Hair-lo coily haired cutie,

This is my full 4c hair stretching routine, which I do on clumped hair - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8XMEH.... In case you don't feel like watching that one, note that clumped hair is an old twistout with plaited/braided roots.

I hope that seeing my 4c hair stretching routine will help you create one that suits your unique head of hair and your own needs. You will see that in my 4c hair stretching routine, I started off doing 4 plaits at night but switched to doing just 2. If you'd prefer a more polished look, I'd recommend you stick to 4 throughout.

This video shows you how to stretch your hair at night in less than five minutes hello and welcome to naturally high the channel that helps you grow your 4a 4b and especially for c hair. To longer lengths. In my last video i outlined the process of creating clumps from loose rope. Twists. Clumps are a splendid basis for what i'm about to show you, but you can also stretch loose twists and moderately detangled loose hair in the same way, i'm starting on clumped hair with plaited roots step. One is to optionally spritz your tresses with water. I seldom do this these days as i'm in the tropics and i'm air conditioning a verse, so my hair doesn't dry overnight if the air is drier, where you are go ahead and spritz after that, apply your creamy leave-in of choice, i'm using mixtures, j's heavenly, smelling Green tea and hibiscus moisture milk. I focus the product on the ends as they need to be remolded. The leave-in contains water, so some hydrogen bonds will be broken and then reformed into the new shape of the plaits, giving them more structure and unifying them a bit more. Next, i add castor oil, which further softens my ends and prevents breakage now's, also a time to inspect your ends, to ensure that they look healthy. If we see any ends that don't look good, for example, single strand knots or more complex knots or split ends, we can also preen them at this stage. The last thing we want is for our ends to get tangled from clumping. This can and will happen if you're not steadfast. Sometimes i use flaxseed gel to create new defined coils, because flaxseed gel has a stiffening effect and it clumps my strands. It'S wonderful for days when my ends look as they do here, since this was only day. Two of these clumps lifetime. I stretched my hair in loose flats enabling me to retain as much of the original crimping from my twist out as possible as your time in your clumps goes on, or if you wear your hair in a stretched style like a bun, you may want to braid More tightly to give your clumps a new conformation since my ends are somewhat of a blank canvas, i platted them more tightly to give them a fresh pattern. Are you enjoying this then consider nabbing yourself, early access to future videos and behind the scenes footage by becoming a patron for as little as 3.99 per month as usual, i'm wrapping my ends for maximum knot, mitigation and stretch. I went on to create four more such plaits off-camera. This is how i wrap my scarf, so it doesn't slip off by the way excuse my sour face. It was really late and i was eager to get to bed. So i fold the scarf in half, wrap it around my head and tie the two corners in a double bow. Then i tie the dangling portion in a thumb knot. Do you also need the back to be flat like this to sleep without a head or neck ache? I lie down move the knot to the side, then drift off to a land, far far away it's the next day and i'm taking my flats out you're free to use an oil such as grape seed or jojoba for this step, if you'd like, as with all Handling, i do this radically gently. I only separate my hair as it is inclined to be separated, naturally, so as not to separate the clumps or cause frizz, both of which leave my strands more susceptible to breakage. This is the end result. Let'S look at how my clumps evolved over time again. Remember that my roots are plaited. This is my definition of organized chaos. I get the look of loose hair without the headache of having to part it. At this point. The clumps have been in for 12 whole days. I wouldn't recommend this as the tangling can become immense aim for a maximum of one week to be safe and there you have it folks. How does your stretching routine compare

Michelle Rodgers: So, i learned that may hair must be “clumped” to grow and remain thick. I’m so happy more people are talking about this. Mini twists, loose twists, small flexirods, finger coils allow my hair to flourish and stay detangled. Blown out styles, twist outs and braids out will literally break my hair of at the ends and cause so much shedding.

Cerucir: I haven't tried clumps with braided roots, but to maintain twist or braid outs, I usually put my hair into two big loose braids and re-moisturize the ends if necessary. I learned that wrapping my ends in a Bantu knot (which I learned from you! Thank you lol) helps the ends look uniform, neat and prevents knotting.

Indigenous Strandz: My GOD YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️

aliciabrillante: Your hair is so long and pretty and your clumps hold together so nicely!!!!!

Candy Cat: Thanks for teaching me about wrapping my ends my Mende sister. Yet another weapon in my arsenal against knotting and breakage

Coily Shy: Your hair is pretty, nails, skin, everything! I prefer grape seed oil and braids to stretch...can’t wait until my hair is as long as yours

Nifemi F: My hair looks like yours (just a bit lighter in color). To many people it always looks "rough and untidy", but no matter how much I moisturize, it looks just like yours. But honestly, I like it cuz many can't tell if it's loose hair or locks especially when it's in a protective style . I do clumping + loose two twists. I have fine hair strands and let me tell u it's the best thing I have done to my hair. I first learned of clumping from Wholly Thine on Youtube then I saw it on your channel. I have retained more than two inches this year already (my hair is now 16+ inches). It works. By the way, you are doing great on your channel. Thanks a lot.

BisolaF: You make me wanna give clumping a try. I will keep all i learnt in the books for when my hair grows longer. Thank you for sharing valuable information.

Enjolie L: I am a new sub or! Thank you so much for this video. My daughter has 4c hair and I struggle with her ends knotting I will be trying this technique. Thank you ☺️

Kesi randall: As always so gorgeous darling! Can’t wait to try

C Jones: I could look at your hair all day sis. Love

Dionne Nickerson: Lovely and informative video (plus I love the nails)!!

Brit JJ: You and JoStylin are the OGs of long naturals hair from the UK!

Lovely Noel: I love your purple nails they are so pretty.

Jaliane: Its been a while! How have you been? This style just looks SOOO good on you!!!! Thanks for showing how you do the moisturizing of this lovely style!

W: I am still struggling with getting the clumping down. Is it easier to do on pre-stretched hair? Ok, I re-watched your video on clumping, I realize you began doing the clumping as rope twists but use loose twists now. If my hair does not cooperate with clumping as a loose twist, will doing the clumping as a rope twist still be ok to use? Also, could you provide a link for the flaxseed cream & Irish cream products?

Arlinda's Everywhere: I love how people are mentioning other YouTubers channels. I’m going to visit those beauties’ channels.

brianna Johnson: When I wrap my ends it always tangles when I try to take it out, what could I be doing wrong?

20 pearls: Beautiful!!!

Natural2020: Hi there. I recall on a previous video, you mentioned you keep your roots clumped indefinitely to reduce manipulation. Yet at the end of this vid, you suggested only clumping for a week maximum. Please can you explain?

DANA williams: Beautiful

2 P's and a B: I do African threading with yarn or with rubber bands. But my hair is shorter.

unowned υɳƙɳσɯɳ: lol i was just normally binge watching to get my hair like this and i just happen to be from trinidad.

Chizoma Knight: How long do you keep your clumps in for before retwisting?

brit Plant based: Too lazy for this, but yours looks beautiful

Flor_de_Oro:

Inadia: When I do clumps to my hair, my hair gets tangled together as if it's a dreadlock. Please advise how to avoid this. I have 4C hair.

Marcia Williams: Lovely,

Qudrat Yetunde: Pretty! The clumps look a little like dreadlocks.

Pearl Kloberie: How long have you been natural

C.N: ❤️❤️❤️

Sondra Myles: Hello, I don't have enough hair yet. How can I strech my car quickly?

Darin Jones: I love the audio
