Natural Hair Care Products (My 5 Favourite) (2017)

So today I'll be taking you through 5 of my favorite products for 2017, and some of them are combination of moisturising products, leave-ins erm, ... cleansing products. So if you're looking for some new products to try out, then make sure you keep watching., Ok, so the first product I'm going to show you is the Cantu erm..Shea Butter for natural hair, which is the Complete Conditioning co-wash, and I remember first trying this product out In February 2017 and erm ... yeah, I really really liked it., I mean co-wash products. I wasn't really a fan of co-washing, my hair. When I started out on my hair journey, I was always using a lot of shampoos, erm ..., but eventually erm ... towards the end of my like journey. When I kind of was beginning to kind of, I think, transition to natural, I start getting into sulfate-free erm ... products and co-wash products and erm .... One of the things I wasn't sure about is whether it can cleanse the hair really well, but this product really really does I mean, does say that it gently cleanses curls and removes heavy product build-up, and it actually does really do that. It really removes a lot of product build-up and, as I've mentioned in the previous video you know I do kind of use heavy products on my hair, whether it's gels or you know heavy erm, ... creamy products. You know you always kind of need something. That'S going to remove erm..product from your hair and also without kind of stripping the hair and leaving the hair, nice and soft erm ... so yeah. I really like this product and yeah I've been using it for a long time. Now., Erm ... in terms of the price erm..it is £4.99 erm, ... and erm .... I got it from my local hair shop, but you can get it on eBay. You can get it on Amazon, erm, ... and also check your local hair shop, because you might find it in there as well., Okay, so moving onto the next product, which is one I've spoken about in a number of different videos - and that is the As I Am Leave-in Conditioner. I..I ... really do love this product ..., it is sooo moisturising, it nourishes my strands. You know when I put this on my hair. My hair feels really moisturised. Erm .... I'Ve been using this for a long time and it's a product that if they run out then I'll try something else, but I always end up going back to this.. I really really do like it. Erm ... in terms of the consistency. It'S quite it's not thick. It'S kind of like a watery kind of you know erm ... consistency, erm ..., which is why it absorbs into my hair, really really well erm, ... and in terms of the price it is £9.99 from my local hair shop, erm .... You can also get this on eBay and Amazon, and also you can possibly check out your local hair shop to see if it's in there as well, and obviously prices will vary depending on where you get it from.. So moving onto another product which it just excites me right about now and that is the Aunt Jackie's Knot On My Watch: Instant Detangling, Therapy. Now *sighs*. I remember what happened with this one is that I actually used to use the Mane and Tail Detangling Spray. The Tangles and Knots Solution, erm ... and I use that all the time and then I must gone into my local hair shop to look for the product and erm .... They just kind of was out of stock., So I decided to try something else and this product was the replacement and ever since I've got hold this product, I actually haven't bothered to repurchase The Mane n Tail Detangling Spray, because I actually love this product. Now listen, Although it is an Instant Detangling Therapy, when I first tried it, I didn't feel like it kind of done the job for my hair in terms of detangling. But then I soon realised that I needed to detangle my hair in smaller sections and that's when I noticed the difference., But not only that this product is so moisturising and it defines my coils beautifully as well. You know so it's kind of like a 3 in 1for me and I've gone through so many bottles of this since I've discovered it and and tried it on my hair, it's kind of like I cannot live without this product right about now.. So it's a really great product and I'll definitely recommend it. If you're looking for something you know, I can alternative to gels, because obviously some people might want to use gels all the time you might want to find a product that defines your coils and obviously each product would work differently for people, but this product. I just love it. In terms of the price erm ..., it's £4.99, so it's ..., it's reasonable! So obviously, when it does run out, I can always replace it. I don't worry too much about the cost. It'S not that expensive, erm ..., but I just wish they done a bigger bottle because seriously this this does not last me too long and it's kind of like I have to have this on hand when I am doing my hair. Erm ... but yeah. I really really like it and in terms of the consistency, it is quite watery, erm, ... and it's kind of light as well and again. That'S why it absorbs into my hair really really nicely erm ... a little does go a long way, but I've said before I'm heavy-handed with products, so I like to use a lot to make sure my hair is WELL WELL moisturised., Erm, ..., so yeah this product. You can get on Amazon and eBay and also again check your local hair, shop., Okay, so the next product I'm guna, show you is the a product from a company Afrocenchix and it's a natural moisturising cream. Erm .... They actually sent this to me last year to review erm .... I reviewed the product erm .... They sent me a couple of products actually erm ..., and this was one of my favourites from the line. Erm .... I actually finished that product in no time and repurchased it again, because I really liked it this product is so moisturising.. When I put this on my hair *sigh*, I can't even explain the feeling it was like my hair just felt like ... Candy ..., like like a like a ... Candy floss, should I say it felt so soft so moisturising and it was just. I couldn't believe it. I was like WOW actually said the words WOW. It was sooo moisturising and erm ... yeah. I couldn't believe how it made my hair feel.. I mean they're different products that make your hair feel soft, but this was like a different kind of feeling, and I really really like this product Erm ... in terms of the consistency, erm..it's ..., it's not thick, it's very light. Actually. I mean when you squeeze it out, it looks thick, but when you actually feel it it's really light and absorbs into the hair really really well.. I mean I am a fan of like light based products, not too thick or heavy. I actually do prefer lighter products erm.. because of the way kind absorbs into my hair it. Just I just love the feeling of it. Erm .... This product also smells really really nice, as well. Erm ... in terms of price. It is £12.00, it's a bit on the expensive side, but I guess they say you get what you pay for Erm ... in terms of where you can get it from you can get it on erm ... Afrocenchix's website, which is Afrocenchix.com., Erm .... You can also get it erm ... from Whole Foods. I think you can get it online as well or pop into the stores, and I think there's another place. You can get it as well. I'Ll put the details in the description box., Erm ..., but it's not widely accessible in terms of you know like local hair shops or anything like that. So you would have to purchase this online. And last but not least, is the Mielle Organics Styling Honey and Ginger Gel *sighs* this product I mean I've tried that out quite a few gels in the past and although some of them have been good and I've liked, It there's just one thing that they well most of them tend to do is leave a bit of a crunchy feeling or a little bit of a dry feeling. You know feeling that I just don't like, but with this product it was a different kind of feeling.. When I put it on my hair, it was like my hair felt moisturised my curls were defined and my hair was soft. I could put my fingers through my coils and my coils would just detangle easily. It was just amazing how this product made my hair feel, and there was no hardness, no crunch. No nothing. This product is the perfect one for my hair, you know it. It really really is a good product, erm ..., you know again, you know if you're looking for a gel, I would definitely recommend this erm .... It'S funny. I know our hair works differently. Some people might try this and not be so keen on it, but I would definitely say if you're looking for a product to try, it doesn't give you any crunch or anything. This is the product to try out., Erm ... in terms of erm ..., I mean the consistency of gels are quite similar. Anyway, you know, and in terms of the price, it is £12.99 on the expensive side again, but definitely worth it. I'Ll definitely recommend it and also in terms where you can get it from get it from eBay and Amazon and also can check your local hair shop. You should be able to find in there as well. So guys that that is the low down on all 5 products. Erm ..., as I said, if you're looking for products to try out I'd, definitely recommend the 5 products that I've showed you erm .... My hair is always nice and moisturised, because you know I'm using products that really kind of give my hair what it needs so erm, ... yeah. I hope it's going to be useful to somebody that is just starting out on erm ..., their hair journey.
