I think it’s about time I showed you guys how I take care of my hair while I have that gel in the whole month without washing it out after the first application. I’ve following this routine for over a year now, it’s helped me to not need to use protective style to stretch out my hair, saves me time and the daily hassle of hair care.

She'S pretty ain't she yeah. That'S me issa me wearing my hair out 365 days a year every time every day. It'S me and this hair every single time. How do i do it, people ask? What do you do? Do you pre have a protective style? Do you ever nope, none of that and today i want to show you how you can achieve this type of life with your 4c beautiful african hair, but here's a little disclaimer, it's pretty tiring, but we'll manage morning ocean option option of shady. You know that chat with this up is about uh money and life, and today you're, coming into my life guys, let's just be realistic. Natural hair is a lot of work. It'S a lot of work. I don't judge anyone who relaxes their hair or who chooses to wear weave or braids or ah, and if you keep your natural hair, doesn't mean you're better than other people that don't keep their natural hair. Naturally, there's a lot of work. There'S a personal choice to keep it that way and it's a lot of work. So i just decided eh strategy got ta strategize got ta, have a routine got, ta have some it's not even a routine. Ah me, i hardly touch this hair ever since i washed it and it's been up over a week since i've washed it when i washed it. I styled it like this this picture here and then i have never undone this hairband. I have not undone this hairband ever since i washed this hair, and when i did that hairstyle i had my hair in these hair ties um, so that it can prevent that shrinkage, because how many millions of individual hairs my shrink, that i must now try and Gather just bring them together here, tie it in here, and then i tucked it in like this like this, like this done, you reshape it, reshape it done right, but we're doing the hair again, and this is the best way. I manage this whole situation here now. Let'S get into the second part of this video and this part, as you can see, i've got my spray bottle ready and i'm also going to get my oil and undo this hairstyle. I know it looked very simple, but it had like different segments - and i do that so as to protect my hairline and not pull on my hair too much and for the hairstyle to look much nicer with less bumps. But i know you guys have watched some of my hair videos where i speak about the gel and it not flaking and honestly it doesn't flake if you use water and oil and you don't have to always wash it off, and i want to show you guys That and prove it to you, like, i said my hair has been like this for almost two weeks now and i'm restyling, okay and i'm mainly going to just spray it and add some oil and possibly a little more gel, especially towards the edges and the top. So that the style looks very, very fresh, so stay for the rest of the video and see how i actually achieve that. No cheating, absolute truth. I really do this all the time and it simplifies my life. So much make sure you have your hairpins ready and you've sectioned your hair. As you can see, it wasn't like one pony going all the way to the back. There are different sections, especially that front top and that front side and then that back side obviously gathered together to make that pony. Ah look at her hair. Look at her hair. Look at her hair. Look at here! Look at the curls look at the curls! Oh no flakes, as you can see, i mean look at it. Maybe the shine of the light is making. It seem like it's got some gray, but no! No! No! No! No! No! Look nicely. Look nicely. Look! Look! Look! Look! Oh! It looks so good now that i'm looking at it myself, i'm like oh wow, i'm crushing on my hair, i'm going to keep that hairband uh right at the bottom there, because i really don't need all this shrinkage and millions of hair everywhere. Looking for my attention, no so i'm gon na just apply the oil while this little pony at the bottom holding the ends is there so i'll sort of like separate um the hair and apply the oil and rub it into my scalp but spray, the water first And when i tie the pony, i usually tie it towards the side because i wanted to show like in the front. So if i tie it in the middle, you won't be able to see it nicely. So i just like pull it towards one side there and then you can see it and i'm like okay, i can see it and i take pictures. Okay, that's my side, yes, okay! So now that i've done all of that, i think i have time for all my little millions to come out now. So i under the ends and also just take care of your ends with them oil them. You know um detangle, because you can't just keep that hair band there. So please take care of your ends. That'S your oldest hair, okay and it needs that kit needs that nourishment and obviously you're seeing a bit of white. Now because you spraying that water and everything is waking, the gel up and once your hair dries again, the gel will also dry and evaporate into the hair. Okay, now remember right at the back is where that pony was and that he was very compressed and tightly held together and the jowl laid there for a long time. So it really needs water and oil, okay, water and oil and work it through work it through. Even if you might have like little bits of clumps of gel that water will really um what what's this, dissolve it in a way and make it jelly again. Okay, so that white residue that you might be seeing on your hair me, my hair doesn't have white residue on your hair, just spray spray, water and use oil. Okay, i use more gel on my edges, so i did not apply more gel there. That'S all reactivated by me just spraying water, so remember to also section that front part massage the scalp with some oil spray. Some water work it through before adding any more gel. Remember the trick. The only way you're gon na win is, if you spray more water and add some oil and work work, work, work, work it through and i hadn't added still had not added mochal. That is all the gel that was, in my hair, woken up from the dead by water. So here i'm like twisting and fluffing twisting and fluffing, and if there's one it's not coming to the party like this one over here, you grab it. Let it go along with all the millions, okay and then tie the ends, so i'm using multiple uh hair bands, but the one right right right at the end, i'm not going to take that one out. The others are just there to help me um, prevent that shrinkage and then now, let's move on to our other two part, we're doing the same thing here: lots of water lots of oil because that's the front part, that's the part where i usually add more gel To lay things right, so it's looking a bit dry, but when i spray water you'll see how much gel there was and um, i probably don't actually need to add any more. Maybe if i try this hairstyle again, i might need to add more gel, but because it's like it's been a week and a half almost two weeks since i had washed my hair, i didn't need to add any more gel, not that much until i did my Little baby hairs, so all of that white that you're seeing reactivated woken up from the dead. You really want to work here, because if it's not laid well, it's not going to be so nice and flat. So work your hands through it work your hands through that front part and instead of using a hairband, i just decided i'm going to roll it to the pony at the back there and then at the end of the hairstyle. It literally gives off this effect, as if i've used, i don't know like maybe braids the the fiber that's used for braids to i don't know, roll it or wrap it around my ponytail, it just looks so nice and neat really nice. So i'll do the same. On the other side, too, look at my face if you've made it this far just type. Why are you looking so angry in the comment section? Ladies, i'm sure you can relate to this look when you're styling your hair and you're trying to look up at the same time and looking so angry. If, like me, you do not want to repeat this the next morning, you can ensure that you do not make your pony too tight, so that it's still comfortable and it doesn't hurt. And then, when you wake up depending on whether your duke or your bonnet falls out, it might still all be intact. Okay and i'm usually able to keep it for the week. Ish guys. Please do not harass your hair with a harsh toothbrush, okay spray, that toothbrush use like a medium. Is it medium strength or medium hard or medium bristle, medium, hey, not the hard one. Soft one will be okay, but yeah medium will also do but protect your edges. Yeah now that i'm almost done now, i can assist okay. I need to add a little more gel just to lay things out. You know onto the actual hair so that i don't add too much gel and cause all that gel build up, and you know just essentially sabotaging the whole situation and having flaky jelly hair. Just don't add too much at what's needed and then grab your dukul. Don'T kill yourself when you're tired, but tie it tight where you need it to lay the most okay guys, so i'm done done done done really took a record on my youtube channel. I really hope that it marinated well. I left it on for quite some time. So, let's unveil i tend to like let it fall off on its own instead of pulling it and yeah. As you can see, i think already you can see that there's no white residue, like i'm just leading gravity with minimal pulling. Sometimes it's so sticky that it will need just a bit of pulling, but right now, i'm just like letting it fall off. Let gravity do its work as you can see. It left this area undone. So i'm gon na go get my uh powder thing and i'll i'll fix i'll fix, fix fix. But oh okay, i'm happy what do you guys think? What do you guys think? What do you think? Okay, this is not the final look. Okay, i'm now gon na. Do the okay for what i want to achieve? What else needs to be called this tiny one here? Because i told you guys that it sort of keeps the hair from shrinking and we do that technique of who's gon na know, nobody's gon na know, they're, never gon na know, so you just tuck it in find a way to tuck it in like this, like This like this, you can't even use a bobby pin if you don't trust that it would be nicely entangled in there. But the whole essence is to have this puffy poofy poofy pondo thing going on, but with mine. It'S not so because the hair is still kind of weight. I didn't undo it from the hair bands early enough. Okay, okay, not bad, though not bad! It still looks good. It still looks good welcome back to chat with this everyone. It'S your favorite! It'S a good girl, just look how wonderful, like your hair can be manageable and do all these things without any relaxer gels can literally make your natural hair um more flexible for certain styles and the flat looks and all of that without any relaxer. You know, okay, and if you want you can pop on like um an alice band, if you don't want to, you can leave it like this um, i'm happy with the way it looks. Thank you.
