Hey guys! Into day's video, I show you how to make a super easy and affordable DIY (Do It Yourself) Deep Conditioning mask and treatment for dry curly hair! My hair has been very dry and crunchy lately, and so I've started doing this treatment once a month, to keep my curls moisturized, healthier, and to get my hair to grow long. If you have low-porosity natural hair, you can use a heating cap and a hair steamer if you want even better moisture and an even deep conditioning treatment! Maintaining proper moisture and protein balance of your natural hair is very important in growing your hair long and healthy, and this deep conditioning mask addresses both! (You can also leave out the protein if your hair is protein sensitive, if you don't have any, or if your hair doesn't tend to suffer from much breakage or damage.) I show you how to turn MY regular conditioner into a super creamy and slippery deep conditioner to treat your curly hair, and you can substitute any of the products out for YOUR favorites! If you try out this DIY Deep conditioner; please let me know what you think!

Hey guys, my name is Giuliana Palencia, aka ggb, and I was actually supposed to deep condition my hair today, but I went to go and check my hair Ben and I had actually ran out of all of them. So, instead of running to the store to buy more, I decided to film this do-it-yourself deep conditioning treatment, a mess. They got my curls poppin and hydrate it and with super simple ingredients, and I want to give a huge thank you to audible for sponsoring this video. So some of the things that you'll need for this deep conditioning treatment are a bowl some of your favorite hair oils. These are the ones that I'm using your favorite conditioner a protein, a plastic cap and also a heated cap. Now, let's get started so the first way I'm going to be using is my cream of nature. Argan oil oil treatment, which is a lot lighter compared to the second oil, which is my rooted treasures to make in black, castor oil. And I don't know if you guys know about castor oil, but it's extremely thick and gooey. So I really like mixing them together because they're great oils alone, but together they're super amazing. So I warm them up a bit and then combined them together, and it really creates a great consistency for the deep conditioner. So next I'm going to take some of my favorite conditioner, which is the Herbal Essence, hello, hydration, and put this into a big bowl, and then next, I'm gon na take some of this F og leave-in conditioner, which has protein in it, and protein is great. If you suffer from breakage or you have some type of damage to your hair and next I'm gon na mix all of this together, and it creates a really really creamy consistency and a super super moisturizing and deep conditioning treatment. But back is, I was actually using audible, wows. The conditioning my hair audible is amazing because for a low monthly cost, so you can listen to its unmatched collection of audiobooks news and comedy audible is offering our listeners a free audiobook with a 30 day trial membership and you can go to audible.com, slash Juliana or Text Juliana to five hundred five hundred to get started. I'Ve been listening to psychology and mental health books and I love that you can listen to audible while in the car relaxing at home, or while I'm doing my hair so check out audible.com slash, je wel L. I ate in na and you can also check the description box for more information. So while I'm listening to declutter your mind and apply my beep conditioner sections, my hair is feeling so soft and moisturize guys. It'S like crazy, because it's really comparable to my favorite store-bought. Deep conditioner, except it's a lot more affordable and also very convenient, and so once I was done each section, I twisted it up and then moved on to the next section, and I really made sure that I focused on the drier parts of my hair. So, for me, that's in my ends and also the back of my hair and also my edges tend to get really dry as well and then next I use this plastic cap and I apply a little bit more deep conditioner to my edges, because those can get Really dry and then over top of the plastic cap. I have this heated deep conditioning cap and you can replace this with a towel. If you don't have one, but it has these little beads in it, that you warm up in the microwave to get it nice and warm so that that deep condition it can really penetrate your hair, and I love the way. This feels guys me and my mom use it all the time and I'm gon na put my timer on for 20 minutes. However, I left it on for, like an hour an hour and a half, and my hair felt so soft guys, like so soft and really really moisturized and, of course, my next favorite part is that this is really affordable. And it's really simple, like ingredients that I have sitting around my house all the time and so after rinsing out the deep conditioner I have no product in my hair. My hair still feels really soft and is super defined and bouncy, and once my hair is just dry after styling it, my hair was just so moisturized cause. It was so moisturized and really really soft and defined and, as you guys can see, I'm just really filling. My hair right now so thank you guys so much for watching this video. I hope you enjoyed it. Please give me a thumbs up if you liked it and have a great day guys bye,

C M: is it just me or everytime I watch her videos it always makes me want to do my hair?

Not using this: Love your curls so much and I’m definitely gonna do this to my 3c/3b curls xx love your hair videos xo

Myah Brown: Step one: have amazing natural hair

Lil Red: I was in Aww when you said no products in your hair. Your curls were super pretty and defined! Will be trying this on me and my kids hair! Thanks for all the tips girl

Queen’s WRLD: Your hair is freaking GOALS!!!! I recently decided to go natural and give my head a break from weaves and man am I excited to have my natural curls popping. Keep the vids coming, I LOVE them!!

Just Shanie101: Girl yes, I made a deep conditioner yesterday because i too ran out and i don't get paid til Friday lol. As soon as i put that in my hair, my hair was like, "YAAAAAAAAAAAS LORD!" Curls were popping. I haven't made my own deep conditioner in like two years. I have no idea why I stopped.

Rhonda: I love this idea because I tend to forget that I can combine the products in my house, save money and not waste so much.

Nicole Allen: These were some great results from your homemade conditioning treatment! Your hair is looking amazing!

Aila Ka: Girl these results are everything!! I have the same curl pattern and my hair is terribly dry and brittle. Anyways, I’m going to try this tomorrow! If you remember, what products did you use to style your hair after, because the volume, the body, the movement... I needs that!

mayailucas: OMG YOUR HAIR WITHOUT ANY PRODUCT IS SO MOISTURIZED AND DEFINED !!! Great video as always.

Sam E’Joe: Hair looked so bomb and moisturized after this deep conditioning treatment!!

Takesha Hill: Your curls are absolutely delicious even before your conditioning mask was applied. This speaks to how well you care for your hair. Your hair is lovely.

Kiersyyy: Yea let’s make conditioner! What you’ll need: Conditioner

heyitsb: I tried this and got awesome results!!! This is definitely a new go to if I don’t have a store bought one

BananasForSale: If anyone makes this makes sure your hair is at least damp before applying the treatment if you’re using hair conditioner as the base. It’s designed to be used on wet hair so it will only penetrate your hair if it’s wet :)

Fatima: I would caution against using a regular rinse out conditioner as a deep conditioner on a regular basis. The molecules in regular conditioner are not small enough to penetrate the hair strand and while it might make your hair feel soft, in the long run it’s not as beneficial as a deep conditioner.

Isimeme Edeko: Giiirrrrlllll, those results got me speechless P.S. loving the yellow top lol

A Curly Engineer: I love your results!! This is so convenient to do! Thank you for sharing!

21bahamas: i love how simple your mixture is! i will be trying this tomorrow :)

audrey titchoup: Thank you so much for sharing ! I've just tried it and my hair has just melted ! That's a really great one that I will keep in my routine

Diana Wellington 2.0: I use some grape seed oil, JBCO, one eggs for protein and Alaffia conditioner. It works out great. I use this along with my honey scalp mask to prevent dry scalp.

Hembie Ashwe: I love audible too and enjoy listening to it especially whilst cleaning-house chores. Brilliant idea listening while doing your hair makes it more enjoyable. As the proverb goes “killing two birds with one stone.” Gorgeous hair by the way, and thanks for the tips!

LaNia West-Henry: Just what I needed I'm taking out my box braids right now I'm about to get a deep condition no way better to do it than to watch her videos along with it and I AM TRAEH videos

Heybrownskinnn: We have the same type of curl. I just recently did a big chop so my hair is still in its transitioning stages though lol thanks for sharing this ima definitely gonna try this out.

adrienona conley: WOW this was so so so so HELPFUL for me, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! You have helped me ALOT & Your hair turned out soooo beautiful/bouncy/super defined

Iman Ogundeko: Can’t wait to try this! Do you apply to dry or wet hair?

Down The 🐇 🕳 With KD: FINALLY someone who EXPLAINS the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and HOW!!! Subscribed and can't WAIT to show off my new hair!

Karen Waller: Hi! First of all, you have the most beautiful head of hair. Second, I'm definitely going to try this on my type 3b/c hair. Third, you got another subscriber. Finally, can you use a creamy protein conditioner, i.e. Organics Hair Mayonnaise, some rice water, or mix a beaten egg to the conditioner for added protein? TIA

Corrine Dirks: Your hair is beautiful. I am a pale gal I have extremely dry course curly hair. I have learned so much from you talented people

Alicia Mendsey - Natural Hair Journey & Goals: Nice :) That look at 14 seconds in :) I talked about JBCO in a video and in my most recent videos I talked about other oils that I am starting to experiment with. Your hair is nice.

Jada Gibbs: I feel like this is a great treatment, but when making this, it costs a lot more than what it’s worth. I think you’ll get better results and it cost less if you use Shea moisture deep condition treatment.
