How To: Flexi Rod Set | Natural Hair

In this video I show you how I get these bouncy soft curls using no heat. Flexi rods are a easy way to achieve beautiful curls on all hair types..
Perfect style for work, date, party, and more! also this is a great style if you have heat damage or transitioning out relaxed hair!
**If you fail your first time trying.. try again! It took me a few times to figure it out when I first did flexi rods.. follow all the directions and you should be able to get it!**
products used:
Carols Daughter Pracaxi Nectar Style Gel
Flexi Rods
Denman Brush
Wide Tooth Comb

In this style I used 20 flexi rods. Let them dry over night. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the process! which ever you prefer. With this style I preserved my curls by putting them into two pineapples and then wrapped my hair in a silk scarf.. check out below on other ways to preserve your curls.

Oh alright, let's get started on that flex: red tip. First, I'm going to be applying my styling product into my hair, I'm going to be using Carol's daughter's new prakasha nectar, styling gel and then after I apply that to my hair. I'M going to roll my hair onto the rod, so I tucked my ends under and then I'm going to roll and twist roll and twist the rod until I get to my root and then I'm going to secure it in place by folding the rods until it's Nice and not too tight but tight enough to hold the rod in place, you're going to repeat that process to the rest of your hair. Just remember: tuck your ends in nice and smoothly, then roll in twist and secure the rod, nice and snug you so remember. When you are taking down your rods, or at least before you do make sure your hair is completely dry, that is a major key. So now that we taken down the rods, we are going to separate each one of those sections to add some body and volume to this look you're done separating and you want some more volume grab a hair pick or wide tooth comb like I'm using and fluff At your roots, so you don't want to brush all the way through your style, but just right at the roots to add some extra volume and there's the final look.
