Hi, I'm Michele Dietrich connecting with you from pretty snow studio in New York City today. Our beauty subject is how to make an eight strand hair braid. So there are a couple of different ways that you can make an eight strand, hair braid. A braid can consist of tying knots around one Center object as well. It can just mean intertwining all pieces together. So what I've decided to do to show you a quick and easy way? I don't know if you remember making friendship bracelets or if you've ever used the beautiful colorful strings, but it's the same technique. So I like to start with the ponytail, so say you tie and knot at the end of your materials or your threads okay, so that you can part them all off and have actual pieces to play with I've left this last, the eighth strand, I'm going to Part it into two pieces and twist it around itself in order to create the eighth and final piece to our eight strand, hair braid, and since this is the eighth one, I'm going to go ahead and put a little out to this rubber band. You definitely want to use the Occulus ones, because when they get tiny, they can also be very painful paper cut hello, okay as well. I have grabbed a sash that actually goes to a dress, I'm going to incorporate it into our model, Tony's hair, and it will work as the core piece that we're actually going to braid her out. So if you just tie the end again, think of like if you're creating a rope or not this would be cute and then I'm going to kind of take it right in the middle of two separate sides. So four and four and tie it off in okay. So now we have our core piece and because it's a pretty thick material, we can go ahead and start working right and not so take two pieces from one side: braid them over and pull the core piece back into the center. Then you're going to pull the two pieces underneath and take two from the other side and pull them over the center piece and pull the center piece back into the center. Then you're going to take one piece: that's left two top pieces plus one piece from the bottom and pull it over the other side and bring it back. They'Re gon na. Let go take two pieces plus one from the last one: pull it over, pull the center back and just keep repeating that process and then at the end I like to take the end end part and wrap it around and do one more just make it really Pretty really pretty finish a little bit of the boat all right. Well, I hope my tips on eight strand, hair braids, helped you and I hope, you'll join me next time. My name is Michele Detrick thanks. You
