Melissia wants to know how often to use it essential oils on her hair also, she notices that it dries fast but smells good. When would be a good time to use it for her hair.

Hair Tip #1 Essential Oils are Predominantly Used for Messaging the Body

The original usage of essential oils has always been for therapeutic reasons but this is not the limits of these oils! Essential oils are very potent, highly volatile and and multi purposed. These truly are healing oils because they can nourish and heal the body on the inside and the outside.

Hair Tip #2 Essential Oil is also used for Hair Growth, Restoration, and also Dandruff and Dry Scalp

Peppermint essential oil stimulates blood flow rather than stimulating the dermal papilla (which is where the growth happens). Sage, Rosemary and Lavender Essential Oils are responsible for stimulating the dermal papilla which strengthens but more importantly stimulates hair growth that many desire an increase of! Below are a list of essential oils you can use for hair growth.

Peppermint Essential Oil (stimulates blood flow) http://goo.gl/nGNDLi

Sage Essential Oil (not recommended while pregnant/nursing) http://goo.gl/WYq4Se

Lavender Essential Oil (kills fungus that stunts hair growth) http://goo.gl/XUb3Kq

Rosemary Essential Oil (stimulates the most hair growth) http://goo.gl/5GuwN7

Hair Tip #3 Incorporate It Into your Hair Regimen or just Apply Topically When Needed

This can be done daily but you have to MAKE SURE that you mixture of essential oils couple with carrier oil(s) aren’t too strong for your skin! Essential oils can irritate many individuals in small doses so you have to make sure that you patch test a small area of you scalp to see if you have a positive or negative result from applying these oils. Per ounce of carrier oil I suggest 3-5 drops total of any essential oil of choice. Below are lists of carrier oils that will work beautifully with your essential oils.

Hello, everyone. This is Breanna Rutter, author of one of my most popular books, the natural hair Bible and founder of howtoblackhair.com. For these videos. I love to answer the questions that you are send me via email. So you have any questions that you would like for me to answer check out the description box below for more information. So this video is dedicated to an email I received from Melissa. Melissa says that she likes to use peppermint essential oils in her hair, but she is having an issue because it dries from her hair too quickly or dries out too fast from her hair and even though smelled nice. She isn't sure, if she's putting it on right or using it in the right manner for what she needs so Melissa, I'm going to give you some tips and I'm going to tell you little bit more about essential oils and how you can use it to help. You with your hair, so first off essential oils, wasn't really the major thing that you would use to actually apply just to your scalp. It was used more to do a lot of body massage and things like that. So you think of aromatherapy, you think of body massages with essential oils. You are thinking of oils being used as fragrances for your home or for special rooms, and things like that for to offer services and to increase your mood. That'S usually what essential oils are used for now. They are also used for hair and there have been many different civilizations and people of different kinds practicing the use of essential oils in different ways. Some people use it to treat certain different types of skin conditions. Some people use essential oils just to grow their hair longer. Some people actually use essential oils to even clear up acne tea tree oil was a great oil for drying out zits and things like that. But on the topic of hair, you want to use essential oils that are going to increase your hair growth, such as Sage, essential oil. You want to use rosemary, essential and lavender essential oil. Those are the three Kings of essential oils when it comes to growing your hair. Now, a great anti-inflammatory, essential oil to use if you're, trying to fix issues with dandruff and dry scalp, and things like that is to use lemon essential oil is to use also a tea tree, essential oil. Those two are great oils to help you to recover from dandruff and dry scalp. So I'm not sure what you're trying to use peppermint essential oil for what peppermint essential oil does. Is it helps you to increase the blood flow to your scalp, so when you're using those minty types of oils, is giving you that tingle sensation, because it's drawing more blood up to your actual scalp, to deliver more nutrients to your hair? So if you want to use those types of oils for that type of feeling, and also to help you to increase blood flow to your scalp, you want to use peppermint, essential oil and even spearmint essential oil as well so essential. So I have given you so many different types of essential oils you can use for so many different types of situations. I hope this video has helped you and on well. A major thing that I want to say before I go is that, in order to use essential oil properly, you have to diluted. You have to the dilute essential oils with a carrier oil so that it doesn't burn when you apply them, because essential oils are a very strong and potent and in order to use it safely, I suggest that you use about 3 to 5, drops collectively of whatever Essential is like 3 to 5 drops only to apply to about an ounce of oil and that's about a tablespoon or a little more oil. Then a tablespoon oil. Now that's the type of mixture or potency that I will suggest you start off with and then apply to your hair and scalp and see how it is for you, if you like, as little bit to strong, then put fewer drops of oil in it. To give you the desired effect that you would like, so you want to learn more information on I've covered. This and tons of different videos go to my website to search for what you need to check out more. But I hope this helps, and I hope that this also have those of you who are also watching as well before any of you go make sure to sign up for my email list so that you can be automatically entered into giveaways.
