Last year, the wonderful people of ProActive sent me a goody box full of ProActive and Wen hair care products. The ProActive worked wonders for my skin! However the Wen...working with Wen was a different experience itself. I kept the footage to myself because I felt it wasnt a great representation for how Wen was supposed to work with curly hair. Now, instead of keeping this footage to myself, I see it as, perhaps if the people of Wen saw how their products worked for my hair, they might create something richer for kinky hair like mine.

So last year I received some goodies from Proactiv. I loved it, but I also got some goodies from when I have very coarse or C natural hair and depending on how you use it, you can either have a hit or a miss. I was very happy to receive the win and proactive in the mail and I didn't want to leave a bad review now. I love the cleansing cream, but for straightening my 4c hair. I think it might be just a little bit too light, because I tried these products on three different occasions on my natural 4c hair and the results were think I might win. I gosh. How do I put this? I think they need something a little bit heavier for people with 4c, really coarse, african-american hair, because normally, when I straighten my hair, it's not it doesn't have that much volume to it and, like I said, I never wanted to be a bad review, which is why I didn't upload this footage, but it's taking up a lot of space in my hard drive and I thought I'd just yeah. I thought I'd just share my results from using win to straighten my curly hair. So I'll just call this honest feedback. I love the cleansing cream, but they need something a lot heavier if I'm gon na straighten my hair with it, no matter what I did. This was my final outcome with straightening products from wind, but I did notice. I had a lot more luck when I wanted to wear my hair and a twist out so when it would be pretty good for that. My hair is a holy hot mess and normally I use stuff - that's like around the kitchen, or maybe even splurge, at the cosmos store and get something a little different, but I want something more high-end on my hair, this time, looking for a different result, normally I'll Use like a heavy gel or, like I said something around the kitchen to do my hair, but I'm gon na use something completely different, cuz right now, my hair is a holy hot mess ain't it I mean look at, it is bushy and look here. I just want to address my ends, one time in this time. Only before I started on YouTube, I kept my hair and weaves, and before I do my weave, I would use a keratin treatment and after the keratin treatment I weighed about two days and then I put my weave back in, and that was my rotation. So after my keratin treatment this time, I was only in extensions for about maybe two month increments, but normally my leave stays in for a really long time. So then, when I take it out, my kink is back to normal, but I can maintain my hair and grooming, my hair, doing all sorts of stuff. I can say besides installing my weave, this has been the most hands-on. I'Ve ever been with my hair like ever because most the time is who your hair condition your hair, deep condition. Your hair put a lead back in I'm gon na use win, and first I'm going to start off with the cleansing conditioner. Now this doesn't have any sulfates in it, so it's not gon na suds up, which is the awesome part, but what's interesting is they want you to use ten to sixteen pumps for short hair? So I'm gon na split that up loonies half for the first cleansing and then the other half for the second cleansing and what's so awesome about this one is that I can use it as a leave-in conditioner. So I'm gon na use this for my LOC method to leave-in conditioner my cream and then my oil. So the cream is a sweet almond, mint, anti frizz, styling cream and then the oh is a straightening smoothing gloss. Okay, this spray bottle is called a flare sauce. Sprayer I'll leave a link to my Amazon store in the description, so you can pick up your own. It gives you just the right amount of mist without anything being too heavy or causing drips in your hair, because it leaves a really fine mist through a continuous cleanse. My hair twice with eight pumps of the cleansing cream, then rinse it out. My hair feels really soft very clean without all the lather. Alright, I told you I do keratin on my hair, get off my tail about it before the cream, I'm going to use the sweet almond, mint, anti frizz, styling cream. I'M next for my oil is the straightening smoothing gloss. Once I applied the cream and the smoothing gloss in my hair, I brushed it through sections of my hair detangled and twist using flat twist all the way around, and I secured the flat twist with perm rods. Use the wind styling paste as a styling aid for my twist, which is great because it's really light and it has a firm but natural hold to it. Out of everything I used, I absolutely love the wind cleansing cream it and left my hair, so soft, okay, so my hair is all twisted with the wind defining pace. I'Ve never twisted my hair with the pace, but there's something about it that I think it's going to come out really. Nice, maybe because I've never seen my hair twisted with the pace before paste, they're known to like have a nice cold and adds definition of defining paste definition stuff. So I'm gon na let my hair dry and then we'll twist up he's my baby lives. Voltaire to dry my hair at this day - I just didn't - have time for overnight. So once you blow dried, your hair hot turn, the cold setting on yes twist. My hair is so freakin soft right now. This is insane, so soft feels really smooth and silky, but I still have my texture. If anything, I got from this project with this collaboration with Wynn, is that the cleansing cream leaves your hair, incredibly soft and incredibly smooth to the point where, if you have very curly coily 4c hair, you can run your fingers through your hair into your scalp. Out of the entire line, I think I enjoyed the cleansing cream and I enjoyed the pace the best just for wearing my hair curly or in twist outs or a roller set, but not necessarily for wearing my hair, smooth or straight. Like look at that definition, that is so pretty. I love everything about this. My hair feels super soft and I love the definition in the twist. I love how they they're not so like stronghold, but even how soft it is. It still has a lot of memory. I want to touch it too much. It looks so pretty my god here. You see that it looks like my hair's natural pattern is like in a zig zag versus it was just forced in that position with a really strong gel. If I pick this out like it just looks like my hair grows this way, so this was actually my second time using it. I recorded the exact same twist out and the same outfit the night before I had a little bit of a hard time with it, but once I got the swing of how to use when it came out really pretty just so you know it's real. I mean this is footage from the night before when I first discovered how define the twist outs were from using the wind paste over using like a gel or a heavy cream. The end result was really light, very fluffy really defined and I'm a fan of that and the country

deLaDB: Please, please be careful with Wen. It causes severe hair loss that may continue even after you stop using it.

Jay Dickens: I'm not surprised that the shampoo was light. Wen products boast being extremely moisturizing for the hair. If I were trying to straighten my hair, I would go for a clarifying shampoo instead. Otherwise, this was a pretty good video

Stormy Gomez: I like it.... I see no problem....
