Curl Clumps! How I Get My Curly / Wavy Hair To Clump Easily

In this video I show my version of curl clumping. This is one of the most important parts of my styling routine!

In this video I only use gel. If your hair is very dry or if your gel doesn’t contain humectants (isn’t moisturizing) you should try leave-in OR curl cream with your gel.

What'S going on guys, curly susie here from cape breton nova, scotia in today's quick video, i promise it's going to be a quick one. I'M going to show you guys exactly the technique that i use to get my hair to clump. This works for wavy uh to curly hair. It is really simple and i clump my hair without using a ton of products and without using a brush. I do it in the shower, so this might be a little bit different than some of the videos that you've seen again. It'S super simple and it has been working for me like solid for a long time. This video does not need a big intro and it's not going to be a long, video um, but i just have to say before i get started, i'm having a good hair day today, um. This is exactly the way i like my hair to look. It is not perfect, i don't have like precision definition, but i have a little bit of volume. My hair looks shiny, it looks healthy, i think it looks awesome. I can't wait to pick my son up from school because then all the other parents are going to see me and they're going to think. Oh, my god so step one i guess is just to either wash and condition your hair or conditioner wash your hair. So, whether you're going to wash your hair with shampoo and then condition it or you're, just going to wet and restyle your hair with conditioner or wash your hair with conditioner or whatever you're going to do. All of that is the exact same. So don't change anything about the way you are already cleansing and conditioning your hair. The clumping step happens when you rinse the conditioner out of your hair, so i can put the conditioner in my hair and i rake my fingertips through my hair and that's important to detangle your hair, and i actually, after that, i scrunch the conditioner into my hair. You will have a lot of people on youtube, saying that there's no, basically there's no scientific theory or evidence that back up, you know scrunching conditioner up into your hair uh. They say it's not gon na make your hair any curlier or really make a difference. But i've always done that and i find it really works for me. So i will continue to do that. I just scrunch the conditioner into my hair and then when i go to rinse my hair um, i place my hair strategically in front of my face so that i don't have to tip my head all the way upside down, and i let the water run gently Over my hair and use my fingertips to create the clumps so once the clumps are formed um, i am left with my head kind of tipped forward and water running and dripping from my hair. So then, what i do is i take the palms of my hands in the shower and i kind of squeeze a little bit of the water out of my hair so that i don't dilute my gel too too much. And then i keep my head in this position and i use my gel and using the praying hands technique. I smooth that gel down over the curl clumps, not disturbing the curl clumps, but just smoothing the gel over them in the shape that they kind of fell in after the water ran through my hair. And then i will take some more gel on my hands and i'll kind of put some at the back of my hair in the top of my head. Just in case i missed it once i have all of the clumps um with the gel smoothed over them. I cup the clumps in my hands and i squeeze them up towards my roots and what this does is. It helps mix the water and the gel together, and i get some product distributed rate at the top section of my hair um, and this works really really well for me, when i get out of the shower, i sort of repeat that, in order to begin the Drying process, so i will take um just a regular cotton t-shirt or a microfiber towel, and i will scoop my clumps up and squeeze the excess water out of them. Now, when i'm going through the diffusing process, i do hover the hair dryer. So i'm not like raking my fingers through my hair or anything like that. As my hair starts to dry, my clumps naturally start to separate so, for example, i did not rake my fingers through my hair at all for this style, and if you look at my hair when it's wet versus my hair now you notice that there's a lot More smaller groups of clumps than there were when i styled my hair, and that is just because my hair is going to curl in the direction that it naturally curls or wave in the natural direction that it wants to wave when it's dry. So, even without breaking them up myself, my clumps kind of split up a little bit and form clumps with all of the hairs that are in the exact same pattern that they're in so that is exactly how i style my hair when i'm diffusing it. I am somebody who you know. I do touch my hair a little bit when i'm diffusing it so even when it's dry it they're not in the perfect clumps um. I also don't use enough gel that you're getting a cast, but if you are somebody who really has a lot of frizz and you like to use the gel cast technique, then when your hair is dry like this, it's very likely you have more product in it And it's a little bit hard and crispy and you can just take the microfiber towel again: um and scrunch, some of that cast out of your hair and that's going to work as well. The only place that i kind of rough up, my hair, a little bit is, i will take my fingertips and my roots, and do this a little tiny bit or i will part the back of my hair in the opposite direction of my fringe. Just to like give me - oh that's too much, but just to give me a little bit more height up here and a little bit more volume um and then the only part of my hair that i really manipulate as it's styling or after it styles. Is this fringe area of my hair, and you guys ask me about this all the time? How do i get this part of my hair um to clump the way it does and it's kind of hard to show on camera, because i'm constantly constantly twisting it around? My finger the whole thing um and then, when my hair is fully dry, i separate it a little tiny bit and full disclosure um. I would say, like a week ago i was styling my hair and i wasn't twisting this part of my hair around my finger. Constantly to get this kind of like juicy looking clump in the front and i clipped my hair up to create some volume and what happened was i pulled these pieces kind of straight and they dried like really horribly. So i went through my whole styling process. My hair looked awesome that day and then this part of my hair looked awful um and it just kind of ruined the rest of my hair. The whole look of the the rest of my hair, so you kind of have two options there. You can pin it back and hide it or i should say three options. You can pin it back and hide it. You could like spray it with a spray bottle or re-wet it with water. You can twist it up and pin it with a bobby pin and blow dry it so that you get like a little pin. Curl um or you can do what i did, which is. I have a really old crappy, styling wand um, and i just heated it up a little bit. I just wrapped that one section around the wand to give me a little bit of definition in the front and uh. I don't mind doing that at all. As long as i'm not doing it all the time and i'm not creating like a routine, where i'm constantly heat damaging my hair, then i will do that in a pinch. If i'm in a rush and the front of my hair looks bad, but really what i do to get, that definition is i'm always, as my hair is drawing wrapping this section around my finger and then when it's dried, i split it up a little bit. I hope you guys like this video. I hope it was a little bit helpful. The only reason i never made a video about curl, clumping or anything like that before is because i feel like some of the things that i do are so simple, that they're almost not worth making a video about um and when i went on youtube and looked Up other things that people were doing to clump their hair, i mean they just had different tools and were using like ever an array of different products, and i felt like this would be a little bit boring. But i think that some of you benefit from me. Just being honest and telling you guys that i don't really try a whole lot of new products and i try to do things as simply as possible. So if you like this video, you can give it a thumbs up. If you didn't like this, video um, don't feel bad. It'S your opinion. You can give me a big old thumbs down subscribe to my channel and i'll see you very soon in my next video bye. You

Cristina DeVriend: I’ve watched A LOT of curly hair videos to learn how to take care of my hair in the past year. You are one of the few people who is the most practical which I love. Most influencers use and promote expensive hair products that are just not practical when you’re on a budget. I really appreciate your focus on affordable products, helpful info, and techniques. It allows me to do something good for myself. And, spend my money on important things like therapy for my special needs child. Thank you so much and I look forward to more videos.

Sharon Lamarche: Love your honesty. At 70 I decided to embrace my wavy, curly hair and no more dying my hair. You have been very helpful.

Tracy: I’ve been learning how to manage my baby 2A waves for about 18 months now and am finally learning that simple is what works best for my hair. One reason I was making it so complicated was because that’s what so many wavy/curly videos show. So simple videos like this are necessary! I’ve learned so much from you Susie, even though we have very different curl types, thank you!

ShyLa Ann: I love the part when you say all the other parents are going to see your curls when you go to pick up your son and they will be like “Oh my Gawd!!!” ❤️

Mother Coconuts: The simplest techniques are often the most overlooked! Half the reason I went CGM was because I hate styling my hair. I don’t have the patience to twirl a denman brush through every curl clump three times over

rk6246viv: Love that your techniques are so simple and straight forward...absolutely worthy of a video. Don’t stop making them☺️

Melissa Kessler: Love your content! I always recommend your videos to people who don’t know where to start with the curly girl method, because of your no-nonsense approach and east to follow application techniques.

ofHismercy: Your hair is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this, Susie. I will share this with my lovely daughter who has curly wavy hair, and unfortunately for her, a mom who has straight hair and zero help for her. I really appreciate these precise instructions and the fact that you can get this look without $380 worth of product!

Dee!: I had to come back after watching this to tell you I’m having the best hair I’ve had this winter thanks to these tips! I don’t have any kids to pick up from school so I’m just going to stand in front of the mirror and say “oh my god!” to myself!

Vicki Loyall: Love this video! I’m trying this tomorrow - my hair clumps great on one side with no effort but the other side tends to be more of a frizzy curl , using a little gel helps but like you I like to keep it simple and always resist using a lot of different products. When my hair is dry I scrunch a bit of argan oil in and this really helps too.

Chrystal Thornton: After 2 years of trying to do CGM, I've found it very liberating to embrace my naturally straight hair. Sometimes frizz is just frizz and nothing to do with curls waiting to happen.

Amy D: Simple is what i was looking for!! i have been using a partial cgm for years, but am getting sick of all the post-shower work (getting older and less patient) so i needed a simplified clumping method- thank you!!!

abcameo: Your technique works great on my layered, chin-length (after dry!) bob. I was running low on curl defining cream and it's always a crap shoot which one to buy--even if one works well, I get tempted to try something else. With your system of using defining gel in the shower, I find I won't be needing curl definer. The clumps are best-ever and they held up all week long. Thank you!

Heather S: I love this! I much prefer the simple ways to take care of my hair, because I refuse to have a hair routine that's too complicated for my 2b/2c hair (out of laziness and not having the time ). So any easy tips and tricks are always appreciated!

Kathy Jurek: Hi Susie! I'm glad you shared this. I am definitely going to try the clumping part standing up because I always have trouble with the top crown area of my hair getting frizzy/tangly from flipping upside down and/or plopping. :)

Tracy: I’ve tried this twice now and am getting the best results ever. Thank you so much! I’ve dubbed it Susie’s Shower Styling in my hair journal. Hanging my hair forward is the huge game changer for me. If I look at my clumps wrong they fall apart but this method lets me apply my products and diffuse without ever moving my head. I use my wide toothed comb to set my part while I still have my conditioner in then let it fall forward while it rinses out. I then apply my leave in and my gel, exit the shower catching drips with my microfiber towel, microplop for a few minutes, and then diffuse all my hair without having to move my head around! Bonus? It’s cut down my drying time because the center back of my head gets more air flow. Susie, you have changed my life

Sarah Morley: Wow your hair looks STUNNING! Now that's what I call a good hair day ☺ Your curls are my goal on this Curly hair journey. I'm going to try your routine on my next wash day. I'll be happy if I get half the definition/clumps you have. Thanks for sharing Susie x Ps Your wedding photo in the background is beautiful.

Melanie Macpherson: I have fought with my curly hair for decades! I just followed your routine and my hair finally looks good!

Sara Marie: Thank you for your videos! You helped me learn how to work with my waves/curls. I appreciate the practical and realistic approach you take.

Shannon Shank: Thank you for showing this technique! I love your curls! They are absolutely gorgeous!

Zhila Samareh: You've saved my hair! I never understood how to style my curly hair. I always blow dried so it looked decent. Now I wear it curly and I love !

Tara Eastman: So helpful! Thank you so much! I love the simple techniques and honesty.

Christina Obert: I love your honesty and your short yet helpful videos. And I so understand feeling good when you have a good hair day!! Everyone look at me today!! Not the day my hairs thrown up and I'm missing half an eyebrow

Amy Goulet: I love how you said you couldn’t wait to pick your son up and all the other parents would be impressed with your hair! I’m not gonna lie—I think the same thing when I have an awesome hair day with really great curls!

Audrey Broyer: That video was really helpful. I like your simple approach. Some of the processes that people do for their hair are way too much for me. I have always tried upside down styling and this seemed to work better for me. Keep posting simple stuff...we need to see that it doesn't need to be complicated

Jade: Love the info on the fringe especially!! My forehead is huge so I love fringe...but, curly fringe is tough, for me anyway :) and I totally know what you're talking about with clipping it up and making a super odd pattern, I do this a lot when I think I'm just trying to clip it up so that it doesn't press flat in my forehead. Always something :) love your simple way to style!!! Way more my speed :) thanks!!!

Amy Shaw: I really like your videos! I have a fringe, too, and I have never got it to look good using the CGM until I tried your tip. It totally worked and my fringe looked great. Thank you!

heathzxx: I know this is quite an old video but have been using so many different products lately I decided to go simple and your technique has saved me!! So simple but it works ! Thank you!! Xx

Elishiva Sharitye: I have 4c hair very thick, frizzy and curly and am so sick of wasting money on products that promise to work for my hair then legit sit on top and do nothing! or make it feel horrible, love your videos and your advice, it's budget friendly, descriptive and to the point. I will try this method next time I wash my hair and see how it turns out :)

Lu Camino: I like your simplicity when taking care of your curls.

Serena: Thank you for the lovely tutorial. I prefer to have large clumps of curls too. I have bangs like yours and I always manipulate them while they're wet or else they look creepy lol

Meg Cicciarella: Super helpful video! It’s great to have good tips and techniques to try.

Janette Reed: Oh my goodness, thank you SO much for this information! After two bad haircuts (the second to supposedly fix the first), my hair would NOT curl or even wave. After even my first attempt at using this technique my hair was nice and wavy and looked better than it has in years even with my "Christmas tree" cut!! I'm sure it'll keep looking better the more my hair gets used to this and as it grows out and I can eventually get a cut that's better for curly hair. Question: What do you recommend for keeping curly hair healthy for someone who has to wear a horseback riding helmet all the time? Do I need to find a silk scarf? Not sure how practical that will be. I already have to wear a hat under the helmet in the winter.

QueenBastBeauty: Thank you for this! My hair has been very angry lately and I couldn't figure out why my clumps weren't happening. I'm going to try this next wash day and see what happens!

Minna Uyeda: I enjoy learning and trying your tips. The hair in front of my ears is tight 3b ringlets then the top is wavier, to a 2b/c in the back. I’ve finger twirled, rolled, denman brushed and tried wet, damp , we poop, regular plop, diffuse right away, air dry 80% then diffuse. Nothing is making the back curlier. I’ve been heat free and natural for town years, I thought my hair would have adjusted by now. Any other ideas or tips?

Guera Cabrera: You make the curly girl method so much less complicated. Thank you.

Alissa Mills: This was definitely worth making a video for, thank you! ☺️

Jessica: How do you get the back of your hair to not be a mess when you stay tilted forward?

Nancy Matychuk: Hi Susie - thanks for all your videos; I've watched them all in the last few months, and I feel like I've made a friend. I wondered if you would do a video about the process of discovering what works for you. I've switched to products free from bad stuff, I wash every 3 or 4 days, I use a t-shirt to remove excess water, may hair is already very healthy. So far so good. It's the styling products I'm struggling with - what kind to use (gel, leave in conditioner, hair cream, etc) and how much to use. Because I only wash twice a week maximum, it seems to be taking a long time to figure out how to adjust and I'm getting frustrated. Did that not work because it's the wrong product, I used too much or too little, or because I should apply it differently? (Applying to dripping wet hair is a big leap for me.) I'm in my 50's and have always embraced my natural curl, but I'm currently wearing my hair longer than I have for some time, so that's what has brought me here. Sorry for the long comment. Thanks so much - Nancy from Edmonton.

Lorayne Bouck: Ever since I started scrunching conditioner into my hair I found that my hair is a lot more hydrated! Might be a placebo effect but I swear it more deeply conditions my hair rather than just putting it on my hair

Sharon Kerr: I noticed I had clumps like that when I rinsed out conditioner. Now I know what to do with them! Thank you!

Yesenia Morales Alvira: Absolutely love your hair and your curly hair advice!

Tricia Hardy: May I please just say, I'm so happy I found your videos! I love how honest you are and how you break everything down for us curly girls. I can't remember how many videos I have watched but I feel like almost all of them had to do with hair lol. I tried your everyday hair routine just 3 days ago and I LOVED it. Then I tried the refresh which didn't really work for me I will probably just stick to cowashing and gelling every day also. I do have a question though....the sides of my hair look great with your method but the back of my head doesn't look the greatest I'm not sure why but it's basically where the natural part falls it's like flat or something it looks like I'm balding but my hairdresser says I'm not. Anyway, do you have a natural hair part issue in the back of your head? AGAIN, I'm so glad I found your video to help me love my curls. Also, I wonder if this method would work if I didn't flip my head upside down just not sure how I could use the praying hands method if I don't flip it. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Cindy Bey: I just found you and am so happy I did...you truly simplify this curly hair stying and love it!!!! I am learning lots from you!

Tanya K: I really admire you for your honesty and keeping everything simple and easy. You are the only blogger I don't miss to watch and I really wanna thank you for teaching the curly tribe the perfect way to keep the curls happy and pretty.

Bianca S.: I love your technique and your hair looks beautiful. I love that you use minimal products too. will try and let you know how it goes. One thing with the look i like is elongated clumped curls. And not so many corkscrews. Any ideas how to get that ? Thank you again!!!

VeryTired Helen: 1:08 thank you!! I always brushed my hair after conditioner so that’s why I probably didn’t get clumps!

Julie royce: New subscriber! Your videos have been so helpful to me for the past week or so I have been watching. I have always had curly hair but I went through a long straightening phase and because my hair is NATURALLY two different colors, (it is super blonde in the front and very dark blonde/light brown in the back) I have to bleach or dye my hair. I have been bleaching because the front is so blonde that I find I can make that look last longer without having touch ups. (I only get it colored twice a year and just deal with the roots the rest of the time.) ANYWAY, I decided to re-embrace my curls and they can’t remember what to do with themselves in some places. Your videos have been super helpful getting them back! Thanks again!

J Tables: Thanks for the tips. I’ve always done it upside down so I’ll have to try this. Would you be able to show how you pull your hair back in a protective just easy ponytail or bun? I tend to lose most of my definition and volume on the top of my hair when I tie it back.

Claudia Deindorfer: Tried this for 2nd time today. Cowash only then gel. It worked!! So adorable. I love how my looks today!! Everyone said Oh God!!

Sarah A: I'm so glad you made this video hardly anyone makes videos on how to make curl clumps, only Swavy Curly Courtney made one video about this that I'm aware of and it's the video I've been following. But I wanted to see how other people made clumps and I couldn't find any other videos. Most curly girls rake products through their hair and even comb them through with a fine-toothed comb and they end up with the fattest juiciest shiny curls. When I do that my hair comes out so stringy and with a wet look even if I didn't use gel and I hate that look I want big fat curls. I'm going to do what you do next time I wash my hair.

VQSmith: Haha Susie I love you! You cracked me up with the school pickup. I’d be the same! Cant let that good hair day go to waste

Flor L. Delgado: I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!!! WILL DO TOMAROW!!!! THANK YOU, SWEETY!!!! P.S. Your hair is growing really fast! Beautyfull! I like the way longer hair looks on you. ✌

DaniArt: I love short videos too so even if u feel a concept is too simple, please still post! I love your hair and simple styling techniques.

Dale: I have recently stopped fighting the curl. While visiting California last month and north Florida last week, my hair did so well. Then I remembered that when we moved a decade ago, my hair immediately went to, well, you know. I don’t have a water softener, so will have to put up with this until I move, when I will definitely be installing a water softener. My hair is above my shoulders, so there isn’t any weight pulling it down. I want the large clumps, so will try your tips. Thank you.

Brenda & Don: I have watched you for quite some time and I find that your video’s are so much better for me than other’s. I am not one for the shenanigans. I like straight forward and that’s what I get from you. I can’t remember ever fast forwarding to get through something. Anyway I want to say I appreciate you for that and thank you.

Julie Murray: Thank you for posting about the simple things and simple ways to do your hair. When I see other people using 5 products on their hair, I think "I'm not doing that!".

Lori: Thank you Susie! I learn some little nugget from you every time I watch your tips!!

Mary Brooks: I Love your honesty!! I get so happy when I see your new videos

sherilynschneider: Good to see you on here again, Susie. Really enjoy your videos. And BTW....I bet those other parents did notice that great hair! :)

Marguerite Paige: Great tip!! Thank you

Kayla N: I scrunch conditioner upside down too! And that's how I rinse: at an angle to the sides or upside down. If I stand normally and don't scrunch at all and just let it rinse like I do with my shampoo, then I'll have zero clumps and my hair will be smooth and stuck to my head. I hope I can keep doing this when I'm older some women say they get dizzy or lightheaded.

Angie Ricketts: I can’t wait to try this technique. I love the idea of tipping my head forward instead of upside down. One question— I normally plop with a T-shirt after I apply products, then get back into the shower to rewash my face and all the areas that became covered in conditioner and product during rinsing and clump arrangement. Do you have any tips on that with this technique?

Bree Cabrera: This was so helpful thank you !

Patrice B: I started doing this and definitely noticed a difference in my curls!!!

Clau Panquecito: OMG! I'm so early Your hair looks so pretty!! I'm going to try this next wash day!

Nicole Newman: Love your tips. Thank u. Please keep them coming

Anahid Kassabian: The simple is the best! For those of us who don't like spending hours or $, your videos are gold.

waseabi52: omg for the FIRST time after watching dozens of wavy/curly videos on youtube i find someone who doesnt create the gel cast! I am only thinking about starting to treat my hair with "curly" routines (I would say mine is 2C/3A with more curlier bits underneath and stretched out locks on top) but I despise feeling of product in my hair and so I haven't gotten anywhere. My hair probably isn't very porous, because it doesn't absorb products well and if I applied 3 different curly routine products to it post shower it would be just stringy and greasy which no thank you. I've tried using some strong hold mousse I had on hand once and couldn't stand the crispy and stringy feeling of it after it dried, I ended up brushing out my hair. This kind of makes me interested in trying to buy a proper gel and try using it in this exact way!!! I do hope I could get some more hold like this, because while I like how my hair curls naturally, no product no styling just air dry, it tends to lose the curls on 2nd day except for the tips of the hair (which curl no matter what even when I straighten my hair)... I would like to hear if there's anyone else who only uses gel and doesn't use enough to create a cast! If yes please give any tips for this :)

Dara K.: I just found your channel. I love the way you speak! I have 2b-2c type and I just watched your mousse video and I'm confident in the way I styled it because it was like your way! Thank you , beautiful!

singular10able: You are so honest... n I love that. The last few mnths I had given up on the curly girl method.. but this is simple enough.. Will definitely try it

A: I appreciate short and informative videos! Its very rare now! Thank you!

Linda Sue: OHHHHHHMYYYYYYY I TRIED IT!! I LOVE IT!!! Best curls in ages!!! thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!

Melissa: It looks great. Thank you!

Helen L: Very helpful, thank you.

Linda Sue: Would you (or any viewer who has used this technique) consider "running the water gently over the hair" same as a rinse? Is some of the conditioner left in the hair?

Karina Morales: Thank you Susie. This helps and I will try it

K Bartel: Thanks for the video- ready to try it next time I wash! BTW- do you happen to know what you were wearing in your lips in this video? Such a pretty color!

Angelica Scott: Thankyou for being honest!!! I often wonder how many "curly girls" cheat behind the scenes and use curling wands (or even get perms!) I love your videos the most becuz ur HONEST! ♥️

kgstudioproductions: Love this! You look fantastic!!

Janet Harrison: This has given me a bit of hope. Going to try this curl clumping routine as am feeling despondent with the CGM currently (only 6 weeks in). Has anyone on here managed to find the Biotera gel in the UK? In general, if curly girls want a trim is it definitely best to find a hairdresser willing to cut curls dry?

Leon Vincent: Very helpful for my mom

Kellie Zimmerman: Thank you for explaining this. I don't do the upside down thing at all. It just tangles my hair.

Mariana PTKS: Apple cider vinegar rinses and beer rinses help me a lot with curl clumping. Also the bowl method. I'm a 2b/2c

Laura Elzey: Helped me sista! Thank you for sharing your tips

Patrick Smeaton: As of this morning, I incorporated some of your tips. My hair is wet at the moment, but I can already tell that it's working. To what extent...THAT remains to be seen. Lol

Steph Winn: My hair is so much like yours its crazy! Its graying and I've decided not to dye it. My finge is a problem too, I'm hoping growing it out will help. Thanks for all your info!!!!!

L Waller: question, when you are diffusing are you still kinda leaned forward? Or do you flip your hair back? Beautiful as always!!!

Victorious Vikki: This was very helpful ty!

angela ducci: Luv your video and the whole simplicity of curly and wavy method. Greetings from Montreal.

Jodimak: Can I just ask please: do you apply a leave in conditioner? You mention that you rinse your conditioner out and form your clumps with your fingers but you don’t mention a leave in. Also if not, do you rinse all the conditioner out? Thanks! Can’t wait to try this!

Lee Lee Bee: Honest and practical

Joanna Burcham: Love this! How often do you wash your hair?

Linda Bryan: How do you keep from having a "messy back" when you style forward?

Anna Burns: thanks for the demo. I'm going to try it. BTW, I love the color of your hair. It looks darker and it's really becoming on you.

doowopshopgal: Beautiful hair truly!!!!

Lisa Humphreys: Your hair looks awesome here. Do you use any heat protectant product or is the gel one? I use this gel too. Thanks gonna try this method.

Heather Spencer: Lol all the other parents are going to see me and say “OH my gaahhhd!” Love you

cecilia nguyen: Do you plop after? How? When I do, my clumps seem to break apart.

Kate Phillips: Hi, I love your channel. You seem to use a lot of the same products I do, I see them back there. Are you low porosity and thick? If so, try a steam cap with your deep condition. I have started doing it and swear by it now. You will get the juicyist curls. Thank you for this video.
