So should Christian women use artificial hair attachments all of those things in this video I'm going to be sharing with you all some reasons that I think that, as a Christian woman, you should not be using any form of attachment, artificial hair in your hair. First and foremost, I just want to Define attachment. I am referring to any type of hairstyle that requires requires additional hair. That is not your own in order to complete the style. So I remember when I was in high school, like I was almost done getting ready for graduation and I needed to style my hair and at the time I remember someone the person who wanted to style my hair, the style that I wanted. The person told me that I didn't have enough hair for that style. Here are some reasons that I think that, as Christian women, we should not be using any type of attachment or um artificial hair in our hair. So the first reason is that attachment competes with God's glory, so the Bible tells us that a woman's hair is her glory and who gave that Glory. It'S God who gave that Glory. Now I have a video where I talk about. You know that scripture all on its own and all make sure to link it in the description box below, but basically God is a giver of the glory and attachment artificial hair. They look like the real thing, but they're not they are counterfeit, and so, when you are attaching these things to your hair, you are covering up this Glory that God has given unto you and your glory. You know something that is supposed to be a glory. It'S supposed to Glow it's supposed to be allowed to grow glow. You know, there's a scripture that says when you have a life you know, do you have a light and hide it under a bushel when you have a light and a dark room? Are you gon na go and hide that light? Note you're gon na bring that light into the dark room, because you want the room to be to be lighted um so that you can see what you're doing or see the people that perhaps are in that room. And so our hair is a light. Our hair is a glory it's supposed to glow, and so, when you attach all of these things to your hair, you are burying this light under a bushel. If you will you're hiding your glory and the Bible says also that God will not give his glory to anyone, and so now you are in essence giving your glory to the attachment you are, you are bearing your glory and you're, giving it to something else. I truly believe that artificial hair, it competes with God's original creation - God has created our hair and the Bible tells us in Genesis 1 31, that God, after he had created the whole universe. You know he stood back and he said it's everything he had created is very good. So you know we live in a society where people like to say: oh, you have good, hair or, and you have bad hair and it's like. No everything that God created is very good. That'S what the scripture says, and so your hair is very, very good, and so, when you attach these things to your hair, you are contributing to counterfeit, and I believe that God is unhappy with that beneficial hair. It competes with the glory of God, and God will not share his glory with anyone. He will not compete with his glory. You know he's not going to. You know give his glory to anybody, and so that is the first reason that I believe that Christian women or women in general should not use artificial hair. The second reason is that attachment creates laziness, so attachment has a false sense of convenience. Oh I'm gon na put my hair in some extensions, I'm going to put it in a wig, I'm gon na put it in braids and I'm gon na leave my hair alone. Now that leaving of the hair alone leads to laziness a lot of times, I've come across women who have had you know, attachments in their hair and they've left their hair in for months, and they haven't touched their hair and by the time that you know they Take their hair out first of all, their hair is smelling, really bad. It looks really bad and then they're wondering why isn't my hair growing? Why isn't my hair flourishing and it's like? Well, you keep burying this hair under all of the wigs and all of the weaves, and all of these things and your hair is not even able to breathe you're, not able to take care of this hair you're not able to nurture this hair, and you just Keep burying it and burying it and burying it, and it's really not producing much good fruit for your hair and so yeah artificial, hair attachment. It creates this laziness. It makes you to just be very lazy about taking care of your hair. The third reason that I believe that Christian women or all women should not use artificial hair in their hair is because it contributes to breakage. So after you have left your hair in the attachment for such a long time, what ends up happening is that your hip becomes dry because, all of those months that your hair is buried under the weaves and the grades and all of those things your hair gets Dry, because you don't have easy access to take care of it to moisturize it and to hydrate it until it gets dry and guess what dry hair breaks dry hair will break. Now, when you go outside like if you've been like, you know in the woods or something or just like being outside like now that it's summer and it's so hot out, if you pick up a stick, you know like a piece of stick from a tree. You know that that is dry. If you break it, it breaks easily because why it is dry and so the more your hair gets dry, the easier it is for it to break and so you're wondering. Well, why is my hair breaking? Why is my hair breaking and it's because you have been putting your hair in all of these attachments for so long and it is causing this breakage of your hair and another thing is a lot of those Styles. You know when people do it, they do it really tight, and so then you find out that your edges and your nape are all breaking and you're wondering. Why is my hair breaking well, it's because you've been putting your hair and all of these extensions and all of these uh attachments and artificial hair, and that is causing your hair to break off. The next reason that I believe that, as Christian women and women, all women should not wear artificial hair or attachments or extensions, and all of those things is because it conjures up, lies um. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a woman and I'm sitting there and wondering, is that her hair, or is that not her hair like I, I can't figure it out. I just I don't know I'm like. Is that her hair, oh and maybe that's her hair? No, that's not her hair and the Bible tells us that as Christians, let your ye be ye and your name. That means let your yes be! Yes, and your no be no. So if it's a no let it be? No, if it's a yes let it be. Yes, let not people be confused about what what you have on your head. When you use artificial hair, you are Conjuring up a lie because it is not yours. This is not yours, you're, giving off this image that this hair is yours, but really it is not, and you know the Bible tells us about in The Book of Revelation. It says that Liars, you know, and and and and anything that make us a lie, will not partake in the kingdom of God, and so I pray that the Lord will Deliver Us from all of these lies, especially when it comes to our hair. It will help us to be able to really truly Embrace this hair that he's given unto us, because I believe that God was very intentional. You know it's a scripture that says that all of the hair on our heads are numbered. I mean think about it. All of the hair on our heads are numbered. That means that our hair is not an afterthought. It was part of God's grand plan, part of our creation, that, if God has a knowledge of every single piece of it, I don't know how many hair I have on my head. I have no idea, but God does, and that shows us how much he cares about the hair that he has given on to us and how much we need to care about taking care of it. And you know what, if there's a style that you want to do, and you don't have enough hair for it, then maybe that's not the style that you need to do because another point is that we need to be satisfied with the hair that we have the Minute we want to add on there's a sense of dissatisfaction with what we have that I see this style and I don't have enough hair for it. Then I don't need to do that style. I need to look for something else, or I can do that style with my own hair. Make it a little bit different. It doesn't have to be exactly like that style, and so let us be satisfied with the hair that God has given us and let us embrace it and let us enjoy the hair that God has given unto us a lot of us. We don't even enjoy our hair because we go from one extension to one set of braids to one weave to one wig, we're not enjoying our hair and, what's the point of having hair and you're not enjoying it. The argument that someone can also have is well, you know that is my form of protective styling. Those things are not protecting your hair they're rather burying your hair they're, bearing Your Glory, allow your hair to breathe. Our hair needs to have air and it needs to it, needs to see the sun. Let us unveil all of these things. You know I have a brand called unveiling the veil, natural hair care, and the purpose is to unveil, encourage women to unveil their hair of the wigs and the weaves and all of those things that our hair has been buried under and begin to. Take care of. Our hair begin to get to the root of the problems that we face and to to see to nurture our hair and to begin to see our hair flourishing to the glory of God. You don't need to attach anything to your hair, for your hair to be long by the grace of God. My hair is flourishing and I don't use any kind of attachment or weaves or extensions, or I don't use any of those things, and you are not an exception. You don't need those things, you really don't you don't need them. Your hair can flourish. Your hair can get longer when you pay more attention to it. When you nurture your hair when you're, moisturizing and hydrating - and you know uh uh, preserving your ends and deep conditioning your hair. When you're doing all of these things, your hair will grow, you will retain length. I promise you so I pray that this video has been a blessing to you and I pray that it inspires. You read yourself of all of those things and I tell you that the Lord will help you. The Lord will help you you know some of you will give the excuse of well. I have so many things going on in my life. You know, I am a wife and I am a mom and perhaps I'm in school, and I have so many things going on like I can't be bothered with my hair and I get it. I'M I'm a married woman too. I'M a mother too, I'm a professional. I work full-time. I do other things like. I have so many things on my plate, but I can tell you that the Lord has been helping me with my hair. Is it easy? It is certainly not easy, but as long as I prioritize my hair and as long as I involve God in the whole equation, I tell you that his grace has been sufficient and I want to encourage you that that same grace is sufficient for you and I Pray that you are inspired by this video and that you are able to unveil your hair of all of those things and trust God. The one who created your hair to help you to fully embrace the hair and to fully take care of it so that you can see the glory your hair begin to glow glow glow to the glory of God all right. Thank you so much for watching this. Video and I look forward to bringing you more natural content bye for now.

Mrs. Charity Umar Natural Hair Care: Hello ladies! I appreciate all of your responses! Here are a few things as you watch the video: ➡️One’s relationship with God is key to being able to discern the things that please the Father and vice versa ➡️In the video, I shared my understanding from the holy scriptures as a Bible believing born again Christian as it relates to our natural hair and my experience of not using artificial in hopes that it inspires other women ➡️You have a choice to continue to use artificial hair but I have to add that we will all give account to God for everything we do whether we believe in God or not (Romans 14:12) ➡️Lastly motive is very important. We must examine why we do what we do and ask: “do those reasons give glory to God? (1 Corinthians 10:31) Again, it boils down to your relationship with God. If you don’t have a relationship with God, it will be very difficult to understand all this. If you have a relationship with God, I encourage you to pray about this and let the Lord lead you into all truth. Thank you for watching the video. -Mrs. Charity Umar❤️

nadell mingle: Thanks Sis You're absolutely right, society has decived women. I was once like that not happy and caring for my hair, therefore I went on from weave ons to braids the same day at salons to look pretty. Now, I have been on my natural journey for almost 3 yrs. Whenever I wear my hair out, everyone admires it and was wants to grow theirs. My hubby encouraged me and I'm grateful to God for opening my eyes

Mia P.: I was just having this conversation with my sister. We are both naturals. I just suffered a major set back of breakage. Stuffing my hair under a wig and not caring for it is a major culprit in that set back! I started wearing wigs after my twins were born, two years ago. I had retained so much length and fullness and the fullness is gone due to breakage. I believe God led me to your channel so that my hair can be restored. My husband loves my natural hair and my goal is to restore it back to the glory it was created to be. God bless you sis! Keep making this content. Your life is such an inspiration all those who follow your channel! ❤❤❤❤ love you!

Hannah Omiragi: Thank you sis @Nique Farrington. You just spoke my mind. We should be careful about how we interpret scriptures. Then our motive matters a lot. If to go by anything, I am so proud of my natural hair. But with so many responsibilities, I couldn't keep up with them alone. I use braided wigs, but try to ensure that my natural hair is still being cared for by deep conditioning, moisturising and the LOC method. A sister said there are protective styles you can wear for 1 week without extensions or artificial hair; where I live, hair-making is pretty expensive. How do I get to make my hair every week considering other bills? I used to make them myself, but as I said earlier, my responsibilities increased. I used to work from 5:30 am -11:00 pm every day. Where do I get the time to braid my hair? What if I don't know how to braid my hair myself? I work even at weekends! I work on Sundays too after church service. Plus mom duties and wife duties. Many won't take their time to read a person's response and understand before commenting. People should learn to put themselves in other people's shoes and try to understand them a bit. My hair gets shrunken so easily and has low porosity. If I try to style it, wait to see me at the end of the day. Because it works for sister Charity doesn't mean it will work for everyone. But I learnt some things from what she said, about taking care of our natural hair. That lesson I picked. As for using artificial hair, every man to his convictions. My motive is not to impress anyone but my story above is my reason. It has not stopped me from being a child of God hallelujah! I still have the Holy Spirit, in me and He talks to me every day. He's My best friend. As for those saying, "is that the excuse you will give God on the judgment day?", I don't have to wait till the judgment day to know what God thinks. I'm His child and He speaks to me. 1 Corinthians 2 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁰ But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ¹¹ For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. If I am erring, He will let me know. I don't have to wait till judgment day. Again I say your motive matters. Do you know that even your natural hair can become an idol? If God frowns at that, some would say, "but God, it's my natural hair! I didn't add anything like all those worldly sisters!" And God will say, " but it has been your idol!". In the same vein, if you idolize artificial hair, God will not take it too. He is against idolatry-which is extreme admiration or love for something. Or the worship of something other than God as though it were God. Those saying that "using artificial hair is telling God that He didn't do a good job, why do you use hair conditioners, creams lotions and the likes? Leave your hair the way it is, after all, everything He made is good. Why do you use modern clothes? Please use animals' skin as raw as it is just like God clothed Adam and Eve before driving them out of the gardento show that you appreciate what He has done. Don't use cars, use donkeys. After all the Lord Jesus rode on a donkey. Hehehe sarcasm intended. Please let's balance these things and be careful. There are times God can give specific instruction to a person and there is that tendency to generalize it as an instruction for everyone. The key is to know God for yourself. Talk to Him about everything and do what pleases Him. After all, we would all stand alone to give an account of ourselves. Lastly, Romans 14 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³ Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. … ⁵ One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. ⁶ He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. … ¹² So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. … ²² Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. HAPPY IS HE THAT CONDEMNETH NOT HIMSELF IN THAT THING WHICH HE ALLOWETH. Whether you use artificial hair or not, take care of your natural hair. Be neat. If you use artificial, let it not be because you are not proud of your natural hair. Your motive matters a lot. Don't do it to impress people or give a false impression. Natural or artificial, don't idolize your hairdo. Shalom.

Wonderfully Made Natural Girl: With you 100% women do no need to do all these things. The money they spend buying all these things should be spending buying things to care for their natural hair. Some of these women do not even need all these wigs and hairs , they have beautiful natural hair. It’s like a woman cut off her eyebrows and then redraw it with a pencil. So sad, invest in your natural hair! It is worth it

CarolSings: Actually I’m not a deeper life member but I can relate to what she says. Ever since I got born again and started to grow with the Holyspirit he has revealed many things concerning hair to me. 1. Bright Colored hair pink, green yellow etc is from the devil and it is demonic 2. He also told me that I should do more natural hairstyles 3. When I did attachment dreadlocks he was not happy about it and many other things I can’t even say. It’s not easy at all to be totally natural but I try my best sometimes

Nickynatro *: I am a Christian and I don't wear jewelry or extensions however, I think we misinterpret what the bible says about braided hair. I soley believe it depends on your reason for wearing it. If you are wearing it because you believe you are not pretty enough, that's wrong. However, a busy mom who has no time to style their hair daily I believe that is a valid reason. If braiding hair is wrong, wearing a false tooth is wrong. Let's move from the basic things and focus on higher things. Braids really cause breakage though. Have a great day.

1GoldenBreeze: Although I've never worn extensions or hair that isn't my own I can not say it was because of my Christianity. I don't think I ever even thought of it in those terms. For me, it was just too much trouble to try to add hair, and I didn't understand how I could take care of my hair with extensions in it. I knew for certain that I wasn't going to let weeks pass without water and shampoo touching my scalp and hair so that meant that extra hair was not an option. Finally, I felt happy and satisfied with my own hair.

Dreamer411: Thank you for this well spoken video. I have decided to Sisterloc my hair and stop using artificial hair. This is a better option for me, that was my real hair can flourish, I can spend less time on my hair and on other things to further his kingdom.

Jolaoluwa joanna: Ohhh myyy thank you so much for this video! The sense of satisfaction with the hair God has given us.❤️❤️❤️

A House Of Prayer Ministries: Just today I was literally just contemplating to get my hair done in box braids. But God I just randomly came across this video, he really spoke to me.

Sunnyside Stories and Music: Hey Charity, I just love your videos and I often come back to them when I need a positive uplift. I agree that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I have to constantly keep my mind from reading and seeing certain things, even reading YouTube comments (I read today where someone’s mom bought her a gift card for Botox when she was 25…25!… I guess I just live in another world.. Botox was the last thing I was thinking about in my 20’s!) in my late 30’s now… What are your thoughts on foundation and blush for a woman as she ages?

Natural Woman: WOW! I just read the comments & I must say I’m surprised that so many women are attacking Charity’s message. People who love GOD must love others. I wore a weave for 5 years. I stopped Because my husband encouraged me to wear my natural hair. It’s now striving & so much cheaper than my weave was. I wasn’t convicted to remove it but I removed it anyway. I wear jewelry & I wear makeup & heels. You’ve given me something to pray about Charity. Don’t be dismayed & please don’t stop posting. There’s only one truth & that’s GOD’s truth! The word of GOD does not return void. Isaiah 55:11 ❤️

Angenette Mitchell: Amen queen you speak a lot of true .I wore wigs for years thank God I love my own natural hair my hair is healthy and strong thank you

Licia Ann: Thank you Jesus for this I’ve been battling with this loving on my natural hair because God told me to stop wearing weave

Empowered Femininity: Excellent video! I feel as though you should be direct and speak on the dependence of many black women hair on the wigs and weaves. There honestly is no reason why Black women should be so dependent on wigs and weaves all the time. with so much information out here now we should be embracing our hair and taking care of it properly! It's fine for rare or special occasions, but every single day? Absolutely not! But This like many other videos will go over many Black womens' heads, no pun intended, and they will keep depending upon the fake hair. I pray for our sisters!

Makeda Russell: Amen!!! Indeed, I was inspired! Thank you. May the Lord bless you abundantly, you and your entire household in Jesus Mighty Name.

Angela Gardener: Amen sis I do believe the hair is also used for idol worship and the hair oftentimes is chemically treated which can create scalp issues because it does not belong on our head I myself used to wear the braids weave extension but over a period of time instead of protected my hair it began to thin it out God bless you my sister for this teaching I have learnt to embrace what God gave me that is growing out of my scalp.

merci tumusifu: On the jugement day God will bring this testimony to those who are giving their ideas about taking care of our hair. Let's be natural as God wants. Simple. I praise God I threw away All what was belonging to Satan. Wigs and high hills. May God continue to change me in and out for his glory.

Cindy Arbouine: You are preaching my sister. God spoke to me through this message. Father you are so good!!!

KeepinitRealLiz: You have said everything that I wanted to say !!!

YouTube Name Undecided: The question I ask above what you've stated is how do we encourage young girls to love themselves when we don't show our natural self (most young kids may have weaves but they want to start using make up). Hear me out for a second, if I a mother/aunt wearing a weave because I am busy, or whatever reason I come up with, it could be I wear make-up to look professional, weaves are easy to maintain etc. and everything else that goes along with being a working woman, how am I showing the young girls, daughters, nieces, neighbours children, that you are beautiful the way you are. You don't have to have the straight hair or perfect face, straight nose etc. that your hair may not be straight but it is beautiful if I can't show it in my life. I love the natural hair movement because it has given many woman the strength to realise they don't need to straighten their hair to be beautiful, or professional, natural hair is good. If the young chldren are seeing the adults only going for weaves, make-ups etc. they will also want to follow suite, and if they don't like that naturally they hate themselves and can't wait to be grown so that they can buy these things for themselves. I believe, we have been convinced so much but not realising the damage to the self exteem of the young girls who are already living with a low self-esteem.

Anastacia Moise: Amen! God bless you and I appreciate your boldness. We are God’s creation and we are fearfully and wonderfully made. So women know need to know that they are beautiful whether their is long or short because God doesn’t make mistake and like you said after He created nan, He thought it was really good. Hod bless you sis

Johnda Ash: Your hair is BEAUTIFUL, Sis! Praise and Honor to the Most High! Thank you!

Cheina Belonce: What are your insights to those that are rendered hairless due to reasons beyond their control?

triple T: Thanks so much Charity!!!it's the bitter truth indeed.i really pray that one day I get rid of depending on artificial hair I have had the conviction for a long time...unrelated though love your Facial skin ❤️ any tips?

rhoda jesuferanmi: I agree with you ma I've never used attachment in my life. God bless you ma

Omotoye Mercy: Thanks for this piece ma'am God bless you I barbed my hair last year cause I feel there's no improvement probably with the artificials am adding to it,but watching your videos makes me want to start afresh, please do you have any recommendations for me as a beginner without adding any artificials to it

Lakisha Arrington: Thank you so much for this video I let my weave go also God spoke to me and told me the reason my nape want grow because I want let the braids go

Cat Lady: Everything you said ♥️ God bless you

Kansiime immy: This teaching has blessed me too God bless you Woman of God

Nathalie Thomas: Good message. The main reason is satisfaction and that translates to loads of other things/areas in our l Iives. Too much material things hampering our journey.

Maggie Vada: Yeah unless cancer strikes, best to wear what GOD gave us. Even short tapered styles are nice if done well. Other long options to with OUR own hair. Good video.

Yaa Asafo: Wow the comment section. I don’t think our sister is trying to make anyone feel guilty and you shouldn’t hear her message as such. This is what’s she’s glean from the Bible and it’s her conviction. She’s doing what she does according to her faith. If you wear hair extensions and don’t see a problem with it or haven’t been convicted. Continue and let’s not attack someone under their OWN video. Lol we don’t want her to stop posting.

JoyB Naturals: Thank you for this " they look like the real thing but they are not" I think it's lack of knowledge in Gods word and not seeing that we are complete in Christ and so no need for all this attachment. Please preach it dear, I tell young folks around me anytime I get the chance.

Rickia Herbin: Hi, would twisting/ braiding your natural hair be okay, I have curly hair and braid it and put it in twist to give it a break from wearing it out and myself a break from doing it so much, putting it in a protective style. Would there be anything wrong with that, would God approve?

Whos That Girl : I understand what your saying. I have never worn extensions or fake hair

Maimo Bianca: The first time I came across your video, I felt you were a lil girl. Like you young like in your teens. Then I saw “Mrs” and I am like, is she kidding? Father grant me the grace, wisdom and strength to manage all my activities and hair like Mrs Charity and to put you Lord above every thing. Amen

ANGEL FISHER: I agree %

Eumarol: Irmã Deus te abençoe muito porque isso não se fala hoje em dia, Deus seja louvado ainda há remanescente na palavra original. Desculpa pelo comentário em português. Sou Moçambicana

Nana adwoa Asiedua: May the good lord continue to protect you and your family, Amen.

The Narrow way: For anybody in doubt, simply ask God from the bottom of your heart not just justify yourself and be willing to obey. Cant we even see what all this artificial stuff is doing to our hair, face, and even skin? Some have grown older than their age simply because of addiction to make-up. No more confidence to go out without any artificial additions. Some are hooked to false eyelashes, nails, etc. The moment you add something else to God's glory you are losing that glory to satan (if you like say God forbid! but that is the fact) That is why it is difficult for us to remain natural cos we have compromised. I got delivered from every form of falsehood about 8years ago and I never looked back since.

DS: This was a very interesting video! I do not wear artificial hair at all due to preference. I rather wear my own hair. I think we as Christians have to be careful of adding rules/restrictions that causes being a Christian to be a burden. The Jews in the Bible added so many rules and regulations to be followed that it was more about following the rules than Christ. I don’t say this to say that Charity has not been convicted by God to not wear artificial hair. At the same time, I do believe that some people may think their preference is the standard rule (I’m not saying that Charity thinks so). In my understanding, it comes down to motive. I know people that go from weave to weave. You never see them with their hair…..they feel more attractive with the artificial hair and it has become an idol. If someone decides to wear artificial braids as a protective style to go on vacation because they don’t want to travel with a whole bunch of products and want a break, that is a functional decision…. it may not be because they feel more pretty with braids. Someone can put so much emphasis into their own natural hair that it can become an idol as well. They can go overboard with buying products, doing different hairstyles, be so attached to it that it can become a problem. It’s fine to have our own preferences, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that someone making a different decision is wrong. Someone may believe that wearing hair accessories is wrong….when it’s just their preference. Someone else may think wearing expensive head scarfs is wrong, when it’s just their preference not to do so. God knows our hearts and know our motives in doing things and will guide us accordingly. Wearing artificial hair may be a stumbling block for some, and God may convict them to not wear it at all, and this is ok.

precy val: Please pray for me am bald right now! Artificial hair has destroyed my natural hair. My hair line is receding seriously. Any advice please!

Jacinta Pager: YOUR HAIR IS GOLD.

Katrina Abrone: Teach Sis. Women are getting upset because the enemy will not allow them to understand the things of God and how we are supposed to represent the Kingdom. Remember they were upset with Paul for preaching in Corinth and people stopped worshipping the goddess Artemis. It put alot of silversmiths who prospered from making statues of her out of business. Can you imagine what would happen to the makeup and weave industries if people became obedient and followed the truth? You are stepping on toes and the devil is mad!

A House Of Prayer Ministries: Could u make a video on hairstyles for busy college students that is simple and lasts.

CijiInc. Everything Home : wish I had like minded Christians like you at my church…. Xoxo

Kie4-헤: I have a question! Did you wear make up on your wedding.because I feel like my family will force me to wear it or call me weird for not wearing it. Do you have tips to look good natural on your wedding day?

Yvelore Pierre: Good job woman of God. Teach us. May God bless u.

Ema Papillon: God want us to keep his temple clean and beautiful that's why he gave us the knowledge of the esthetic we should embellish it with the right intention.right intention means do it for a valid reason.not to seduce not to please people because they don't think you're naturally beautiful.

Lyn Slewis: If all had ur beautiful long hair hun, it would be easier to say that we don't need fake hair. But it's very difficult for me.

Stella Adie: Hello, is it right to have natural locks instead of adding artificial hairs?

Ema Papillon: It's easy to say when you have time to do your hair and have beautiful hair genetically. The natural hair can make God angry at you too when you style it to please people or seduce.when you give it more attention than God.so it's really your intention, not what you're doing or putting in your hair. The Bible is to read with the help of God to be understood.not just grammatically

Sam Zeh Elephant 🐘: Today I have been at dentist as since I was young I had issues with teeth. Yes God gave me beautiful teeth however I am taking care of them as per the dental I brush twice, floss do all but I keep loosing them today I had to remove 2 and and next week to. I have no teeth to chew and the dentist suggested dentures or implant if I have money. Is this wrong? Should I live my mount with no teeth and only eat porridge? I believe the reason behind us doing something is what matters. Some ladies they were weave because they have lesser time to take care of such on daily bases however on daily bases the time they have is to carry the message of the Gospel and win others to Christ, love and pray for others, for the nations, vist the sick, help the poor, do the work of the ministry. While they have those weave on they are glorifying God by preaching this Gospel. They said Lord thank you by your Grace We are saved and by the Power of the Holy Spirit let you will and your purpose be done in my life. Let me be the labor to harvest as the harvest is ripe. They stood for Christ and his works. All their works are not glorifying God because of the external appearance that is not so pushed by immoral heart and though, but still look beautiful and dignified while they do the work of God guided by the Holy spirit and by the grace of God. We learn every day and the way to proper understand and learn is that we share our though and the Holy spirit guides us through the word of God To truly know the truth God want us to know and live by. God is the spirit. We are the children of Grace not the law. Much loveeeeeee.

Ema Papillon: A lot of Christian are leaving churches because you're telling them they can't do something that's not forbidden by God. And the rest are pretending to follow the Bible when they dying inside to enhance their beauty.but they are afraid of what people would says. that's hypocrisy that makes God angry not you.do not please people but God,if your consciousness doesn't condamn you, don't let people do it. As a Christian,as soon as you do something that's not right you will feel guilty and even ashamed to pray.i am telling you

Galwin Samuel: Sister is it sin to use minoxidil?

Nique Farrington: 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father, but is of the world. I don’t believe it’s about the false hair but what we think about it when we wear it. The intentions by which we wear the hair, is it to be vain, seduce, charm etc. When my kids were little and I had to be at work by 8 and got up at six to do devotions, then get ready for everyone to get out, to get to work on time,. I didn’t have time to do my hair. My hair was not long so I used extensions so that it lasted at least two months. I washed and condition and oiled my scalp. I didn’t leave it or ignore it. My hair thrive in that state and got very long. I don’t believe that God saw it as a counterfeit and he loved me just the same. I didn’t use it for vain but rather something that helped me and my family in the busyness of life. My kids are older and have a 9 old. I suffered some Health issues that caused my hair to break and thinned out. Etc. God has healed me, I used the braids agin using the extensions to grow my hair. Caring for it and the hair took time to rest and again my hair is growing back and thriving again and I give God thanks because it’s still him that over see my hair but also gives me the wisdom to know what works for me and my hair. Sometimes we have to be-careful how we interpret scripture so that we don’t become dogmatic in beliefs and understanding because still it will not hinder us making it into to heaven. There are cases where people said God gave them a personal conviction not to do certain things and that is fine, as God spoke to the individual soley and that is fine also but it’s personal. At the end of the day we All must know God for ourselves and have a personal relationship with him so we know when he is speaking to us. We can also still share what we learn in love and continue to share good hair information. There are some good pointers that Mrs. Charity has shared in other post that has helped me tweak my regiment. Be Bless Ladies

JoyB Naturals: When you are giving the illusion of what is not is also called DECEPTION'

diddlydooha: of course the idol-worhipping Baals are going to try to attack you, however if they listened to HOW you state your claims, and then try to chew, swallow then let the idea settle in their minds they'd get the fuller understanding. I fully understand you and it has nothing to do with the long, thick hair you have why you're saying that. You are not attacking those with hair/scalp problems. You are dealing with the idolatrous females. I have seen those ankle-length weaves/braids/wigs in church and wondered "what the heyyyyyyyyyy are those females thinking??!!!

Bee A.: Girl, you made good points from the second one but the first point I beg to defer. There is nothing in these world that can overshadow the glory of God in one's life, Absolutely Nothing... John 1:5 - The light shines in darkness and darkness cannot comprehend it. It's quite insultive to say something made by man can overshadow the light of God in one's life. The glory of God is the Light of God...It is a spiritual covering, it is not physical...So Nothing physical can out do the spiritual. As a Christian, you should know we are first spirits before physical and we worship God in Spirit and in Truth. God, Himself is Spirit. Also, intent is what matters....Prob 16:2, Prov. 21:2, James 4:3... Our intent/motives is what matters. Even if I were to agree with you on this table, I'll take extensions out because it doesn't totally cover the hair and the Bible does refer to women braiding their hair. However with the advent of all sorts of wigs which totally shields the entire head/hair/nature of a woman giving them a totally different look you can barely recognise them at times, then perhaps one can discourage that if the motives was wrong which we know most do these days.... They want to look like what they are not and give others false impression which burdens on deception and like you said sometimes people are shocked when they find out those aren't their real hair. However, extensions don't give such mirage. I can go on but I'll stop here. Also,.I don't expect you to agree with this ok. Just giving another perspective. I do understand your church gave you that doctrine. However you should search God's heart for you and also know God has different expectations for everyone sometimes e.g the story of Samson, he was not to cut his hair... However, men are allowed to cut their hair in the Bible. So my point sometimes an instruction giving to one is not for all.

nawe relevant: I really like to have a good hair but the problem is money to buy condition and the others things

Endless Beauty: So glad I am delivered from the fake hair. Our oppressors have put out that our natural beauty is unprofessional and that is what have caused black women to have low self esteem, when we are in the work place we have been told "Oh you have to do something with your hair, its too nappy, prompting us to flat iron, press and perm our hair or wear wigs. Some of this started when the Black Panthers in the 70s and black people who wore afros, they were being targeted to be killed because people with afros were seen as rebellious and problematic and that is what caused women to wear the wigs to cover her hair to keep from being killed, so our history of this fake hair was basically forced on us. All of this happening when we are in the image of the Heavenly Father and his Son. My hair is locked and is healthier than its ever been. All Praise to the Most High Many of our women are waking up now and being delivered because this wicked nation is under the Fathers judgment for their wickedness toward his people. Thanks for your message sister.

Britt Blue: Not just hair but nails too

Tifuh 👼🏿: I won’t necessarily call it counterfeit. And God gets angry at so many things I don’t think our hair is one of them!!! Thank God I’m free from this slavery mindset

Hannah Omiragi: I'm sorry, but I feel it's easy to say this because your hair is long right? You can just pack it or style it. 1. What about those with short hair? 2. What about extremely busy career moms? 3. How can one manage ordinary braids from 4C hair that don't last or that look rough a few days after being plaited? 4. Where does she get the time to always braid her hair to look good? 5. What if you use artificial hair and still maintain your natural hair? 6. Are you aware that there are people who see "you" with your natural hair and get confused? Does that make you a liar? 7. The woman's hair is given for her glory, right? But if everything God made was good, where does artificial hair come from? Are they not from the good products that God made? 8. Did God not say again that all things were made for His glory? Does that all things not involve the products used to make artificial hair? Hmmm. Maybe you should share practical tips on how you balance your career, mom duties, wifely duties, church work, and all with maintaining your hair. I think it will be more beneficial.

TracyPureinHeart🌻: All Vanity. Be Blessed

KayJ🌻: I just love truth! God's truth His Word, HolySpirit convicted me to stop wearing weave I was surely faithful in wearing wigs,, weaves,, and braids and I did my own hair and was really good at it,and loved it lol! but I wanted to obey God and that's what I did, so I gave all that up, there are videos on you tube that show how weave is harvested and its people's real hair(lace wigs)(bundles) and these people are worshipping pagan God's..when women wear bundles your wearing someone else's hair on your head attached to your own hair...that was enough for me ..but just pray ladies God will teach you how to take care of your hair, Seek Him he will reveal the truth to you ,thanks for this video sis and for letting the HolySpirit use you, God Bless and keep speaking God's truth

Agnes Mbemba: Well said according to your perception, let me ask you something...(hair-attachments) could be one, what about wearing EXPENSIVE cloths, high hills, nice and expensive slippers, lipshine as you have applied in your lips is it worthy before God?

Jartu Stevens: ❤

bertha mgazwa: Thanks you my dear and be blessed

Hadasa Esther:

Favour Chukwunyere: In one word sha ,artificial hair stylers would go to hell fire...

chaye: But don't we hide the hair when you cover your head with a scarf for church??? Or is hair the covering (1 Cor 11)

Marsha Thomas: The bible said what it says it is clear the bible interprets itself when we wear false hair is like you are saying God you have not done a good job let me help you out. We are fairfully and wonderfully made if the hair is short or long it is very good in God sight It is society cause us not to accept yourself I know if no one was seeing your hair you Would have been comfortable with it. EMBRACE YOUR NATURAL BEAUTY

Lady Diaspora: I feel you sis. But what are your views on shape wear. Just wondering because it to is kinda making a lie because that's not our natural shape.

Kerene Smith: Can we relax or perm our hair?

With one voice: it's trying to compete with the glory of God, which is very serious ...it makes us lazy ...its a lie...burying our hair Powerful

Angella Mtimuni: Thank you for the information..what about African threading?

Nicola Hibbert: So if adding hair takes away His glory what about ear rings

Brown Adejumoke: Pls how can I grow my hair like urs, I want to stop attachment

sabina Nana Hemaa God'sown: Thanks dear sis, please how can i grow my hair fast and long my natural hair

4 our Children: A lot of you do not moisturize your hair before you style it ...and stop adding all those hair products directly to your scalp you clog your pores...I add product directly to my hair.you can add some scalp oil and keep it movin

Ema Papillon: I understand that you have to sell your product but don't use God to sell them because he doesn't like that sis. Artificial hair is not a sin it's the intention that makes it a sin.

Christina Woodard: As a Christian, I think some black women are concerned too much even about natural hair. In ways, I think some black women need to cover their hair up using head scarves and stylish hats.

Monica Ramos: Charity I like some of your videos but this one I have to respond. You have long beautiful natural hair . If a person like me who suffers from thyroid disorders and have problems with hair falling and breakage, it means that God is going to condemn me because I use a wing of extension. What about the sisters that are bald or losing their hair due to alopecia or cancer. Should they remain bald and has hole in their hair because God going to condemn them.Charity I think you should put your self in other people shoes before you make a video about why people should not use extension or wings. Charity; I love you as a Christian person but I disagreed with you.

Ema Papillon: Just because God is telling you not to wear anything artificial doesn't mean it's not good for everyone.maybe he just want you to be special look at Samson.God did not want him to drink or cut his hair because he was special to him,but long hair and no liquor was not a rule for all of them. If God tell you personally not to wear it just don't do it but don't make it seem as a sin for other people.

Kaaaa aaaaa: No disrespect but their are so many things happening in and around the world and here you are talking about false hair, ppl in need of food medication love help in so many ways and you here talking about false hair God will judge everyone according ppl need to be more spiritual and not religous stay bless my dear

Lavender flowers: I think you're being a tad bit legalistic.

Sunnyside Stories and Music: Hey Charity, are you an Apostolic Pentecostal?

Seidi Griffith: Not everyone has presentable, long looking hair ,some people suffer from alopecia, sirysis and other issues that create hair loss. So a person should walk around with ugly unpleasant looking hair? I think for someone who is qualified in the medical industry you should be more open minded.

Thanks Mercy Eromosele: Is that your hair?

J.g Orenne: Ridiculous!

Kate W:

solarLola: There’s no where in the Bible that says wigs are bad or it affects glory. This is simply your assumption or literal interpretation. What about women who suffer from hair loss or a bald ? You need to study more about why hair is meant as a woman’s glory. You took that passage very literally. Even Jewish women wore wigs back in the day. Most of the cons you said about attachments can be applied to people who don’t wear attachments. Very bias. I’ve seen people with dry natural breaking hair who don’t wear wigs but too lazy to take care of their hair. They wear scarves and neglect their hair

FranceH: Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve been blessed.

Sheila Jones: Ridiculous, these scriptures are taken fsr out of context and should not be used to bring women under conviction to your own personal convictions !!!!!!! Women, study to show yourselves approved unto God, Not people !!!!! Ridiculous. Sj.⚘️
