Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. It is nadine here back with another video and today i'm going to be walking you guys through my wash day routine. This was a highly requested video on my instagram. If you don't follow me on instagram, you definitely should it is um. Don'T forget to subscribe. Like comment share turn on your post notifications so that you can be notified every time i post a video and yeah we're about to hop right into the video. So if you want to see how i shampoo condition and style, my hair then keep on watching so first things. First, i'm just going to start off by wetting my hair. As you can see, it is straightened because i did do a silk press. If you haven't seen that video, you should definitely go ahead and check it out, but i just drench my hair and just prepare it to shampoo. As you can see, the curls are coming back. I like to use my nexus shampoo. I just get it to a good lather in my hands and i just distribute the shampoo all over my head really focus on my scalp and just make sure i get it as clean as possible, and i do do this process twice normally. I don't really use a shampoo that is focused on curly hair, which i am gon na try. Actually, i have a review coming for you guys very soon on that, but for the most part i don't because i usually just leave that up to my leave-in conditioner and my styling creams, but i'm definitely going to try it out if you guys have any good Recommendations, you should, let me know, um yeah and then after that, we're just going to go ahead and rinse out all of the shampoo once we're done with the shampoo we're going to go ahead and move on to conditioner, it's also the nexus conditioner. I get a really good amount of conditioner and i just put it all over my hair, because we all know how dry curly hair tends to be. We all know how difficult to detangle curly hair can be. So i like to get a lot and just put it all over the hair, once i've done that i just take my hair and i wrap it into a little bun and i take a shower cap and i cover it. And while my hair is sitting with the conditioner, i just go ahead and shower and give the conditioner some time to just sit and soak into my hair. Once i'm done showering, i just go ahead and take off the shower cap and i use a wide tooth comb to detangle my hair. I find that when you leave the conditioner to sit in the hair for a while, it definitely makes the hair much easier to detangle and it definitely makes my hair feel a lot more moisturized. So i just go in and i detangle from the tip to the root and once i'm all done with that, i'm just going to rinse my hair and really try to make sure all the conditioner comes out. So once i'm done rinsing my hair, i take my microfiber towel and i wrap it around my hair just to soak up any excess water and i just leave it on while i get dressed so that when the time comes for me to style my hair, it's Not overly saturated with water, so once i'm dressed, i like to start off by taking my hair down and taking my wide tooth comb once again and just detangling i like to detangle before and after styling, because i feel like it just makes the hair a lot Easier to deal with so yeah, let's go in and comb it out, so the products that i'm going to be focusing on today are by melanin hair care. I always start off with the leave-in conditioner, i'm going to take a couple of pumps and just spread it all over my hair evenly. I love this stuff. It is so rich and moisturizing. It has no sulfates, no parabens, no silicones and no formaldehyde. So it's really really good for moisturization, it's full of amazing oils, like jojoba oil. It has spearmint oil, it has rosemary extract and tons and tons and tons more good stuff for curly hair. It'S amazing. These products also work really well for women with kinkier hair textures, because trust and believe i did my research before buying this stuff. Okay, yes ma'am! So next i'm gon na go in with the twist along getting style cream, which is also very moisturizing. As you can see, it's super super thick. It has shea butter, it has cocoa seed butter mango butter. It has vitamin e extract, avocado oil, castor oil. Very, very, very rich and moisturizing, and it's definitely up my alley because my hair tends to get pretty dry and with these products. I noticed that my hair stays moisturized for days like moisture, is not something that i have to stress about with these products at all. So i just go in comb it out. This is what it's looking like. It'S looking very nice, yes ma'am! So i'm just gon na take my big scrunchie and i am going to flip my hair upside down and put it in a pineapple because i am doing this overnight and i'm just going to show you guys how i do it. So i put my hair up in a pineapple or just a really really high ponytail right on the top of your head. I take a head scarf and i fold it diagonally so that it forms the shape of a triangle just like this, and i put it over the back of my head like so, and then i just pick my head up and i cross it over my head. Just like this, and then i just tie it at the back - and this is really good because it prevents any tug or pull when you sleep, and it just keeps my hair really nice and intact. So this is what it's looking like and i'm gon na come back the next day to show you guys the takedown all right, you guys. So it is now the following day and i'm just taking off my head scarf and just preparing to take my hair down and just show you guys what i do so once i take out my hair, i just give it a good shake. You know i flip it around a couple times, get it nice and loose, and this is what it's looking like straight out of the scrunchies straight out of the head scarf. This is what my curls are looking like, as you can see around the front and the sides in the back of my hair that were pulled up in the ponytail. It was looking a little stretched, so what i'm going to do is i'm just going to take some water in a spray bottle and i'm just going to spray around the front and back of my hair just to allow it to. You know, shrink up and activate those curls um. My hair also was not 100 dry, so i just went in with my diffuser anyways we're just gon na go right ahead and diffuse. Normally, i don't diffuse, i let it air dry, but since i did do this overnight and it was, you know still a little damp and just you know. For the sake of time, i decided that i was going to just diffuse the hair. I did that for about 15 minutes, and this is what it was looking like. So so beautiful you guys. I love the melon and haircare products. These are my new favorite. My hair just looks so healthy, so bouncy, and what i love is that my hair is not weighed down at all. It is so fluffy. As you can see, the bounce is just out of this world. You guys i love it. That is pretty much it for this video. I really hope that you guys enjoyed it. Don'T forget to like comment, share, subscribe and follow me on instagram. If you have not done so already. I love you all thank y'all so much for watching and i will see you guys in the next video bye, y'all
