. Thanks again to all my subscribers.
