Ah, I wish I had the hair I had on my twenties thirties, even forties hi. My name is Jane and welcome to my channel I like to do makeup and hair reviews for the more mature woman, and today I am doing a hair video for women over 50. Why? Because when you hit 50, your hair gets drier, especially if you diet and cover your Gray's. It gets more frizzy and just gets so thin. So here are some products that I use and some tips and you have to excuse the background noise of my dog snoring. This is a follow-up to another video that I'll link up here. This is the olaplex. We can call it a conditioning treatment, it's a treatment. It'S a bond builder. I'Ve been using it for about 6 months now and I totally notice the difference, but you do have to use it once or twice a week. I feel like my hair is a little less frizzy err, I feel like I have the curl back, which I lost from doing the keratin treatments and also I had some breakage from the keratin treatments and this this definitely helped. So it's so worth the money and you really don't need to use a lot. This is from Bath & Body Works and it's a protective hair perfume. Obviously, since you get older in your hammers dryer, you don't need to wash it as much so I wanted something for in-between if it felt a little stinky. I thought I'm stinky, but you understand I bought it for that purpose, but it also has a low - and I don't know it kind of made, my hair soft and it revived my curl. It also has a UV protector which comes in handy. You know we want to protect our scam and why not protect our hair, and this is the Bali black coconut sands, put my glasses on it. Just it smells heavenly. So, even if it doesn't help you with frizz, your hair will smell good, deep conditioning your hair is a must when you are over 50, at least once a week or once every two weeks. I love the Shea Moisture line. You know that I review their products over and over, but this is their deep treatment masque and it's different from the keratin one. I review this one just has the raw shea butter and sea kelp and argan oil. I love it made my hair smooth again. I use it once a week go by which leads me to another by accident product that has Aragon oil in it as well. It'S the Alando pita glossing shampoo. Now I bought this at Costco because my family goes there's so much shampoo and I just want to get something that was big. That was a little moisturizing. It'S also sulfate free. I didn't know if it was gon na work. I figured if I don't use it. My family will use it yeah they get the scraps, but it's actually good and you get this whole. Can you see this whole big one and you know Costco always has a good price, so you can't beat that here's one of my hacks I learned on set. It'S a very simple one: it helps with frizzies, it doesn't take a totally way, but it helps you take hairspray. I use Tresemme. I think hair sprays are pretty much along the same. It'S just my opinion. I spray an old toothbrush or a new one, and then I cover so gently glided on the frizzies. You don't want to press too hard. The spray helps keep them down and you just glide it through your hair, softly wherever you see a little wispies and it helps my other tip. Trim your hair don't be afraid to trim it. Now I'm not saying to go out and get a bob, because you know like after you're forty or anybody tells you you got to cut your hair. I mean this isn't 1950. We all don't have to have the same hairdo. You can have long, ish hair. As long as you trim it and take care of it, and you really need to trim it at least every four to six weeks, sometimes I push it to eight weeks, but when I push it past then I actually noticed my hair gets scraggly and looks thinner And as soon as I cut it, it just looks thicker and the curl comes back, so don't be afraid your hair will still grow and it's you know if it's past your shoulders, it's fine, you don't to feel like you know. Oh, I have short hair or short hair. You don't have to feel that way. Just trim it half an inch snitch every two months and you're good to go. I hope you enjoyed this video and usually give it a thumbs up subscribe and let me know in the comments below, if you tried any of these products or if you have an over-50 hair hack,

Ranalynn’s Lifestyle in Hawaii: Me too. I wish I had the hair I had in my 20’s too. Excellent recommendations for us mature gals. Hugs

Scully's House of Thrillers: Jayne, I saw your comment on Shelly Saves the Day. I've been a hair stylist for 20 years, and most of my client's are between 40-60. I love small channels like yours. You have a few editing skills, I see. Me: I write thrillers, and read them aloud with sound and b-roll on Youtube. Very nice to meet you. I'm sticking around for more content. Scully

Cheeky Tam: I want my 20's hair back. Although I use to always have oily hair so at least the drying out part is not so bad. Your dog's snore so cute. Some amazing products there I'll have to look out for some of those here. I love pump bottles for shampoo and conditioners. OMG yes the amount of people saying you need to cut your hair to a short style. I get my hair trimmed all the time too. Also with hot flushes I like to be able to get all of the hair off my face sometimes and put it up.

tragedy6996: I'm definitely going to try a few of these products
