We all have different moisturizing and moisture retention methods in the winter. These efforts should not necessarily be increased, but consistent. The harsh weather conditions in the winter can be unforgivable, so skip in a wash day or not properly. Moisturizing. Your hair can quickly lead to breakage. So here's what I do and what I suggest if you normally wash and condition your hair bi-weekly in the winter months, you can increase it to once a week or if you already wash and condition your hair once a week, try doing a herbal hot oil treatment. Instead, or for those of you who are already on top of your cleansing and moisturizing game, make sure to stay consistent and not skip a day as simple as that,

Denise Oates: It like you talking personally to me because I did in a previous comment say that my breakage is coming from not doing the wash day thing. Seeing on the calendar made me realize that I need to actually schedule my hair care time and maybe it will help me get it in.
ms. Eve Gene: I don't see it in 2022 1/2 to not pay attention to our hair as Black women. I baby my hair because it's my baby but I also just take of it like I do my breath, clean nails, teeth, make sure my elbows aren't dry.... I'm mean come on Sistas!
