Hey guys welcome to today's video, so today i'm going to be talking about one of my favorite brands, and that is the ordinary. Now i'm not going to be talking about skincare today, as i'm going to be talking about their hair care line and, as you may have heard, there are three new hair products and then, of course, there is the original hair serum, which is the multi peptide for Hair density, now i'm going to be talking about all four of them in today's video. I'M also going to be reviewing them, i'm going to be inserting video clips so that you can see how they work in my hair. How i like to use them, especially the two serums, so let's get right into it, but don't forget to subscribe and ring that notification bell and also don't forget, to give this video a big thumbs up as well. So before we get into today's review, i want to let you all know that this video is sponsored by destium and honestly. I am so excited and grateful, and this is honestly a dream come true when they asked. If i wanted to partner up with them and talk about their hair care line, i didn't hesitate. I said yes, absolutely. You all know how much i loved sem. I love the ordinary, i love the neon line and i think you can probably tell how much i love this brand based on all of the videos that i have on my channel. So again, this is in partnership, but everything that i share in today's video is based on my own experience and my own opinions. I'M always transparent and honest with you guys. Transparency is key here on my channel. So if i like something, i'm going to tell you and if i dislike something, i'm also going to tell you so let's get right into it, but again, thank you so much dm for sponsoring today's video, so the three new hair products that the ordinary has just Recently launched is the cleanser for hair and body. We have the conditioner and the natural moisturizing factors, plus hyaluronic acid, hair serum and then, of course they have their original hair. Serum that's been for a little while now, and that is the multi-peptide for hair density. So they have two serums and they're very different from one another which of course we will be talking about in this video, but i'm gon na start off with the hair serums. First, because i'm going to be showing you my hair care routine in this video with different clips, and this is what i would apply first, the night before i wash my hair and then of course condition it. So, let's start with these, so starting off with the natural moisturizing factors, plus hyaluronic acid hair serum. This is very, very similar to the moisturizer for the face from the ordinary. I don't know if you're familiar with the moisturizer, but this has the same approach where it's going to moisturize our scalp, it's going to bring in hydration. If you have any dryness flaky skin or you just want to keep the scalp comfortable, especially if you experience itchiness and whatnot, then this might be a serum that you may want to look into. So you can use this every day and it's ideally used at nighttime. Now i'm going to be honest with you, this is not something that i would use every day only because when i wake up in the morning, i feel like my scalp, like my hair at the root, is a little bit greasy and it's a little bit crunchy As well now, yes, i do apply a fair amount, i'm very generous with this, because with the hair serum you know you want to cover all areas that you want to apply. So for me personally, i do not apply this all over my head. I only apply this to areas where i tend to get dry or maybe where i tend to be a little bit more itchy, and that's usually my hairline and just a little bit in this area right here. I don't apply it to the crown because i do have an oily scalp to begin with, and so i really don't need to moisturize that area at all. Underneath my head, like near the nape of my neck, is pretty comfortable as well. Like i said it's only in this section right here, but of course you can apply it all over your scalp. If you want to every day and the way you go so i like to use it a little bit differently, of course - and this is also something that is going to promote skin barrier function as well. So it's going to help strengthen the skin on your scalp. It'S going to balance it out and just give you a nice healthy, moisturized, hydrated scalp. That is going to last as long as you're consistent with this. So it is a leave-on treatment. You really don't want to apply it to your scalp and then rinse it off an hour later, it's best when it's on your scalp for a long duration. So if you want to use this in the morning - and you can somehow make it work, go for it, but for me personally and according to the ordinary, it's best used, ideally at night. So, as you can see, it has that milky consistency, it's very lightweight and watery, and you want to shake the bottle really well before you use it as well. So i do like to start with the center part. First, applying a few drops and working it in with my fingertips. I should also mention that the ordinary recommends for you to apply this to a clean, dry scalp. Now my scalp is dry, but it's not clean. This is about four or fifth day old hair. So i still achieve great results, even applying this to a dirty scalp, but i thought i would also mention that in case you plan on using it the same way as i am so i just keep sectioning my hair applying the product. As you can see, it's pretty thin, so it's running down my forehead here, but a little bit goes a long way. I find that once it's in your scalp, it does spread really nice, but i still like to be pretty generous, like i said so now. I'M just flipping my hair over to the other side, applying it along the part working it in again, as you can see, my hair is getting a little bit wet. So that's what i mean once this dries down. I feel like when i wake up in the morning. My hair is a little bit crunchy and greasy and there'd be no way that i could go out like that. So i do like to apply this the night before i wash my hair. So, overall, i highly recommend this hair serum. My scalp always feels incredible. When i use it, it does feel more balanced and moisturized, and i don't get that itchiness in this area here now. This is perfect for all skin types, but again perfect. If you have a dry, flaky, itchy, scalp and they're squalling in here, which is going to keep that skin, nice and moisturized there's also hyaluronic acid in here. Even if you don't have these skin issues, it's still nice to do at least once a week just to keep everything nice and balanced. The next product is the multi peptide serum for hair density, and i'm gon na tell you right now. I highly recommend this, and this is absolutely incredible. This is very different from the previous serum that i just shared as this one is to promote healthier, fuller, denser hair. So if you have any areas on your scalp that are thinning or you have baby hairs that you would like to thicken up with more hair, then perhaps you may want to try this and i'm telling you right now. This hair serum does work. At least it did for me - and i did put this product to the test, and i do have two dedicated videos on this in particular, and i do share my before and after photos. So if you haven't seen those i will leave them below for you. In my description box as well as up here, it took six months to fully finish this bottle, because i was only using it along the hairline and i still do. I didn't have to apply it all over my head, but you can and this product is for applying it all over the scalp. But if you only have a couple of problem areas, then just apply this to those specific areas and it will work just as good, especially if you are consistent with this, so this is ideally used once per day in the evening. I do like to use this at night before i wash my hair the next morning, and i do like to use this with the previous hair serum that i just talked about. I do like to apply this onto a dry scalp, which you should, according to the ordinary, and this is best used on clean scalp as well. But when i apply this to my scalp, my scalp is still not clean and again i'm applying this. Basically, on top of the natural moisturizing factors, plus hyaluronic acid hair serum, and i still achieve great results now prior to using the other hair serum, i was using this once or twice per week, anyways to maintain what i had as my end result. I grew a lot of hair back in this area, so just to maintain it. I only use this once or twice a week, but if you really want to be consistent with this and really grow, thicker denser healthier, hair then start using this at least once per day and do that for several weeks or for a couple of months and then After that, you can just do maintenance like i do, but this is amazing, so let me show you how i use it, so this hair serum is very thin. It'S clear in texture as well and as you can see, i'm only applying it to my hairline, where those baby hairs are now before. Applying this to my scalp, i did make sure that the other hair serum was completely dry, so my scalp was not damp. I made sure that it was dry, so, even if you have to go and grab a blow dryer just to dry off a little bit, then that also works. So, as you can see, i'm just applying a little bit along that hairline working it in with my fingers. Honestly, you don't need a lot of this and i would recommend not touching your scalp with the dropper as well, because you don't want to contaminate the product, especially if your hair isn't clean like mine, then for sure you don't want to be touching your scalp with It but i just keep going along the hairline working it in and once i have done all of that i put my hair up in a ponytail or you can put it in a bun whatever you prefer, and i always use a silk scrunchie to do this, Because of course, i'm going to be going to bed with my hair like this, so i don't want anything, that's going to be too damaging on my hair. So i make sure that my hair is pretty much dry before going to bed just to allow everything to absorb properly and then, of course, when i wake up in the morning, it's a hair wash day. The next product is the sulfate four percent cleanser for hair and body, so this is a two in one you can use this everywhere, which i find is really nice, especially if you want to travel with this and you don't want to bring a separate body wash Or your favorite bar soap, then you can just rely on this to do everything now. This contains sulfates, yes and you're. Probably thinking well, sulfates are not good. They shouldn't be in hair care products and we're hearing that a lot in the beauty world right now, where sulfates are bad they're damaging and some of them can be for certain people and sulfates can be pretty harsh in stripping on our hair and our scalp at Higher concentrations but the ordinary has formulated their cleanser at a four percent concentration, so this is much lower than probably what you see in the beauty world, and this is also formulated with a sulfate that is sles 2, and this is a gentle form of a sulfate. This is going to be not as harsh on the hair or on the scalp. This is still going to clean your hair really nicely without it being stripping and damaging, and this really does clean your hair really nicely, and so, if you have sensitive skin or your hair is more brittle or you're nervous, because you have color treated hair. This is great for color treated, hair, great for bleached hair and if you are more on the sensitive side, this might be something that you could look into because again, it's at a four percent concentration and it has a gentle form of a sulfate, and this is Also fragrance free now i will tell you i actually have to wash my hair three times with this now with sulfates. That'S when we get that nice lather. We get that nice foaming up feeling in our hair and we just feel like our hair and our scalp is clean. Now this will lather. But for me it takes three washes to get that nice lather, where i feel content that my hair and my scalp is clean. Now again, i wash my hair one to two times per week, so i always double cleanse my scalp and my hair with other shampoos. Anyways, and so with this one, i felt pretty good after the second cleanse, but i didn't feel content so, like i said i had to go with that. Third cleanse to really make sure everything was super clean, because the texture of this is very thin and you will see that in just a minute in my clip it's very thin, and so it doesn't lather up very nicely. I kind of wish this was a little bit thicker, maybe more in a creamy form, because maybe it would cleanse a little bit better. But again, that's my own opinion, but you might feel like one or two cleanses is enough for you. So this is what the cleanser looks like during the third cleanse. You can see how sudsy and how nicely it's lathering and foaming up now, depending on how dirty your hair is before washing it. You may get to this stage after the first or second cleanse it. Just depends on how dirty your hair is and for me i use a lot of dry shampoo during the week my scalp gets quite oily, so i do get a lot of build up now. I also want to let you know that i found that this cleanser almost feels like a detoxifying clarifying shampoo. It almost feels like that when i'm rinsing, my hair out my ends feel a little bit dry. They feel tangly. It just feels like i've clarified my hair. Now it doesn't say that it's a clarifying or a detoxifying cleanser, but that's how it feels when it's in my hair. So i don't know if it's because i have bleached hair, i don't know. Perhaps you may not even experience that it's not a bad thing. It'S just something that i've noticed with the ends of my hair. I don't get a nice silky soft cleanse after it's rinsed out. My hair just feels like it needs a conditioner, so that leads me to the conditioner. So this is the conditioner, and i really love this - i'm pretty picky when it comes to conditioners or hair masks, because i want something that is going to make. My hair feel silky soft when i'm rinsing it out and i don't want to be fussing with my hair when i'm combing my hair out after i get out of the shower. I really don't want any tangles in my hair, but this conditioner actually makes my hair feel like silk. When i'm rinsing it out. I don't have to fuss with my hair. My comb goes right through it really nicely, and i am super impressed with this, and i really love how lightweight this is as well, because a lot of conditioners and hair masks can weigh my hair down. I mean i got pretty fine hair and i do like to put conditioners in my bangs. I do like to put it from here down and again, a lot of conditioners can weigh my hair down, but this one does not, and this is going to be great for all hair types. But if you have really thick hair or you have curly hair, you may want to be more generous with this when you're applying it in your hair and as you can see here, i do apply a lot. I always do when it comes to conditioners, because i want my hair to feel super soft. I want that shine and i just want my hair to feel really nice, and so i am pretty generous with this and, as you can see, i'm applying it into my hair. It literally looks like i'm not putting anything in my hair, but i promise you that i am. It just gets quickly melted into the hair, and i do like to leave this on for a couple of minutes before rinsing it out and again, it's just absolutely fabulous and i must say that the cleanser doesn't weigh my hair down either. It actually keeps my hair. Looking bouncy, it looks really shiny when i get out of the shower and after my hair is dry and styled, the cleanser is really nice as well, but i do like this one more just because i love the way that it makes my hair feel. I really do recommend all of these products. To be honest with you, i think that these are great options to look into depending on. If you have a dry scalp, you need something to relieve that itch and if you have sparse hair - and you want to create more of that denser fuller, healthier, look to your hair, then that's where the multi peptide hair density serum comes in and then of course, The cleanser and the conditioner are great options as well for every day or, of course, use it when needed. It'S nice to have a selection, sometimes, of course, depending on what you feel like using that day, but they are all really affordable as well, which is really nice. It'S nice that if you're going to be very consistent with the product and if you're going to be going through it pretty quickly, then it's nice to know that the product is still affordable to purchase. Again, especially if you have to purchase it quicker than other types of products that you may have in your collection already, so i will leave all of these products below for you for your reference, and let me know if you've tried any of these before. Will you be trying them? I would love to get a conversation going in the comment section. Thank you so much for watching. I really do appreciate it and of course i will see you all in the next one so take care, and i will see you guys then bye guys,
