Hi guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel dang, i'm looking a bit different, though just a bit different. So today's the day that i'm finally gon na film a video that i've been wanting to film for a time and it's, why is your type 4 hair? Not growing? Let'S talk about it so girl. I know the struggle. I know the struggle when you look into the mirror three months: four months, five months later and just like yo, i'm not seeing growth, i'm not seeing my hair growing, it's like the same length as it was a year ago. What am i doing wrong? So i have eight reasons why i personally think your hair might not be growing and yeah just hear me out so first off, let me just introduce you to my hair. This is my hair. This is um it's. It is 100 type 4. I would say around 70 4c, 20, 4b and maybe 10 4a at the back, but like in this state, just know it's frizzy and like it just never actually holds texture so yeah. I am a type 4 hair person number one. This is, i think, the most fundamental thing that helped me with growing my hair and i think, can help you is ditch the combs. Ditch the flipping combs, i'm telling you i just i rarely brush my hair. I think i can count on my hands. The number of times i brush my hair in the ear like does this look like it wants to be brushed like i'm not going to get anything through this bush like it's just not gon na happen, and if i do get something through, it's gon na cause. A lot of breakage, it's gon na cause a lot of pain to me, and why am i doing it like when my hair itself is like yo? Just let me live like it, just let me grow, so i really advocate for using your fingers as a way of detangling and not using a comb. I understand that is hard for some people, because you don't have patience. It takes a bit longer your fingers, but girl. If you want your hair to grow, you got to put in the work and ditch the combs. You can use them sometimes, but if you are using combs, please use wide tooth combs. I had to get you an example come on, so if i'm ever brushing my hair, this is the size that i'm going to go for to brush my hair. I'M not going to go any smaller than this or something like this, not this side. This side is just way too hectic. I mean if you have a looser curl pattern. You can go for that, but me personally, i can so i really really really really rarely brush my hair. I just use my fingers and i have my hair up in protective styles - a lot i'm going to get into that. Also just to add on to the brush in your hair. You got to be gentle, come on like african afro type hair, it's coarse, but it's sweet like it's like. I need some love. You know you need to love your hair. You need to treat it like. You know you can't be nah. You can't be doing that. You need to be, you know you got to be gentle, you got to be, you got to feel the hair. You got to hear the hair talking to you. This is all bull, but what i mean is you got ta feel your hair. You got ta feel. Okay, i have a knot here. Let me go, let me untangle it not. Let me get my brush and just like yank through it like. Oh, i hate going into the salon. I have ptsd going into a salon and just the the women just getting on my hair and just like ripping out my hair, and i can hear it and i can't say anything about it and like. I know that my years of growth are being taken away. In that one salon session - and it hurts me so please please - please be gentle with your hair love. It don't use brushes as much number two take your hair into your own hands. This is one of the biggest tips that i can give you and reasons why your hair might not be growing you're going to the salon and the women there don't give a crap about your hair. They don't care if they rip out a couple strands like it's. Not it's not on their head, put your own hands to your hair. Do your own hair brush your own hair, wash your own hair! If you have the opportunity braid, your own hair, no one else is going to love your hair as much as you do. So if you take the time to learn how to do your own hair and do it actually, then you're gon na you're gon na see growth, because it's your hair. If i went to the salon like this, i'm telling you i can just feel the pain. I just know they wouldn't know how to handle just the dryness and everything. Oh guys. I can already feel it. So i really took two three years. Three years ago i took my hair into my own hands. I i don't go to the salon. Salons are not on my list. I never go there. I save i wouldn't say i save time because i spend a lot of time, but it's like it's worth the time and effort that i put in to get healthy hair and to not spend so much money on somebody who doesn't even care about my hair number. Three, you switch up your hairstyles every flipping week, guys you don't need to be switching up. Your hair every week get a hairstyle that you like that can last you. Maybe i don't know three weeks. Maybe a month a month would be the best and just like keep that hairstyle and like rotate, a couple that you like, maybe you like sengli's twists, have those you like box, braids lovely put those in your hair. Oh you like cornrows, corner cro, cornrow, your hair wow, i can't say cornrow corn row your hair and keep it in cornrows for a while, because, like your hair doesn't need to be manipulated all the time and if your hair isn't growing you're, probably doing way too Much guys look at it, it just wants to flipping live it just wants to live. Why are we trying to restrain it and do this and do that every flipping week nah chill out chill out let the hair grow. Let it look a bit crazy, sometimes put it in braids for a couple of weeks. You know, but don't be doing too much, don't be doing too much. If you have your your hair in an afro all the time, i can tell you this is my next point. It'S not very good, like it's genuinely, not good for your hair, like i would never in my life leave my hair like this. For more than a couple of days like i'm, losing moisture, it's getting super dry. I at any moment my hair can just break this. Just gives me anxiety, like this right now, whoo anxiety, like my hands, when i just go like that, i need to braid this up. I need to do something because this is just a lot for me. So definitely if you're somebody who likes afros, i'm sorry to tell you. But i think that if you have your hair in an afro all the time, it's not that good for your hair you're not going to see a lot of growth, because even just doing like this dang like i can see breaking breakage sometimes. And that, like gives me anxiety, because i'm like no, no, no, let me tie it up. I don't want it out like this. So for you know once in a while, have your hair out big? Have it be like a statement be like yo i'm here? This is my hair. You don't know why you can do that, but you don't need to be big girl, afro, big girl, afro, big afro girl. Every day you don't need to do that. You know keep your hair inside, let it shine when it wants to, but not don't be afro girl every day. I'Ve stopped counting because guys, i don't remember what i know there are eight points, just know their airpoints in this video. But i don't remember what point i'm at so. The next point i'm going to is heat. Obviously your hair doesn't want your hair. Doesn'T like heat um, so blow drying it too much straightening your hair, a lot, not good, don't do it. I would say maximum once a month you can use actual heat on your hair, like like i'm, trying to straighten it or blow drying it a lot. But i would say: that's like maximum try and try and go like less than that, because if you keep constantly putting heat onto your hair you're, making your hair strands weaker and like it just it's not good and you can get heat damage. Of course, where your hair isn't curly anymore, and it just is limp - we don't want that now at this point yeah. This is that this one actually gets me kind of annoyed yeah, because people be talking about this point like it's a lifesaver. Let me tell you right now: people who say cut your hair, so it can grow faster. My g, i understand the idea, but i don't understand the logic. Your strands are going to be really healthy, but your hair is not going to grosses. It'S not going to go faster because what you do to the end of the strands doesn't make the base grow faster, there's nothing! You can do to physically make your hair grow faster unless you're actually doing it internally like taking vitamins or whatever people. Do i don't? Even know, but you can't make your hair actually physically grow. What you need to do is you need to keep these ends there, like that's the whole point of having hair grow. You want these. These are your most precious parts. You'Re flipping ends of your hair. They'Ve been on your head for the longest. You want to keep them there. You don't want to be chopping them off every month for sure. If you have split ends, if you have dry ends cut them, you know cut them once in a while, and i do it maybe twice a year. That'S when i like cut a centimeter off or something like that. But if i want my hair to grow, why the heck am i going snip snip, snip snip cut it cut it cut it cut it cut it nah. You don't want to be doing that. People argue this point. Don'T make sense to me. Go you know, go read a science book doesn't make sense. Next is people who love oil but not moisture oil? Doesn'T equal, moisture, moisture equals water? You can't be putting oil into your hair would like. I cannot go right now and put oil in my hair, coconut oil, castor oil. We hear so much about oh jamaican, black, castor oil, yeah, that's a great thing yeah, but if you're putting it on dry ass hair, it's not going to help you out like this. Is not going to help you out because it's like you're you're, putting it on dry hair, so your hair is still going to be dry. It'S just going to be dry and oily. So it's going to break oily. You want moisture m-o-i-s-t-u-r-e. I hope that was the right spelling, because that would be embarrassing moisture and then you want to slap the oil on so moisture means water, spritz, some water on there use a leave-in conditioner, and then you want to get some oil, oh put it on there. There. You go, the oil is there to seal in the moisture, not the other way around. You need the oil after you have the moisture. The oil can't bring the moisture and moisture is one of the most key things in hair growth, because your hair needs to be healthy to grow and it needs moisture to grow because if you have dry, hair you're, just gon na pick out your hair, like this And it's gon na break and breakage equals to shorter hair, which equals to no growth. Next, don't pick at your hair and i'm i'm guilty of this. I pick up my hair um. Sometimes that's why i like to keep it in box braids, but even in box braids i like to like, go and like pick at it. So i do do this, which is a bit bad. So basically, as you can see here at the front, i have some hair, i'm showing an example like this piece of hair, like it's just shorter than the rest of my hair. It'S because i love to pick at these temple areas of my hair. I want you to know that type 4 hair - it can be quite fragile, so you don't want to be playing around your hair all the time. That'S just not that's not it hi guys, uh just from the future here, just a real quick thing. I was taking a shower and washing my hair, and this just reminded me don't use shampoo so much. I can tell you. I actually really really rarely use shampoo. I'Ve had my shampoo bottle for months on months and months, because shampoo really strips strip strips your hair of all the moisture. So if you have dry hair in general, don't be using shampoo all the time. I can make a whole video on what i use, but i recommend acv washes, which are apple, cider, vinegar, washes or just some other types of things, so you don't have to be shampooing your hair all the time. Yes, you want to keep it clean, but you do not want to take out all the oils all the time like every week, every two weeks i would say maximum even once a month shampooing, your hair would be fine. Anyway, i got ta go bye. My next and final point is: you can wrap your hair up at night, so i don't do this all the time when i have box braids and all of that. But if i have my hair out like this, i do always wrap my hair in some type of cloth, that is in cotton um. I don't have silk and silk slips off of my head too easy. I don't think that would work because i'll wake up with it like halfway across the room like i need something that sits so get a fabric that works for you um. I can't i'm not really too educated on fabrics so like just get something to wrap your hair in um. Just you know, keep it intact, not all over the place, especially if it's an afro and you can braid your hair up at night. But then again be gentle, because if you be brushing your hair every night before you go to bed girl, that's breakage, which means no growth and that's what we want. We want growth. That'S the main point of this video yeah guys. Thank you so much for watching this. It'S been really quick. It'S been really fun for me to just sit down and just go through these points with you and just as a final pointer. I want to tell you that long hair is cool and long. Hair is what everybody wants to achieve, but honestly long hair, but not healthy hair, isn't it you want to have health before length. You want to focus on having your hair healthy, because if your hair is healthy, then it will just grow automatically. Focus on moisture focus on just really loving your hair. Putting that work and like effort and gentleness into your hair and leaving it be don't be doing too much for length when health is on the back seat like it needs to it needs to be together. They need to be moving together. You feel me so yeah. Thank you for watching and we're going to have a bit more uh hair content coming soon. If you guys have any questions, any videos that you want me to do concerning hair, please just drop them down in the comments below you can also follow me on instagram and um. You know dm me. If you have any specific questions here, questions and yeah i'ma go um watch this mane, it's a bit mad. It'S honestly a bit mad, but yeah have a great day night evening, wherever you are don't forget to like comment, subscribe and i'll, see you next time bye. You

Joy Shaba: 5:24 I can definitely testify to this. During the lockdown in 2020 I couldn't go nowhere to do my hair for months and when I tell you post covid I experience so much hair breakage and damage, it was so sad. So I took the liberty to learn how to make my own hair and I'm slowly just getting hair back where it used to be/where I want it to be.

nina collins: I'm glad someone said it... CUTTING YOUR HAIR DOES NOOOTTTT MAKE UR HAIR GROW‍♀️

Ziyairah TheChosenOne: I’ll say this: I have to cut my hair every 3-4 months because I have 100% high porosity 4c hair. I can’t do braids or twist my hair often because the strands are naturally thin, (I’ve done big chop twice) this time around I am learning that my hair does not like braids or not getting trimmed for long periods of time or I’ll get major damage. I’ve gotten locs before and six months into them I have major thinning. it took me 7 years of my hair growing and breakage while being natural to realize if I want my hair to thrive I have to just leave it alone.

ReiAburame (Bree): Thank you so very much for reminding me and inspiring me to take better care of my hair, and treat it as if it has life and feelings and to prioritize it better. I ditched the combs, and I've been giving it daily scalp rubs with the aloe and coconut oil combo I've been using, and just letting it breathe and it's amazing how much has changed in a day. Thank you Queen

Vee Roki: Girlll lemme tell you….THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO❤️❤️❤️❤️ everything you said makes so much sense. My 4C hair is growing slowly but it’s healthy so Im going to use all your tips because you’re just AMAZING. THANK YOU❤️

Joy Forney: Your hair is gorgeous. As are you. Thank you for this video! As a mama of a baby girl with all 4c hair, this is super helpful! And yeeeesssss to everything you said about the salons! Every time I’ve gone to the salon with Sanyu I can FEEL the breakage. I love her hair and your hair! Keep making these great vids! And can you please just marry my son?! ‍♀️‍♀️ You are too cute.

typicalewis: i’m 12 and i have a white mom so when i was little i never knew anything about my hair and i slept with out a bonnet and kept my hair dry all the time she never wanted too learn how too braid i have tried so much ways roo grow and i feel like it’s been the same length ever since i was 8 or 7:( i had so much break downs because i tried so much products and asked so much people but they never replied it’s like it’s never growing and it’s dry and even if i sleep with a bonnet and out stuff in my hair it’s not growing i’m out of hope i’ve watched so much videos and it sounds complicated i don’t understand and they are also telling me too trim my ends but i have no idea how

Corinne Beauliere: Yesss! I can relate so much and ur advice is SO helpful. You made the things I wasan’t sure about more clear. Thx so much you really showcase how us black girls should feel about our hair. Keep going P.S- I love ur hair

Dominique Lorraine: I feel you on the salon. I went to the salon for the first time in 7 years and could literally hear my hair being ripped out. I took my hair down a couple months later and saw how much hair had been ripped out.

Kaela K: If you go to the salon you have to go to a natural hair specialist not just a regular salon. It also depends on genetics and what you put in your body. You can’t expect long hair if you’re not taking in enough nutrients and water. Also, we still need trims so the split ends don’t go up the hair shaft and damage your hair. Don’t moisturize it too much because it can become damaged as well.

MrKaje72: I’m a man, and I was looking for advice with my own hair. This was really helpful. Also, I love the energy, you’re doing great and are very motivating. Keep it up

Michele Mutinda: I have been having a bad hair week and your video is just encouraging me to love my hair and be patient with it...THANK YOU❤

Ellakrane Uche: Honestly what I could relate with the most was take your hair into your own hands My mom thinks I’m crazy whenever I spend hours gently taking care of my hair but my hair is currently the longest it has ever been in just 2 years after big chop

Olayinka Sokoya: I feel your pain girl I go through this almost every time i deal with my hair

reclarity3: I miss my long hair so much, I would always wear protective styles and everything. But my mom stopped and started putting textured and primes in my hair, and started cutting it. Now my hair is short and damaged and pretty much straight but still curly. It just annoys me and makes me sad how right when I’m finally letting my hair grow, she throws another texture in my hair even when I said no. It makes me so sad because I have not had my hair braided in years, like literal years.

Lesego Maponya: I like all these points that you’ve mentioned, I’m a boy by the way and just gotta say I love your channel, the hair advice is what I needed especially in combs cause that was just my way of detangling it, I have applied more moisture using water then I would oils, I was following the right people on that so yeah, getting a bonnet was not a good idea or at least the one I got is a little bit big for my head, but otherwise there were some other good points I needed to hear other than the ones that I’ve already heard, excited for new content from you(hair stuff included)

Heluvs_cam: my mom always told me that if ur gonna detangle with a comb ALWAYS START FROM THE BOTTOM AND WORK HR WAY UP cause my grandma used to start from the top and work her way down to the bottom and she would just comb a lot of it out and then when my mom start combing from the bottom she saw a lot of growth

Nomes: This video was really helpful so thank you so much. I have had my hair in braids for about a month and I want to take them out this weekend so I decided to do some more research so I can come out of braids and help my hair to be more healthy and this really helped so thank you so much!

Sarah Ochoje: Omg!! I can so relate to you.. I really don't get why I should trim my hair to make it grow faster.. You are literally the first person I can relate to in terms of hair growth. I love your vibe too Thanks for the tips

C Chambers: This was the realest quick and informative video I ever seen I transitioned to being natural 10 years ago and I appreciate this video love your vibe and energy aswell new subscriber here

Divine: I love these tips omg. I started doing my own hair and told my mom that I don't want to go to the salon anymore.

Misleee: Beautiful hair! Me personally I did a big chop and chopped off all my damaged and processed ends. I’m so excited to see my true hair texture because I never knew what it was.

S. W: When I started doing my own hair is when it stared to flourish....You are so on point. Those stylist don't give a damn about your strands. Great video.

Hunniii: One of my ways of making grow is protective styles, I just got my hair braided yesterday and I usually keep it in for like 2 months and it does grow or when it's summer and I don't have school my mom helps me and uses those threads to part my hair and wrap them around then after a week or so I take it out and it helps a lot

Ty: I guess the first tip explains why my hair has only grown about 3 1/2 inches in a year. (It’s been a year since I cut all my hair off simply out of anger and stress) I’ve heard multiple times not to comb it out too rough or too often but I feel like I just can’t stop because I love having an Afro every single day (fyi I’ve been picking out my hair almost every day for at least half a year) ‍♂️ atp it feels like my signature hairstyle. And because my hair is pretty short it’s one of the few styles I can do rn but if you guys know some different things I could try pls lmk

Abcdefu: I finger deranged for the first time this weekend and it felt soooooo good. My hair felt so different!!

Almost Dead: Hello! I'm new to your channel. You may seem very pretty and honest, however you also seem like you can help fix my problem. Let me drop my problem here: I am a West african teenager girl. I have 4C Hair. One day, as i was taking out my braids, I cut a lot of my real hair as well as combed my hair too hard. I lost so much hair. It was devastating. I want to go on a new journey to try and grow out my natural hair to its full potential. P.S: My mother also suggests having ghana weaving hairstyles done to grow out my natural hair at the front because it's very wonky there. I have an appointment to get it done tomorrow ❤️

Ashley Johnson: Just so you know it’s not always breakage our hair sheds around 100 strands a day so if you put your fingers through your hair and some hair comes out that’s totally normal

Aïsha Houwen #4: Omg the oil thing... When I was younger my godmother would braid my hair and she would absolutely DRENCH my hair with oil because when she put it it was still dry and she thought putting more oil would solve it. The oil would just be dripping down my neck and face and it just felt horrible. And my bonnet and pillow would soak too. My skin is scrawling just thinking about it.

Piggie Bonita: It’s not bull you have to feel the hair love the hair it’s true. I’m a stylist that cares for every client who sits in my chair. You have to learn your hair’s personality.

Ashley Johnson: Cutting your hair does not make it grow faster BUT trimming your ends removing split ends leaves your ends healthier and prevent breakage on the ends then your hair appears to be growing faster when really it’s just helping to retain length

ava: this was actually informative as hell, thank you

Tevin Myers: I have been growing my hair for 2 years and as far as growth goes it's really good. I have been going to the salon for about a year and honestly I hate how rate they are with my hair and I think it's because I am a man. I have 4c hair, very coarse but it's very unhealthy, I can't do it myself though and that's really annoying. This video resonates with me a lot but the hairdressers clearly don't care at all and I can sometimes even feel the ripping! My goal is to learn to care my hair myself, outside of oiling and moisturizing, I want to be able to really do the whole process myself but that's really hard because I fear I'm damaging my own hair you know.

Robin In The Cut: Ok, this Was by far the best hair growth video I have seen and I’ve watched a lot I mean a lot!!! I love your energy and I love your tips thanks so much we have similar hair values!

Monique Jones: You are absolutely correct! My hair started growing when I started taking care of it and stopped salons. I agree half of stylist nowadays do not know how to take care of your hair like you do. Now I have waist length hair - never would've happened going to salons every 2 weeks!

Chafester: Hi, I have 4 type hair as well. I listen to my hair; meaning, if I can hear a crunching or crackling sound in my ear when I touch it, twist it, etc., then I know that my hair needs to be moisturized. I LITERALLY LISTEN TO MY HAIR, LOL AND IT WORKS. Thanks for this video and KEEP GOING!

Sharon Tatum: I gotta say, this is the first video I’ve watched that made me laugh and I can totally relate to!!! ❤

Iam me: Girl you just helped me so much. Thank you

ivy Williams: Last year I got an extreme heat damage and I relaxed my hair when I found out that it wasn't growing, I wz loosing my curls and I experienced breakage. After relaxing it I've seen a lot of health and growth without cutting it and this is it's eight hth month

Cats Meow Subliminals: Yes...Take your hair into your own hands...best tip ever!!! No cap!...learned that early and I saw so much difference.

Grace’s Place: The hair into own hands spoke to me. I was shoulder Length when u started exclusively doing my own hair I got to bra strap. I learned n did it myself. Even trims

Antonio Hodo: I wear my hair in a afro sometimes. I moisturize it and put it in big twist at night. Now I have it in a tuck and roll protective style. I don't feel like having to fluff out a afro all the time. I shampoo my hair once a month and do a deep conditioner under the dryer.

Kawaii Kitty: I noticed that the more I wash my hair the faster my hair grows. I started washing my hair every other day and the growth is shocking. I also stopped using hair products as far as moisturizers and gels and all that. I only use shampoo and conditioner water and lavender flower. If my scalp is dry I use rosemary and castor oil but I don’t leave it on my hair I wash it out so my scalp can breath. Lastly I leave it alone. If I need to go to the store I put it in a loose pony and go.

Faith Peters: Your hair looks amazing also, thanks for the advice ❤️

Brianna Mcclinton: You do have to trim your hair to be sure your ends are even Always use a wide tooth comb Don't use too much heat You'll always have dead hair come out when u comb it but it's still going to grow Always get a hairstyle You'll look crazy having a scarf on your head

《𝒱.𝒜𝑀𝒫.𝐼𝐼》: I'm a Hispanic with type 4 hair and it has always been a struggle for me for so many years

stargirl☆: My hair hasn't grown in 7 months and I hope you're tips will help my hair grow again! I don't know the reason why it doesn't brow maybe oil buildup or im to rough but it stopped growing after I went to the salon.

Chloe OManu: A wash routine is definitely a request ‍♀️

Cxyliziaax.Xazina•°: I'm 12 and my mother has straight hair and I had 4D hair so when I learnt about the types of hair I went to her and asked her about and she had no clue what I was talking about also she got this thing where she has me brushing out my hair at the end of every week and I lost ALOT of hair and I felt that my hair was the length it was since I was 6 or 7,My sister has long thin 4c hair and she mother thinks that my hair can grow like that by changing my hair every week and brushing the life out of it and i'll just be like...What?

Torub Idans: Exacltly!.... Am with you on this girl. Like why cut the strands of your hair when the goal is to achieve a lenghty hair. Instead be sure to keep it strong and healthy

みっしーんやんし: Thank you for this. My hair literally hasn't grown since 6th grade I'm about the graduate.

Fanta Diarra: I mean I usually keep my knotless braids in for 1-1 1/2 months (I take care of it), I stopped using combs and I don’t wash it often anymore! Ima say that your tips really helped me so thank you

Sasha: I love you for giving us real humans real answers ❤️

Adaw Garwec: A video on your wash day routine would be great

Angeline Rodriguez: Yes, ditch the combs and use wide tooth combs but MOISTURIZE YOUR HAIR: WATER, DEEP CONDITION, MOISTURIZING PRODUCTS. It can help with detangling and be gentle!! Take the time with your own hair and if you do go to a salon tell them to be very gentle. Natural hair stylists are the best #BlackSalons Keep your hair tight with low minimum styles, low on pressure on the scalp, oil it, moisturize it, massage It, love it. No Heat. Maximum 1-3x a year!! Every 6 months go for a trim, not a cut. I can honestly say I was my hair at most 3x a month if I feel it's really dirty. At least 2x. I can't do braids cause my hair is super thin and fine but curly (4a/4b) and soft. Easily to break in tight styles.

Noura Mhoudine: Omg, that's the easiest vidéo I've found on this topic! Thank you so much for this vidéo, I'll try to follow your advices <3! On a side note, I thought that was the only who picked my hair situated on the temples, so now I feel like I'm not the only one with this problem, and I can actually grow out of this bad habit. Thank you again for this wonderful video❤❤

Snenhlanhla Netshidzivhani: Can I ask, how long did it take you to grow your hair to be this long and beautiful?

Abisola Toluwase: Your video has been so helpful. I need help. I decided to only relax my hair twice a year. Is that good enough?I do it because my hair texture is coarse so I do it just for it to be comb-able. So should I just ditch the relaxer routine since it’s harsh chemical? Thank you

Sunshyne: Video made me cry lol I love my hair yet ppl bully me for it. It used to make me self conscious. So grateful for this video

Messi Mathematician: Big fan of number two, learning how to do my own hair. Still learning, lol

Te'asia Sumaili: Love these tips very Incoruging and helpful i've got 4c hair myself and i really need tips

hi: I left my hair in an afro for 2 WEEKS and wow it was so damaged and dry, like during that time I didn't do anything to like wash it or add living conditioner, I lost so much hair then and I was litterly crying trying to comb it

Super Life: Subscribed! I’m used to do my hair different EVERYDAY so I thought I was doing good by switching up my hair every week instead and here you are telling me that I’m doing too much…

Kemi :]: "Cut you hair so it can grow faster" It never did. Thank you for the tips on hair I would've cut my hair more if I didn't know

Jasmine Atusu: You are one of the few most realistic person I have watched to talk bout thick textured hair. I could just relate with u on every point. I have learnt alot. Thank you so much for this video

Tia Samone: 5:42 I felt that. I hate having my hair out. I can just feel the air drying her out ! Lol

Donnalee Miller: Love her energy

Chantal Twine: U said it all sis❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

ドキドキ두근두근: The no combing is spot on. I NEVER comb my hair and it grows really fast. The last time I combed my hair was maybe 6 months ago? My hair isn't tangled either.

F: I’m glad I seen this because I’m a male and my hair grows fast but every time I let someone do my hair they comb it dry and use horrible products like edge control on my strands so I’d end up cutting it every time

Curls of a Musician: Your natural hair is unique and beautiful in its own way.

Hobi Sprite: I have a question because for me I play sports so my hair tends to get really sweaty and stuff and my scalp gets irratated sometimes just keeping the braids in for to weeks, any tips?

Linda K: Thank you for the tips and your hair is beautiful <3

itslianN: I love your energy

Cynthia Obodo: Love the way you talk. You’re funny, you seem carefree and hella fun. Your hair is so beautiful.

Edward Divine: Also I can testify to taking your hair into your own hands because like the fact that it's your hair you will consider breakage and scalp pain

BlueNavy: No lies told! BTW you have the same texture as me which is no curly texture. Mine might be a a smidgen softer, like a stretched out cotton ball. My hairs don't come together for the greater good. They are separatists. I like to call my hair 4z bc they do not coil but zig-zag which make them more vulnerable to breakage than our other Type 4 counterparts.

TruSelf108: So if cutting does not help, what would you recommend doing to help retain healthy ends in order to reduce breakage?

cal: my ends always fucked up and i end up having so much breakage then trimming like every 2 weeks :( thanks for the tips !!

Anika Gomez: THANK YOU THIS IS HELPING ME A LOT WITH MY CURLY HAIR

Cher0kee: My hair grows when it's braided for months.

Glory Solomon: Hey I love your hair and your tips are really helpful thanks

Sherice 쉐리스: I have my hair bleached . I keep my hair moist with hair and some oils . I sleep with a plastic cap on . This keeps my hair from drying out. I thought I was crazy I like to finger comb my hair .

Ananda: Love your hair and personality❤️

Tracey Dumase Banda: Your energy! NEW SUBBIE!

Blessing Osamede: Tell them sis that cutting your hair does not make it grow . I don't wash my hair Everytime,I wash every 2-3 months , and it helped

gacha fam: My mom stylist literally saved her hair like wow to her

Londi Nxumalo: I love all your tips, I've learned so much

It's_Melody_Angel: I definitely learnt a lot today Imma try them from now on

April: I take care of my hair like a baby, I only detangle when I am taking down or making my hair, I use good hair products, I always sleep in a bonnet, I do protective styles, trim my hair every year, I never use heat, the only heat my hair gets is from the sun and maybe the warm water I use to wash my hair, I also do my own hair so I know when too tight is too tight, but my hair doesn’t grow. I have come to accept that it’s in my genetic my mother doesn’t have long hair what’s to say my hair would be different so I gave up on growing my hair longer ages ago and now I take care of my hair to have hair on my head.

Ajueyitsi Thelma: I loved this video it was really helpful I would really love it if you can make a video describing the different types of hairs please thank you

Ayinene Nene: Thank you so much for this video ❤️

Lifewithbecca: The problem about changing my hairstyle is if I don’t change it every 3 weeks it will get realllllly tangled

erisstyx: Ahhh tysmmm I started my natural hair growth and I needed some tips!!!!❤️

Milly_in_denmark: Thank you Jesus for saying that, YOU CANT MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW BY PUTTING THING ON IT. You du it from the inside out by eating healthy not growing creams, lotions homemade crap. People will be on here saying I put this on my hair and i grew so much length in two weeks. Sis .

lullabiez: A girl comes to my house to do my hair and it cost more then 100 dollars for me and my sisters braids, she combs it out a lot and makes it tight and uses heat on my hair and I know how to braid hair so I will try doing it thank you for this inspiration ❤
