Hey everybody welcome back to Teslas weed closet at wake studio one today I want to just do some simple summer styling. On a couple of my wigs. It'S always fun to do and fun to watch. It'S like a try on and then we're just gon na mess with wigs today a little bit. If you remember a couple of weeks ago, I did a video where I demonstrated and sold some summer styling sets. It took me a long time to cure it. The sets that I wanted with the pieces that I wanted in it and it went over tremendously. I am getting tons of amazing feedback from you that who have what the styling sets in lots of requests to make more, and I really didn't make any profit at all on those sets. I just really wanted to inspire you to work with your wigs to to have accessories to them, to use them to create a little bit of a different look. This helps us have joy in our leader tees. So today, I'm going to show you a couple of wigs these weights. I purchase from wig studio one. I will attach the links to these products below so expand the description box so that you can see all the links and promo codes for these items. If you have any questions be sure to email, support at Lake studio, 1.com they're always ready to help so now I'm wearing the trestle or Charlotte in chiffon candy, and it's just a cute little affordable summer style. You know me: I love all my decorative clips. So, let's see what we can do, I have a couple of them in hand here and I love the little alligator jaw. It'S really easy on the wigs, yet it's very firm and holds very securely there's a lot of different ways. You can place your clips, so if you want to just do a little faux ear, tuck place the clip just behind the ear. When you place your clip, you want the most flattering, look from it right. So if you pull the hair taut and place the clip, sometimes that doesn't give you the most flattering. Look you really want to try to prop up that volume and curl, if that's what you're going for. So what I do is I just go with the natural look of the hair so, but when it clip it right behind the ear, I'm careful not to pull it too tight there. That way, it leaves some volume above the clip, and that gives it a cute. Look especially with curly stacked, back look at this style, so don't pull it taut unless you have straight hair, and that is the goal that you're going for, and I also love these little jaw clips. These are many ones with little decorative flowers on them, but they come in all sizes. All the way up to a large jaw clip that you might use for a ponytail to secure a lot of hair, but these are more decorative. They don't really have a whole lot of holding power, but if you just want to put them in there strategically, this is so cute for summer, styling, just the cutest, and you could use many of them all throughout the hair. This would be cute to surround like a bun detail, so most of the styling sets include like a little fruit clip. I did not save any of these for myself. I thought they were so adorable and I wanted everybody to get one. So I didn't even save any for myself. This is out of the pretty in pink styling said, and I think it's like a little. I don't know little pomegranate or something so it's just a bobby pin on one end, so you would just apply it as you would a bobby pin and it's just the cutest little detail for summer styling and then the square bands, the hinge to square me - and I think you've all seen these - these are an absolute must for wigs. I know that they're they were created for natural hair, but I got to tell you they serve the easiest accessory and the most functional to wear with wigs. They have little rubberized teeth that helps hold the hair in place without ripping it out, and it's so gentle on wigs, but yet has a nice firm hold and it's so so comfortable. We'Re short here, I think, there's a couple of different ways that you can make them look very flattering and especially that the voluminous curly Satta, like I have on here. So you can come down through the from the top leaving some hair out in the front and that's more decorative. It helps prompt that backups. So, even if you have a style that doesn't have a nice bumpy profile in the back, you can probably create that kind of volume just using the square bands and play around with the placement of them. So if you want to move it further back, you know it just it changes the look and what I also also like to do, whether it's on a lace, front, wig or a traditional cap, wig like I have here, is I like to come in from the Front just over the ear tab and then move the hair back place the square bands and then just pull out a few pieces at the front. I'Ve also been known to wear more than one at a time. So if you have a couple of different colors and styles - and you have an outfit that you really liked to pair it with like this pink and white shirt, you can get a double kind of a double layer effect. They'Re, not cute. So, even if you just have up like a medium jaw clip there and you want to cut it gather the hair from the sides and kind of pull it up there on the top, you get a cute little top knot. Look! So if you have a banquet or others type of summer event for evening that you need to look a little more formal, I think you could do a great job with some style like this, because you could pull the hair back and clip it. Just under the crown and kind of give the illusion that there's a little updo in the back when in reality you just have there's just a little clip just under the crown, the other way to wear. It is, if you just want to sheep like a slick. Chic look spray water all over it, create your part and press down from that part tuck it behind the ears slam down the layers around face and when it dries, it's gon na have a little bit of a slick, look without adding oils or creams, but that Just gives you another neat way to wear, maybe an evening look on your summer style. So do you golf do garden. I just love these backless visors, this one's adidas. I'Ve had this one for quite a few years um, but I love wearing this out. So I would just place it through the top of the hair just behind the ear and then work the hair at the top to pull out and around it. It'S really cute, so I purchased some headbands with little bow tie knots on the top of them, and I thought they would be so cute style, either long or short wigs, and so I didn't save any for myself. Unfortunately, because I have tons of scarves and headbands that I can wear so just style with a headband on short hair, there's a lot you can do so you could just come in and tack down the sides. It gives you kind of the flapper look. It is kind of cute that way and if it's a windy day, this is exactly how I wear it. It just kind of keeps all the fibers in place, so they don't fly around and get tattered so once then you have it in place like this. You can start picking some of the fiber out, so you get a completely different look, but it's still obvious that you have on a headbands. You can also layer your look as well. So if you wanted to start with a square bands to keep the hair exactly in place and then put the headband on top, that might even be a good solution. If you're gon na be out all day - and you don't want your accessories to move around. So, basically, you would place that square band and then move the headband over top just for a little bit of extra security, and you could do any of the things that I just showed you with a pixie cut as well. Something that's really short and cropped accessories. Are super cute and Pixies alright, so let's take a look at some options for it longer hair, I'm back wearing Heidi by genre note in the color 14:26: it's not a rooted color. They have some honey's and some butterscotches. It'S a warm shaded style. Heidi has a lot of volume, a lot of permit, tease and a pretty thick density. So this is one style. That'S really gon na trap the heat in warm weather. So if you love Heidi - and you do because it has just the most flattering layers and curl to it - there's some things that you can do to sort of keep the hair off of your neck away from your face, look cute and be functional and stay cool. This summer, so I love ponytails in the summer time with my longer wigs, and I always prefer to use a medium to large pressure clip if your hair isn't too thick. You can certainly use one of these because it props that ponytail instead of hugging the neck, it actually props it up a little bit away from the neck. So you would apply it so by applying the pressure clip, it does give it a little bit of lift to that pony. You can also use this pressure clip to do a little bit of a twist in the back to keep it off the neck, and you want to keep it low on the Nate to make sure you have some good coverage back there and if you need some Support you can always use a little bit of a clip that will also help tack down the hair at the of the hairline at the nape, to keep you from worrying about coverage in the back. So sometimes I'd like to draw the hair to one side - and you can put it in a ponytail like this or you could just leave it loose and use a few clips in the back. So in some of the summer styling sets, I included a chiffon scrunchie scarf to a we're on your ponytail, and I also included some elastic bands so that you can secure the hair before you put on the scrunchie, because the scrunchie itself probably is gon na. Be enough hold, and I know we have one of those elastic bands - handy sometimes I'll - just use two scrunchies, so I use one to secure the hair and then I apply the cute little detailed scrunchie. You can also use your scrunchie just to do a little bit of a tie back something very simple in the back. That brings that off of the neck. It also looks adorable with hats, so here we have a baseball and you can use a wider brim. More of a Sun or the Sun Hat there, so one of the last things I'll show you is, I love scarves. I love time scarves up in a ponytail twisting them up in a bun simply just tying them at the top of your head and a little and a little bow. You can use a square bands first to secure the hair and then apply the little scarf. So many things you can do with little decorative scarves. So, as you know, I just love styling with accessories my square bands, all of my clips and all of my scarves and headbands. I just love it all. I hope you're inspired to work with your wigs this summer to stay cute and cool. We'Ll see you next time on Tessa's, we closet at week Studio One
