Hey guys today, i'm going to show you how to find the shampoo soul mate of your dreams. With the perfect shampoo, your hair will look and feel better and you'll be able to go longer between washes, but the first rule is: do not fall in love with your high school sweetheart. We all see that couple we're like. Oh that's so cute. We love the story and that's great for humans when it comes to shampoos. Let'S be honest, you need to date around a little bit. Shampoo is very understanding. It doesn't care how many shampoos you've been with in the past or even what they smell like. It'S still going to love you no matter what so, let's get into it. If you don't know me, my name is chris. I own a hair salon called live, love locks. We try out every new hair product and bring the best ones to you. I make these videos because way too many people have unhealthy hair and i don't want you to be one of them. So people ask what's the best shampoo for wavy hair, what's the best shampoo for short, hair or long hair, and i just want to stop you right there, those things don't matter at all. They just don't matter, because the only thing that does matter is the way. Your hair responds to products i'll say that again when it comes to choosing products, the only thing that matters is how your hair responds to products it doesn't matter if your hair is wavy or short or long people really struggle with this. So let me give you a quick example: if someone came to you and asked you hey, what's the healthiest food for a tall person, you would say the same food, that's healthy for anybody else. The rules of the game aren't different based on height. It'S not like pizza and donuts magically become healthy if you reach a certain height, but in that same vein, different people should use different diets. Some people do better with a high carb diet. Some people do better with a low carb diet and quickly bringing this all back to hair. I'M going to show you what makes you different and which shampoo will unlock the best results for you. So for hair. The difference between us is our hair type, hair type. Basically, just describes how the hair responds to products aka. How does it make the hair look? How does it make the hair feel, for example, does a product make your hair feel gross after just one day, or does it still feel nice light and clean after three days? It'S a big difference and that's why we really need to know what your hair type is. So, if you would allow me to be shampoo matchmaker, let's learn a little about your hair and exactly what it needs. Then i'll introduce you to some very eligible shampoos, that love to travel are very ambitious, love long walks on the beach and are also a very good match for you. So, like we said earlier, it all comes down to hair type. That'S what we need to figure out right now, so i'm going to go ahead and describe them. So please go ahead and listen to figure out which one you are. The first of the three types is fine hair. It'S really difficult for fine hair to go longer than two days between washes. It'S also really hard to get volume and body. It tends to get oily and weigh down and be flat to your head. If you know exactly what i mean about that flat oily hair up here, you have fine hair 100, don't overthink it! You have fine hair. If you don't know what i mean, you probably don't have fine hair so keep watching you're, probably one of the other two types. The only way fine hair can go three or more days is if you have really really dialed in hair routine. So, if you're able to go three days between washes without any extra special care, you don't have fine hair. Let'S keep things moving with the next hair type, which is medium medium hair can typically go three to four days between washes with a bad shampoo. It may be closer to two days, but generally people with medium hair are like yeah. I can go three days. It gets a little oily, but i can make it work. Medium. Hair is also easy to get volume and body with it's not super flat. That'S more of a fine hair thing: medium hair! You usually have a little bit of volume pretty easily if you're, trying to figure out whether you're, fine or medium. The best way to tell is to look at your hair two days after you've washed it. If, after two days, you look like you just got out of a pool like your hair is completely flat to your head, then you have fine hair. But if, on day two, you have a little bit of a bump here, there's actually some volume and body and lift there. Then you have medium hair all right. Moving on to the third and final hair type, coarse hair is actually my favorite, because you can do so much with it. I'M not gon na bsu. This is actually the hardest hair type to learn, but once you get it down, it's actually amazing, coarse hair can go the longest without washing it can be anywhere from 5 to 14 days. It'S pretty dry in a good way. It'S not itchy or flaky. It'S just that the scalp doesn't produce that much extra oil, so it just doesn't get that gross coarse hair can be a little bit tricky because even if you can go 10 days between washes, you may not have ever realized that, because you never waited that long. Between washes so remember as a general rule, you don't want to wash your hair just because it's been a certain amount of days. You only want to wash your hair when it actually feels dirty now, if you're trying to decide whether you have coarse or medium hair, here's a really easy way to tell on day 4 after you've washed you're going to use a little bit of dry shampoo. If your hair goes back to feeling fresh and clean, that means you have coarse hair, but if your hair still feels like it needs to be washed and you're really really pushing it, that means you have medium hair all right so now, on to my favorite part, I'M going to bring out some really hot dates, for you guys right now date, night date, night, everybody so these which i'll show you in just a second, are the best of the best that we've found over the years. We'Re gon na do fine, hair first and for fine hair. I present you three different options which i'm about to show you and i actually really recommend polygamy. Here we already went over that fine hair struggles with oil, so i'm gon na highly recommend. You do two washes if you were my client, i would do your first wash with this redken's cleansing cream. It'S a clarifying shampoo, that's amazing, at removing oil. So what i would do is use like a half a shampoo of this, not even a full one. Just a half a shampoo of this just to soak up all the extra oil you'd be shocked by how much longer your hair stays clean. Just by doing that, little half shampoo with this guy, then you come in and do your second wash with one of these normal shampoos and the one you pick depends on how you like to wear your hair. If you blow dry or use a blow dry brush, i really recommend you use redken's volume injection. This is a super strong cleansing formula to get rid of all the oil, and it's very light so give you plenty of volume, won't weigh your hair down or make it feel greasy at all. But if you like the air dry, i would instead recommend boston and singapore from pulp riot. It'S weird names, but they're actually amazing. This isn't quite as strong of a cleanser as the volume ejection. So it leaves a little bit of oil in your hair, which is actually good because it gives a better air drying texture. So quick recap: if you blow dry or use a blow dry brush redken's volume injection. If you air, dry pulp riots, boston in singapore, all right, so we've set up all the fine haired people out there. Let'S move on to the next type, which is medium hair. The funny thing about medium hair is it has almost the exact same needs as fine hair. It just needs more, for instance, a blow-dry product that works great on fine hair will also work great on medium hair. You'Ll just want to use a little bit more. So, knowing that the eligible bachelors are still going to be exactly the same, redken's cleansing cream for getting rid of oil, redken's volume injection for if you blow dry or use a blow dry brush or if you air, dry pulp riots, boston and singapore. The main difference here and it's not huge - is the medium hair will use more of the conditioner than fine hair. Does fine hair will put it mostly on just the ends? Medium hair can go higher up with the conditioner. So again it's the same products used lightly. For fine hair and more liberally for medium hair, now moving on to the third and final hair type, i apologize to all the coarse hair people for making you wait for this moment, but let's go and get into it. As we said earlier, coarse hair should be going five or more days between washes and because of that, there's going to be extra oil and buildup in there, which means you should really be doing two washes. So if you were my client, i would always do your first wash with this redken's cleansing cream. It'S a clarifying shampoo, very, very strong, removes a lot of oil. It'S actually much more efficient, because this removes oil much better than regular shampoo. So save your regular shampoo use this for the tough stuff. For your second shampoo there's really no decision to be made because corsair loves hydration. You don't have to worry about how heavy or light it is. You just go with the best one and that will be moroccan rose, moisture repair. I love the way this makes coarse hair feel it's so good and it's extremely cleansing. So between that and your clarifying shampoo, it will do the job make your hair feel absolutely amazing. So hopefully that narrowed things down for you a lot. I was trying to take a world of a million shampoos and narrow it down to just the best ones. So hopefully i did that for you. Hopefully you can go straight to the good ones. Now the exact same ones, i would use on you. If you came to my salon, my job is matchmaker is on pause right now. It'S your job to go out on a couple dates with shampoo, so the links are in the description. If you have any questions, leave a comment and i'll get back to you. You

Merlina Rodas: The Redken cleansing cream combined with the volume injection shampoo and conditioner have changed my lifeee. I've been using this combo for almost a month now and I've already seen such a huge difference in my hair health! Thank you Chris!!! ♥

Jon DeFeo: Hi Chris - this channel has completely changed my hair from a frizzy, dry, crackly mess to the softest, shiniest it's ever been. That said, I have coarse hair but also some hairline recession and thinning. As a result, I've been using topical 5% minoxidil at night. Once it dries it gets kind of sticky but by morning it feels alright. I could probably easily go a week without washing, but I'm concerned about the minoxidil building up. Do you have any input for how often I might need to wash, or if it even matters? Thanks again!

Wimpernjunkie: I am on my second week of your "hair trinity" and I'm back in love with my hair! My fine hair used to be long to my elbow, and the top layer was completely due to breakage at ear level after I had to take strong pain killers mid 2020 (and also visiting one of the worst hair salons in Berlin). So basically I have been trying to grow my length back for two years now and it wouldn't grow past my shoulders. After finding you I did order Olaplex No. 3, only washed my hair after three days and religiously used Shampoo, hair mask, conditioner, leave in conditioner and hair oil. I kid you not, I can't stop touching my hair although I know I shouldn't It's so soft, glossy and bouncy! So thank you for your amazing content! Do you take suggestions for trying out new products? I love my Goldwell Just Smooth Shampoo, 60 second mask, conditioner and the 6 effects serum (leave in). It's a professional salon brand over here and I saw you can get it at Walmart. I'd love to hear your opinion about that.

Nikita Engelen: I've been using the red ken volume injection for a few months and i really love it. Because my hair still gets pretty greasy at day 2 i'm going to try this combo with the cleansing cream. Thanks for the tip!

Susan Hemme: Chris! Watching you has absolutely, positively revolutionized the health of my hair! I have spent my life thinking I had fine, hard to grow hair. Through watching you and using your Trinity hair care system, I think I have come to understand I have neither! I am, however, having a tough time deciding if I have medium or course hair. I can easily go 6-7 days without washing my hair.....does this fact automatically qualify me for course? Does hair diameter matter in this equation? Even though I can easily go a week without washing my hair, it does not hold a curl very well. Might this be more related to using the wrong products? Regardless, I am definitely on the right track to getting the most out of my hair, and it is all due to you!!!

Jessica: Why are you so amazing!? I've got wavy/curly hair and I've been trying to stick with the "curly girl method". I decided to give the redken a shot because the CG method makes my hair oily so quick. This has been a miracle! My hair is lasting longer, full of volume, and curls even look better! Thank you so much.

Lizzy N: I love your videos because you’re giving real advice and not pushing a certain product.

Susan Harmon: Chris, do you have a shampoo/conditioner recommendation for silver/gray hair? My go-to brightening shampoo was reformulated and now it’s awful. I’m still looking for a replacement and would love a recommendation. Thank you for your fun and informative videos.

SOOTS - Staying Out Of The Spotlight: This is the best definition of fine hair I've ever seen; the flat-to-the-head thing, that it needs washing very regularly or the roots (and then shafts) can get oily and make it look rather lank quite quickly. I'm a guy who always assumed that he had course hair mainly because it's quite thick and often frizzes-up, and it's only that a new hairdresser dubbed it 'fine' recently that I started thinking otherwise. The only thing is, my hair can feel quite dry a lot of the time, so it's a bit paradoxical.

Faith Kleinschmidt: These are great options. Plus I've very rarely gone to a salon. Maybe less than 5 times. When I do go, if I have products that really work for me, I take it with me. I like showing them stuff that works(not telling them how to do their job but more of the kind of products I've been used to). I have medium 2c wavy hair. Those times I've had hair done they appreciate feedback. It helps them hone their craft better. Everyone's different but its definitely part of the hair journey.

Jayce Scanlon: OMG YES he described my hair PERFECTLY! Fine, but after a couple days gets flat! Thank you so much

Boojama Jan: I have a question: does age affect your description of hair types? I am 69 and have always been told my hair is fine. It is on the silky side, it is challenging to achieve volume and often does not want to hold curl. If I don't use product and let it do what it wants it is flat. When I was younger I had somewhat oily hair. Now that I am older I find that I can get three days out of a hair wash. The third day is flatter and a more difficult to make look good but I can do it. My guess would be that my hair IS fine even though I almost always get three days out of a wash. So, just wondering what you would say to help me get the correct shampoo. I have a little bit of white or silver coming in and that hair is very slightly wavy, not coarse or tight curls like some older women get.

MAG: Hello Chris! Thank you so much for your videos. I have very thin, fine hair and I am having a LOT of shedding and hair loss lately. I was wondering if you have any recommendations for shampoo, conditioner, or brands for hair growth while strengthening the rest? Thank you SO much! ♥️

Sarah A: I'm glad that you mention using the clarifying shampoo for oil because I don't have oily hair or an oily scalp, but I do practise regular Indian style hair oiling so I oil my hair and scalp once every week, and then I need to get rid of all that oil.

HarrietRB: Thank you Chris!! this was helpful. All though your videos are short, they are very informative!!

Lynn Risor: Okay Chris, just got my Pulp Riot anD OMG!! I prefer not to blow dry my hair. This shampoo HANDS DOWN is totally awesome for that! Thank you so much for the information- I’m loving my hair!!

Skygazer: I have tried Chris's tips on the 3 steps for hair but my hair, but it is still bone dry and frizzy. Just watching this video as got me thinking. I had covid in 2020 and was poorly for approx 14 months ( frightening experience) I didnt give my hair any thought at the time but in 2021 I notice my fine, slightly wavy hair was now thick waves and unmanageable. I used to be able to dry my hair straight, leaving a slight wave and it was smooth and shiny. My hair now is full of frizz and looks so dry, even have hair that has broken off further up my head. After having covid i had tests and was diagnosed with 2 incurable lung diseases and am now on daily medication. I am wondering whether it has been the health issues or the stress of going from a fit and active woman to someone who now has to be careful has affected my hair. I am grateful for still being around and everyone says it doesn't matter, but the state of my hair now really upsets me

Shaz: Chris I love❤ your watching your videos. I love ❤how you explain everything and most importantly your very honest bout the products. Your so spot on with everything you say. Thank you Wishing you a blessed and happy 2023

MrAshtonone: Hi Chris, I have fine color-treated hair that is dry (needs quality hydration)and was breaking and falling out all over my head (about 50% loss) in total density and could be recovering from maybe Telogen Effluvium (not formally diagnosed), but I did have C-Diff essentially non-stop from Sept - March with three hospitalizations before I went under the care of a specialist in December for proper treatment and recovery. I am thinking TE since I experienced severe rapid weight loss and malnutrition and was under a great deal of stress and those can cause TE. Although I was cleared by February/early March my body took a beating and my work-related stress levels remained high. Since my hair seemed to be breaking I changed from Redken Magnetics and Pureology Strength Cure (PSC was my primary) and started using B&B Bond Builder the fall increased rapidly and became noticeable enough between salon visits from March to early May for my stylist to ask what happened with my hair. (I was using B&B exclusively when this process sped up and the majority of my hair loss occurred over 6-7 weeks), although it was occurring from when I first got sick I am wondering if the hydrogenated Castor Oil in the B&B products would be an issue. Since I stopped using B&B products the loss slowed to a crawl. I know what is gone is gone until it re-grows and my stylist and I both can feel thicker hair in the crown so it is starting to grow. I want to care for it as best as possible and keep as much as I can without cutting more off than I have. My hair loves oil, my scalp is normal and I do not want sulfates in my products as they will strip my color. I recently went away from my bronde to more blonde tones without bleaching to cover up as much of the loss as possible and did have to cut about two inches off my length to even everything up. I am looking for a different Salon Quality shampoo and Conditioner and do not want to try the Redken product suggested as it is too strong and color stripping. Any other suggestions? I already own the Pureology leave-in and use it properly only after shampooing and conditioner and started using Olaplex 3 once a week again since I am not using the B&B line (Gold bottles). Sorry for the extensive probably TMI question, I really don't want to lose more hair and am understandably nervous, especially when I see reviews on products stating people have lost their hair and it may or may not be product related. I wash, condition, and blowdry and will use a brush if styling, and it will stay great for about two to three days. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Lynn

Joelene (Jo): Hi Chris! What are your thoughts on the tresemme pro pure shampoo and conditioners? The 2 I have found are damage recovery and micellar moisture. I only saw them once at Ulta and bought them because I’m always on the hunt for sulfate and paraben free products (I have a rainbow mane) that won’t wash out my color. I’ve used them a few times and my hair always feels really clean but I wanted to know your professional opinion. (My go tos are generally Pulp riot and/or the B3 Brazilian color care products, and of course olaplex)

Nikki2370: Thanks Chris! It definitely helps figure out what I need in my routine!

Dawn Paraskos: Hi Chris - my hair doesn’t seem to fit with any of the shampoos apart from the Pulp Riot, which you can’t get here in the UK. My hair is fairly short (chin length), is very fine, coloured, dry and I suffer with a flaky scalp. I only wash it every 5 - 7 days, as I struggle to get volume and the longer it goes between washes, the more body it seems to have. I blow dry it (not very well - I’m a bit hopeless when it comes to blow drying), my hair feels very straw-like even from the first wash. The shampoo and conditioner I’m using at the moment is L’Oreal colour expert. Could you give me a suggestion as to what may work for me? I’m sorry this is such a long message. Thanks very much - Dawn

Scandalous, heavenly Hollywood: I use redken color extended magnetics. Been using it for years and I swear by it. I can go 4-5 days without having to wash my hair again. Also I can go at least 3 months before having to color my hair to get rid of gray.

Nilda Cabrera: Amazing !!!!! I went to buy this combo shampoo today and I loved the volume…. It WORKS and feel real good . Thank you

Em M: My mum complains when I go to hers because her bathroom is suddenly filled with massive salon size bottles of Milkshake Moisture Plus (shampoo and conditioner - Amazon sells the salon sizes and it works out so much cheaper!), Olaplex 2 (got a two litre bottle from an ex-mobile stylist), Olaplex 4C, 6 and 7 Honestly the Milkshake products are the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used.

Christy Hicks: Hi Chris! I just found your videos a couple weeks ago and wish I had found them sooner!! I use the Olaplex system and now I realize I wasted a ton of money. I have switched to the Briogeo product line but have noticed that it is stripping the color from my hair even though it claims to be color save. I have medium hair that is dyed purple. I love my color but since my natural color a chestnut brown I had to bleach my hair is that dried it out pretty badly. It is on the path to being repaired now I want to maintain both the health and color. I do revolve but do not bleach unless I really have to. Can you please suggest a good line of products that will help with this? I most need shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, leave in and heat protectant that will maintain my color and keep my hair as healthy as possible. Thanks-Christy

Yiyin Li: Hi Chris, I been watching all your videos, Thanks for all the great tips. so, my hair type is between medium and coarse I believe, but my scalp is oily, it smells bad even the next day after wash. do you have any suggestions for oily scalp? I just bought the redken clarifying cream and also Morracoil moisture repair shampoo and conditioner, same time I am using olaplex 6 and 7. those are great products! Thanks!

Ms Mo: Chris , what do you recommend for someone with course hair who is in menopause? I sweat sometimes so bad at night that my hair is drenched & I have to wash it.

Sarah c: I unfortunately found your videos right after ordering the fine hair shampoo conditioner and leave in from biologe and now I'm wishing I'd gotten the products from your list instead, it's still professional shampoo for my hair type and I'm using avacado oil on my ends already so hopefully I'm not going to be damaging my hair till I use up my $100 of products lol

Michelle J: Hi Chris, I’m a member of the fine hair club and would love to know your opinion on shampoo bars? I really prefer the concept of bars over liquids because I travel a lot and it’s just wayyy easier to manage. I bought the hibar maintain shampoo and conditioner and I like it, but I still can’t manage to go a day without washing me hair. Is there any way for me to get to 2-3 days without washing my hair with hibar or another shampoo bar?

Nicole: Hey Chris (and hair fans). Has anyone tried the Pureology shampoo and conditioner (hydrate sheer)? I see there is a bundle on sephora with the hyrdate sheer shampoo, conditioner and the leave in color fanatic spray. Thoughts? I have thick, somewhat dry hair. I do go 3-4 days between washes as is.

FailsafeZero: Wow, I always assumed fine meant thin and my hair is really thick, but it's exactly how you described, it gets oily quick. Really eye opening.

notahamster: Paul Mitchell Lavender Mint shampoo and conditioner with moisture milk leave in conditioner is what I use for coarse hair. Makes it soft and full of movement But gonna try that Redken cleansing cream

Elexis Gatewood: Hi Chris! What if I want volume in my roots but want sleek and shiny ends? I have fine and oily hair. Would I still use both the volume shampoo and conditioner, or should I mix and match?

GasLite: So as someone who lives in Florida and works out a lot... My hair tends to get full of sweat and gross what would you recommend me to do? I have medium long hair if for whatever reason I don't workout for a week my hair doesn't get too bad until around the 4th day but if I do workout a lot it's usually the second day. So is it just until I need to wash it and not go by days?

private private: I used no.3 then Boston Pulp Riot & followed up w/ no.2 . The results are phenomenal!! Thanks @ blowout professor!

Flor B: Hi Chris! Could you recommend an alternative for the redken Volume injection? I live in Uruguay and can't find those products here (the clarifying shampoo I can find). I have fine hair. Thank you

Jordan McClifton: Heyo- is there a cruelty free option you'd recommend for fine to medium hair?

Miranda Burke: Should you use clarifying shampoo on your ends? Also do you have a recommendation for vegan/cruelty free clarifying shampoos?

Adrija Chatterjee: I wish there was some option for Indian market like this.. your option seem to be pretty authentic and reliable.. If you catch hold of any product similar to the Indian hair . Do make a video .. pulp riot is not familiar to Indian market yet...!! I am binge watching your video today

Zeth: My only concern using clarifying shampoo on a colored hair is that it will strip the color out faster

xYumuX: My hair used to last like a week without washing 2-3 years ago. But now it starts to get oily at the roots on day 3 and it gets pretty bad at day 5. I don't know if I just need a clarifying shampoo or just to switch up my routine altogether.

christy nall-mathis: I’ve always had coarse hair and I love you it. I stopped coloring my brunette hair when I turned 50. Is there a purple shampoo you would recommend for me? Thank you so much for your advise and I’ve already learnt so much from your videos! God Bless!

Lara Keller: My hair exhibits behavior of your course description but my hair is truly fine and medium mixed. The difference? I have 3b/3c very curly hair (half Mexican here but I look totally white). I do have issues with root volume also. Would love to know if you have recommendations for curly haired girls trying to stay straight and/or smooth

Selene A: I noticed the Pulp Riot products don’t have as good of reviews as the Redken products. And neither offer travel/sample size to try out. I typically air dry my medium hair, so I was planning to try your recommendation for Boston & Singapore S&C. I hesitated, however due to the reviews/star ratings. I plan to start blow drying at some point, so I may go with the Redken instead, as their reviews are higher. Is this something I should ignore? Thank you! Just found your channel and love it!

Laura Sortwell: I have a super sensitive scalp and have fine hair (that's now bleached). Do the products you recommend generally do well with those sensitive to some chemicals? It's hit or miss with me but I can get irritation from products professionals swear by. Cleaner the better but I want products that work. Thank you for all of your videos!

FluffyWhiteCats: Redken Volume Injection is one of the worst shampoos I have ever used. I have fine hair but I have lots of it, and I usually have great volume when I wash my hair but it only lasts for a few hours. With this shampoo though, my hair was super flat even right after washing, it made my scalp very itchy and my hair started tangling and getting knots almost right from the roots, which never happened in my life. I was pairing it with the Volume Injection conditioner, shampooed my hair twice following your advice from another video. In the end, after using about 80% of the shampoo, I tossed it in the trash.

Jodi P: I'm curious what you would recommend for absolutely having to shampoo every day. I work outside all year round and get physically dirty every day. Dirt, dust, grass etc.. I can't skip washing due to that. I did order the leave in conditioner this morning and I have olapex oil already. I do use both the olapex shampoo and conditioner (I have fine to medium hair) but I do not find them to be heavy on my hair. My hair is currently just past shoulder length. I am struggling with hair loss after having a perm in 2020 then getting COVID immediately after that. It's been just over 2 years and my hair isn't rebounding. I used to have butt length hair, but it became sparse and thin due to breakage. I don't have any of the permed hair left, but I do have color treated hair. It's pretty rare that I don't wash my hair every day because of the nature of my job, but I skip when I'm able to. I don't blow dry or use any heat on my hair.

Taytay Queen: Man Idk how many I’ve tried I’ve never found a shampoo that both keeps my hair clean for 3 days and also keep it smooth and hydrated. I always have to choose between the 2.

Murder Mittens NYC: Can you recommend some shampoos and conditioners without fragrance? The routine is super helpful and its brilliant youve put all this in one place. Thank you for that. Maybe its time for you to make your own line of products!

Kari Baker: Hey, love your videos, Chris. I have a question for you. So I have coarse, wavy/curly hair. My issue is I have a well and, therefore, use well water to wash my hair. My water is very hard and from what I understand there is a lot of salt and calcium in my water. What do you recommend as far as hair care goes for somebody with my type of hair with water like mine.

Paulo Rosa: Hey Chris, do you have any alternatives for pulp riot? because it’s very hard to find them here in Europe.. I bought the redken volume injection but its not doing for me cause I love to let my hair air dry! Thank you

Sylvia Martinez: Hi Chris. I love your videos. What a treasured find. I have medium colored treated hair with highlights. I use professional grade purple shampoo to tone the brassiness. What shampoo do you recommend that doesn’t have sodium laureth sulfate to fade my color. I usually blow dry my hair before styling it. Thank you.

Alison Mulligan: This was excellent and super informative. I’m in the uk and have fine to medium hair but we can’t buy pulp riot shampoo and conditioner here. Do you happen to have an alternate that sells in the uk? Thanks ❤

linda portis: Hi Chris thank you so much for your help. Please give your thoughts on the necessity of a cold water rinse after shampooing. Thank you again

sukriti banerjee: Could you please recommend some ingredients/other things people from other parts of the world can look out for when talking about products? It would be really helpful in figuring out what will likely work for us

Brinley Lowe: Hi Chris! Love your channel. I dye my hair red and have coarse hair. Should I use a clarifying shampoo?

Donna Halstead: Can u do a video on naturally curly hair care?? I struggle with all the curl products and rules about sulfates and silicones in curly girl method.. if I use too hydrating products it falls limp .. if not enough it’s dry and poor curl definition .. it’s definitely a challenge!!

Sarah P: How often can we use the redken cleansing cream and volume injection shampoo for fine and oily scalp? Are these prodcuts colour safe and can they be used daily?

Lulu: Does thickness matter too? When I grab my hair together for a ponytail it feels really thin. So I always assumed I have fine hair. But I can easily go 4 days without a wash. Volume is never a problem too, I have curly 3C hair.

Mateen Azeez: This was very helpful, it’s time to take care of your hair as much as skin! Thank you~

kyliee c.: Hi chris! I’ve been eyeing the redken all soft shampoo. But I don’t know if its cleansing enough. Could you maybe tell me more about the product if you know how it makes course hair feel?

Penka Chineva: I have course hair. I always washed my hair once a week with no problems. People always asked what I do to my hair that is so shiny and long. And I did nothing. It's just mother nature. My children have the same hair too. The only bad thing is that is difficult to make different hair styles. These videos on YouTube never work on me because the hair is too much.

Jessy Humann: Hey Chris! I bought the Redken shampoo and conditioner and love how they make my hair feel but I’m concerned about the ingredients and fragrance in them. I get really bad headaches from using them; can you recommend a professional shampoo brand that might have less toxic ingredients? Thank you so much

I P: hi there! I have fine hair that tend to get oily in 1-2 days. I followed your recommendation and bought the “trinity” products and also washed my hair with the technique you suggested, hoping that I wouldn’t need to wash them that often. However, nothing changed, my scalp unfortunately still get oily after 1-2 days. What am i doing wrong?

Will Brown: Thank You!.... I just found your channel and I absolutely love your honesty! ❤

Kay Tom: You’re the best thank you for all the info! Very helpful

Sarah A: My hair behaves more like medium hair, but it's typed by the hair type thingee system (you know, 1a-4c fine medium or coarse) as coarse, because each hair strand is sooooo thick it's like a rope or a wire, I can wrap one strand around your arm and you can clearly see it AND feel it, you know southeast Asian-Pacific Islander type hair. The longer I go without washing it the more volume it acquires so third day hair looks soooo much better than just washed hair, just washed hair is so squeaky clean it's too smooth and silky and just lies flat. But I have lots of dandruff so I can't go more than 3 days without washing it because then it gets flaky and itchy, so in that sense it behaves more like medium hair. Would products for medium hair or coarse hair be better for me?

Christina Franqui: Hi Chris, I just started watching your channel and I love it. I’ve already bought some of the products you recommended but I’m curious to know how you feel about Briogeo

Erin C: What about if you have fine hair, oily roots with dry scalp that flakes up but dry ends? Do you wash hair with volumizing shampoo and condition with damage protection type conditioner? Or opposite? Shampoo with a damage type shampoo and condition with a volume conditioner? What do you think about mixing these two types?

Victoria🌸: Hi Chris, what do you think about Redken Amino Mint shampoo for fine oily hair in combination with Redken Injection shampoo and conditioner? I live in Europe (Slovenija) and I can't find the Redken cleansing cream. Thank you for all your very helpful videos!!

Suzanne DeGolian: Is there a noticeable difference using Pulp Riot Boston Volumizing Shampoo vs. Redken Volume Injection? I have medium hair, but don’t use any heat styling?

Yulimar Vildosola: I’ve used the Redken shampoo and conditioner and the next day my hair is extremely oily. Do you have another recommendation? I’ve watched all of your videos and wash my hair as I should. I even use a clarifying shampoo

Broken Soul: Which leave in conditioner do you think is the best choise for fine, frizzy hair that's not pureology color fanatic? Before you say it's the best, I know, but it's hard to get my hands on it were I leave so before it arrives(or when it's out of stock) I still want to use a leave in conditioner. What do you think about these: Redken 25 benefits, Ouai leave in conditioner, Briogeo farewell frizz conditioning spray, Aveda nutri plenish, Aveda cherry almond, Shea moisture Manuka honey and yogurt, Not your mother's, Moroccanoil, Gisou, Wella volumize, L'Oréal professionnel serie expert vitamino color 10 in 1 I just need one that gets the job done before I can purchase the pureology one in a couple of weeks. It will also take longer because of shipping. If you know of another available in Europe please let me know

Katy Kennedy: Can the ‘coarse’ hair products be used safely in naturally gray hair?? Thank you so much!!!

Sarah A: Is there a professional shampoo you could recommend for people with dandruff? So I can go more days without washing my hair, because my hair doesn't need washing very often but my flaky itchy dandruffy scalp does.

Narconia: What is your opinion on Redken's acidic bonding concentrate?

Maya Ferra: hey chris! really interested in buying your products from your links however I do not live in the US :( will you be offering worldwide shipping as I can't seem to get ahold of them anywhere else

Brenda S: I've been using the very expensive Wen brand and I am very disappointed in it. I can't go more than 2 days before my scalp feels gross, and I struggle big time keeping my curls from frizzing. My next purchase will be the Redken.

Florensce: Since I live in the Netherlands there is not an option to buy the products. Also not on other sites. I hope one day there will be products that are kinda similar to these...

mzvanity88: Wish we could get the Boston and Singapore in aus. Any other recommendations for fine / air dry ?

Buddha: Any other way we can tell whether we have fine or medium hair without having to not rinse for at least 2 days?

Leela T.: Do you have specific suggestions for color treated hair?

Shaz: Chris what are your thoughts on L’oreal products? As they used in salons too.

PS Mauney: Thank you for an informative and entertaining video!

Ana Monteiro: How about solid shampoo options for fine hair? Are there any? Thank you!!

Brittany Swanton: Best hair information, hands down. Thank you!

كل من عليها فان: Yeah, I can go 14 days without washing my hair. I feel once a week is too early because my hair is still dry and holding it shape.

Kay Tom: What about the biolage volume shampoo for thin hair? I’ve been using that one but if you say redken is better the pink one I will def try!

Tracy Kirkpatrick: How do you feel about Nioxin for people with thinning hair? I already have fine, thin hair but with PCOS and hypothyroid, my hair is thinning already in my late 30s.

Neurocat88: Omg my hair is so coarse and frizzy. I cannot wait to try the Moroccanoil shampoo and conditioner. Thank you for these recommendations

xJoleneXx: So.. can you also be in between of the hairtypes? I feel like I'm in the middle of medium and coarse. It's just that sometimes I can go without cleaning for a week or more and other times I can't..

Aapplebum: I have coarse curly hair and hone of this is correct for me. I would never go 10 days or use dry shampoo. Shivers. Curly hair is a different beast altogether.

Lexi Jones: I don’t know what happened. I used the Redken Volume- it lathered amazingly then I tried the leav-in Pureolgy. I have never had such awful static. Before I return it. Going to use it without the leave in. And use something else with the leave in to see which one it is. I bought the extreme length conditioner. Going to try that next wash. It’s all trial and error. I did air dry like I always do- so maybe I need the other one you suggested.

Iris Solano: I’ve gone crazy looking for the Redken Volume Injection in Mexico. It seems like they have all other Redken products but they don’t have this one . Do you have any other recommendation for the Redken Volume injection?

LuLu: Can you please recommend natural shampoo and conditioner for medium hair. I have a very sensitive scalp, and I also get migraines from strong scents!! Thanks

anna zummo: I’ve been following ur videos n u mention different shampoos n some that do the same thing just different companies. Which is the best shampoo for medium hair. Yes I know u mentioned reskin, great product, but what other shampoo n conditioner can u use for medium hair

L T: Hey! Is there another leave in conditioner you can recommend please? Pureology is really difficult to find in the UK at the moment, thanks!

ToShi Star: Can you please recommend secondary and third levels of shampoo and conditioner! What about brands like joico? Aquage? Nexxus? Etc...

Alanna Gormley: Would the Redken Volume Injection Shampoo be bad for people with bonded/ microbead hair extensions, as the silicone could cause the beads to slip out?
