525Lines: They lock up stuff that gets stolen. Razor blades are often locked up.

Greysen Gagne: Bro, take responsibility instead of using the race card. They're locked up because they get stolen more than the other products. Hold yourselves accountable for once my god.

Donut Religion: It's clear there is a trend in shoplifting. It costs time and money for the extra security of the products, so there's a reason they're doing this.

Merri Frusti: They are getting mad at the store for preventing theft.

Marlzz 81: The Walmart market by me (mostly upper middle class Asian area these days) locks up select laundry products (scent beads, tide, ect) as well as all the make up items not just black make up. And I’ll also mention I’ve been to plenty Walmart’s in good areas and moderate areas with blacks and Hispanics and the ethnic items aren’t locked at all. Idk what areas they’re locking these items at but I haven’t seen it much in Cali at least . One area I was shocked at not only the size of the ethnic hair offerings but also that it was again open not locked up. The area is mostly white but a little of everything really. Just surprised me because the area doesn’t have the demographic for that much ethnic hair products . These anti theft things may have to do with specific thefts in a particular store . Some stores have laundry items that are caged and others they are out on the shelves .

Andy Lee: This is not a discrimination what the hell. Walmart has right to protect their stuff.

High Noon: They locked up bodybuidling supplements as well. You forgot that too.

I Support The Current Thing: I say stop selling it, let other retailers deal with the theft.

John C: In Puerto Rico the supermarkets have various products along the wall at the checkout area locked up. These are the products that typically show up on the loss prevention reports. I would rather have access to those products under lock and key than the supermarkets increasing the price or no longer carrying the product. Numbers don't lie.

Roger Dodger: They come in like a plague of locust to strip the shelves.

DayBeforeTomorrow: That $3 product will now be $5

DayBeforeTomorrow: Yes it is. And as a white male, I feel discriminated against because they lock up my mach 3s and cough medicine.

Jason Garza: Not judging they’re only locking up high dollar items makes me question about you you should know no one steals white products

nickfromdasack: They locked up air fresher

Pheara Lim: I wonder Target will lock up merchandise too? Hmmm ...

Angel J: You know why

luna cascade: Do you mean to tell me that with all the money Walmart makes they can't figure out another way to prevent loss prevention? Just sayin.

kcblkpanther: Your dollar is power!

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ: Lol they’re about to loot Walmart ‍♂️

truly di: So imagine how many Caucasian people people's stealing their own products without it being locked up

Miccheck1_2: Nope.

daft wod: Lol.

Andrew DuBose: It’s done based on SKU. Nothing discriminatory about it.

Dumble Doff: Why you think?

David Collins: Can I steal too

XREY®: They lock up the overpriced flea & tick products, too. Quick, Fluffy, call Gloria Allred and the NAACP - National Association for the Advancement of Cat People!!

Erica J: Stopped shopping at Walmart YEARS AGO!

antoinette steele:

Tahjianna Price: That's why there is a beauty hair supply store for us black ppl

Joseph Lopez: Is it true black people hair falls off if they use water?

kcblkpanther: Stop shopping there! Boycott

T W: You Are

Smokey Dawg: Maybe teach your community not to steal

Light Yagami: I understand the perception of racist intent, but nobody is forcing you to use the products with black models. Hair products are hair products, and if you don't like physical stores, you can buy it online.

S K: Why do black people need special hair products? I just use regular soap in my pubic hair.

Marie Anne: Houston Texas walmart locked up their hair products, clerk said people come in and steal everyday the product locked up. Sounds like they need better camera's and store security.
