Cantu shine and define custard (curly girl approved)

Hi guys so today, I'm going to share with you how I do my wash and go on my curls now I know it doesn't really look like I've got any curls right now, but that is just because I'm doing a deep treatment on my hair um. So yeah I'm going to yeah, I'm gon na be sharing with you. How I wash my hair, conditioned my hair and style my hair and show you how i'm left with glorious glossy curls. Now the first product i'm going to be using to actually cleanse and wash my scalp is the can to complete conditioning coco. As you can see, I've still got the deep treatment in my hair, which is just a mixture of olive oil and the vegan Cantu conditioner, which is also amazing and yeah. So I'm just going to go ahead now and wash my hair using the county. Co wash and I find that this really helps to get rid of any sort of debris and grease and grime in the hair, so I'll chew them once I've washed okay, so I'm all washed. Now what I did was use the county co wash to gently scrub. My scalp in circular motions and that made sure that it got rid of any grease or grime or any debris that may have been, and so what I'm going to do now is condition. My hair, I'm going to be using the Cantu shea butter, leave-in conditioning repair cream, and I'm probably going to take two good handfuls of this and rake it through my hair from the ears down okay. So my hair is literally coated with the Cantu conditioner. I'Ve just talked about, and what I like to do is keep my hand upside down and gently just start raking. My fingers through my hair voila completely, not free. Now you can rinse out your conditioner. If you wish to, I actually have super thick hair and tons of it, and my hair needs the extra moisture. So I'm literally not going to wash anything out of this. So what I'm going to do now is just lightly drizzle. The shower head just over my hair again not to rinse anything out but just to add some more moisture in it, and then I'm going to grab my old cotton t-shirt to block the extra moisture out. My hair yeah, I'm just going to literally take the water out to stop. It dripping still want to leave plenty in there to keep the curls Hydra hydrated and that will minimize the frizz. And now I'm going to show you what other Cantu products are used to get curls of pop. This is my absolute fave styling product. It is the Cantu moisturizing curl activator and my god, when I first started using this, I thought I had curly hair use this and wow. They were crazy, crazy in a good way. May I add it was a complete game changer for me, I like to use this as well as the define and shine custard. I know some people use this alone. I like to use it with a gel just going to take a small amount of the curl activator I'll, show you how much I use like I said I do have quite thick hair, so I can get away with using a bit more product, but definitely start Off with less, you can always add more and that's the amount I'm going to use through mine, I'm just going to distribute it between my hands tip my head upside down, and I actually like to smooth it through using this motion called the praying hands method. Next, I'm going to take a small amount of the define and shine custard and again in the same technique. I previously showed you apply it in the same way, once we've done, that we're pretty much ready to either air dry or diffuse okay, so I've gone ahead and applied the shine into fine custard. So what I'm going to do now is allow my hair to dry and I'll tune in once it has, and hopefully I'll be left with glorious glossy curls, exciting hi, my lovelies, as you can see, I'm completely dry now and I've been left with these gorgeous super Glossy and defined curls throughout I'm just in love with it. This is why I love Cantu products summer. I hope that you've enjoyed the video, my love layers and picked up some tips on how to apply the products I adore the can to range. I think it's such a versatile product that it can be used in any texture hair and you get great fat. This is my washing go. We can to my can to my curl thanks for watching you

Lela Wolf: I just want to say a HUGE thanks for the tutorial! I have been struggling to find product that work for my fine 2b/3a curls. You changed my life! Well curl life..haha. your technique and choice of products are a game changer for me! I was so frustrated with this hair journey, I was literally about to give it up. Thanks a ton, pretty lady!

Caroline schofield: I know this is an old video but thanks so much for posting it. Every curly girl group I'm in everyone who uses Cantu goes super light with it or says its too heavy and I've found I need loads and my hair drinks it in. So thankful to find someone else with a similar hair type that does the same and gets great results.

Skye Blue: Wow, I thought that with all the butters and oils in Cantu products that your hair would look greasy and weighed down but it came out beautiful!

Kirsty Pitt: Great video and very helpful! Doing the cg method since 2 weeks now and loving it! I love our curls

April Lund: Was in a store yesterday looking at Cantu products for myself and was told nicely by an employee that I Was in the African America section (I’m white). That’s we’re the confusion for some is, in many stores Cantu products are in a separate section leading people with fine hair like myself to think they shouldn’t use it. I’m so glad to see these comments and am excited to try Cantu!

SerLadyJenn: I have no idea where to start on getting my curly hair back after straightening but I heard cantu was a good place - but I'm also hesitant because I brought it up with others and they always say it's for black people and it wouldn't be good for me. It really gets me down because I really want my curly hair back so thank you for the video!

Kelly Shilts: I just started using the custard and really like what it does to my curls. I've tried so many things and this one just simple works!!!!! The only thing I'm noticing that I don't like is when I wake up in the morning my pillow has white residue on it. Does that happen to anyone else? I'm quite sure I'm not using to much after watching this video.

Lil G: wow, great result! you have beautiful curly hair!

mr. shush: I’m a white male who uses these products and they work well

Amber Unthank: I love Cantu. I have dry ends and oily scalp and Cantu is the only non sulfate product that has worked wonders for my 2b/2c hair. This is the best products. I dont usually style just after washing I use curl activator and braid a loose french braid and sleep on a silk pillowcase. in morning I use comeback curl after taking braid out scrunch and out the door. Best products for white curly hair I have ever used. ❤❤

Tyshaun Davis: See I came here thinking that I'd be offended or upset about her using Cantu products. Then, I realized that I don't really care about it. She can do what she wants. The only thing kinda triggering me us that the products say natural hair. In conclusion it turned out adorable and i love it.

Melissa Pearson: gorgeous. my hair is similar to yours so I have hope now!

Rachel Massie: I just bought the cantu curl activator last night as I impulsively decided to switch to the curly girl method. I wasn't sure I liked it after I tried it this morning, I was afraid I had put too much in lol but after seeing you use it, I actually don't think I used enough and I scrunched it in. I'm going to try doing the praying hands next time and see how that goes. I also have been wrapping my hair in a microfiber wrap towel and kind of plopping for a bit before adding my styling products but I noticed you put all your products in while the hair was still very very wet, I'm going to give that a go too. Does it take your hair forever to air dry like that though? I'm trying so hard not to use heat tools, but my hair seems to take hours to dry even when it's super short, and I feel odd about walking into the office with really wet hair in the morning lol.

Sexicana G: I'm going to have to get the curl activator and give cantu another try... I just used the custard and I'm having bad luck! I'm not sure if i'm using to much but it's not curling some are super straight, well waved out and stretched. Ugh...

Luna Mysteria: Do you still use any of these products?

Elle Odoba: BLOOOODY HELL!! Your hair turned out fab!

TJ Radway: I love your hair video and I love Cantu too! ❤️

Jeannie Girl: Awesome video

Cristina Maria: Love love love this video

TJ Radway: I love your beautiful hair and I love Cantu hair too

Sharon Couzens Helewa: The leave-in isn't CG friendly. It has a cone and lanolin :(

LS: Love Cantu!! ❤️ and the smell......yum Your curls look awesome

Hannah Brown: you looking lovely

SING 4 YOU: I love its for everyone

Sherry Rodricks: Using it alone is not helping me.. could you please advice something?? I think it is because of the humid summers !! Help?? I get right angle curls or just flat hair.. only the front portion will curl not the behind??

buttrpecan9: Wow!

Angelina: Is it weird that I'm scrolling through YouTube to see if anyone has any issues with me using the Cantu brand? My hair is curly but I don't know if anyone will have a problem with it.

Nadia Siwak: Is your hair naturally curly or straight

Linda Soto: Your hair looks great but you left out how you styled it. It would have been nice to see maybe next time.

Chloe Eliza: Can you use this if you naturally don’t have curly hair

shine bright: can I use cantu on toddler or its only for adults?

Jason Voorhees The Slump God: good video

Sabrina Nicoara: So I’ve got semi dry hair and ii bought the Cantu conditioner because ii like dhow natural the ingredients were and just now I’m seeing that a lot of African Americans use it and I’m wondering if it’ll be bad for my hair? I’m European

Jeany T: The comments on this video make me cringe and eye roll. Y’all this product is not race specific.

Quanie Cunningham: I really thought the cantu was for black people but its nice to see white women try it out to. Guess it works on all hair. Who knew

ExposedRoot: So many of the comments here are just ignorant and asinine.

Tani: wow. I thought the cantu line was formulated for just black people's texture. Who knew....

Bubba Dang: Can this make my natural straight hair turn curly

Aalaynah Cobb: Why you doing deep treatment.....watch toooo much yt huh?

Makayla S: It's for natural hair and by natural hair it means black people hair but to see this is cool

shakira williamson: Well because on the products it says for black natural hair and yeah your hair did look nice but your using a product that's not made for your hair but sorry if I offended you in any way

shakira williamson: Cantu hair products is for black people/natural hair

shakira williamson: You do know you can damage your hair by using a hair product that's not made for your hair

The Eazy-D Suttles: This is for black people truly im realy not trying to be rude but it works best for African American people.. And besides im not racist and im not a bully but yea but other wise ur video was good

The Eazy-D Suttles: Not to be rude but this is for African American woman kids and men sorry
