You guys it's karen and today i am here to talk about the new deciem hair care. I'Ll briefly talk about this serum as well. We'Ve got a new serum out. I know they had um a serum already out the multi peptide. I think it was called hair density, serum and that seems to be very popular. There was a lot of really good reviews on that, but um. I did write down some notes. It was 15 pound, 80 um and it was to make hair look. Thicker, fuller denser - and there was mixed reviews with that. There were some reviews that it was really great for hair growth and others that their hair looked really thick and full, but others that it made their hair feel damaged and that their hair was falling out. Really mixed reviews, but i never ever looked at it because i have got very thick hair and definitely don't need any help in the department of my hair being thicker looking or denser looking or anything like that, you know. So that's why i didn't ever look at that serum. So the first thing i'm going to talk about is their shampoo. This is the sulfate four percent cleanser for body and hair, so i say shampoo, but it's supposedly a body wash as well. I think the big goal with this shampoo is to kind of debunk the the negative opinions of sulfates um. I know that sulfates don't work for some people in in hair products and that's their personal experience. So i think that it is about you know, uniqueness and what works for you, but i think that sometimes it can an ingredient can get labelled as bad and it's not necessarily bad and i think that's the case with sulfates. It will work absolutely fine for some people and for others not so much. This is a very low sulfate, so it's four percent and it is a milder sulfate. It'S an sles2, i think, but it's a milder sulfate in here anyway, so it should be okay for most hair um. The claim on it is that it will minimize color fade or any irritation that people may have experienced with sulfates in the past, so it may even be worth trying if you found that you did have a problem with sulfates. She had mentioned the price. I'Ll probably put it on screen as well, but this is six pound. 84 240 milliliters they've really got a thing about that: 240. Milliliter measurement - i don't know why, but i know like i'm pretty sure my glycolic acid is the same. The same amount um, so yeah. Six pound 80. So a really good price. This has a very, very low lather, and that is what's going to happen. When you've got you know, low sulfates, so there's not much of a lava. There is a little bit um and i have to say i do like a lava, so if, if there had been none that would have put me off, but i did find there is some lava. This has no fragrance in it, which i think is really really good um. I think i haven't seen a shampoo with no fragrance, and i haven't specifically looked for one - and i probably should have done because my husband has struggled with um dry, sensitive, very irritated scalp for many years. It'S eczema and he's had many different medicated products and none of which have helped. We have finally found stuff that that helps before getting this, but i don't know why i didn't think to look for unscented. I think i maybe looked in the shops and just didn't see much you know, but i think the fact that this doesn't have fragrance in is great for people with sensitive scalps. For me personally, i miss the scent, but it wouldn't be something that would put me off buying it. I don't think because i'm i think it's unlikely i'm ever going to just stick to one shampoo and conditioner, but um. I will use leave-in products that have fragrance in because i rarely use fragrance on my skin and i miss that, but i'm happy to use it on my hair. You know so it, but it has no fragrance in it. What was my experience? Well, i did find that it lathered, like i said um and it was it was more than i was expecting. I used, i would say, an average amount, probably not probably a lot of people would use less than i use, but i like to sort of have product everywhere if you like, but what i do tend to do is i i always do two washes and i Don'T use very much on the first wash and i find that once you've sort of rinsed it the second time you always get a better foam anyway, you know a better lava, and so i would say i used an average amount of it. I wish you could see where it was up to. I think it's probably up to about there and it felt really nice to use it didn't feel like it was tangling, my hair. This is a problem. I'Ve had with some um shampoos that are not moisturizing shampoos, as i've used them and can instantly feel that my hair's getting tangled did not feel like that at all my hair felt very clean. It didn't feel squeaky clean. You may remember i've raved for years about the tresemme, deep cleansing, shampoo, that's one that worked very well for me. I don't use that every shampoo anymore, because it is my hair, now needs more than that. You know with menopause and aging, etc it just it needs more than just a deep cleansing shampoo, but i always used to love the squeaky clean feeling and i like to really you know, get rid of build up and whatnot so that i can put a condition On top of really clean hair, so i didn't get that squeaky clean feeling, but i didn't need it. My my hair felt very, very clean. My scalp for scalp felt clean. It was nice, it was really nice um. Well, so half hair felt clean. Very nice, not squeaky, not tangled yet um. The reviews on this are that it's not great for curly hair, i have to say from everything i've read um and watched curly hair girls don't seem to like the shampoo. I don't know if i'll repurchase this i've only used it once. I only use it yesterday, but i will continue to use them and use all the products and then i will you'll see them in my empties um for sure or if anything weird happens. I'Ll come back and um tell you about it in well: it'll still be an empty it'll, be an empties and fails um. Okay. So that's everything for the shampoo onto the conditioner, which is probably the more important one for me. Um shampoo is not as important. The conditioner is really important to me. Um. I didn't show you what the shampoo looks like, but i don't think there's anything much to see it's just it's just a clear. It'S just a translucent liquid, the conditioner. I think it's very odd looking. Actually, i think it looks a bit like glue. Can you see it? I don't know it had a slight um transparency to it, which i thought was odd and absolutely no fragrance in this one at all. So this one is also six pound. Eighty four 240 ml um. This one is two percent behem trimmonium, pentamonium chloride, yes and two percent behemoth ammonium chloride. It'S a lightweight conditioning formula um. It is designed to be minimalistic with less weigh down than normal conditioner. So there's apparently there's a lot of ingredients missed in this one. It'S a sort of purer type of conditioner so because of that, i wasn't expecting much from it because i do need a rich. Conditioner lightweight would always put me off because i don't need a lightweight conditioner. However, i don't like my hair to feel weighed down. That'S why it's so difficult for me to find a conditioner i like, because i want it to give intense moisture. You know, and hydration and detangling, and but not to feel greasy at all and not to inhibit my blow dry, because if i use products that are too heavy, it takes me forever to dry my hair and it can feel greasy. You know when i first try out products such as these. I like to not use any other products, so i didn't want to use any leave-in products, any leave-in detangler any oils, any volume products. Nothing like that. I would just use the shampoo and the conditioner. I was going to use the serum afterwards, but this is actually for use on dry hair, which i didn't realize at the time. So i just used the shampoo and the conditioner um and i didn't think it would detangle or anything that that was my concern. Like i say i didn't even think it would detangle. If i used these two plus a leave-in, i thought that it wouldn't be rich enough for me. However, as i was using it, i thought yeah it does. It does feel like it's it's okay, because i use a comb to comb. My conditioner, through, as you know, and i thought yeah i can get the comb through fairly easily, so it's definitely giving it some detangling and giving it some. You know i can feel that it's making it softer um rinsed out very well felt that my hair was still conditioned, but but lightweight because again sometimes it can take a long long time to rinse something out and you get the inkling that you know your hair Is going to feel a bit greasy or weighed down? This was very lightweight, very quick to wash out um or to rinse out so then blow dry in my blow, dryer was really quick, which i loved. I love that and it's something that every time i'm testing products like these and i do a blow-dry. I think i don't know why you bother wearing volume, products and leave-in products and whatnot, because the the blow-dry is so quick, that's like if you really want to make your hair dry fast, then use the minimal products possible and it just dried in speed time. You know um, but i can tell pretty quickly when i'm blow drying, if my hair is going to get detangled because it can get detangled as i'm blow-drying it and it wasn't happening when i was doing this, you know i was because i'm a bit sort of Wild with a hairdryer, you know all over the place fling my head upside down, fling it back up again. Um! Well, perhaps not fling it. That would make me dizzy, but you know i'm sort of moving around a lot. I'M moving the hair around and there's a lot of hair to move around and it didn't feel like it was getting tangly at all when it was completely dry um. I put my velcro rollers in just thinking. You know i'll give it a little bit well when it was 90 dry. I put my velcro rollers in to give it a little bit of venus. I hadn't used any volume product and um. When i took him out, i was pleasantly surprised. I thought no, my hair feels it felt very soft. It definitely felt lightweight. You know it felt didn't feel weighed down at all, didn't feel greasy at all um. It felt very soft. It does feel ever so slightly dry. You know if i'm running my fingers through it. What it reminds me of is that video i did for you, where i did one side of my hair with the steam straightener and well one steam straightener on the other side with another, and i remember i could feel what i can feel now. I could feel the difference and at the ends of my hair i feel just like they feel a little bit dry. I'M sure they don't look dry necessarily, but it just feels like ever so slightly, not massively. So i think that when i, if i use these two and then i use a leave-in product as i normally would, i think there would be a good result and i'll certainly come back and talk about that. When i put these into empties - or i might even just do a dedicated entries video on these so yeah for me, i am pleasantly surprised - really pleasantly surprised um at how nice they feel and the result you know. I don't know. I think my hair's still looking pretty healthy. It'S still. It'S got way more volume than i thought it would have. I really thought not using a volume product that my hair would be really really limp. I suppose it's because i put the velcro rollers in, but i didn't expect that to sort of hold you know, because if i just wash and leave my hair to dry as i do sometimes, as you guys know, because then i curl it it's really like. There'S no bounce in it at all and it doesn't look as thick. It looks a lot, thinner and sort of hangs a lot more limp, and i thought that might be the case with this and it's not at all. So i have to say i would recommend trying the conditioner um for sure and the curly girl reviews were better for this. One um curly girls seem to like this conditioner. Okay, so on to the serum - and i don't have an awful lot to say on the serum because i did use it but i'll show you what it's like. It'S really really thin. That'S what it's like and it says to use a few drops. But that's a few drops there once you've rubbed it in your hands. There'S hardly anything on that. How you would actually get that to your scalp and get get anything from it. I don't know anyway, um. Let me tell you about the price etc. So this is 10 pound 90 for 60 mil. The idea of this is to support scalp, i'm going to read it from the website, because that's the best way of doing, i think, with regular use. This formula supports hydration through scalp skin barrier protection. So basically it's a hydrator for the scalp and over time it would um help the skin barrier. So this is another one of those things that i think would be great for my husband to try, but he um, like i said: we've we've currently found um. Some really good products for him that works, so he doesn't have any issues at the moment because i actually asked him last night because i thought well if he does, if his scalp is a tall, itchy or sensitive i'll, ask him to use this and see how He gets on, but he said no, no, it's actually fine. At the moment. I used this later on in the day yesterday, when my hair was dry because it says to use on dry hair and it says, shake well before you use massage a few drops through thoroughly into clean, dry scalp once once daily. Ideally, at bedtime, it's a leave-in treatment do not wash out, so i just found this really difficult to get onto my scalp. I don't know why i just like you could see there. I, if you do that you can put it on your hair, but to get to my scalp like there's so much hair on my scalp. I don't very often see my scalp. I don't know how to get to it other than like. I could put it around. The edges here or i could put it in the parting - i do remember when my i did - have an irritated scalp for a while. You may remember um, and i can't remember the thing i used that made it bitter. I did use something and found it found it um relieved it, but i do still get an itchy scalp. That'S all i get now um. I'Ve never ever had really any problems with my scalp, but recently it's been a little bit itchy, and so i did notice that after i'd washed, my hair, my hair, wasn't itchy, but i can't honestly say whether it is usually itchy after washing it anyway. You know, i don't, i think it's just random times. I get a really itchy scalp. I don't know that it's necessarily after um, shampoo and conditioner, but yesterday i thought well, i don't have an itchy scalp at all, but so i can't really comment too much on it because i don't have a dry scalp. One thing i would say is it doesn't make your hair greasy, so i you know, used quite a few squirts of this and put it on my hair and my hair doesn't feel greasy at all, and i did read somebody who said they'd actually put it through The lengths of their hair and found it good there was even somebody who had used it as a face serum and enjoyed it. I'M not sure about that. I haven't looked at the ingredients in that closely, um that closely um. What was it going to tell you about this? There'S really good reviews on this really good reviews. So i think if you do have that issue of a dry, itchy scalp, this is something that may be worth trying. Okay, that's everything for the new ordinary hair care. I hope that you enjoyed that. I hope you found that useful and let us know, of course, in the comments below. If you have tried any of these, i asked on instagram and somebody was saying that they loved this serum um and i actually replied and said to him. What does it do for you? Let me read you the comments. Actually so josh said this serum, the serum is really really good and i asked him: what does the serum do for you and he said i didn't get that dry, scalp feeling and i used it with the scalp peptide serum too. Somebody else said: i've tied the shampoo and conditioner and found the conditioner to be amazing, shampoo, not in love with needed, to use loads to feel clean, um and for six pound 80, not economical. I i suppose you you may have to use a little bit more because to feel clean to some people is the kind of foaming you know um. I think that's just something we're all sort of programmed to feel. Isn'T it but she then says great not to have any smell, so perfume friendly. So, like i said, i think that's a really good thing: um yeah, that's everything. So let us know what you think. Let me tell you what i've got on makeup wise. I am wearing the kat von d, true portrait foundation, which no longer exists um. Well, there might be some you can get somewhere i'll list it just in case on my eyes, is the too faced perfect nudes palette on my cheeks? Is the flower beauty blush in wild rose and this lipstick is the stila liquid lipstick in patina shimmer? I know i'd remember today, because i love that i really really love this lipstick, so yeah, that's everything. Thank you. So much for watching and i'll see you again soon.

Marianne: I've used all of these twice. Liked the shampoo better the second time! First time it felt like having used a clarifying shampoo, which isn't bad, but not what I expected. The conditioner was an immediate like though! I put the serum on wet scalp, and lived to tell the tale I have wavy hair and a lot of it.

jujubunnybea: Your hair looks GREAT ... soooo shiny Can't wait to hear how adding a leave-in effects the results... I'm starting from dry ends so I'm leery to try these but very curious about them Thank You for the review... have a WONDERFUL week

AKB: Was going to go to Ulta today to pick these up & then saw your review. I'm interested to see how it goes. Have a good day, Karen!

Misty Swiney: Your right, sulfates are great in my opinion as they are great at deep cleansing the scalp to prevent product buildup and get rid of it.

Daniel Asher Saville: Your hair is just looking so stunning . It’s got more shine than I’ve ever seen before . Your hair colour looks sparkling too :)

Jenny Bolter: thanks Karen i'll pass on the shampoo sls price, and conditioner price, serum sounds good though, Jo Jones was advised when using scalp products to push the pipette side to side on the scalp releasing the serum but not to massage as the serum then lays on the scalp and not get massaged into the hair it works after a fashion :)

Emer Henry: Good to hear your opinions on it. Watched manes by mel do a review and she wasn't impressed with the shampoo at all. I'm using the hair peptides and it gives the look of more hair while using but until my thyroid issues are sorted out nothings gonna stop my hair from falling out at a ferocious rate (about 85% hair loss at the moment after 7 years of begging to be tested and getting refusal after refusal even after changing docs.) So I've kinda given the peptides a rest until that gets sorted. I never really stick to one shampoo or conditioner either. I think I'll be passing on this line for now. Might try the conditioner in the future though as it has piqued my interest. You're looking really good today by the way.

Loraine Mcgillivray: Hi Karen I have a very dry/eczema prone scalp and dry/course/curly hair. The original peptide serum I do use fairly regularly - not for hair growth, but because it's moisturising on the scalp without being greasy. I am going to try the new scalp serum, as it's cheaper and may do the same thing for me. The shampoo and conditioner are not really for me. I need maximum moisture from both my shampoo and conditioner, so normally use products full of oils and butters. I need that tamed/weighed down feeling from my conditioner (most people would feel it was a bit greasy). My scalp prefers sulphate free shampoo and that particular innovation a few years ago, really helped the severe dryness I experience on the scalp. I will use a sulphate for the purpose of clarifying every few weeks, but really need a deep conditioner afterwards. I also use both a leave in conditioner and a curl cream for even more "taming". I apply serums or oils between washes, but my hair is really dry (menopausal and my whole body is like the Sahara). I do search out fragrance free or no added fragrance (in shampoos particularly), as my scalp (just like my skin) doesn't really tolerate fragrance (rosacea and eczema). Boots does a fragrance free/sulphate free shampoo in their expert line, but my preferred option is the jessiecurl no added fragrance shampoo and conditioner. I will use some fragrance in my styling products, but they're not really on my scalp and that's how I manage with that. I have to keep my wet hair off my skin when using fragranced styling products though, until they've dried in completely. My skin is really finnicky and I also use fragrance free laundry detergent etc. Best wishes.

eimearinez: For scalp drops I normally drop it straight on to the patches where my scalp is acting up and rub it in I don’t use it all over my scalp maybe your meant to but I use rub in the bad patches!

Marleen G.: That's a lot for a conditioner. I last bought 56 bottles of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration (my holy grail) for about €cts90 a bottle. Steal. They were doing away with it, and it is my favorite one out there, and they are 200ml bottles, and I have hair that's over my booty (classic length), hair that is wavy/curly. I have plenty of excuses, but hey, I'll use it up anyway!

Tracy: I use the serum. For a year or more. I think it stopped my hair fall but I changed some other things at the time so I can’t swear on it. I look at the ingredients of the serum and there isn’t anything there that can make hair fall out. I have to be honest. I don’t trust peoples claims all the time. Many things can make your hair fall. This shampoo and conditioner isn’t for dry wavy or curly hair in my opinion.

Anthony Wilkinson: Your hair looks really healthly, glossy and really healthly looking

Rosie Foster: Hi Karen, my son who is 18 also suffers with his scalp, can i ask what you found for Kevin that works? xx

Jan Worthy: Hi, Simple do a shampoo that is not scented, you can buy it at most chemists and supermarkets sell it as well. Hope this helps, please take care and stay safe.

Angela Jane Lomax: Thanks Karen ichy scalp no idea why, just months ago started. XxX

Mark Sims: What are the products that are working for your husband? I’ve had a problematic scalp for about 20 years and have yet to found anything that helps

Jess Palmer: Do you mind telling us which haircare your husband has found successful please? My search continues….x

Little Voice: Function of beauty have fragrance free

cherry blossom: The ordinary hair density serum causes impotence! I was shocked when I read that think it was on the box maybe I read it on their website not sure. I bought it for my son and realised after he nearly used the whole bottle. Shocking.
