Hey guys, Oh Jenelle, here, welcome back to my channel and in today's video I've got some goodies from Creole essence. So, a few weeks ago I went to the flourish media conference in Miami, which is an annual conference for women in business, and I met a lot of really liked dope people here and one of the folks that I met was a lady over from Creole essence. She gave a speech about her brand and about the products, and I was really intrigued. So let me show you guys what I have here in this bag. I didn't get the whole line. I just got a couple things to try. First, before I go crazy buying stuff, because y'all know, I got way too many things in my house. The first thing that I got was the Haitian black, castor oil and as the Caribbean woman, I know the magic of Castro oils. So my bestie Sasha was like listen driver. There is a truth, annotation she Haitian, so you know what women, empowerment, Caribbean, empowerment. I support it here we go so this is a 100 % Haitian black, castor oil rosemary mint scent, and I can smell it to the packaging and I just love the whole minty vibe and the weight tingles on your scalp. Now I've used castor oil in the past to seal my ends. I'Ve used it for dry patches in my skin. I want to start using it to try to grow. My eyebrows, I don't know I'd, be micro, bleed and it would be nice to have some real hair, so I'm gon na experiment with that. Maybe in another video we can talk about if I've seen any difference with that. This right here has a lot of uses and it can be very beneficial in many different ways. So when she was talking about the brand, like one thing that I found super super cool about, it is that it is natural with a purpose. It says a Creole essence brings natural hair, skin and body products from Haiti to the world. Are eco-friendly formulations are made from pure and botanical ingredients and with a special focus on dry, hair and skin? We are passionate about creating jobs, protecting the islands, environment and empowering women. We promise that every purchase you make will have a positive and global impact, so this product is all natural. It has no fillers, no parabens, no sulfates, no synthetic dyes and no silicones and that's a promise. It says right here, so this line um, like I said, does contain a lot of different things. They have body scrubs shea butter. They have shampoos conditioners leoben's, like facial cleansers, but I have the black, castor oil and I also purchased the deep conditioning hair mask which is made with Haitian black castor oil. So I'm always here for a nice, deep, conditioner and feeling deep conditioning is so important and that's kind of what rejuvenates are here and keep it looking healthy and fresh and cute. It says to apply to washed hair and that's it for 10 minutes. An inch of cool water for deeper conditioning, which you are me or for go sit under the dryer, so we will be sitting under the dryer and it says some extra tips is. You can add 4 drops of the castor oil for extra, deep conditioning so based on what again, I'm gon na probably use um, like my formulate, shampoo and conditioner, maybe later on um, depending if I like, these I'll, actually go ahead and purchase those and try it Out, I'm gon na leave all her information down below their website their social media. So if this is something that you would be interested in, trying supporting our island, women, our black women, our women with curly, hair or conscious of everything around them like definitely go ahead and try this out. It does come in this very cute bottle. Their packaging is hello. West, Indian. I am here for a look at a wood top, it's so cute, even on the deep conditioner went up, so I can smell the mint before I even opened it mmm kind of reminds me of like Alaba soil like when you have a cold a little bit, But no it's in a very nice bottle. Here'S the stopper, so I guess this really helps you to not take up too much. The consistency of castor oil is very thick, but it absorbs very well so, like initially when you put it on. It feels a little aggressive, but it absorbs into your skin and I just rubbed a drop into my hand, and if you look at it now, it's not particularly shiny or greasy, and it's not a greasy oil. If that made, it probably doesn't so um. So this is a very old and still wash and go. What I'm gon na do is go ahead and pre pull my hair before I shampoo and condition just to add in a little excess moisture because um you know it's been a while. I really like this bottle. It'S very like the dropper is very secure, like it's not gon na just suck fallout. I think there's a stopper in there kind of so I just took a little bit like this much I'm just gon na rub it through my hair. Usually, when I use oils, I tend to use them for sealing um helps hold in the moisture after you use your stylus whoa. I love that minty vibe burns my eyes, but it's a good bird. It'S a great bird! So I'm gon na go ahead around the length of my hair, I'm gon na hop into the shower and then I'm going to come back and we're gon na get into this deep conditioner. You guys, I just blew it. I thought it was recording and I wasn't so I kind of messed up. But anyway. Ladies and gentleman, I opened up this deep conditioner and when you look at it it looks super super thick and heavy, but when you actually like feel it it kind of feels like soft and whit. It'S very interesting. This is deja boo'. This is what it looks like in the container. It'S very firm. It moves nowhere, but it's very soft - and I actually maybe took this much the first time I applied and I'm taking that same amount just to finish up this back section. It'S smells like it has a minty vibe to it. I'M not sure if that's like residue from the oil, when I did the pre-poo and I will say like if you are a pre-poo or do be careful in the shower because you know hazard zone. But when I rinsed this one out, it did not make my bathtub extreme the slippers. I was actually okay and I did not die today yo. I just ran this deep condition right into my hair. Let'S see huh, I did not detangle and wanted to detangle with the deep conditioner but uh yeah okay, this brush this comb is going through like butter like anyway, I'm gon na work my way around my head and then I'm gon na just let it sit in My hair for about 30 minutes or so um I'll sit on the Juke dryer and really let it do its thing marinated in there and I'll be back so bright. So I just spent an hour sweating under the dryer. Let'S see what's going on with this hair, it does feel super soft. I really like the smell of this kind of like a it smells like the Castro, but has like a floral kind of mine. Let'S go wash, it out, see helmet okay, so I've washed out the deep conditioner, and let me tell you Oh my hair feels so so this is it with absolutely no product, and then I just washed it out. It feels soft. It feels moisturized. It feels really amazing. I am really looking forward to trying some of the other products from this line, but if you guys have used Crale essence and tried any of their other products, please let me know what you think of it down below. I am looking apart to some other things from their line. Let me know what you guys think I should try next I'll see you next video
