In this video, I talk about the hair care products that work best for my thick/frizzy/ wavy hair as well as some products that didn’t work for me.

Bye-Bye Parabens, which I mention in the video, is a black-owned beauty brand, so if you’re doing the B.O.M.B challenge or just want to support brands owned women of color, you need to check out this brand.

Here are some new products I've tried lately that I'm really loving:

- Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum

- Giovanni Shine of the Times Finishing Mist

- Pacifica Salty Waves Beach Hair Balm

- Bye Bye Parabens Brilliant Shine Spray

- Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Defrizzer and Heat Protector, and Soft Curls Hair Cream (great for summer and hot climates!).

- Tints of Nature UK hair dyes. These are so nourishing, have amazing coverage and leave a super glossy shine on your hair.

Some additional info I forgot to mention:

Giovanni is considered to be an Eco Chic (c) hair care line, and according to their website: “Giovanni was the first full range salon inspired hair care brand in natural product stores and today is the #1 selling Hair Care line in the United States Natural Products Industry.” I think the brand is perfect for anyone who wants affordable yet luxurious natural products.

Bye-Bye Parabens is a natural hair care line made for natural curly hair, but it works for many hair types. Because of it’s high-quality ingredients and price range, I would call this a luxury hair care brand.

Although both brands are Cruelty-Free, they are not 100% vegan so, check labels if you buy other products that I did not mention here.

Thanks for watching!

Hey everyone welcome back to the Mariel header. My name is Muriel, and today I'm gon na be talking about my favorite haircare products. Now I am a lady that has a lot a lot of hair. It'S thick, it's wavy, it's processed cuz. I do get a little ballet knowledge every once in a while. It'S dry, I have to baby it. I have to almost sing lullabies to it in order to get it to look halfway decent. It has taken me a lot of trial and error to get to the place where I am comfortable sharing my favorite haircare products with you, because they have changed a lot like a lot and it lasts even six months. It started on when I went vegan. I had to look for cruelty, free and vegan alternatives to what I was already using, but even back then I wasn't even happy with what I was using. My scalp tends to get dry, so I thought I was supposed to use dandruff shampoo, but I was supposed to be actually buying hydrating shampoo. So maybe you have also had enough with searching for haircare products. You'Re, tired you're done. You have a lot of hair and you desperately need some advice. Here are my suggestions. This is what I'm currently using what is currently working for me and I'm even going to show you some products that I've just recently decided to stop using. So just a disclaimer. Just because these products didn't work for me doesn't mean that they're not gon na work for you, they probably will. These are really good products, but in the end, you just didn't give me exactly what I wanted. So, let's get into it. So I started by using lush shampoos. Those were too drying for my hair. I tried, I think, four or five different products and they just were not working. They would leave my hair feeling stripped. So I was super sad about that. I couldn't continue using lush shampoos. Then I tried out some random multi free shampoos that I would find at CVS like Paul Mitchell, and I think Maui was another one, but it still was not working. I still had an itchy scalp that, with the changing weather it was flaking. My hairstylist was recommending stuff, but I wasn't comfortable with buying it because I wasn't sure if it was cruelty-free. I discovered it by my parabens on logical harmonies, cruelty-free brand list and looked into it. It is such an amazing brand. It is pretty much meant for natural curly hair, but I said by my parents and parabens and email asking if their products were going to be too heavy for a wavy hair, and they said no, that I should give it a try that they would actually be Very nourishing for my hair, so I was like all into it and I started by buying the shampoo and conditioner that they recommended for my type of hair, which is the texture, Hair Therapy, a shampoo and conditioner. These are almost out. I tried them for several months, but I just wasn't totally in love with it. It was good, but it wasn't great about the products that were great are the essential healing oil treatment, the moisture balance leave-in conditioner and I just got a new product that I'd love to try out for days when I don't want to blow dry my hair or Straighten it or whatever, when I just kind of want to let it air dry and put some product in there, so my waves will be more defined. I got the curl renewal serum, I don't know if this is gon na work for my hair, but I'm gon na try it anyway. I thought you know that have a cream. I thought this would be more like wait. So we'll see how this goes I'll update. You on that, but the essential healing oil treatment. This has done miracles. This has done miracles for my dry scalp and it has really helped to hydrate the ends of my hair cuz. Those are always fried because of the highlights I get so the way I use this is when I am feeling like my scalp is getting itchy, because the weather is just too dry. I just take little drops of the oil and just kind of push them into my scalp. I leave it on like a treatment for an hour. Then I shower. This. Just has a couple of ingredients, so I feel like it's really nourishing like it doesn't have a bunch of fillers or chemicals. Now the leave-in conditioner. This smells so good. I love putting it on after I get out of the shower comb it through my hair. It'S an amazing detangler. It leaves your hair smelling amazing. It just makes it way easier to blow-dry it if you want to blow-dry it one of the latest products that I tried were the Alafia cleansing, coconut shampoo and a nourishing coconut conditioner. I love this packaging. I also got a body wash them. It smells like coconut. China is amazing, recommended for fall. I like these as much as the bye bye parabens, but they weren't. You know I was like. I don't know if I'm crazy, but I know my hair can feel better but didn't feel as silky. I still felt like this left some product like it still left a residue and my hair. It wasn't as easy to style it, and then I found these. Oh, this is the Giovanni 50/50 balance hydrating and calming conditioner, and the 50/50 balance hydrating and clarifying shampoo exactly what I was looking for. You know the scalp of whatever was going on was totally fixed by the essential healing oil treatment, and this shampoo just leaves my hair feeling so clean. It leaves it so shiny. It doesn't feel like any residue is left over. It'S so easy to style it after. I put him put it on it's just it's perfect. I really highly recommend them. I got these at my local sprouts. They'Re super easy to find. I don't have to wait to order them online, so I'm just stoked. I'M gon na keep using these, and if there are any updates, I will let you know there, you have it, those who are my favorite hair care products, the products that I'm currently using and some other products uh. I wasn't too excited about. Let me know in the comments down below if you have tried any of these, if you tried other products by by my parents, that you really recommend write them down below. Thank you so much for watching and don't forget to like subscribe hit. The notification bell share this video. I would really appreciate it. I will see you in the next video and until then, bye
