Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. I just want to give you guys a quick update on how I've been using the hair grease, and is it still benefiting my hair. So in that first video that I posted about the hair grease, I did get a lot of feedback from you guys. Thank you. So much and a lot of people were skeptical about it like they were like. Ok, it's working for you now and to make sure he looks amazing now, but what about the long-term you know, will it continue to work for you? Will it break your hair off, etc, etc? So what i've been doing? I'Ve just been paying really close attention to my hair and making sure that i take notes of anything that I see that's out of the ordinary or anything that would have a negative impact on the overall health of my hair. So in that video, if you haven't seen it yet I'll, leave it on the screen and also in the description box, I did express how happy I was with the results from using the blue magic hair grease, and I did mention that you know back in the Day my mom used a blue magic and she also used to use Dax on my hair, so y'all know I had to go out and get the DAX hair grease this hair grease. As soon as I saw it, I just got flashbacks of my. You know childhood and it's amazing how music, how products? How smells you know what I mean things that you see can just take you back to years and years ago to memories that you didn't remember until you know. So when I saw this, I was just oh. My god and so um it still smells like my childhood. It smells like my childhood, like I can't but yeah whatever so um. I picked it back stuff and I've been using this as well, and I have no complaints at the same at the blue, magic hair. Grease this is just bomb, you know what I mean so alright, so here are a couple of pros all right. So since starting the you know, hair grease applications in my hair, I have noticed my hair is stronger. It retains moisture for a lot longer. Okay, my hair is fuller. It'S thicker my braids out Styles, my twists, our styles do last longer than when I am use other products alright. Now I'm not saying that the hair grease is the sole reason why my hair is thicker or it's healthier, no um. I think it's also because I've been taking care of my hair. So since starting my youtube channel, you guys motivate me. Alright, I'm not gon na first, we all go through moments of like you know, I'm not gon na touch. My hair is dry right now, it's brittle right now, but guess what it's going to stop one a week and call it a day all right. But ever since I started my YouTube channel and getting feedback from you guys, I'm like motivated, be motivated to take care of my hair and to make sure that it's in its best state so that I can come to you and let you know what I've been Doing so that maybe it'll work for you, okay, so I think the combination of me taking care of my hair, making sure that it's moisturized making sure that I did condition. I think all of that, combined with the hair grease, helps my hair to be in its best state. So is it all it's all because of the hair grease? I don't think so. No, i realistically, I don't think so. It has to do with me taking care of my hair me applying treatments to my hair when it's needed. Okay. So all of these things do play a factor and I don't want to say such success of my hair journey because I'm not there yet. But I see a lot of improvement in my hair alone: okay and also my scalp. The only kind that I can think of honestly is that I can't stretch my wash days as long as I used to okay so prior to me, using hair grease. I used to wash my hair, I used to try to wash it every week. You know that would be nice but honestly, listen. It didn't always happened that way. I was trying to stretch it like a week and a half to two weeks. Okay, sometimes you know every yeah, you no idea what cya to go beyond the two weeks and but depending on what my schedule was like. I cannot that's the only kind I can sync up with the calories. I cannot do that with hair grease. So if I use hair grease in my regiment for that week, I will definitely have to wash my hair by the end of the week. Okay, because it is a thicker product, it has a scent to it and then all that in your hair, I recommend you going beyond a week without washing your hair anyway from me anyway. So that's the only kind. I guess right now with using the hickories. I haven't experienced, some people did say: the hair grease causes their scalp to itch. I have not experienced some itchy scalp yeah and just let you know guys Henry she's, not the only product that I'm using to style my hair. So what I've been doing is also. I'M alternating my products, so I don't want my hair to become too a custom or to use to something where the product stops working. I don't think the hippies would stop working, but because I like to change things up a little bit and I get bored sometimes I do like to go back and forth and include other products. Okay, so sometimes I'll go in with the tea roots. Butter curl. As my styling product every once tomorrow, sometimes after I wash my hair, I will stop my hair with the hair grease and then midweek when it's time not even mid, because this does last for longer than midweek. So I said days, four or five I'll go in with the tea roots styling product to stop my hair day, five, four or five, depending on how my hair is doing, but you do not have to change it up if you like your hair regimen to be Simple and easy, and let's go then I'd, say hair grease will be all that you need and also what I've been doing is in addition to the hair grease, sometimes I'll moisturize. I spritz my hair with water and then still that you know moisture in with the hair grease other times I'll use a moisturizer that I have in the house like lighter body or any other motion arising product. I have in the house I'll use that and then seal it with the hair grease. The reason why I love the hair grease so much is because I can skip a step, so you should leave with other products right. I would apply the moisturizer burning oil to seal it and then a styling product, but with the hair greets. What I'm finding is all I have to do is moisturize my hair and then apply the hair, grease or hair grease seals. The moisture and also it stops. My hair, it keeps the holes that I need for whatever style. I'M doing so that's another pro of using the hair pieces that I get to skip my stuff. A lot of you sent me feedback and saying yes, your hair has been responding greatly to the hair grease and I'm hoping that it will continue to respond to the hair grease. But just remember it's not all about the product a lot of times it's about what you're doing, to maintain your hair, to make sure that it's healthy to make sure that it's at its best state to make sure that is thriving. You know I mean so: let's not depend so much on products, alright, let's just make sure that we're doing the best that we can to keep up with our hair regimen, because let me tell you that every day your hair doesn't care about your excuses. Alright, you're, tired, you got things to do your mom, your dis, your dad, you got a career, you got a husband, you got this and that you got a boyfriend, your haircuts, not care. It will break. It will break off all right, so try to find time make it as simple as possible so that it's not you're not reading taking care of your hair okay. So what I'm finding is that sometimes less is more less is better, sometimes, okay, so that's all folks! I just wanted to give you a quick update on my hair grease and what I've been doing and what's been working for me. Thank you so much for tuning in as usual. Please don't forget to share like and subscribe. If you have any questions or comments, please leave you down in the comment section and I'll be sure to get back to you until next time. Bye,

ABI'S CHOICE REMEDY: I love Dax so much! I have been using this for over 25 years! TFS

GrowWithNiki Gaga: nothing beats hair grease, i love Dax and Blue magic.

TinaMoni: IT' ALL BECAUSE OF THE HAIR GREASE!!! It's a moisturizer and protects the hair. You go gurl! Petroleum is a natural substance and can be used for many things. Could be why Dax, Palmers, Sulfer 8, Blue Magic, Original Murray n Vasaline is still being sold on the market in stores. Did someone say Alcohol? Mmm Any who my Nana n Grandma n Mother n Myself used those productsn Dax best thing is that you only need one to accomplish what todays multihair products do like shine, thickness, softness, retain moisture, keep the curl, strength, length, rapid growth etc. When I do use a line of products, because not just one will do the job, I find I go back to the original OG's above. My generation of women has long strong thick healthy shiny hair ALL 4C type n it reaches our buttocks this from the old school product total of 1 jar "priceless" And our hair maintains the shine, curl n moisture for days n days with no crunch.... go figure. Makes me wonder what exactly is in the other products that are said to be all natural I use, because within 24-72hrs I loose shine, moisture, n get the crunch feeling in my hair because it's dry or drying out. Things that make me go mmmmmm.... I've tried many n lots of other products but nothing works like Dax n them above. Enough Said! Just Sayin!

Mesha Messenger: Sitting on the front porch inbetween my momma's knees in Detroit. Smelling Royal Crown, Blue Magic, Sulfur 8 etc., takes me back as well. Our moms used these long term back then, and nothing bad EVER happened. Why all of a sudden do we have to be so 'careful' to see long term effects of it? We ALREADY used it long term. I got the greatest press out last week when I put grease on---my hair will stay straight much longer than when I use all these natural hair products with glycerin and stuff that just poofs my hair out all the time---leading to matting, tangles, knots etc. so glad I went back to my grease.

Kathryn Rivera: Afro Latina here and I’ll tell y’all Tres Flores is super cheap like only 3 bucks and is GREAT in keeping moisture in. A little goes a long way and it smells amazing. ☺️

buzzard eggs: Thanks for this video! I have returned to hair grease and I am viewing every hair grease video in stock! I can’t speak for any other hair type, but type 4 naturals must NOT come into agreement with “no hair grease propaganda”. Don’t get on that BULLOLOGY with the anti-grease herd. Be a trailblazer and have some long, beautiful hair. If it doesn’t work for you on your scalp, don’t sleep on using it as a sealant. I bought anti-frizz products when all I needed to do was use hair grease as a sealant (water, leave-in conditioner and HAIR GREASE). It doesn’t matter about the brand. If you are financially strapped, then go to the Dollar Tree and get whatever is in stock-even Vaseline.

Nadine Modé: Water, Dax and styling for a week for school. This is the way my mom took care of my hair and my sister. Back in the day, we didn't have all the products for our natural hair, but our hair was healthy and growing. I still use Dax and blue magic , but mostly Dax and my hair love it. Moisture for week. Love your hair

Nette Love: Dax is amazing, I only use it in the winter months, because I wear my hair straight. My straight hair last for three weeks. I don't put in on my scalp, I just apply it to my hair. It's the best thing that I ever went back to. My hair is mid back length, thick, healthy and beautiful. I will never stop using grease again, my hair loves it.

Nicole Stewart: I'm from Jamaica and my mom been using dax on my hair since I was 7 years old and trust me it works wonders for my hair. Right now I'm transitioning back to natural hair!! Wish me luck

ohitsmiss kirs: Totally agree! It's crazy how small things like a smell can take u all the way back hehehe flashbacks all the time

Yetstill: Started using DAX a few weeks ago and grateful for less steps! I even blow dried and I am grateful! DAX is everything to me right now! I wash and condition with Paul Mitchell as well as us their leave-in! Less is more love! I was experiencing breakage and I see less now! Much love and thank you for the information!

krystal diamond: Everyone that doubt the wonderful effects of hair grease, please go look at those old soul train video's from the 60' and 70's look at how beautiful and thick their hair is on those videos. They wasn't using curly pudding and all this other stuff they used hair grease. Our elders knew what they was doing, i went back to hair grease 3 years ago and honnneyyyy my hair is thicker and healthier and the breakage has stopped. I had to think back to my childhood all my mom used was hair grease and my hair was thick long and healthy. let's not forget what was taught to us by our elders concerning our hair. hair grease has always been a friend to black hair. K! your hair looks GREAT WALDIA!!! LOVE PEACE AND HAIR GREASE Y'ALL!!!

Life with Dee Dee: I have to use blue magic in my hair. My hair does not respond to oils no matter which ones or how much I use. Blue magic is excellent in my hair

Deneil Solomon: Amen, this was refreshing. Grew up with that green Dax and my hair was always great. Only when I got older and stopped doing what my mother used to do for me did my hair start breaking! Chopped in January and my hair has since gained a lot of length. So glad this product is working for you! And oof, your hair is so resplendent. Giving me inspiration~.

Never Complicated: Dax took me back to my childhood when my mom would pop me with that comb when I wouldn't keep my head still. Y'all know what I'm talking about!

Learn Twi with Efia BAE: True. It's not all about the product but about all the things we do. I definitely need to get back on track with my hair care regime.

Faith Filled Journey: That is great you are really trying to keep your hair at its best state! Your getting there girl... speak it into existence! More washing is the only problem.., sounds like something I would recommend. Great tips and info ! #sisterhood

sharj: Looking gorgeous . I’ve been using kinky curly and Dax , two banded pigtails. I slap a wig on when I want to look different. I’ve already noticed a difference.... my scalp use to be on in three to four days. Now that I’m back to Dax my scalp doesn’t itch or get inflammation, I’ve had to just say okay it’s time to wash my hair but not because it’s itchy

Alaina C.: i have 4c hair and it was always so hard and crunchy. I had a hard time retaining moisture too. because my hair was so try i often had the worst split ends and had to trim occasionally. When i thought back to my childhood, i didn't remember my hair being this dry before, my mom always use to use dax on it, so i decided to go the the store and purchase some dax to see if i'd have better results with it. I can honestly say, this stuff is the holy grail for my hair. I still follow the loc method, but i use the dax as a sealant and avoid using it on my scalp and its been really amazing for my hair. My ends don't split as often as it use too.

Downtown on 7th Avenue Handbag Adventures: Wow. Dax. Girl. You taking me back. I will admit I can hug you right now for the blue magic. I had issues with my ends and I have seen huge improvement in that area. I don’t use a lot of hair grease I just focus on the ends so I don’t have to wash so often. You know me. I’ll see if CVS has it and I can use my extra bucks . Great video as always. I’m chatty today

Jenny Bravo: I watched your videos, then I bought some Blue Magic & I've had the best twist out ever in my 5 years being natural! I agree though I can't stretch my washes but at least my hair isn't always a frizz ball after trying to do a twist out or braid out! I've had so much compliments!

MISS ARRTY: Thanks for the update. Seriously your first grease video helped me so much. There are so many products and so many methods and for someone like me who doesn't know how to do hair and gets overwhelmed. Limiting my hair products to water, a leave in, and grease has renewed my hair efforts. Since I can calm down about which products to use, I can use the rest of my effort into find the best methods for my hair. Thank you so much for that!

PisceanBeaúte LivyLiv: It's great you talked about this because I use oils and hair grease but I notice the hair grease works better for my hair growth and moisture. It just depends on the person. Thanks for the feedback. Your hair is beautiful.

Nijah J: True, I remember sitting down in front of my mom in the kitchen and getting my hair braided. I haven't used Dax but I do use Blue Magic especially on my scalp. Right now I have a twa...true your hair does need tlc and doesn't care about your schedule or how busy you are. I am keeping things really simple right now and so far so good, I get a lot of compliments! Also amen @ the scripture in the beginning!

Vasty A.: i can go two weeks without washing blue magic out. i reapply 5 days after wash day, then another 5 days later i reapply. its okay to go beyond a week, my hair is still thriving, and besides if you think about it, sebum is what keeps hair from breaking , and sebum is an oil. so there is no need to reapply water with another washday , it goes through the grease after a couple days so thats the opportunity for remoisturizing and reapplying.

Nohelia Matias: I love Dax!! I bought the bergamot one as well today. And I relate to using it as a child, my mom would also use pink lotion as well.

Rambling Kai: Love this video! I’m sitting next to a jar of DAX as we speak.

DNVlogsLife TV: Thanks for the information. Yeah, with grease, there is a greater potential for product build up

lori clax: Awesome tips and I love watching your videos because you get right to the point and you keep me entertained. Keep up the great work Queen & Happy New Year!!

Neecy Watson: When I smell Afro Sheen it takes me back to the 70's lolI use hair grease in my hair too.

Julia O'Connor: I grew up on the green DAX also. That's what was used to use the hot comb and press my hair. I plan to go back to that. I am too through with all of these products I've wasted money on.

Aditi Tandon: Never tried hair grease. Looks like a great option!

GorJess Days: Your hair looks so pretty!!!! My fine tresses would never be able to use hair grease but I’m always happy when I learn new things that may benefit my daughter... great video!!

Kay's Ways: You stay coming through with the throwbacks. Definitely brings back those childhood memories for sure. Great pros and cons, do you find that the grease weighs your hair down?

Shauna Moore-Brown: Yes it works.. I use the coconut oil hair conditioner...been using it for years and I can honestly say it works.. I don't use it on my scalp but I use it on the shaft of my hair..crazy right ..lol..I even did a video about it

Mariah Francois: Omg I asked my mum what's Dax it's what my grandma used ,her hair is so long Saw a old pick of her when she was 16 big afro hair , beautiful

FeeFee 86: Royal crown hair grease takes me back to my childhood memories and it has olive oil in it!!!

Sasha King: lmao! girl it's so funny because I was literally just watching your video on hair grease yesterday. XD but you have me convinced! i'm about to head over to the store and pick up some!!

Frugal Boujee Mama: I remember blue magic and dax never used dad though back in the day. Grease is too heavy but maybe I'll give it another try maybe like once a week or so. How often do you use it?

veetch_: When styling your hair with grease is the main styles you can only do braid outs and twist outs? Is it movable where you can do maybe buns or something? I’m concerned about how pliable my hair will be when I go back to grease lol

Idreamofjazzz: Wow I haven't seen dax in years! I was telling my dad i needed to get some green blue magic lol
