If you're one of those people who feels that color is going to ruin your hair, i'm here to tell you two things about coloring your hair: i'm not one of those people who plays it safe, whether it comes to life, whether it comes to hair color. As you can see here, i recently got my hair colored, a red or an auburn balayage, and i chose to make it redder than usual, and the reason for that is that it's going to fade away and settle down into a little darker shade of brown. But i'd love the reds anyway. Don'T you think they're gorgeous if you're one of those people who feels that color is going to ruin your hair, i'm here to tell you two things about coloring your hair. The first thing is that yes, coloring does damage your hair. A little bit, but you can restore it back to health, and i say that because i have been coloring my hair for years. In fact, decades together i had premature graying, as you know, i'm almost about more than 50 gray. So i cover my roots almost two and a half to three weeks, because i don't like the gray to show beyond maybe a quarter of an inch and i love balayage. I just love balyard, so i will do a balayage every year year and a half if you've been part of the channel. You know i used to have a little darker balayage and now it's red. The second thing i want to tell you is that hair can be nursed and kept in a way that your hair will stay healthy despite you, coloring your hair and here's the secret to my hair. The first thing is that i'm genetically blessed with reasonably healthy hair, but that comes with a rider. I also went gray in my late 20s, so i don't know if my hair is really healthy or not, but i do know that i take a lot of care for my hair. The second thing i will always oil, my hair, always at least twice, if not thrice a week. I love oil massages. I love what it does to my hair and i can choose any oil. Might i can be choosing the bringer malacca oil from abp because it's made with the real traditional ayurvedic recipes? It'S got all the great herbs or i could also be choosing the tribe concepts 90 day. Miracle oil. This bottle is done um. This is a new bottle. I already have here, as you can see, the oil colors are different and that is the magic of ayurveda right. Every concoction that you make is going to be little different depending on the herbs and the spices that are been put inside. I love this oil. I love the way it smells. I'M one of those people who loves ayurvedic smells a lot of people are allergic to it. I love it so oiling thrice a week. What i do is i get them in the morning. Warm the oil a little bit massage well into my scalp. It is something i spend 30 minutes doing and then go all over the length of my hair. When you oil, your hair or over the length, you make sure that the cuticle is well covered. It'S taken care of, and it also prevents hybrid fatigue in your hair. When you're having a long shower, hydro fatigue, less aggregate fatigue means the cuticle is not going to get damaged so incredibly important to oil. Your hair. The third thing i do is that i always always choose shampoos. That'S going to not strip my hair, but yet clean my hair very well, and for that my choice varies between many many shampoos, but when i've recently got a hair color done, then i will go for the best bellas system. Professional keratin protect lux oil shampoo. This is nearly over and the reason for that is because i've just got a hair color done. My hair is going to be a little more prone to damage. So you know it's like your skin when your skin banner is broken. You take a lot of care to make sure the banana is restored, so for the next two two and a half months, i'm going to be very careful in the kind of products i'm using. So this is a very good shampoo and then slowly once a week or twice a week, i'm going to be reintroducing the daughter, earth rice, water shampoo. I never thought i'm going to love a silicone free shampoo because i color my hair so much. They tend to dry out a lot a lot, but the rice, water, shampoo from daughter earth is brilliant. You can feel the softness the moment you apply it, and this is the first time where i'm put. I have colored my hair, i'm actually going to be using this as part of my hair restoration program along with such a brilliant product cost wise. This is almost 3 600, whereas this is, i think, for 900 rupees. Great value and great protection for hair next comes conditioner conditioners are incredibly important for hair, because what do shampoos do shampoos? Go in and open up the cuticle and remove all the dirt debris and oils their conditioner's job is to go in and seal the cuticle back to ease it back in place and to smoothen it out the more smoothened your cuticle is. The less is going to get entangled with the other cuticles, the less breakage you're going to have the less static you're going to have, and so therefore, less friction you're going to have. Plus your hair will have this nice movement in it. Right. Hair needs to have movement, you should be able to move around and shake around without getting entangled so conditioners ensure that right now, because i'm going to be restoring my hair, i'm going to be using the system professional lux oil can hair mask. This is something i've kept for the time that my hair needs that extra protection, and, along with this i'm going to be using the conditioner from daughter earth, which again i never thought that i would like something with purple, rice and quinoa and no silicones. But again, this conditioner does such a fantastic job, i'm actually quite thrilled that i have a silicone-free product that i'm going to be using in my hair care program, because silicones do you know, get deposit on your hair and the more deposits you have on your hair. It can lead to more breakage and roughness in your hair. These deposits can come from the product, but can also come from your water if it's hard water or from the pollutants there's so many pollutants in the air they can get deposited on your hair, and so a conditioner is incredibly important once in a month. I will always use the neutrogena shampoo to remove the build up from my hair when there's less buildup. Your hair is more softer, it's more pliable, it's more manageable and basically it does. It doesn't become stiff because all the build up makes the hair very stiff, leading it very prone to breakage. So when there's no build up, your hair remains soft and manageable. So i do that as a practice. The last thing in my hair care is always a serum. The serum's job is to go in and seal the cuticle, whether conditioner might have missed it. It'S like a double protection program for your hair and to make sure that your hair is well coated. When there's good coating of the silicones hair serum, your hair tends to move around without friction, doesn't get entangled and remains manageable. My go-to is, of course, the l'oreal serum, very economical, remember, choosing the right, stylist and taking care of your hair 365 days of the year. You can experiment a lot with your hair, much more than what you can experiment with your skin, because hair from here downwards is dead, and if you take care of that properly, it's generally going to keep your hair very safe. There are certain hair types which can't push the hair too much. So if you have very frizzy hair, if you have hair thinning as an issue or if you have very fragile hair, your hair is very high porosity. Then i don't recommend that you push your hair too much, but even in such cases, if you're able to find a good trained stylist, you can actually experiment with a lot of colors. The problem is this: when we go for a hair color, it tends to cost us a lot of money initially, but when we break it down over a year considering your body has been is going to last you for almost a year and a half it doesn't Come to be much, but if you go to a stylist who is not well trained, doesn't know her craft very well, you're going to land up damaging your hair. So technically we don't save money. So yes, a balayage like this will cost you money. But it's going to be in the care of your hair, meaning your hair is not going to get damaged in the process. Let me know if you color your hair, what are your favorite colors and if you really like my color, i almost never air dry. My hair and i believe the air drying can actually damage your cuticle much more because the cuticle needs to expand a lot more and blow drying done rightly, is actually not bad for your hair provided you're using the right temperature you're, making sure that the blow dryer Is at least six to seven inches away from your hair and you're using a heat protective product. For me, i've been raving about this company called k, teen, it's an all-natural hair heat, protectant spray, very economical cost about 500 600 bucks and goes in very very lightly. I just love their products, they're, not very known, but i found them accidentally on amazon and i absolutely love it. It goes on beautifully, really protects your hair, and you know your hair's been protected because it doesn't kind of heat up too much. It doesn't become very stiff, so a great product if you're looking for a heat protectant and it's very, very economical once my hair is styled. The last product that touches my hair is the curl defining spray. Now this is not necessarily meant for just curls whatever styling. I might have done like this, i kind of spray it very lightly. It goes in and holds the curl. Why is this important? It'S important, because one, it holds your style for longer. So therefore, your blow dry lasts for longer, but also makes your hairstyle look neat and keeps the hair well coated and hydrated, so it doesn't kind of entangle too much. It doesn't dry up too much so incredibly important products. Just like your skin. You can repair your skin back from damage. You can cure your skin. You can also do the same with your hair provided you're investing in some good products. Let me know what you feel about hair coloring and about damaging your hair and about the whole lot of noise about you, shouldn't color, your hair. You shouldn't blow dry your hair, i'm here to tell you you can just do it the right way for more on this i'm going to meet you in the comment section.
