Little Brown Girl 4C Hair Care: Cross Braiding

Hey guys do-do-do-do the rebut, it is a snow day today, so I feel like it's the perfect day to do a little brown girl for see here. Video, the last a few days grace had her hair wash maybe four days ago, she's had a braid down the center of her head and then two braids on either side of the membrane. So what I'm gon na do is take this opportunity to do a different style very similar to this one. But I'm gon na keep this braid here and just touch it up and then I'm gon na do it in one from ear to ear so cause there and then make four large braids going towards the center to make a ponytail and nevermind my hair. I'M stretching it so it's been banded currently with my wash and go so I can have a elongated wash and go for whenever we go back to school. Cuz really the snow is ridiculous. Yeah. I want to see it. Yes, let's go outside, so you can well we're not going outside, but let's look out so that you can see that that's our current situation. So what better day to do hair we've got the fireplace cracking. I just got through finishing a nice hot cup of joe and now we're about to sit down and do hair, so imma freshen up that Center braids make it just a little bit straighter and then I'm gon na go in with that other braids going across and Guys stop laughing at me cuz. I feel you laughing at my hair right now, stop laughing alright guys, so I have that middle braid done, and so now I am parting for the side. Braid working through that now. Some things that you're going to need is a a rat tail comb to do this also you're gon na need. This is just my edge control. I also use my HD and I can put some information in the description box for you to get that, but that's just like a shea butter blend and this because her hair is dry, it hurts her when I part through it. So this is just a mixture of water, grapeseed oil um see what else is in this vut eegah oil - I don't know, have you if you've ever heard of that, but that's pretty dope a little bit of glycerin and some rose water. So that's what's in here! So that's not whatever it says this is pure shea, even though pure shea is all of that. That'S not what's in here. I'Ve actually used all of that, so that is to moisten my hair just a little bit, so it doesn't hurt so much when I part alright. So if you've never crossed a braid over another braid, this is pretty much how you do it so I started right there at the ear I've just braid it up and now I have the hair in my hand, and I'm just going to continue to braid. Until I get to the other side and then I just start picking up hair, Thank You grace and then, as I make it across the braid, I just keep going and I'll continue this all the way down until I meet the other ear, alright guys. So now I have both braids going across turning her head into four quadrants one, two, three four! So now I'm just gon na take those these puffs out, I'm gon na hydrate them with a little water and then I'm a follow behind that with my shea butter concoction and then I'm gon na put a little edge control down here and then I'm just gon Na go ahead and braid each one of them up to the middle alright, so we just got a hydrate, follow the steps that I've already laid out. Take that has a bunch of hair in it. That'S kind of disgusting all right, so we're gon na rub that together, you wait. Okay, wait until we're done, recording this little piece hydrate! That section then I'm gon na take my stuff my. What does this stuff come edge control? Alright! So now we're just gon na brush the hair towards the center so that the edge control lays right and then I'm just gon na grab section boom. Every time I come around my hands, I scoop another piece of hair, so I'm gon na go towards the middle braid towards the center of her head. Just like this, alright we're almost towards the end of this braid. Once we get okay, so the benefit of doing it straight. Having stretched hair. Is that there's more definition on the braid and it's a lot easier to braid the hair than it is when it's wet it's it's a little bit more shrunken just a little bit more work. So there's this one and now we're just gon na repeat this process over her entire head. Alright. So this is what it looks like when it's done she has beads put on it. Okay, now get up and turn around, so I can see you from the front and Ted out. Would you hit down a little bit yeah she's down on her Elsa dress, going cuz she's still Elsa cute alright. So what I was looking for him but couldn't find was my be that I that I would put on this like Center braid right here. So I'm insert a picture, so you can get those at any of your local, like hair stores it still like black hair products there and or you could get those little kind of clip thingies that you put along your brain.
