Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful, so basically what happened was. I was going through social media. I saw a thing what that thing was was a straightener that was made of ice. It'S a really bad way of explaining it. But it's this it's a freezing, cold piece of ice. That looks like a straightener that you use to straighten your hair, but it doesn't actually straighten your hair, but it actually makes your hair healthier. It looks like a fun little thing to try, so i'm gon na get my hair with it today. Hopefully my hair doesn't freeze off my head or something and snap or hopefully my hair becomes healthier, but me and you we're gon na find out together. Oh okay, let's see, what's in the box, there's nothing in the box. It is in the freezer. I did prepare a little bit for this. I found the directions. This is what it came with, so this has been in the freezer for like overnight it is so cold, i'm just i'm just being dramatic. It'S actually not that cold and it's a straightener. It also came with the spray that you had to put in the fridge, so i put in the fridge. Let me figure out what this does: okay, okay, it says to wash and condition my hair and use this on wet hair, so it says the more you use it, the better use it as many times as you can in a few weeks, and that's basically it Okay, even to further my knowledge, i'm gon na watch their tutorial on how to do it properly, because today i usually don't give a about directions. I want to use this right. I want my hair to feel good. Okay. The aim of this video is to show what inverse can do by only using it on one half of the head see that's a good idea, i'll use it on one half of my head today. That way, we can actually see the difference home section and lightly spray ice mist on both sides of the dry hair run your frozen device over the section you have just misted until the hair feels cool to the touch, one side will feel silky, soft and smooth And the other dry and gritty the inverse side will have beautiful shine while the other is dull and flat. The more you use inverse the better it gets, i'm not getting it. My brain isn't working today, let's see what it says on the website. The fiber itself changes locking in moisture, improving strength and elasticity within the hair. As a result, you get healthy, soft, shiny, natural gorgeous hair and your color lasts twice as long. Oh, i don't know moisture is the foundation of healthy, more manageable hair. It'S supposed to lock in the moisture more because it's cold, why does it matter if it's cold, like i just looked up what happens when you freeze your hair? It says it becomes less pliable and more vulnerable to breakage what happens to your hair freezes. Our hair is porous, so it easily absorbs and holds water since water expands when it freezes all those expanding water molecules, stress and stretch your hair cells to their limits. I mean we're, obviously we're not freezing the hair, we're making it colder right, like you're, not literally putting your hair with water in a freezer and freezing it. So i don't think it's that extreme. It'S not gon na break my hair off and obviously we all know that, like if you use cold water after your shower, like it makes your hair shinier very little bit more shiny. I don't know i don't really ever tell people to do that, because i think it's a little kind of dumb be honest with you. It'S supposed to like make your hair colder. I won't get it. I just feel like once your hair warms up, isn't the moisture. Just gon na be gone again. I actually want to tell you guys how much this thing costs, because i think it's expensive. I got the kit which is 124, so hopefully it does something 124 big ones: baby. Okay, i'm gon na go wash my hair, because that is what's recommended and to condition and i'll be back to try the inverse shout out. The inverse thing is back in the freezer. Okay, i'm doing this all correctly because today is about following directions: the hair has been washed and the instructions are very unclear to me, because the tutorial that i watched online said to compare your hair side by side, one side with the inverse thing and one side Without but my hair is wet and then this card says it recommends to start from wet, but how does my hair dry and then i thought that spray thing was to put on dry hair because my hair is already wet. I don't know what's going on. Do i dry my hair after with a blow dryer, but that doesn't make any sense, because it's going to heat my hair up, i feel like i have to dry my hair first. Why would i use it on my wet hair? Oh, i don't know this is so confusing. Okay, i watched another tutorial. I know what to do. We do not use the spray if our hair is already wet i'll. Put my hair down the middle. Do the um inverse thing on one side and nothing on the other, then i can blow dry my hair once i'm done with the inverse moment. So let me section my hair and we'll get started. Okay, i'm ready, i'm actually kind of excited. I feel like this. Might do something, or maybe it won't do anything i don't know. I can't really section my hair out so we're gon na like run through the whole thing. I just popped this bad boy in there look at how cold it is. This thing is, i see? Okay, that's gon na go on my hair. Hopefully it doesn't get stuck to me. That sounds like an awful idea and it sounds like it's gon na lead to breakage, but i'm willing to sacrifice my hair for you guys. What about my hair bar? Oh it's stuck! Oh, no, no! No! No! No! No! No! Don'T rip my hair out. They said it might be too cold. So there's my hair on it. Um yep, so we're gon na warm this up with some good old body heat baby. Okay, i mean it's not sticking anymore and my hair is definitely freezing whoa. My hair is so cold wow, so i mean in the winter i should just go outside with freezing wet hair. I'M gon na be honest right now. This feels like it's doing absolutely nothing to my hair. I just am having a hard time getting convinced of this. I am a skeptic and it's still getting stuck to my hair. Oh, that is more hair strands. I don't like the idea that my hair is coming out. I don't have a ton of hair, so if we could like avoid that that'd be amazing, i'm like refreezing it by putting my hair through this thing, i'm just not the front, not the front. No! No! No, no! No! No! No! No, not the front breakage! Please don't clamp down too hard, i'm going over every strand like a hundred times. So don't tell me that i'm not doing enough. They said the more you go over it, the better or something like that. So baby, i'm about to do this a hundred times in a row. It does feel really refreshing, i'm very warm right now. So i'm like i'm getting tired a little bit, so this is gon na lock in my moisture girl. I don't know the only thing. It'S doing is just making my hair cold right now, i'm excited, oh, my god. I just ripped out so many pieces of hair. I don't like it look at my hair in there. I thought this was supposed to make my hair better. I really want to like this product - i'm not even kidding like. I really do, i'm always rooting for small companies and other you know not as well known brands. So i would love if this would work, but i'm still going to give you like an opinion about. If it doesn't and why, maybe it doesn't work or why you know if it doesn't work i'll, let you know, but in a very nice way guys. I just don't think there's any like scientific facts. That back up, if like putting ice on your hair, is real. Like freezing your hair, the only evidence is that it's not good for your hair, so i don't know where we thought like. Maybe it would be great to put ice on her hair. It also says, like the more i use this, the better it works. So maybe i'm not gon na get as like great results. If i just use it once. Okay, that seems like enough going around with this. Should i blow dry my hair now it feels like i did a lot ow you bit. My hair definitely doesn't look any different, not that i was like really expecting it to after freezing it. This is the other side without the cold, this stuff is definitely colder and it's like staying cold, maybe a little bit more. What if i just stuck my head in the freezer, though it seemed like that, would be more efficient all right, let me get this dry. I'M gon na use a low temperature, i'm gon na use, like the you know, least hot setting that way we keep it a little bit on the cooler side and i'm gon na do the same thing on both sides and we'll see what's going on. Okay, here she is: oh, this side is done. This is the inverse side. Does it feel soft? It feels normal. I'M gon na be honest with you. It feels normal, but let's see if my other side comes out a little less soft hello. Should i wear my hair like this from now on hitler? Okay, we are done as you can see. I don't know how to do a middle part. We all are aware, actually is that the middle part hold on. That'S a middle part. Sorry with me, but i know how to do a middle part. It'S usually my weakness in life, but i did it. Okay, let me do the moment. We'Ve all been waiting for. Let me take these babies out and let me feel both sides. This is the side. I did the inverse thing with, and this is the side is just my regular hair visually. Do we see a difference? Let me give you an up close inverse no inverse. That was my phone. Hopefully that's, okay, let's do a little taste test, i'm not tasting it. I'M just oh, i don't know where that goes. Hello, everything's reversed on the camera. I don't know where it goes. Okay, i did it. I'M gon na touch it now wow. I have so much damage right here. All right, i'm gon na be completely honest. It does feel exactly the same on both sides. There is no difference. This is still a little rough. This is where my weak hair is my hair back here feels very soft. I don't know if i'm supposed to feel like a difference right away. Actually, you are because the tutorial, the girl did one side and not the other, and she was like whoa. I'M shook at how different this is, but i'm literally feeling nothing so we're gon na give it the benefit of the doubt and we're gon na try more. I'M gon na use the spray on my dry hair and we're gon na. Do this one more time just to see, if anything more happens, because i am rooting for you inverse, i want to see something happen with my hair. All right, i'm going to spread this stuff on which all it has in it is just water, citric acid, sodium, citrate and fenex phenol. I don't know what those things are, but we'll find out. This feels so wrong. I'D literally just dry, my hair. Now let me do some more of this that went through the hair much easier. I will say it just slides better on my dry hair, but i'm also kind of sad because i just don't know if this is gon na do anything and i want it to do i'm expecting a miracle. Oh, my hair's stuck again come on come on, come on, come on warm you up i'll! Warm you up! Baby! Don'T worry i'll! Get! Oh! No! Stop pulling my hair out, i'm like using like a flat iron. I'M like! Let'S get some curls in there brad! It'S not gon na do anything. I'M just gon na keep doing this until my hair is fully dry again, so i'll be back in 80 hours and i will be freezing my hair until then. I'M gon na do a lot of strokes where my damage is right. Here you know a lot of slow and steady, easy baby strokes going on in there stroking my dudes. This is where i'm gon na really notice like. If it's getting better or not, it does feel a little bit nicer now hold on baby. While my hair is drying, while i'm ironing - let's talk about what is in this product, because um is this: what's making my hair feel a little bit smoother? Let me see so we have water, got it water. We know what water is. I think i think most of us know what that is: citric acid, which helps with the ph of your hair and brings the ph level down, making it smoother and softer and less frizzy. Sodium citrate is another ph balancing thing in cosmetics yeah. It'S gon na make your hair smoother as well, and then we have phenoxyethanol, which is just a preservative that doesn't really matter so this product is supposed to make your hair smoother. Is it this that's making my hair smoother or is it this product? I don't know it's a combination of both allegedly i've been doing this for like 30 minutes, i am putting in the work to make sure we get results here. My hair is dry, i'm ready for round two baby. Let me brush my hair, make it even smoother. Hopefully, and this side, because we're doing even it's even on both - this is the iron side, and this is my natural hair. Without any ironing to me on camera, they look pretty much the same. My hair does feel very bouncy, though. Let me do a little touch and see what's going on: okay, um god, my cuticle is so rough. That'S all i can think about right now, i'm like! Oh, my god. Why is my cuticle so rough, oh yeah, because i bleached my hair a hundred times and it's still somehow on my head, i'm sorry man. It just feels the same, i'm trying to feel some kind of difference, but it's not working. It feels smooth up here on both sides. You know my new growth, my natural hair color. It starts getting rough on these ends and that's pretty much it. Let'S come to some conclusions here about the inverse ice. Straightener. So did it work for me, i didn't notice a huge difference. It did not damage my hair. I did lose a few hair strands here and there it was nothing like crazy. I did research on you know if, using you know, cold water or freezing your hair really makes a big difference, and it can it's not going to like completely change your hair structure from the inside out and make you all of a sudden have beautiful hair. It'S going to temporarily make your hair shinier and look nicer, but i also think you can achieve the same thing with hair products and it's a lot easier to just put hair products in and call it a day. I think this is a cute little like treatment. I wouldn't say like it's the worst thing ever, if you have an extra 137 dollars, spend on this wait, it's actually 124 and you want to um, try something new and maybe it might work for you better than me. Then i say: go for it. It'S an interesting concept. I appreciate the idea, but for me it's gon na be a no. I would not probably use it again. I don't like to spend a ton of time just like straightening, my hair for fun. I'D rather use a product and move on with my life. I wish this did something more. I mean i was really excited for it. I want to see a bigger difference next time i don't know well that was fun freezing my hair. If you guys like check out my hair care line or my hair color line, you can do so with the links right down below or go to xmlhair.com. That'S all for today. Thank you for watching, don't forget to live your extra life and i'll see you next time. Bye!

Adam Clark: If you thought it was called inverse because it's the opposite of hot, it's actually because it's the opposite of a good idea.

Amateur.Nail.Art.1: Gotta love that they charged $124 for something that you could do with lunch box ice packs for $2-$5 from Wal-Mart.

Yours Truly Clee: Everything in this video looks straight out 99’/2000 including the ice iron, I love it. I’m binging your videos over the last couple of days and I’ve stumbled upon some good advice for my curls. Thank you!

Chastity Howell: Only Brad would be willing to tell us we’re beautiful and then have his hair ripped out by this product to show us if it actually works. Brad, you’re too good for this world.

Serenidee hope: You should try the straightener that uses cryotherapy or cold fusion. I've seen it on the ulta website and it looks cool. It's meant to do what the product in this video claims to do. So I'd be very interested in seeing you try that hair tool!

Marta _: I come from a cold country and hairdressers has always been recommending me to actually wear a hat to keep my hair healthy, because the freezing air is also damaging for the hair just like very hot air. So this straightener kind of didn't make sense for me from the beginning haha

KenzieHurlock: The hair sticking to it makes perfect sense. It's the same idea as young tongue sticking to ice. Wet things stick to ice.

Lindsey Shindler: I went snorkeling in Iceland in winter, wearing full drysuits. When we got out and waddled to the van, our bodies froze COMPLETELY solid, and our hair froze into solid braidcicles. It was bonkers. Our tears froze on our cheeks. The water was so clear and the snow drifts looked like white sand dunes in Florida, but cooooold.

La Sphynge: I live in Canada, if exposing hair to freezing temperatures magically made it healthier or better looking, I think we'd have found out by now lol

Jess Linds: My curly hair could absolutely never. She doesn’t tolerate anything other than kindness and encouraging words haha

Sarah Smith: During chemo, I used a cold cap. Literally froze my scalp and it helped keep most of my hair, but it was definitely damaged after. But still thankful for that! I don't see how this would do anything good for your hair!

Mary Motch: I swam through college and grew up in the Midwest, and during the winter on the cold days my hair would absolutely freeze walking to my car. I wouldn’t say it made my hair healthier… I was always told the exact opposite…. But you know it never broke off or anything. But I didn’t notice that it was shinier

Moriah Sallaz: As a fellow hairdresser, I feel like this would work better on dry hair. Heat opens the cuticle, creating uneven hair strands, frizz and dullness, whereas the cold is going to seal the cuticle, reducing frizz and increasing shine. I think it's a wonderful idea but needs work on the instructions and explaining the purpose of the product

December Rude: When you did the close up it actually looked like the inverse side ended up a little roughed up actually. Which I mean… it was yanking your hair out so that’s expected but I think it’s probably safe to say this was a bust lol. Thank you for being the mannequin so the rest of us can learn without acting

A. Kenneth: I feel like this is about as close as we’re ever going to get to a “What is this piece of sh!t—h3ll no!” from Brad, as he’s too polite.

Sarah Davis: I just want a 5 minute video of brad looking into our eyes and feeling his own hair

D-Averroes: From someone who regrets wasting $99 (not including shipping cost) on the inerverse hair system, used it for weeks and understands it completely, here's a $10 better alternative that doesn't damage your hair, helps low porosity hair dry faster, very slightly helps tame dry or frizzy hair and does wonders for the face: 1- Get the 'IKEA Sockerkaka Pink Silicone Baking Moulds' or some similar baking mold for probably around $10 max, 2- add water to the mold and let it freeze completely and 3- After a shower press and brush your wet hair, against your head or the skin of your non-dominant hand, using the ice block, that's held in place by the plastic baking mold gripped by your dominant hand.

amy mattaliano: Brad, your hair feels and looks great because of the high-quality products you use and knowing how to treat it right. These gimmicky products are the ones we're going to see you doing videos of in 10 years

Abigale Churaman: Brad, your hair looks so cute parted and clipped! You truly can rock anything. I love it! and your videos. I love you.

Trina: I brought the Inverse system when they first launched years ago and tried it for a couple of months and it didn't do anything to help my hair and I have so much hair break off or get pulled out by this product. I returned it after the ice packs started leaking. Also if I remember rightly the spray smelt like vinegar and felt horrible in my hair. Felt like it was a waste of time and money so glad I did get my money back as it was faulty.

Ida Remsu: this product sounds awful. if you don't cover up your hair under a beanie or hoodie during the winter time here in lapland, it's most definitely gonna have some damage and breakage and I can't think of this product to be any different from those freezing degrees! thank you brad for showing us all these crazy products and saving hairs <3

ILostTheGame: Brad quietly feeling his hair and staring into the void is quite hypnotizing :`)

Delusions of Psychosis: I'm so glad I came across this video. I giggled so much. Your energy always lifts my spirit. Thank you for being you brad!

Janelle Lewis: Brad, I just went through a break up and watching your videos right now really lifts my spirits. Your personality and positivity and sarcasm haha, is wonderful and bright! Thank you for your videos!

Jajx Hsbc: Brad finally using his own hair :,) Taking one for the team.

Ignasi Colominas: I love the commitment Brad And also how optimistic you were throughout the entire video

MissWonderland: "Shampoo and condition hair" "One side will feel dry and gritty.." WHAT CONDITIONER MAKES YOUR HAIR FEEL DRY AND GRITTY???!!!

Katie G: I just watched Alex (french guy cooking) making beef wellington where he refrigerated the beef before baking it in the pastry crust so that the bake wasn't cooking the meat so much as it was warming it up and I have to wonder if that's the same principle behind this "iron". If you cool the hair before blow drying or heat styling it then maybe it doesn't fry as bad? Just a theory to try to explain wtf is going on here

Gelilah YoungSun: I love how brad's growing his hair out. Keep it up

AW: This is hilarious to me because in elementary school I’d soak my hair in ice water and pretend it was some ultimate spa treatment.

Carmen Carlton: The reason we have gray hair stylist to keep our hair looking great people like you are what we depend on not these things that are a joke

Tbone Malone: I don’t know who thought freezing hair would be a great idea. This just seems ridiculous to me. You really gave this a good chance. Good on you Brad Mondo! ❤️

Ts s: This seems like a bad idea. I live in Canada and frozen hair is a regular occurrence for just about everyone. I don't think we have better hair.

EnchanTrisS: I just saw a cryo brush at Ulta today. It blows extremely cold air into your hair. I was curious about that. This though, Brad I give you props… that thing looks painful

BreadsDead: I can't be the only one who is obsessed with Brad's current anime boy hairstyle. like imagine if it was snow white platinum???? I would simply pass away.

SiWorld: Hey Brad. I've been watching you for years now and I love your content, personality, and skill. I find it hard to relate to most videos as when I first started watching you, I had locks, and now I've cut them off and have an afro. Could you incorporate more curly/kinky hair tool use/bleaching/hair dyeing videos where you are administering? I've noticed you've incorporated Black hair into a lot of the hair dresser reacts videos and I really appreciate that :). A dream of mine is to have you do my hair one day :).

Ericka Laura: This reminds me of how silky and smooth my hair is on cold days vs. hot humid days in the summer when my hair is frizzy lol

BwanaLana _: I recently added the step of rinsing my hair with cold water after washing it and have noticed less hair shed. I normally would shed a lot and once I started that it’s half the amount of what it was when I wasn’t rinsing with cold water as a last step.

courtney allison: From not experiencing it myself and just looking at the imaging, the un “ironed” side looks so much healthier (assuming from all the breakage sustained during the wet “ironing.”) such as frizziness, the straightness, etc.

Dori Dobai: I appreciate Brad's honesty, he doesn't try to find a slight diffetence if there's none. I know from experience if you try a new hsi product or tool that makes your hair softer you're gonna notice it right away. When I bought an ionic hairdryer after a very cheap shitty one I felt the difference immediately.

Julianna Williams: I love your attitude and ur honesty hahah It is so refreshing Brad!! I love that you keep it real and continue to be yourself!! Love from Massachusetts!! <3

A Homespun Hobby : Hi Brad, thank you for being you. You really make my day with your personality. Check out Valerie Bertinelli's hair in I'll Take Manhatten here on youtube. I've love what the hair stylist did with it through the mini series. I would love to know what you think and what ideas you have for that style.

indigo moon: First I thought maybe good for humid weather areas, but overall seems like a gimmick. Props to you for a thorough test and review.

Vignesh Nehru: I needed this video, cis I have the same hair length as brad, as you can see in the profile pic, and brad never covers this hair length except this time! So hella happy to see it, now I know how to section and straighten my hair

Aeris My Love: I really appreciate that Brads hair is long enough so that we can see stuff on his hair instead of on ms.mannequin.. like please me growing out your hair it looks so good!!!

Laurel Andrews: reminds me of freezing my tongue to a flag pole when I was a kid … there’s a reason you avoid putting wet objects together in the cold!! Take it from an Alaskan

Renee M Carr: Why do I feel like I've known Brad all of my life? He's like every girl and boy's dream best friend. I could vibe with him for 12 years and not get bored for 1 millisecond. Literally. Not one. Love ya and keep your you pure. oh yeah... that ice block for hair is .. omg stop. Nooooooooooo

Falleaves x: I’m not really into style whether it’s hair, make-up or clothes. But I LOVE your videos because you are so positive, happy and genuine and it makes me feel better ❤️

Pricella Murphy: Considering how hot some flat irons get im always surprised my hair doesn't just catch fire so I understand not trusting the frozen bit. This product seems like a good final touch tool to a deep conditioning treatment to maybe seal in moisture?

Miss Jo's Nail Co.: Ah Brad, whenever I feel a bit crap, your videos always cheer me up. Thanks for trialling this piece of ice so we don't have to!

PS Mauney: Brad taking one for the team…. Oh my gosh! I laughed so hard watching this!!! Thank you for an informative and beyond entertaining review! You made my Friday!!

R89: I’m having to wear a cold cap during chemo to try and prevent my hair from falling out. I have to like soak my hair in conditioner to protect the hair so the cooling is only aimed at the follicles. It’s constant minus 2C water running through the cap for 6/7 hours. Total ice-cream headache. This seems like rubbish

Jha Jha: Can we just admire how adorable Brad looks with his center part

•ShadowEclxpse•: Hey Brad, I’m in high school and last year I was bullied a lot, but after watching your videos it really gave me the power to be a stronger and more confident version of myself and I’m slowly getting better at standing up for myself. And for that I thank you.

Brittany Elizabeth: I truly enjoy watching you . I have wanted to be in cosmetology and watching you and your love for your job has inspired me and I start school in September keep being amazing

Kenzie Andrew's Arm: I think it’s a good idea because after my hot shower, I go over my hair with cold water to close my hair follicles and strengthen my hair

Lilia Sorin: Regarding the explanation you found on Goofle (2:30), as a biologist, I must say that your hair does not have any cells on it. It's the skin on your scalp that contains all the cells. I would say avoid using it directly onto your roots and use it simply on the rest of the hair. The moisture lockup sounds pretty solid but I cannot confirm it since I have never performed these experiments myself and never read about it. Have a good one!

Cooking Caliente: Lol i love that he is still so relatable to the everyday person for realizing not everyone has $150 bucks for a frivolous item hahah

Danielle Williams: I’m a curly/coily girl- and I know I’ve heard to rinse your hair (after shampoo and conditioner) with cool/cold water and it helps seal the cuticle of the hair to lock moisture in. I notice a difference when I do this- but the ice seems really intense and might break your hair because it’s too cold!

Random things art: Videos idea: Do a review on the Dyson air wrap, versus a cheap alternative, and see what the differences, and pros and cons are. See if they’re really worth the money

Wallflower’s World: Love how you tell us what the ingredients are and what they mean

Kathy Lavalle: You are so entertaining! I love your humor. Thank you for sharing with us.

natalie_clk: Brad, your hair looks amazing, PLEASE keep this style!!

Christina Mays: This is what I was told about using cold water: The cold closes your pores so after you moisturize with water, conditioner, or whatever Brad is using, it all get sealed in

Tekie Dodson-Rogers: 0MG! Thanks for losing a bit of hair for us! I’m REALLY “hair-tool mishap prone” I last used my HOT iron straightener, & burned a 2nd degree blister on my finger & a larger blister on my neck……Imagine how many times my hair was screaming “PUT THE FIRE OUT” , due to using a cheap HEAT tool w/ NO way to regulate the HEAT! When I saw this new INVERSE FREEZING TOOL, I figured it was expensive ,but I also assumed it would work! ( Can you get your $ back? I hope so!! ) I love your hair JUST LIKE IT IS! QUICK QUESTION: I have some friends from school days; 3 chose to be hair Stylists. WHY DO THEY DO & OVER-DO their hair til it LOOKS like their hair is SO damaged! Don’t they know their hair is an advertisement for what they can do for their client’s hair??? Your hair is GORGE! I noticed how healthy it looks, when I watched your first Video!! Just curious as to whether you’d sit in a friend’s HAIR-CHAIR IF HIS/ HER hair looked like they had to chase it down a dirt road, just before they piled it up on their heads, & hurried to the mall UNDER IT!?

Jessie Ozborne: The cold will seal down the cuticle. Great for after a silk press or a lightener service cause heat and chemicals will expand the cuticle and we use cold water to shock the cuticle back down.

Lysol MyFace: At first I was like, yeah this might work because my hairdresser once told me that when dealing with flyaways, after bellow drying them down, she rolls a hairspray can over them to cool and set them. Or when blow drying she leaves the hair on the brush for a moment without the hot air to get it to cool a bit and set in that shape. But I feel like you need the hot first and then the cold Is just to set it. Then I thought about the cold water thing, but the idea of placing something ice cold to my hair seems a lot worse than using cold water on my hair. I use cold water because I find it stops my colour from bleeding onto my Clothes and pillow as much, and I have super damaged hair so I’ll do whatever I can to help it. But I don’t think this is it lol.

Najat Ahmed: Translation : This ice iron sucks but if you have money to waste then go ahead and buy it . Thanks brad for telling us about this product because I was going to buy it once

Caitlin Grattan: I use my Inverse every time I wash my hair. I actually really enjoy it! I typically only use it with the spray it came with (which is basically just pure water, not hard water like what comes from the shower tap). But I have noticed over time that it has helped with shine and smoothness over time. DON'T PUT IT ON YOUR HAIR WHEN IT HAS VISIBLE ICE, you can typically just pop it in your freezer for an hour or two.

Amy Benton: Aww, Brad! Thank you so much for trying that product, I feel badly that you lost a few hairs! Thank you for caring so much to show all of us! ❤️

Hi_ imfatty: I think there’s some truth to this, I recently started working in a -30 degree freezer and my hair has NEVER been better. I have curly hair and I’ve never worn I naturally until I started working there. I’m on LOA for a while and I might actually get this to continue to give my hair this cold treatment

Tangerine: I’ve gone outside in -10F degree weather and my hair was slightly damp which results in it freezing into hard clumps until it thaws. It absolutely does NOTHING different than water

Kas: Brad your hair looks so good !! Love this new style :))

Jeisy: With that technique my hair routine it’s going to take 1.5 hour and normally it’s take me 25-30 minutes

doodleartlover: I think it's a gimmicky product, but I really lmao and had a fun time watching this video! BTW Bunny tried this product on her channel a long time ago and it ripped her hair out too LOL! ✌️.

Carolin Mars: Thats interesting, because my hairdresser does Ice-Hair-Treatment and I always thought "I don't know, man..." so I never had the treatment and now I won't ever, not that I would have wanted though

Ashlee: Try the Babyliss cold brush instead, it actually makes your hair feel good without the ripping out your hair part

Addison Buckley: I love that you tested the product on your own hair instead of on Miss Manny Quinn because it shows how much effort you put into your videos. I feel really bad that your hair was coming out because of the product. May the hair gods gift you with a quick hair regrowth.

Alli B: I messaged you about this on Instagram lol. I am SO happy you're finally doing it!

Stellart: I feel like this would be great to give a 7-10 year old if they keep messing with your hair straigthner. Just tell them it's a magical cold straigthner and once they get the technique down they can use the heated one. Keeps them from getting burned

Jessica Mendez: I love watching your videos when I’m not feeling good you make me laugh all the time when. Watching ur videos

Bunnironi: Poor Brad. Went through this pain for us. Thank you !

Cora T: The second it was explained I thought it was bull, I've been showering cold for weeks as our boiler doesn't work and it doesn't look better at all. The only thing you could argue it does is smooth the hair cuticle, which it probably doesn't do. It would be interesting to look at the hair with that microscope, compare a few things like just a warm shower and see what the cuticle looks like, then a cold shower and see what the cuticle looks like and then this thing and see what the cuticle looks like and maybe a couple more, maybe also go through these scenarios with hair that has been bleached/painted vs virgin hair

Zeyzooli crafting: When I had cancer and I would go for my chemo I would put on a icecap for hours. It was a real nightmare! But I didn't go bold! It protected my hair against the chemo.

Ruby Cochran: I love watching him. He makes me laugh so much!!! You need to do you hair like that more often!

Chris McQueen: Your hair has grown out so much. I love it!

tracy h: Love your videos ! You should make a permanent hair color line !!!

LISA B.: $124 for a gel pack in a holder, wow. I've always rinsed my hair with cold water as my final rinse. I like the cold, but it certainly isn't for everybody. All it does is close the hair cuticles, making it appear shiny. I have baby fine naturally blonde hair and it works for me because people constantly ask what I use on my hair to make it so shiny. Now, will it work for everybody, I have no idea, I've been doing it for years. Maybe because I have fine hair, or no color on it, I really don't know.

Pumibel: I know it is not quite the same thing, but I have had my hair frozen before when I couldn't dry it before going out into the winter air. I didn't get any benefit from that. I wonder if this is just a way to seal the cuticle down, like a cold water rinse?

Jenny S.: That’s interesting about the citric acid. My grandmother used to use lemon juice as a rinse over my mother’s, aunt’s and uncle’s hair for shine when they were kids (she also used to tie their hair up in rags, resulting in beautiful spiral curls). I’ve seen pictures and they did, indeed, have beautiful hair. I think they knew more in the olden days, yet kept it simple.

Sammie Bendo: I really loved this review. I liked how skeptic you were in the beginning 10/10 thank you for freezing your hair Brad

Michelle idontwantto: Thank you for trying this and letting us know. We appreciate your sacrifice

Makaylah Castelow: I just wanna say how cute and bubbly you are. Every time I watch your videos I’m so pleasantly surprised by how sweet, funny, and knowledgeable you are. Purrr queen

Sarah Cruz-Williams: As someone of color I’ve seen similar ideas used a lot of different hair textures and hair densities as a way to keep hair a little more manageable and healthy. I’m no expert at all! Just speaking from personal experience and those around me that have done the same. We don’t freeze our hair but instead after taking a hot/warm shower and washing our hair and conditioning we rinse the conditioner with colder water to close the hair follicles (locking in moisture). Is this true idk does it work maybe but I think this tool is a gimmick just run your hair under some cooler water and call it a day

Maddie Stephens: The tone of this whole video…all of it, . I feel like this was more Full Brad, like irl, hanging out with Brad, more than his videos normally are. Omg. Dying, what a beautiful person. Thanks Brad!

Brittany Ratchford: I laughed throughout this whole video. Your so funny. Thank you

Zoe ZooBearBiotch: This look for some reason rebound me of those s club 7 days. Totally a nice look on you Brad …just like every other look you’ve done❤️

lastname Venus: I somewhat understand the concept because I've heard that with my low porosity hair I should do all shampoo and conditioning with warm/hot what to ensure that my pores open up and then wash out conditioner with cool water to trap the moisture in Maybe it's working off of that line of thinking and that's why you're supposed to wash and condition your hair first but also the instructions are lacking...

Allyson Woodal: I almost spit my water out, you are so funny! Love you xoxo

ThornedEmbers: Just have to say, I love your natural looks like this, you're looking hella cute!
