Rating some of the most used hair care products at target part two aussie has my ladies in the chokehold, and i want them to be freed. This one contains two harsh sulfates and a silicone in a shampoo one of the first products i was introduced to when i started. My natural hair journey is great for dry hair and it's to do the job, sis, okay, but why do i feel, like we've all tried this product? It contains a drying, alcohol and a silicone which i just feel like shouldn't be in a conditioner. Now this one fragrance is within the first five ingredients, so is the silicone and this product contains a drying alcohol,

Sunem Arreola: I'm going to say something as someone whose worked in beauty retail and am the nerd who reads cosmesutical studies.... Silicone, sulfates, alcohols, and parabens are not evil things to be avoided at all cost. They have purposes in people's routines because of their properties. Parabens are antimicrobial preservatives so mold doesn't grow in your products, sulfates are safe to use for product build up way better than the alternatives, alcohol can be used as a binding ingredient and is fine in a rinse off product, silicone helps seal the hair or be used for the slidability and are washable. An ingredient list doesn't reveal how they function in a formulation and the percentages would be harmful if you're using INDUSTRIAL amounts. And their names are actually umbrella terms! Alcohol? Sulfate? Which kind? If anything, consider what ingredients you want for the hair density/porosity/whether chemical or heat treated and also a person's lifestyle, and relative humidity of their area. This isn't to be rude, but having a "NO NEVER USE THIS" mentality wears people down because they don't know the true reason as to why their hair care isn't working for them or will struggle to find affordable products that are "safe". I've had clients come in scared and confused because they fear they what they don't understand after being told their routine that worked great for them is all "wrong".

J S: Silicones are not the devil and not all alcohols are evil. And natural/clean does not mean better. Please spread the word to the masses!

Angel Venus - Africa: My hair reacted negatively immediately to the Aussie frucise and oxy. On the first go

xoxorosequartz: back when i worse my hair curly aussie was my favorite, if i ever go back i would use their styling products

a Hoe: my hair used to look and smell so good with the aussie until i noticed excess hair loss. i’ve switched over the hask shampoo and conditioner now and it’s over twice the price but atleast my hair doesn’t fall out.

⭐️nyla!: only stuff i use from aussie is the coconut 3-minute miracle deep conditioner and the miracle curl oil

Tatyana Jordan: Ok but let’s be realistic here those products may not work for her hair but that’s not the case for everyone because every one has different hair and your hair has to accept a product in order for it to work. And I am talking from experience I have 3b hair and it has been a long journey for finding hair products and let me tell u it was a lot of money because some products were either drying my hair, they made my hair sticky and smelly, it weighed down my hair, or I had an allergic reaction to it. So when people review hair products people have to realize it is not scientifically proven for their review and what their saying they are saying these things based on there own personal opinions and having a more subjective review upon it. I use Aussie and the OGX products along with coconut oil products and that is what works for my hair and I have tried shea moisture coconut and hibiscus cream custard and I loved that product but it broke out on my face because I have very sensitive skin so I had to stop using it. So honestlydo what is right for you and your hair will thank you for it.
