How I Dyed My 4C Hair Ginger/Copper | Tutorial

Hey guys, what's good Instagram back with another video excuse, my voice. I'Ve been sick for like three days like I feel better, but my voices and like gotten back to normal yet and I'm still like, I still have the stuffy nose and stuff. So that's why I sound like this, but as you can tell the title, oh my gosh, I'm so excited as you can tell by the title in today's video and dying my hair. Ginger scared. I'M scared only because I don't want my hair to fall out, but I've done Ginger. I'Ve done the ginger wig before and it looked amazing. I'Ve never done anything major to my appearance. Ever in my life, except like my piercing but like that's, not really that doesn't count so I'm gon na dye, my hair and it's gon na turn out amazing. So I went to the beauty supply store today and I'm going to show you guys later what I got right now, I'm gon na go um wash my hair because I think I'm supposed to wash my hair before bleaching it yeah, I'm bleaching it I'm bleaching it. Okay, I'm bleaching it because one I want the color to come out brighter than it actually would. If I did it like black and two, I'm tired of my I'm trying my hair, I'm tired of my hair and I feel like if I bleach it it'll loosen my curl pattern. A little bit so like it'll make it more easier for me to handle. So that's the plan, I'm gon na bleach it and then I'm gon na dye it and then we're gon na move on from there. So without further Ado, let's get into this video don't forget to like comment, share and subscribe and yeah okay, so um! I just got a shower and came back downstairs, but this is the bag. I got from BSW, you can guess what's inside, so I'm going to show you guys anything that I got um. I don't know if I should call this a tutorial, because I've never actually done this before, because I'm just doing this from watching other people - and I don't trust um salons anymore with my hair. So I'm doing this with myself, but this is the thing. Okay, let me let me do a mini haul. I'M gon na do a mini haul. Okay. So this is the first thing that I got it's the hair coloring kit. It has seven pieces as you can you it's like a mini bag. Actually so that's the first thing and I got shower caps like bleach, I got bleach, I got three bottles of a door number 38 in the sunrise, Orange a door number 30 and ginger, and another 38 and sunrise Orange, like in the beauty supply store. This is the color that matched my weight the most and that's the color that I'm going for I'm going to insert a picture or something so you guys can see what a mat would actually mean but yeah. So this is the one that matched my weight. The most so I got two bottles of that, and then this one to mix with it just like you know, give it some spice. Some gloves, got ta, be protected 30 developer and a 10 developer 10 for my roots and 30 for the rest of my hair. That was what I've heard on YouTube. I don't know how much of my fact this is. All I heard is your roots are most sensitive, so I'm using 10 I'm gon na, like when I put the bleach in I'm gon na use 30 for my hair, because you're spool you're actually supposed to you, know bleach the bottom part of your hair first and Then go back for your roots, so when I do my bottom hair, I'm going to be doing this and then my roots in that. So that's everything um! I'M really scared. I'M gon na change my shirt because you know I don't want to get this dirty. I kind of like this top but yeah, so I'm gon na change my shirt and then we're gon na start 30 developer in Bleach. It'S gon na look good. It'S gon na look good! Okay, gon na look good, pour six level scoops of bw2 into a non-metallic plasma plastic bowl mixed with one of the following clear, professional developers. This is not claro, but it's okay, so this is what it's looking like right now, if you guys can see that okay, so um, I searched it up and it said wet like or damp hair is ideal to make it lighter. So we're actually doing this we're at okay to relax. Okay, you guys actually like some of you guys actually don't understand, like the Milestone that I'm actually hitting right now, because I have never touched my hair, like this, I'm literally so protective of my hair, because it took me so long to get it healthy and long. At the same time, it's like doing this. This is scaring me because it could set me back, but then again it's like it's. Okay, foreign, okay, you've done it! There'S no going back! There is no going don't do your roots: okay, wow, wow, wow, there's, kids! Actually, bleaching right here: wow, okay, okay, so um yeah. So I'm kind of freaking out right now and I feel like it's gon na. Take me longer, so I'm gon na, like you know, put it on time lapse so um. I like had my hair in four sections, as you like, as you saw in the beginning. So this is the section that I started with this one right here and I don't even know what color that is, but that's the back of my head and then I did this one and then this one and then this one. So this is the last one. Um, I'm scared, like I don't want to leave the bleach in too long before I like start burning my hair off, so I'm gon na like go right away and uh use a tender. Oh my gosh. No one talks about how this bridge stinks in the smell and okay anyways um. So I'm gon na go with the um 10 developer and bleach my roots and stuff, and then I'm gon na put the cap on for 20 minutes and then take it off and wash it off, because I don't want this thing to stay in too long. Like I'm scared for my hair, I'm actually scared, so I'm gon na wash the rest of this off and restart with the 10 developer and then yeah foreign. But my hair is kind of burning right now and I'm kind of scared, so I'm gon na wash it all like right now, like I don't care, some parts are yellow and some parts are black. It'S okay! I don't care. I just need to get this bleach on my hair because I don't want it to fall out. I'M actually so scared right now. Thank you, foreign, so I kind of um I re-bleached it because The Roots wasn't dark enough, like I got too scared and I took out the bleach too early, so my roots didn't get as light as I needed them to so I had to re-bleach it a Second time and this side of my hair as well is still a bit dark. I know because I'm I'm too scared to leave it in for too long, so I just took it out and I'm not bleaching it for a third time, but this is what I look like right now: foreign okay guys. So this is what my hair is looking like. I'M kind of scared - maybe I shouldn't have done my whole head. I don't know like I'm kind of scared and I used the whole bottle of these two sunrise Orange and well yeah, sunrise Orange and then this one. I only used half the bottles for bread for reference for references like if you want to dye your hair. You see your hair is as long as as thick as mine. You just need two and a half bottles of those but yeah. So this is what it looks like right now, I'm just I'm actually kind of scared, like I feel like it's gon na, be like an orange instead of a ginger and like okay, you know what it's okay, so I'm gon na um put it in a cap For 15 minutes and then wash it out and then I'm gon na show you guys the finished result. Pattern is looser and I actually like look at my curls bro like actually take a look like. I really hope you guys can see it that I'm showing it look at look at my curl pattern. Look at my curl pattern. Bro, like tell me that, doesn't look delicious but yeah so like I'm gon na love having my natural hair out now, because it's so much more easier to you know handle it foreign. This is my hair and like it's finally styled I've been like um. What day is it today's the 21st and I dyed it on the 13th, so it's been like 20, like it's been eight days since I dyed it. So it's like a week in a day since I dyed it and I was waiting a little bit because um I wanted to feel more confident in my hair. I wanted to, like you know, feel like myself again before um. I posted the like final result, like you know before I finished off the video and the reason why I said that is because when I first dyed it, I wasn't really feeling it because, like I had bleached my hair and like my scalp was just looking so White, but now, like my hair, is growing back. My scalp is back to normal and stuff, and it looks so good, like my hair, just looks so good so now, like I'm, recording it and um when I bleached it. I put my hair in two strand twists and I usually do that for when I want to like um moisturize my hair and like not touch my hair for like a week and or a week and a half, so I always put it into transparent. So I could just like just take it out and just go like if I need to style it or something I would just like wet it with water, and I would just open my day. So I just did that and then the video that you guys seen it was from two days after I think two days after I had dyed it, and the second video was from um two days ago, and I'm also gon na insert a video of today. When I first got my twist foreign basically, I had used um gel to Define My Curls a little bit but yeah. This is what it looks like. This is the side. This is the other side, but yeah so um. You could probably like tell from the first couple clamps of my hair, like one side of my hair is lighter than the other, and that's because I didn't leave the bleach on this side. Long enough then, like as long as I was supposed to so this side of my hair is lighter and this side is darker and I think I kind of like it that way because um, I don't know like I really don't know like I wouldn't have mine. If, if my whole head was the same color but like the it being, this color doesn't bother me type of thing like this side matches my inspo, like the wig that I was looking at more than this side, but it's like this has also like a darker Kind of Ginger kind of thing, but yeah, so this is um. This is what it looks like it actually kind of looks red a little bit, probably because of my LED lights hold on. Let me turn them off. You can see what it actually looks like, but okay, so this is what it actually looks like I'm I I don't know if I'm gon na post this video before I record myself in the sun with my hair, but if I do I'm gon na insert it, But this is what it looks like in the lighting yeah. So this is the hair and I just want to stay. I I just want to say if you're, a black girl - and you want to you're thinking about dyeing your hair Ginger go dye. Your hair Ginger bro like go. You will not regret it at first. I was like iffy about it, but now bro, I don't think I'm doing braids or thing for like. I don't think I'm I'm. I don't think I'm doing anything to my hair for a while, because, like I just need to be obsessed with my hair for a little bit but yeah.
