Wig Must Haves ! Everything You Need For A Flawless Install | Step By Step Application Process

Baby, if you want a flat install and you don't have a hot comb - it's not happening. Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel and if you're here for the first time, then hey what's up, welcome subscribe. If you aren't already, my name is zay and, as you guys can tell from the title, i'm here to put y'all on to everything you gon na need for a flawless wig install, but before we get into the video being that it is black history month. At the start of every upload for the month of february, i will be highlighting a black owned business before getting into the video. So without further ado, let's check out today's black owned business. So today's black owned business that i would like to highlight goes by the name of seven mia. Seven lia is a chic accessory hair brand, so go ahead and check them out. The instagram and website is linked here. So now, let's get into the video all right. Y'All, so in this bin basket, bassinet, whatever you want to call, it is everything you will need for a successful, flawless wig install like look everything i used baby all in here, alright, so first things. First, first thing you gon na need baby is a wig cap. Okay, some people don't use wig caps. I use a wig cap. I make sure to put on a wig cap because i like to protect my braids and i don't like my wigs getting snagged onto my braids because it like you, know the wigs that come with the clips it gets annoying. I don't like that. I just like to protect my hair with some wig cap. I use a flesh tone, nude brown, um, wig cap and dm. That'S that's! That'S! That'S! That'S step number! One! Okay, if you don't have a wig cap, you know it's not by force, but that's what i use and also it just helps your part. Just look nice and just you know, look super natural without a wig cap. If you just throw it onto your black hair, you will see like the different spots and thank you so next thing you may need for your install. This is optional. This is again optional. Is your glue? Okay, um? I use ghost bond. If i want my wig, if i know my weight got to be on for a couple of days, i may use ghost bond okay, so i'm using ghost bond and it's going to be on for like a good week or so depending how many layers i put Usually, with my ghost bond, i put two layers: okay, so i'll put my first layer and then cool it down. Speaking of cooling it down. Instead of using a blow dryer, i use a portable usb chargeable fan, hear about og. Then you know you've you've seen this before you've definitely seen it before so. Yes, i definitely love to use a fan instead of a blow dryer because blow dryer you got to plug it up, you got to hold it. You got to make sure it's on the right. Setting a fan is cool. It'S swift one two three and got the glue dried okay, so i just like to wave it across and honestly within, like less than within, like 30 seconds that first layer or whatever layer, i'm working on, is already dry. So the next item that i need baby is my got to be spray. Okay, like the got to be she, you need her. Sometimes you may have to um run it under hot water if you're spraying it and it's not coming out, but there's something in the bottle. All that means is just that the the nozzle is clogged up, because it is a pretty strong, um hairspray. So i just take my got to be: i just spray it across to just make sure it's really. You know it's going to stick like the spray alone, be holding down your wig, so now the spray, with whatever glue that you use chef's kiss. Okay. Next thing you need, of course, baby is your wig? Okay, you need your wig um frontal closure, whatever, if you have a frontal wig, if you have a closure wig this this, these must haves are universal for whatever wig that you got. If they got lace on it, you still gon na need these items. So i take my wig. I just slide it up front put it on whatever you know, measure make sure everything is nice and competitive, nice and good, and it's set once the wig is on you're gon na use your comb again and just like press it down to make sure that you Know the lace is in place this next item holy grail, okay, and that is an elastic band baby. You this miracle work whether your lace is hd, whether it's transparent, whether it's swiss lace, uh an elastic band, is gon na, have it melting and looking like scalp. Okay, so once you put your wig on usually with this elastic band, it is pretty thick, so i just fold it in half and tie it down. Just like that right, i make sure to tie it right at the beginning of the lace. You can pull out your baby hair, so it doesn't get. You know, melted in with the with the lace, so just pull out your baby hairs and tightest elastic band. Once you tie the elastic band, you can use that time to do your makeup. You can use that time to style your hair. There is no time limit to when the elastic band should be on. However, you know the longer the better so when it's time to style your hair, while the elastic band is on your head. This next must-have item is your nairobi foaming lotion, okay, baby this? This is a miracle worker. So what i do, i just put it on my hands or just put it on my hair and i just make sure to work it through, like um the the hair, because it's for this next step, so once i put it on, i comb it through and All of that good stuff - and then i go in with drum roll, please another must-have, which is a hot comb baby. If you want a flat install and you don't have a hot comb, it's not happening like there's. No such thing as a flat install without a hot comb. You could get the ones you put on the stove. You could get the ones that you plug in. I have both, but i use the plug-in one most of the time, because it's just more convenient. You just run that hot comb through and you're just gon na watch how flat it gets, especially if your wig is freshly washed. You know when you freshly wash your hair, and it's just like you know up, run this hot comb through it baby and chef's kiss okay, it's it's gon na, be great. It'S gon na be great! So then, after you hot comb, your hair, you know that's when you could go in, you know it flat iron, it curl it whatever you gon na. Do i flat ironed my hair. So after i combed it, i just flat ironed, my hair all still wow. This elastic band is on my head, so next another holy grail baby. You need that wax stick cause after you style. Your hair, you're gon na have fly. Aways you're gon na have flyways flying this way. That way and baby - that's not cute, so you need your wax stick to flatten it all down, get it all out the way. So the wax stick that i use is the edge booster wax stick um the cherry scent and it works well. You can use whatever wax stick you like, but just to let you know when you do put the wax stick on your head. It will appear white, but it will not stay white after i use my last stick. I go back in with my hot comb and just flatten it out, because the wax stick is thick. It just gives it like a nice glossy finish a nice flat glossy finish, and i love it so time for the baby hairs with the baby hairs. You'Re gon na go back in with your nairobi. Okay, and i know some people they probably use like got to be gel or whatever i don't. I use the nairobi because the nairobi, like i said she works, wonders put that all on it on a rim. All over the perimeter of your frontal brush in style in your baby hairs as you please go back in with the elastic band and tie it down. So when i go back in with the second time with my elastic band, i don't i don't fold it again. I tie it um at the regular width of it, because it'll also give me that push back effect and just lay everything all together. So the front of my hair can be nice and laid as well, and the next step, which is the last step, is also very optional. But i went in with a hair serum just to tame the hair, because when my hair is freshly freshly washed, it doesn't have that shiny sheen, as if you know you wore it for like a couple of days. So i just went in with a little bit of serum. This serum is from function of beauty and i'm just squirt a little dom size. One pump rub it in rub it through my hands and rub it all through the hair. Once you got these items, ain't! No need to book nobody to to to do your hair ain't, no need to wonder damn how she get her in store, so flawless, baby! All you need are these items you can find all of them at your local beauty supply store. You can find them at sally's. You can find them literally anywhere and yeah baby.
