Let'S review redken's best seller, extreme shampoo and a conditioner if you're new to my channel and if you're not welcome back, i'm mike i'm, who i'm a hairdresser, a l'oreal, color specialist, a makeup fan and a skincare lover in today's film we shall be reviewing trying out And talking about about the best-selling product from redken, which is the extreme hair care range for damaged hair? So if you want to find out more about this product, what it does, what it does to your hair, whether it's good or it's a hypo dirt, then you better keep on watching. What is the story? Everyone in today's film we are really talking about classic, which is extreme by redken, and the extreme family by redken can vary, so you have extreme from bleached hair extreme for this extreme from that. But today we are just talking about extreme, far damaged hair. We are going to be reviewing two products shampoo and a conditioner for damaged hair. We'Re gon na try it out on my beautiful undamaged hair, which literally makes no sense. But let's see what it actually does, because i remember when we used to use red and donkey donkeys years ago, when my salon did carry wet candle salmon back in galway, we had wetkin extreme was like the best. Do you know what a kind of way - and i mean anti-snap - is everything, so you guys, let me present you with product number, one extreme shampoo by redken. This shampoo is for damaged hair and it's gon na help to reduce breakage and split ends in your hair. This shampoo is going to cleanse, strengthen and restore shine in your damaged hair in this product. We do get 300 ml of products, which is quite a lot in this product we just for 20 and 45 cents and like that this is a protein-based shampoo, because, as we all know, if our hair is damaged and damaged, hair is sensitized here. That means the damage is done internally, not externally. We do have citric acids, we do have amino acids and we have protein, and this shampoo is also ph balanced, meaning it's going to bring back our hair to its natural ph, which is 4.5 and 5.5 because, as we all know, is our if our hair is Sensitized or damaged something alkaline has to be used on it like chemicals, so the ph has gone up, so we need to bring the ph down to seal the hair and strengthen it. So i mean this shampoo would be brilliant, for anyone with damaged hair internally, damaged hair so would be damaged due to color, whether it's over bleaching over highlighting or over coloring. So you guys, what am i gon na do? Is i'm gon na open this up and we're gon na try this, and this is actually a conditioner you guys and that's what i'm talking when it comes to redken's new packaging? It confuses me, so this is actually the shampoo. I was on the open and i was like right, so we do not have um. Let'S make this clear. We do not have four percent of protein plus strength complex. We have three percent part in me. I did confuse it now. If you look the side by side by the two of them, it's very very easy to confuse them, so the conditioner has white and shampoo has dark my bad. So this is the shampoo. Let'S open this up and another thing: that's what red can change the packaging slightly, so we do not get confused. I'M going to pour that on my hand, we're going to smell it and we're going to check it out so like that we do have the classic extreme smell by redken and it's never forgetful and it smells absolutely beautiful and it's bringing me back years ago. So i'm going to try it out on my channel today and i did use this shampoo when my hair was bleached he donkey's donkeys years ago, but before we gon na do that, let's move on to the next product extreme conditioner by redken. So you guys you've seen this, but already because i did confuse them and like that in this conditioner we do have also protein and four percent of strength, complex, which is amino acid and lactic, and citric acid and protein, and this conditioner is also ph balanced and So is the shampoo in this conditioner we also get 300 ml of product and this conditioner retails for 22 and 45 cents. This is a hair, strengthening conditioner for damaged hair. It will leave the hair healthy and resilient, and it will also treat the hair at the root at the tip and add decor. So this conditioner is very powerful. It'S going to treat the hair everywhere from the root to the tip to the core to the inside. To everything it will detangle, it will smoothen and strengthen or damaged hair. This conditioner will also help to fortify nourish, strengthen and condition our hair, leaving it shiny and softly. So i mean it's doing everything for me. So basically those go hand in hand. So if you have really sensitized damaged hair due to bleaching over color and your hair elasticity is just gone extreme by redken is for you. So, let's open the conditioner now and like that, let me say this again: the shampoo has three percent of the strength complex when this has four. So this is a lot more concentrated, so i'm just gon na pop that, on my hand, boom boom boom. Let'S pop that here and close that over, let's smell it and like that, it's that beautiful it's very hard to distinguish that smell, but i love the smell of redken. It'S just bringing me back back when i live in garlic, so yeah the conditioner is quite heavy. So you guys what i'm going to do is i'm going to go off camera i'm going to shampoo my hair using the extreme redken shampoo and the conditioner, and hopefully i will not mistaken them in the bath like i did before, and then we're going to come Back we're going to see the results and i'm going to give you my final thoughts about xtreme by red right. You guys - and i am back after shampoo and my hair, using redken's extreme shampoo and the conditioner, and i must say i did not confuse them in the shower, because i was well aware which ones which now, what can i tell you the scent is beautiful. It'S bringing me back like i said, and it's a nice nice formula, it's nice and creamy, but it's not heavy, and why is that? Because it is protein. Protein is threatened, so my hair should feel a lot more resilient and stronger, but does not feel way down. So the elasticity of your hair should be improved and it will stop breakage and everything. So i wouldn't worry about this product weighing your hair down, because it is protein, so it is strengthened, but when it comes to protein and products with protein, once your hair is repaired, stop using protein, because you can also overload protein on your hair, which is not Good for your hair, because the hair will become too strong and it will start breaking because if we don't need the hair to be any stronger, the hair will become stiff. Does that kind of make sense? That'S the best way to explain it so the minute your hair is fine and it is repaired. Put that range away and move over to something else or with better moisture. It says conditioner on that right, i don't know. If you can see it right, can you see it now? It does this conditioner and then it says shampooing underneath it, so it can be mistaken very, very easily and on this one is just says, shampoo shampooing. So when it comes to the two of them, i think you could understand where i got confused between those two, those two products, so i mean that would be probably the only thing i would change about this, but i mean overall, if you have really sensitized damaged Hair and you're looking for something that is protein-based, that's going to strengthen up your hair and help to fortify and reduce breakage.
