Reviewing L.U.S Brand (Love Ur Curls) On My 3A Curls! Shampoo, Conditioner, & 3-In-1 Styler

Hi guys welcome to my channel if you haven't seen any videos on my channel. Yet my name is marissa linay and i make curlier content vlogs and lifestyle videos, so i have not done a review in a while. I'Ve been a little bit m.i.a. I am two months away from my wedding and we are trying to close on a house in the next couple of weeks, so things have just been hectic. The last few months, as soon as we're like moved in to our new home, hopefully i'll, be able to balance making more videos and more content, because i did miss doing this, i'm actually in a hotel room right now. I thought it was a perfect time to go ahead and shoot a video for you guys. So today, i'm going to be reviewing less lust stands for love your curls. It'S a brand! That'S based out of canada. Um, i've never tried them before and they sent me a pr package. So it was just some items that were gifted, i'm not getting paid to say anything good or bad or i'm not even required to say anything about the brand at all. But i figured that i would review this brand because i have seen a lot of curly hair influencers use their line, so i wanted to see how it worked for my hair, so they sent over their shampoo conditioner and then their three in one styling products. So i'm going to give you my honest opinion so before we get into that, if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet i would love. So, let's go ahead and get started. I will go ahead and jump into reviewing. The shampoo first thing i noticed is the smell is really nice. It is more of a powdery perfumey type of smell, so not any kind of florals, definitely more on the powdery side, and i really do like that. I feel like those kind of scents last longer i've got my hair during the week, so i love that. One thing i did notice is that the packaging looks like it might be defected just a little bit here. You can kind of see that when i press down on it it doesn't really pop up um. So i can't get the product out i'll show you here what the conditioner bottle looks like when it's open and how it's supposed to look like. So that's the only thing that i've noticed so far and it's probably just like a one-off and i know issues happen with packaging and transportation. So hopefully that's not the case for all the bottles. The conditioner popped up, just fine. So as i'm applying it to my hair, i did notice that it gathers so so well and i'm really particular about making sure that the shampoo that i'm using gives a good lather, because if it doesn't, then my hair just doesn't feel clean. I feel like there's still like residue or oil in my hair, so i love that it was so easy to lather. So after washing it all out, i went ahead and used the conditioner. The products are made with shea butter and meringue oil. So i was interested to see how that wears on my hair, because sometimes shea butter can be just a little bit too heavy, but here's the consistency. It looks really creamy. Really nice again has that nice powdery perfumey type smell, but not overwhelming. I mentioned this before, but i'm not a huge fan of products that are just like whoa in your face. The smell has to be like kind of somewhere in the middle. I want to be able to smell it, but i don't want to get a headache from it and that's not the case at all. It has a really good balance, but it was really easy to get through my hair and distribute and have nice slip um. I kind of just let it sit in there until i like finish my shower, which is about you know another five to ten minutes or so and after washing it out. I guess i'm in love with this conditioner, i'm not just saying that again. This is not sponsored it's not an ad, but afterwards my hair just felt so soft, but it didn't feel like mushy or over moisturized, which sometimes happens with like heavy kinds of butters um. I felt like it was a perfect balance for my type of hair. Even getting out of the shower, my hair still felt really soft. I would say that besides the little small defect with the packaging on the shampoo really enjoy the shampoo and conditioner. Definitely i'm going to be using it again, but now i'm going to go ahead and switch over to talking about the three in one styling. I would say it's not a cream. It'S like a cream gel. It'S like a mixture of the two. So it's supposed to repair, hydrate and style, so i was pretty nervous about trying a like one and done kind of product, not gon na lie, because my hair is pretty thick. I do have a lot of hair and i feel like if i don't use enough product, i deal with frizz a lot. I deal with dry parts in my hair um, so i was really interested to see if it was gon na be able to unlock. In my curls and give me enough hold so like i mentioned it's more of a cream gel consistency, it kind of reminded me of like the bounce curl gel consistency, which is like a cream gel. I felt like it was pretty easy to distribute throughout my hair. I did go ahead and start working in smaller sections um. Lately, i've been just splitting them into like kind of like two big sections and then distributing the product. But i went ahead and did three this time, because i wanted to make sure that all of my hair was coated, since i was only using one product and i wasn't going back in to add a gel or mousse afterwards. So i wanted to make sure all of my hair had enough products. So after doing that, i was able to use my be hair full brush, and this is the styling brush that i've been using a lot lately. I love this thing um, i would say it's taken like the top spot, but the denman brush is right there under it, but it just helps create really really nice spiral. Curls um helps really enhance the definition, and i just love how easy it is to detangle. My hair with this as well, i feel like it's a lot faster to detangle with this instead of a wide tooth comb and it doesn't pull or snag my hair. I feel like it's still able to be gentle on my hair, but it makes detangling my hair. So fast, i love this thing that i did take my time to make sure that i hover diffused and kind of set everything in, but it created a really good cast, not too crunchy to where i had to really work to get the crunchiness out. But it did create a good cast where i knew my curls were going to hold. So as soon as i saw that the cast was created, i kind of knew i was going to get good results. I feel like. I can always tell if my results are going to be good or not before my hair's, even dried, so really happy with how it came out. I feel like i have good definition. I was completely surprised because what i was expecting was to like it um but maybe not have as much hold or as much curl, because that's what kind of happens when i go light on products, but it definitely bounced up still. I feel like you can't tell that i only use one product, which is a good thing, because i feel, like my best hair days, are when i use um either two to three products. Sometimes, four, if i add like a leave-in conditioner, but i really can't tell the difference - and this is gon na be great for days where i kind of just need to um pack light or i'm out of town - don't wan na take a whole bunch of different Curly hair products, so i'm gon na, look to see if they have any other products that are worth trying out. So, if you're looking for something, that's a little less high maintenance. I know some people don't like putting a whole bunch of products in their hair. So if you're looking for a one-and-done type product, i would say this would be a good place to start really happy with how it performed again. The shampoo and conditioner really great, that conditioner is just a1. I am so impressed with that.
