Stitch Braids On 4C Hair| Start To Finish

Girl, this hair is so thick. It'S it's annoying um like when i be trying to put it in the ponytail it'd, be especially after i wash it or wet it. It'S ridiculous girl don't be putting it in no wet ponytails. That'S how i was going to break, but it has grown a lot since i've seen it. So let me try this in the game, then take care of it, though, even though, what's up y'all my house, it's real ratchet today we on a card table chair, but they had like a church sermon or something going on at the salon. So i had to slide in here at home. She has a newborn, oh you can't even see so what you've been doing to your hair um, not much. I haven't even been able to really get to it during the day, but i've been trying to still put in like conditioner every other day. Definitely so guys, i'm going to blow dry her hair out, and just so i can get the best um stitch braids on her that i can because, as y'all can see, her hair is thick okay, so we're gon na blow dry this out. First, oh sorry, this is the only boring thing is we have to watch this nothingness. It looks like coffee right. Oh yeah can't even throw no music, oh my god. Okay now at least he's not scared of the blow dryer. Is he scared of it? Okay, i don't know what type of blow dryer come. This is, but this ain't gon na do it. For me, i was trying to use this one y'all. You know how the packs come with multiple ones, but this ain't it it's not doing. It'S not doing what i needed to do so. Let me find okay, this is the one i'm gon na use. It'S missing a couple teeth! That'S how you know it works man, no, for real. Whenever you see them, pull out a blow dryer with like three teeth. You know it works. I don't even have all my tools here, because all my stuff is at the salon. So, oh not with the blow dryer breaking okay, this even found better yeah. Oh no, the plug keeps popping out. I'M like what the heck i'm gon na have to unplug all this stuff. It'S a mess. Y'All haven't done, hair in my house in so long that this is like love you that dog is so friendly compared to cash yeah. We got cash neuter and he's he's freaking worse. No. The last time i did was with you, and i can't even remember what that was so that was years ago, how like when was that? That'S probably i mean if it's yeah, that's probably a job. That'S usually a a huge part of the problem, but also if it's just dry and you're, not keeping it moisturizing only keeping it in a ponytail, because i know you yes, and that could also be why too so but too bad. I used to hate when my clients um like showed up without it like washed and all of that, but then i just started to realize. Like not, everybody knows how to properly take care of their hair. Yep, like you know so, instead of like chastising them and being like, why didn't you do this like? I just do it for him like, and if i need to charge extra, i will man, but it's like i just like. I just realized that, from like talking to my clients, especially people who have like thicker hair, like yo hair girl, a lot of them are just like it's too much for me to handle or like they weren't taught like properly when they were younger. So they just really struggle you know, and so um cash leave him alone. Please i told you they'd be fighting. Look at him he's a crazy chihuahua at least he's playing like is he playing cause? He'D be growling, no he's playing. The moisturizer is nc jackie's, quince, moisture, leave-in, conditioner dang alicia alicia alicia alika alisaya, whatever it is you on it honestly y'all. I was gon na. Do this off camera, but sometimes it's like i'll stretch, my client's, hair off camera or like blow dry it and prep. It and then y'all be like her. Hair is not 4c, so i wanted y'all to see it in, like it's state state, so y'all could be like yeah and actually this blow dryer this okay. So this blow dryer is like a backup, backup, backup like i'm at home, and i got to just blow dry, my own hair. I would never use this in the salon, but i don't like i don't do hair in my house anymore y'all. So i literally don't have no none of my tools here, nothing so this is. I have to use this. Otherwise, if i have my no, if i have my yellow bird, this would have been done period. Is he on a good sleep schedule yeah? He sleeps basically through the night. I know you'd be happy huh yeah, but when he does wake up, he takes forever to go back to sleep. He takes a minute yeah. Oh he ain't like one of those give him a bottle. Babies, yeah and he knows he'll be up okay, but my other son just got his um his big boy bed, so he's been sleeping in there now because he would take oh yeah. That'S good girl because people be struggling, getting their kids out to sleep with themselves. At once, yeah i kind of just had to put him in there and then i close the door and then after he falls asleep, then i reopen it and then, if he wants to come in my room in the middle of the night, he can, if he Wants to that's what's up, but he's he slept in there all night last night and didn't come until the morning. I would use both of them. But again it's at the salon, so you said i'm moving to spain soon, that's so exciting! Is there a place where i can book an appointment or are walking's available? But honestly, i would probably use instant control um just because it's really thick and it has a good hold um. But we just don't have to see what i have in my my cabinet. I do have a cabinet of hair stuff, but it's not like the typical stuff i braid with, so we don't have to get creative, but one thing i did want to tell y'all is it's not always about the products? You use it's more about the technique. I feel like, if you have like a technique down, you can pretty much like you could do it or achieve it with any product, so focus more on the techniques that you're using versus like the products. But i know that it's not the same with edges, but i'm just saying period in general. It keeps coming out because you got two more sections on all of them. This is gon na make it easier for me, so you want them to play sports yeah. I think definitely he's definitely going to play sports football huh or something about throwing everything well, who y'all i'm on my last section, how's, shannon money doing they're doing good. I did a celebrity interview last week i i interviewed spice tea, trying to get panda on my panel next, though period. I added more for length and tucking her ends in so depending on like how the braid is building up um, i'm not gon na put hella hair in it because i know y'all are gon na. Ask me how many pieces, but i just go based off of like how the braid is forming and i could kind of feel it because i've been doing hair for so long um. So i kind of just know. But if your clients are super thick, you don't want to add too much hair in because well, i personally, like my feedings, to have more of a natural look, um and also um, if you put it like, if you keep adding in hella hair, your braids are Just going to be like kind of thick and dooky looking, and i don't like that, they don't they come apart, more easily um stand up. I don't think they come apart more easily. It'S just like a different type of look. I mean some people like it, but i just been liking it to have more of a natural look because i feel like you could see the stitches more okay. I need you to sit this way. I just stepped on something. We got one right here: yeah how's it like the best way in terms of like finding what products work for you just trying different things out: um yeah, but you need to check your porosity. I can help you with that yeah um, because you don't want to do heck of trial and error. You know yeah if we really figure out um i'll. Do this little hair quiz with you that i have at the salon um. We could do it next time. I do here and then you figure out what products to use, but sometimes you do have to try different stuff out, but at least like knowing that you'll know what products and you know yeah, because i have like a really good flat ironer at one time. No so i was like well, let me just try it on some straight back stitch braid and i wanted to try the little boho buns, so we just put it together and made it a thing and it turned out cute yeah and the color too.
