Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful, thank you for being here today. What are we doing? How are we feeling so today we're watching some hair routines from some different people and they're all about styling, thick long hair, and how to maintain that thick long hair we're gon na look at everything from what products they're using how much product they're using how they Dry, their hair, how they wash their hair, what temperature water they use! We'Re gon na pick it all apart piece by piece and see what they could do better. If anything at all, everybody will start off with 10 points and every time i don't like something that they do or i think they could do it better they're going to lose a point. I want to be really really really tough, because that's what makes it fun these are just my opinions. If you have a differing opinion, it's totally fine. I do not know everything. I never claim to know everything. This is just for fun and entertainment, and a little bit of education along the way. Let'S check out these hair routines and see whose routine is supreme. Let'S do it up. First, we have a video by brianna quan and it's called my hair care routine for long and healthy hair. Let'S rate this, shall we first thing i want to say: is hair skin nails, everyone's different, and it's all based on genetics, your hair's not going to grow. This long overnight, if i could add a point, i would add a point, because that was great. That is very true, a lot of people that just don't have good hair. It'S genetics. You can definitely try and um push back on those genetics from coming through. You can be like genetics, get the out and use some that makes your hair really long and really thick, but some people just have naturally beautiful gorgeous hair. So i actually wash my hair once a week because that's when i noticed it actually getting oily, i feel, like my hair, doesn't get that oily that quickly, especially if you don't like touch your hair. That often because then you're, just like stimulating oil and she's right count, your hair, less your hair, will get less oily depends what your lifestyle is. You work out if it's hot, your hair is blonde. If your hair is brown, you can see the oil more on darker hair stuff like that, but once a week seems to be pretty good for most people. So these are the products that i use they're by ogx and it's the renewing argan oil of morocco, shampoo and the nourishing coconut milk conditioner. So both argan oil and coconut oil are really good for your hair. In my opinion, i've done my own research about it. Am i gon na find anything wrong with this video today, because she seems, like she's, done a lot of research on this holy. I have no problem with lgx. I'Ve definitely used them before. I don't mind people mix and match shampoos and conditioners. I actually encourage it because you can get different benefits in the shampoo and in the conditioner, and you can combine them and get all kinds of benefits all wrapped. In one process, i usually wash my hair with lukewarm water, because i find extremely hot water makes it frizzy and then extremely cold. Water doesn't really do anything for me and then the amount of shampoo that i use is about three lines worth. So if you put shampoo along the three lines of your finger, that is about how much i use oh girl, this is music to my ears thumbs up on all of this. You guys i've never done these videos where, like she doesn't do anything wrong. I don't think anybody's ever last, this long with a full-on pen in one of these videos, so she said that she doesn't use cold water and she hasn't used very hot water. I know a lot of people like to use cold water when they're washing their hair, and you know it helps preserve your color and so on and so forth. However, you need a little bit of heat to expand the hair fiber and then get the shampoo in there and get all that dirt and grease and grime out of your hair. So, if you're only using cold water, it's really not going to do much for your hair. It'S not going to release those oils and that dirt from your hair, as well as it would with lukewarm water. And then she said she uses three finger lines worth of shampoo on her hair. I think that's a perfect amount any more than that would be too much. So i like to scrub my hair vertically or horizontally. You don't want to wash in circles, because that is what is going to create tangles and breakage. I'M just going to let her do my job today. I have no advice for you at this point exactly what she said. Okay, please guys, when you're shampooing, do this motion? Don'T do this you're going to tangle the out of your hair and you're, going to snap your hair off when your hair is wet it's at its most fragile state, so you do not want to be going like this um you're also going to put little abrasions On your scalp, if you're going too hard, it's going to just all around, not be good. She also, if you noticed she did not put the shampoo on her ends. The water will go down the hair with the shampoo and it'll rinse the ends, and i leave my shampoo in for about five minutes before rinsing it out. Should i take a point off for that? She leaves the shampoo on for five minutes. I'Ve. Never in my life ever have heard of such a thing. We'Re gon na take a point off for that, because i don't get it. Maybe you can educate me for this one, but i've never heard of somebody leaving the shampoo for five minutes and it doing anything more than if you just shampoo it and rinse it out. I don't think that's accurate, so we're at a nine. So when it comes to conditioner, i like to use about four finger lines, so i do two lines for my scalp and two lines for the ends of my hair. I like to leave my conditioner in for six to eight minutes, just to really ensure that i've added moisture back to my hair after shampooing, i'm removing another point we're going down to an eight. I knew i'd find something i didn't like putting conditioner on your scalp is not gon na harm your scalp. However, it might increase the amount of oil on your scalp, because the oil production from your scalp is going to hydrate. You know the first couple inches of your hair within the first few hours, so with conditioner. You really want to focus on the ends. What i would recommend is putting you know three finger lines. I like the way she says that so i'm gon na use that reference um three finger lines of conditioner on your ends and your mids and letting it sit there for as long as you can. I recommend at least five minutes just to really get it hydrated. Then rinse it off, but you do not need a conditioner up here for any reason, unless you have a really dry scalp or something like that, i wouldn't recommend putting conditioner up there and even if you have a dry scalp, sometimes putting more conditioner and more products With scents on top of your scalp dries them out even more so i just recommend not putting conditioner on your scalp. Don'T do that in my opinion. So i use a 100 cotton shirt just to draw the moisture out of my hair because i don't want to cause any breakage or split ends and i never dry my hair with a towel, because the material is just really abrasive and bad for your hair. Let'S take a point off we're doing it. The reason why i took a point off is because she did something really great, which is use a cotton shirt to dry her hair three little thumbs up here, there's no harm in using that. However, she did say that using a cotton towel is too abrasive. I just agree if you use a cotton towel like this, it's bad for your hair and it's going to cause breakage and tangle your hair and do all kinds of disgusting stuff. However, if all you're doing with a cotton towel is ringing your hair and squeezing it it's really just absorbing the water in your hair, it's not adding to any frizz or breakage, or anything like that. So cotton towels are totally fine. We'Ve been using them for years and years and years on our hair, and it's totally fine just don't go like this, and when your hair is tangled after a shower, which is inevitable, i use a wet brush, because the bristles are a lot more flexible and soft. So that is mainly how i try to prevent breakage, while my hair is wet and after the shower, oh something. I love that i just saw was that she's detangling her hair with her fingers. I do recommend if you can get away with not using a brush when your hair is wet comb it through with your fingers and then let it air dry, because when you brush your hair, when it's wet it's at its most fragile state and you're more prone To breakage that way, if you can get away with just using your fingers like this you're, not gon na get as much breakage and it's gon na be much healthier. Just like your skin, your hair is going to have different needs in the summer versus the winter. So in the winter i like to use extra strength, coconut miracle oil - i use about a quarter size of this oil i'll warm it up between my fingers and i'll just comb it through the bottom half of my hair, and then i usually just let my hair Air dry, the rest of the way in this video i'm using the argan oil of morocco, because it is spring summer now: okay, i love that she's using a thicker oil in the winter to really hydrate her hair, because that winter breeze really does dry. The out of your hair and then she's using a lighter oil in the summer, because the humidity it's going to add a little bit of hydration onto your hair anyways. So you do not use thick of an oil in the winter, opposed to summer. Great job. With that, i also love that sheep only put the oil on the bottom half of her hair, if you guys put it on the top of your head. Obviously, it's gon na make your hair oily don't go up too far. Only go up to the first third of your hair, you're gon na make your hair greasy and oily and you're gon na have to wash it more often. So don't do that so guys. That'S the end of the video. Thank you so much for watching. Thank you, brianna for that wonderful, hair care, routine. You really know you're, like seriously. You did a great job. I am going to give you a rating of a seven for this. You are great, but i can always find things wrong. So, let's see if the next person we watch can compare to this routine, we just saw it was pretty solid. So, let's see what happens in the next one up next, this video is by amy macedo, and this is called my haircare routine 2018.. My number one hair secret is to not wash my hair often so i only wash my hair once a week again guys we're off to a fabulous start. You see a trend here, it's good not to wash your hair. Often your hair naturally produces oils and those oils protect your hair and nourish your hair and, if you're, just stripping them away and washing them away. It'S such a waste, like your hair, wants those natural oils. Your hair is begging for those oils thumbs up for that. Your scalp creates those natural oils to keep that hair sexy fabulous long thick. You know what i mean, so you need to keep them, don't get rid of them so soon. This is the shampoo and conditioner that i use, because this is the first time i am washing my hair, since i just got it dyed a 4n, a really dark brown um. It ended up turning out pretty dark. Still, okay, we're going to be nine because you need to be more gentle when shampooing your hair, it's so intense, you're gon na create tangles holy sh. Also, it's fine that she's using bond building shampoo. I think that's what it is and damage shampoo, but i don't know from the looks of it. Her hair doesn't look at all damaged. It is also really dark, so darker hair usually hides damage, but maybe you can get away with using more of a hydrating formula. Rather than a damage curing formula, because if you use those shampoo and conditioner formulas that are made for damaged hair, it is possible that you're over filling your hair with too much protein you're, also rebuilding broken bonds. That possibly aren't even broken. So you just don't need it. You could be using a hydrating product that is more of an oil base that is going to give your ends more life and your hair more shine. I'M not gon na. Take a point off for that because i don't really know the exact texture of her hair. I can only see it in this video, so if i touched it and i could feel it, i could make a better decision on that. So this is the rebond number. Two mask this is kind of like a pre-conditioner. They call it anyways um, i have long hair. So i take a good amount of this and i make sure to put it all over my hair. Yes, even the roots put it all over and i really make sure to run my fingers through everything so that it can really evenly get all over, and i do leave this in for about five minutes. You guys this stuff is magic, it's actually amazing and it really really really softens your hair and i find that it helps with frizzing and like baby hairs. A lot. I'M gon na take a point down we're down to eight she's, starting with squeezing into her hand and then putting it in basically the top part of her hair. I would definitely recommend you scrunch your conditioner into the bottom of your hair and then work your way up. You do not need all that bond building on the top of your head, where your hair is extremely healthy. You know, bond building, agents are best for parts of your hair that are damaged and broken, and splitting so focusing on the ends first and working your way up would be a lot better. So last step, of course, is conditioner. So i'm just going to take some of this and mainly put it on the mid to ends of my hair and i like to leave conditioner in just for like a minute or so let it kind of sit there for a little bit and then rinse it Out so i did read the directions on this rebond system and you're actually supposed to put the pre-conditioner on leave it on for five minutes and then put the conditioner over it. I think you washed the pre-conditioner out beforehand. That'S just a little error there, but make sure you guys use your products correctly and exactly how they are made to be used, or else they're not going to be as effective. I never rub my hair too vigorously with the towel. I just kind of like pat it dry, ah music, to my ears. She pads her hair dry. She squeezes the water out. She doesn't rub it amazing. Don'T ever take your hair and go like this with the towel. Please please, please you'll notice too. I like to apply all my products before i brush out my hair, and that is so that when i do brush out my hair, the products can get through the hair evenly and it helps to evenly move it around. If that makes sense, i also love that she says she doesn't brush her hair out before she puts the products in. That is such a great idea. These creams and these oils are gon na help release those tangles easier when you go and actually brush your hair. Putting a leave-in, conditioner and oil or cream anything like that before brushing your hair is always a great thing. I love this oil. It'S amazing! It really helps with frizzing, but also you know just keeping my hair super smooth. So i like to apply most of that at the ends and then you'll notice, whatever's left over. I do trickle it to the mid and then put a tiny bit of wood left over on the top, i'm totally okay, with her putting a little bit of oil on the top. It helps make your hair extremely shiny, though it is going to make your hair. Probably a little more greasy, but it's fine and i'm glad that she focused on the ends with the oil so to brush out my hair. You guys this brush is amazing but um. If you have super thick hair, you are going to need to do what i do, which is just go over with the paddle brush that last little bit to get everything out, the other one it doesn't hurt at all and it gets most of the tangles out. I love that she used a boar bristle brush to brush her hair. You'Re gon na have to use two brushes most likely if you're brushing your hair, while it's wet with a boar bristle brush, because they're not great for brushing wet hair. However, they do decrease like the pulling and the tugging on your hair, but she did have to go in after with a um more of a paddle brush to really get those deep tangles out. That'S totally fine, totally! Okay with that for blow drying, i wanted to show you guys what i do when i blow dry. I don't put it on super hot heat anymore, because it really does damage the hair, so i try my best to keep it on the lowest heat option. I love that she's blow drying using a brush as well as the concentrator nozzle. I hate when people take the concentrated nozzle off the blow dryer and she's using a low heat setting so yeah. My favorite thing to do is first off straighten my sideburns. I cannot live with straight hair if i haven't straightened the back of my head and the sideburns. I love that she was sectioning her hair before flat ironing. This is so good, so she took each section and did one or two passes on her hair. That is so important guys, please don't take the iron and go like 12 passes on the same hair. It'S so bad and you don't need to do that. One solid pass with a comb like she was using great job with that too. That'S all it takes, so that is pretty much it for my hair care routine, you guys, oh, that was fabulous. That leaves amy and eight as her score, which means amy is our winner. For today she has the ultimate hair routine, though she lost two points. So we'll work on this, both of you guys, have really great routines, i'm just nitpicking and being super critical, but you know fabulous, hair, great job. You guys definitely know a lot about hair, so product make sure you check out me and my hair care brands on instagram. You can also shop any of my hair products right down below at xmlhair.com. Today'S instagram shout out goes to bug bite. I don't know a real name, but that's what we're gon na go with today. I'Ve been wanting short hair for over a year now, but i'm afraid to chop it off because i feel like my face is too round. Chubby is my face two rounds chubby for really short hair like a pixie cut or a boyish cut. I don't want to look like a boy, especially since i never wear makeup. I don't think you'd look bad. It would look wonderful honestly, but you have to make sure you get the right kind of pixie cut. I'M feeling like a lot of layering inwards towards the face having the longer pieces and around here on your cheekbones, will really accentuate the curves of your face and really define your cheekbones and give you a lot more structure as well as style it with some like Pomade and give it some texture and a cool spiky vibe. I think it would look amazing on you. That is all thank you for watching, don't forget to live your extra life and i'll see you next time. Bye, guys you

Amy Macedo: Thank you for reviewing my routine + for the tips

Breanna Quan: omg ty brad! ill take a 7/10

Trif Hope: Show idea: People send in their hair situation(either that is damaged and/or boring),brad reacts to them and chooses one for each episode to come in for a Mondo Makeover

cjaneg97: Hair Routine For Long, Healthy STRAIGHT* Hair. Curly hair plays by different rules.

Samantha Sierra: This is oddly specific, but can you give tips on hair care for those of us that work in dirty jobs, and thus HAVE to wash our hair daily?

LiL [ash]: I definitely think the first girl deserved a better score. The other girl did more damage to her hair everytine she put products in it while in the shower, by rubbing it so much.

Shannon Carden: Hey everyone! Ogx is actually in the middle of a lawsuit for having an ingredient that causes hair loss and i believe damage to the scalp. I’d definitely look into. Im a hairstylist as well and used this exact stuff in high school and didnt notice anything but i also didnt use it long term. Hope this helps.

Amelia and Watson: I feel jealous of people who gets heart from Brad

sososweet 1249: For the first girl, she's leaving the shampoo on for 5 minutes so that the benefits that the shampoo offers get into her hair, just like a conditioner, but it's so the argan oil can work it's magic

Marie Wright: I've been fighting cancer since 2019 and I've lost my hair twice to chemo. But these videos help me get my fun hair fix. I used to love to dye my hair fun colors. I love Brad Mondo's fun happy energy. I watch his videos for hours.

Dusty Leigh: There was a class action lawsuit filed against Johnson & Johnson, the manufacturer of OGX products, due to people claiming it caused hair fall out.

Ananya Kanagal: Is it just me or does Brad look younger every video?!!

Eabrie Babie: Now Brad, who’s finna use three finger lines of conditioner??? That will condition a tenth of my hair.

Patrick M: I wanna see him do a reaction to dudes shaving their heads bald lol Or bald head scalp routine reviews? Bald guys need help too

Margarita: Being a curly girl this isn't quite as informative for us curly peeps because we have a much different way to take care of our curls but nevertheless it's fun to watch❤️

Cindy Pinedo: Brad’s hair is giving me fruity pebbles vibes but I’m still here for it ❤️

Whats-My-Fandom: As someone who is growing out their hair, I thank you and all you had in this video for the wonderful advice <3

Ali Casper: Brad- cotton towels are FINE. Me- laughs in curly

Angelina Lennon: and then there’s me solely picking my shampoo on the smell and the fact that Aussie stuff has a kangaroo on it and yet my hair is still waist length, thick, and healthy. (thank goodness for my Peruvian, Italian, and Chinese genes)

Lisa Bradley: Brad calling out his bronzer is so relatable

Kylie Graves: Thank you so much Brad for all your hair tips! I’ve always had frizzy hair split ends all over never knowing what I’m doing wrong But now Ik and I can’t wait for my hair to start getting healthier

Kaylah Mainwaring-Hall: I would love to see a long curly hair routine... While my routine works wonders, however it does not bring out top layer curls, and it is forever frizzy on top Routine: - Shampoo twice, with a decent amount that sits for about a minute or two. Rinse. - Conditioner on top, to bottom. Then seperate the hair in to 2 sides. - Apply conditioner to either side focusing on the bottom of hair. - Brush through each side until lathered and de-tangled. Rinse. - Once out of shower I apply curling product to ends, lightly dry with towel, then let sit.

N Y: Apparently Ginger hair is actually made up differently to other colours, I’d love for Brad to do some videos about it!

Chloe Briere: Hi brad! I would love to see you do this for curly, frizzy hair! That would be super helpful for me. ☺️

angela: Hey Brad Mondo!! Love what you do. I am a wavy-haired (2b/2c) girl. I really enjoy listening to your recommendations. Between the blessedly-patient lady who takes care of my hair, you and the wonderful lady from the "Deeper than Hair TV" channel, I love how you all help me accept my curls. The lady who does my hair pencils in between 4 and 5 hours for me to be in her chair. In that time she can change the way I am feeling about myself. I like that all y'all are honest and won't recommend (or do) things to clients' hair that will cause damage (and regret). I just want to tell you I appreciate the work you all do to learn the chemistry and learn the techniques - and have an innate ability to see beneath as to what is going on with your clients. Much love to you all and others in your field that have a gift you probably don't really think about.

Athena Robinson: I love Brad, but I wish their was a girl with long, 4C hair in the videos because the routines can be very different.

Erica Meyer: I honestly feel like this video was made for someone like me bc I do most those things I have very long, thick, healthy hair & I like being more educated about what I should or shouldn't do! I use suave conditioner & shampoo & that's it, so thank you for uploading that video Brad!

etaylor: Leaving your shampoo on (depending on the type) can be beneficial for your scalp. Especially for people who deal with dandruff or scalp psoriasis. Make sure to look at your shampoo to make sure this is something that will be beneficial to your scalp health before trying it ☺️

Kashia Smith: Hey brad! Love your videos! But I’d love to see more videos catered to natural hair. Dying, cutting, anything. A whole group of people would love to take information from your videos and use them in their everyday lives:)

Fisherrend: I am so impressed by you, Brad. I happened upon you on Facebook in one of those random videos that are shown. After I’d seen those short ones a couple of times, i went in search of you on YouTube. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and you really know your stuff! As someone who also has a very deep knowledge of a passion subject (dogs), I know the kind of care, dedication and love goes into accumulating this kind of knowledge. Kudos to you!

Rachel: Brad please do a long curly/wavy routine reaction vid!! My hair is a solid 2b/3a mixed texture (layers greatly contribute to the variation) and it goes all the way past my butt. It's a good 3- 3 1/2 feet long and I just don't know what to do with it anymore. I don't want to ruin it so some direction would be greatly appreciated!!

Princess Rachel: I love Brads videos so much!! I hope one day he rates my routine or the tutorial I used to cut my father’s hair. Congratulations again on your beautiful! Brad! billboard!! ❤️

Marissa Thomas: I wanna add for us Afro ladies everything the first girl did is actually what we suppose to do lol because our hair is so dry and kinky /curly putting conditioner from scalp to ends in the shower is very important specifically deep conditioning as well . Also cotton shirts only , cotton towels will strip the hell out of your hair and we need to retain as much oil as we can . Okaii the end lol

NICA REGINE LICO: I love this reaction video of Brad Modo! I also have an almost waist length hair. I haven’t got any haircut since December 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. I’m planning to cut my hair to reduce split ends. Will definitely follow this routine and Brad’s suggestions.

Rae: Leaving the shampoo in - I was recommended to do this when the shampoo has active ingredients. Massaging it in cleans the hair, letting it sit on your scalp will allow the other ingredients (allegedly) to actually do something on your hair instead of just being washed out. Also, I noticed it can help breaking down the dirt and oils - as in, when I leave the shampoo in my hair is cleaner than if I had just shampooed and rinsed (which makes me need to shampoo a second time). For the cotton towels, they definitely can damage or give you a bad hair day depending on your hair type cotton towels on my wavy hair mean frizz all week long, and I am not at all aggressive with the towel.

A C: I live in a country with unclean water which is why I keep my anti dandruff shampoo in my hair for 5 mins. It’s the best tip a friend gave me. It really helps keep dandruff away.

Shacora René: This was very educational. Thank you for letting us know the rights and the wrongs. Could you do curly hair routines as well?

Alyssa Honnick: Brad, can you rate my hair care routine? ( I have long, dry, damaged wavy hair) 1. Moisturizing conditioner and shampoo 2. Deep condition 2-3x per week 3. Damage repair 2-3x per week 4. Leave in conditioner 3x per week 5. Curl control cream 4x per week 6. Comb with wide tooth comb 7. Air dry I wash my hair 3x per week bc my hair gets greasy after 2-3 days. I leave it in for 3ish mins. Also this 8s the order I do it in. Btw love your vids. Hope you reply Brad

Zoya tariq: I started watching brad mondo since last 2 weeks and i cant stop thank you for making it so informative and helpful most of us dont even have our basics down when it comes to hair and your videos definitely help❤️

zEropoint68: video idea? when you talked about breanna using a different type of hair oil in the summer than the winter, i thought it would be cool to see a breakdown of what different climates/weather types do to hair and what people could do to manage their hair under those conditions (or maybe even figure out how to work _with_ the weather to make their hair even better). like, what if it rains a lot where someone lives? what if it's hot? what if it's cold? what if it's dry? any suncare advice? i think that would be a very informative video.

Zoe Mandell: Please do a reaction to curly hair routines!!!! There are so many tips and tricks we would love to learn ❤️❤️

GirlArtistGeek: This inspired me. I think I'm going to do my own hair routine for long wavy hair. But if Brad Mondo ever watches it, he's probably going to get upset because I really don't pay much attention to hair care rules. :D

Marianne B: I've noticed something with oily hair. The unhealthier you eat, the faster your head will become oily. The more healthy, the longer you can go without washing your head. I might be wrong but I've"tested" this theory on me and everyone around me. It's been on point every time.

M E: Thank you for this learning experience! Thanks to genetics I naturally have thick hair and it grows super fast.. recently I have been VERY stressed managing my hair this summer and I have also developed headaches from wearing it up too much. Any who I think I will take a few of these tips to help with my hair until I can chop my hair off again

Lisa McGrath: oh my goodness thank you Brad for all u do and giving awesomely beautiful advice on my hair as well ✨

Laura Bastarache: Me filming my routine: I've been too depressed to wash my hair but I call it a ~ scalp reset ~

Emily Fitzgerald: That first video really educated me with what you say about the shampoo and conditioner and how to use them properly without breaking or making your hair greasy. Thank you so much!! And btw I love your videos

Sara Caballeros: Came across this channel and I just fell in love with it. Brad is so likeable, and awesome. So much great info. I have been washing my hair so wrong. No wonder my hair is shit so dead.

Babita Singh: 4:25 I think she left the shampoo in as some shampoos have ingredients that are nourishing for your hair and she wanted those to be absorbed.

Auxiliadora Trejos-Machado: I'd have loved to see a video with different hair types, specifically curly hair. Love the video regardless!

Fun_LittleAddi: I love how he greats his viewers as "beautiful" It literally makes my day

Abi Howe: Oh my goodness this was soooo eye-opening for me, I will be making quite a bit of changes to my hair care routine.

Anouk: ok but why is no one talking about how beautifully brad's color is fading

P. Williams: As someone who has had very long hair (like to the bottom of my butt/ tops of thighs) use a Mason Pearson brush! I know they're expensive but I only wash my hair once a week and use the boar bristles to pull the natural oils in my hair down to the ends, where it's needed. I recently cut a foot off, so it's shorter now, but still pretty long.. I regret cutting it, though. I'm glad to have it a bit shorter but I love long long hair!

Lina: please do more of these hair care videos!! I have wavy hair, have no idea how to care for it but this helped a lot!

R: Brad I watch your videos. I'm older than you, unfortunately. I wash my hair then put conditioner and clip it up while I wash my body. Conditioner stays in for about 5 minutes or more. I only jacked my hair up once. I bleeched it platinum. Reined my hair. I was smart, went to a salon. It took 4 hours and 3 dyes to get my hair acceptable . My stylist was pregnant. She never came back. I was so sad because she did such an awesome job.

Edely Designs: I personally did see a huge difference when I stoped using a regular towel! (&yes I would Pat it dry) I also saw an amazing difference when I started to bring my conditioner higher up! It did not make my hair extra oily… just SOFT and frizz free. I also found it beneficial to add shampoo to my ends every once in a while. Yes leftover shampoo from the scalp runs down… But when your hair is so long… sometimes it’s not enough! The cleaner I can get my hair, the better the conditioner latches on and the softer my hair is I think people need to experiment with their own hair! I used to follow so much advice I did not benefit me. I LOVE BRAD! I just wanted to give my opinion based off of personal experience.

Terri Roberts: A lot of brands recommend leaving their shampoos in for 5 minutes so I guess there is something to it. Some that I personally have seen recommend this are shampoos that are for damage repair, clarifying shampoos and anti dandruff shampoos (and of course the obvious purple shampoos) and I have never had any problems when doing this

Kitty Wetzel: I'd give them both 10! The proof is in the pudding. They both have gorgeous, healthy, long hair, so they deserve all the points!

mezuba: Can we talk about how amazing Brad’s skin looks in this video? ✨Glowing✨

Ashly Adkins: Hey brad I know that you use olaplex in your videos, but I would love to see/hear your opinions on the how these products work differently on different hair types. I have tried using olaplex bonding oil and my hair hates it. But loves the #3.

Veronica Marie: Give us a basic hair care routine !!!! Always seeing what not to do! So how about you give us a what to do basic hair care routine !

Stefani McClure: I leave my shampoo on for five minutes, regardless of whether it’s purple shampoo or not, because I personally feel it doesn’t get clean enough when it’s a quick wash. I do this for my 5 year old son’s hair as well, because I noticed a sweaty head smell after washing, but leaving it on a few minutes completely cleans the smell away every time!

Kamila Mukailova: This was cool! I was going to upload mine too but decided not to since I have a very basic one, but cool to see other people’s routines!

steeleru7 Burgh: I would have a blast with Brad as my hairstylist. He reminds me of a former stylist who passed away. We would hang out in the clubs, etc. I miss him so much

Morgan Lewis: I would love to see another video like this but with naturally course/curly hair wash day routines

Jocelyn Klarer: I wish I was brave enough to do a curly hair routine on camera. I’m pretty sure Brad would actually be slightly impressed with what most of us do.

itsjoanne.x: How gorgeous and smooth and shiny their hair looks! I need to get some more hair care products myself I think!

Mallory Lynn: I’d love for him to react to Jasmine Rae on Instagram. She teaches you how to hair train. And went weeks without watching her hair... she has beautiful hair!!!! It’s absolutely gorgeous, and long

NumbersToThePowerOf2: Be careful with OGX it made my hair start falling out. Same thing happened to my mom and a friend. It might work for others but I feel compelled to say something when that brand is mentioned.

SweetPeaFairy 22: I’d love to see him do a review of different dye brands like Arctic Fox or Manic Panic

Nappypuff: Who wats to see Brad do this as a series for all diffrent hair types? Straight, Wavy, Curly, Coily, Kinky.✨

Kinley Spotts: My routine is: Wash my hair every 3 days becaus Ethan's when it really gets oily, although I'll was it a day early if I REALLY need it. I use a dandruff shampoo and I make sure not to scrub too hard. Then, I use lukewarm water to rinse. Afterwards, I use a dandruff conditioner which is meant to be put on your scalp, so that's what I do. I leave it for 5-10 minutes depending on how much time I have. Then I rinse my hair and get out of the shower. I use a 100% cotton towel and wring out my hair. Usually my hair isn't super tangled after my shower, so I just comb it with my fingers, but if it is, I use a wet brush. I always do this before bed, so I let it air-dry while I'm sleeping. When I wake up, I brush through it, and because of my hair type, it ends up looking like I took a lot of effort to blow dry it and stuff like that.

always freezing: What really helped my dry irritated scalp was putting body lotion or conditioner and leaving it on for an hour before I wash my hair. The shampoo removes all the residue and oils from your roots, so it doesn't get extra greasy but it saaaaved my scalp tbh.

Evett C: When I worked construction and worked out daily I did wash my hair daily. When doing that an oil treatment on the weekend really makes your hair happy. I usually slept with it in and washed it out in the morning.

Brielle Beadle: I have curly hair and do literally everything you're "not supposed" to do. I shower every day (don't shampoo every day though just conditioner), I put the conditioner on my scalp, shampoo my ends sometimes. Style it with curly hair products every day. My hair is a little frizzy but it is super soft and shiny, I get compliments all the time! Doing this works for me ‍♀️

Sandra Curiel: Please do another video like this!! I nominate Audrey Victoria’s hair routine!!

Maya Gleich: me watching the first girl and knowing my hair is dry af from bleaching: starts aggressively touching my hair to make it more oily

Indrė Duobaitė: I've actually been washing and taking care of my hair perfectly since I was around 13/14 years old because at that age I was obsessed with beauty content. I would get a 10/10 if Brad Mondo would rate my routine based on this video. The only thing that was different is the fact that I shampoo my hair twice

Jo 74: Hi Brad my hair routine is different as i suffer with scalp psoriasis so i have to used medicated shampoo twice a week and i have long thick hair which i hate as ive had it all different lengths from long to short (0 blade back+sides) shorter than your hair sending love from the Uk England xx

Kelly Hale: I just saw this...I work at a wastewater plant, so I wash my hair daily. I wash and finger comb, then braid right in the shower. So my hair stays braided most of the time. I use ogx shampoo and conditioner mostly, and an arrangement oil on the braided hair, ends and mids, and I am quite happy with my hair. It's about 4foot Ling, no split ends, shiny and silky when unbranded, like when I go out.

Sarah Liljestrand: This video was really quite informative, I'll be making a lot of changes to my hair care routine after this

emily irene: brad inspired me to cut my hair. it went from past my hips to just past my collarbone with curtain bangs. this is what binging brad's videos do to me

Jenna: Idk for some reason I also leave my shampoo in (sit in my hair/scalp) because, I feel like it helps really break down the oils and dirt. It probably doesn’t help anymore than just immediately rinsing it off, but it makes me feel better so I do it :)

Summer Boiser: I would love a curly hair routine. I need to know how to work my daughter's hair.

Irene Z. Goodman: This was a fun video. Many of the tips would not work for type 4 hair. Gotta do another one for us Brad.

Lelli Marie: just tried super blue, LOVE LOVE LOVE! i would absolutely love to see a black dye in the future❤️

Krystal: Brad that peach color in your hair is doing wonders for your skin tone. You look so glowy!!

Lila Davis: I would love to see something like this but a curly hair routine. Mine is now waist length and has kind of hit a plateau. Also maybe an at home curly haircut tutorial.. thanks in advance Brad

KenzieHurlock: I honestly wonder what Brad would think of my hair routine. I don't wash my ends, only my scalp. I only apply conditioner to my mids and ends. I pat and squeeze my hair dry. He might think I use a little too much shampoo because I like to get real clean.

Petra Dobešková: Brad's bronzer is living his extra life.

Megan Fox: I double cleanse my hair with two different shampoos, never shampoo in circular motions and only use conditioner on my ends! Feel like I’m actually doing something right in life

Cookie C: I finally got my red hair dye. I can't wait to heal my hair while making it vibrant red again Thank you Brad❤️

Arielthemermaid151: Brad, my boyfriend showed me this news article the other day about OGX having lawsuits against them for people saying it made them start balding/ losing hair!! What’s the story? Please tell me this isn’t true haha

Kayla Evans: SCREAMING THANKYOU SOOOO MUCH !! I have long hair that is not naturally as thick as I want it to be I also struggle with frizz and dryness so I LOVE that I have some info on how to improve mine by the hair God himself

Elise Maritza: @glamtwinz334 have a bunch of long hair maintenance routines , both curly and straight. It’s really nice and mesmerizing to watch honestly . You should do another video watching theirs

Dayana: Theory…. Whenever he says, “ hi beautiful…” there is a mirror there and he is saying it to himself

Denise Fenstermacher: This video just gave me life. Also, this video by far is the best I've seen love the tips and techniques

mimi: the "hi beautiful" makes me so happy everytime!! omg I need brad to please react to micarah cutting her hair with toe nail clippers (I know this sounds insane but trust me!!)

Rebecca Cuthbertson: I wonder what Brad would say to @PrettyShepherd’s hair care routine because it’s pretty minimal and different compared to most and it’s crazy long!
