Hey guys it's that time of year, and we all know that winter weather can be very harsh and drying on our hair and skin, and look at my hair. It has like dust balls and it's dry and matted. So what am I going to do? I am going to whip up a super, easy deep conditioner and I decided to do this one after I thought about my hot oil treatment. I did a while back with olive oil and honey, and the great thing about this is that you don't have to go. Buy a deep conditioner because you're going to use your own conditioner, your favorite one, make sure it's affordable and has lots of slip, also you're going to need extra virgin olive oil because it penetrates the hair. It'S also which allows it to moisturize your hair and treat dandruff as well, and also coconut oil penetrates the hair. You guys know I love coconut oil, which allows it to moisturize it and strengthens your hair, also you're, going to need honey, which is a humectant and it attracts moisture which again is great for your hair during this time of year, and it also softens your hair. So you're going to need about half a cup of olive oil, half a cup of coconut oil and like a spoonful of honey, you can switch these up based on your liking. That'S just about how much I use you may want more oil or less oil and you're just going to put it in your pot on a low heat and just let the ingredients warm up and melt. And then, once you have done that you are going to add them to your conditioner, I used about a cup of conditioner and again add the oils and honey to your conditioner and all you're going to do is just mix it until it's nice and fluffy. Okay. So now I'm going to shampoo and condition this hit, and this is my hair straight out of the shower my naked texture. You can look at the shrinkage. Yes, that's what my hair looks like, but now I'm going to saturate my hair with this deep conditioner and I am really going to work it through. I'Ve really cut clip short, but I'm going to work it through until you can start to see my curl pattern. My kinky curly curl pattern and I'm just going to make sure I get it on all of my strands and once I'm done working through a section, I will twist that section up. So my hair is nice and finger detangle, and once I have all of my hair twisted, I'm just going to add more of the deep conditioner. Then I'm going to add two actually two shower caps conditioning caps plastic cast whatever you want to call them. So I left it in for about thirty minutes and you can also sit under the dryer, but I didn't say I'm dry. I just did some stuff around the house and look at my hair. Oh my gosh she's, so juicy juicy and moisturized. Oh my gosh. She just feels so good, so then I just retched around and rinse it off. So there's my rinsed hair right there and again you can look at the shine, it's so moisturized. This is straight out of the shower and I can run my fingers through my hair because it's nice and detangled, but yes, this is an affordable, super, easy, do-it-yourself, deep conditioner and I'm about to show you something I really wanted you to see. So this is my hair the week after doing this deep conditioning treatment, this is actually the same day. I'M editing this video Saturday morning. You get my Kristi face and all, but this is my hair and I only ended up using water and oil to do my twist out because I didn't have enough time Sunday night to finish: go back over with a heavy buttercream. So the deep conditioner really helped keep my hair help moisturize my hair, and I really only use oil and water except for the tendrils on the sides. I use gel to define those, but there was my hair after a week. This deep conditioner is great and also be sure to check out my last Duty yourself, which was a detangling, leave-in conditioner hope you guys enjoyed this video and thanks for watching

Yvonne Hubbard: This conditioner is everything. Thank you for sharing. My hair is so soft, detangled and moisturized.

Alisha Simms: I make a very similar deep conditioner, but I add Vitamin E and avocado oils to my mix, and occasionally peppermint essential oil; when doing a protein deep conditioner, I add hydrolyzed wheat protein. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing.

Carib Spice: Am I the only one who thought that the whipped up recipe was really something edible?! Lol... It looked so delicious but yes, I can see how this would be very effective for locking in moisture. I use each of the products mentioned but never thought about adding to my conditioner. I will surely try this. Thanks so much for sharing this :)

DaSh Divinity: I've been using this for about a month and a half and my hair has been soft from doing it!!!! I reused my old conditioner bottle to fill it with this deep conditioner recipe and two smaller bottles. This really works !!! I usually let it sit in my hair for an hour or longer

It’s Stephanie: Yesss! I've been using this same mixture for a while and it works so much better for my hair than store bought deep conditioners

Beth K.A: This treatment was really good! Left my hair feeling nourished, soft and moisturised! No dryness! Woohoo!

kay jay: This is perfect! My hair has been craving moisture and I just happen to have all of these ingredients! Going to give it a try tomorrow!

Alison Page: I mixed the raw honey, evoo, and coconut oil, with tgin's repair mask and had phenomenal results on my super dry hair. Thanks for the video.

YeaISubscribed: This is really helpful and a perfect way to treat my hair next winter!!

kirvyk: Girl honey thank you for doing this video! I just made this and the results are gorgeous! My hair feels like butter, soft as cotton...I've never had results like that. I pre pooed with ACV which aided in detangling and Lord this will forever be a staple. No need to use a comb for detangling.....THANK YOU ;-)

ymb6987: Juicy is absolutely correct India!  Your hair went from winter beaten to spring ready!  I love Tresemme for its slip but I'm certainly going to add those other ingredients that are sitting in my cabinet right now!!!  Great tips always India!!

Blackdiamond: Thanks for saving me a buck or 2 and my hair ! Girl this looks amazing !!! Love love love!

Dudegrowing NapsBlog: Thanks for sharing India. I have the same base when i did my conditioner based deep conditioner : conditioner + oils + honey. and sometimes i add ingredients such as inulin, panthenol, rice protein, silk amino acid, depending on my hair specific needs. Shea butter is great to incorporate too espacially in the cold months

Shirley Roberts: Heating the oils loses a lot of the properties it's best to work with raw natural oils coconut oil melts very easily and doesn't need heating just stir it a little longer if that helps anyone!!

Cheryl Singleton: I always love your style and your tips. But I'm all about cash and carry. Shea Moisture did that for me. I deep conditioned with the Shea Moisture manuka honey and mufura oil hair masque. It feels like icing, and smells so good. Covered my hair with a cap for 30 minutes, and that's all it took. The moisture in my hair is amazing. This conditioner is everything. My curls were poping straight out of the shower. After trying this DIY if you haven't tried this Shea Moisture masque I recommend everyone try this one.

tatyy.19: Thank you so much for this !!! I have really dry hair and it seemed like there wasnt anything that would make my hair feel 100% moisturized and this recipe worked !! I just substituted the EVOO for JBCO ! Thanks again❤️

Shalom M: My ratings of this recipe= 10 out of 10! I have 4c hair and recently neglected my hair (laziness), in the sense that I haven't washed it in a month (it became a super dry, knotted, afro and...yeah....lol....I predicted hard times ahead). I knew resurrecting my hair using the same prep/wash routine wouldn't be enough...so this video came into my recommendations at the perfect time! Let me tell y'all....this recipe was...*chef's kiss*...very...and I mean VERY helpful. After I came out the shower having just rinsed it out, I felt a sense of lusciousness in my strands I haven't felt...ever. Also today marked 5 days since I did my twist-out and had it wrapped in a headscarf ( took out my twists a couple of hours ago and was given fluffy/hydrated hair ). Nonetheless, I just wanted to say thank you for this recipe! *Note: I needed to leave the oil and conditioner to cool in the fridge before whipping it back into a usable conditioner-like texture (the heated oil seemed to make it difficult to whip with the conditioner...it was kind of separating).

Danielle Nicolle: I'm definitly going to try this! Love It.

Yalon Mishaél: Loved it, your hair looks great

sharon dixon: That works really good! Your hair looks beautiful.

Esté Ginelle: Very helpful. I definitely think I can do this.

Rosie Valdez: THIS is what I was looking for! Thanks!

Dixie Darlins: Cannot wait to do this! It looks like it is really great your hair was so silky at the end.

Melissa Oliveira: Can you use avocado oil instead of olive oil?

Rebecca Sanon: Can you use leave in conditioner for the conditioner?

laudixom: Looks easy so I'm gonna try it tonight!

Brandi Rodgers: Can you have mango butter instead of a store brought conditioner?

eduarda andreis: GUYS !!!! Try adding 1-2 bananas to this mixture It makes it sooooo much better ( but this recipe is very good as well ) But the more moisture the better

Keisha Hicks: Girl I'm going to try this next time I deep condition! ;

Venus G.: Thanks for sharing the DIY conditioner! I'll give it a try! ;-)

Coffy's Kitchen: I'm going to try this today thank you!

Lily Ross: I tried this and added banana, it works so nice! My hair is so nice and soft!

Svetlana Davis: Duuuuuddeee this conditioner made my hair into eVVerrythingGG. My hair has been through 4 bleach sessions back to back, and this definitely helped the damage. Thank youuu

Oluchi E.: i really love how you get in depth with the the products you are using

Thatblondekid: Can I use organic honey or does is have to be “raw organic honey” ?

Mocha Berry: I kinda use the same ingredients for my diy deep conditioner but instead of regular conditioner I use a ripe avocado. I think I may try this out to see if there is a difference.

Tinahgirl83: Thanks so much!!! I will be trying this this weekend.

Emelle LJ: How long do you keep the deep conditioner on your hair? Do you wash with shampoo or co-wash after ?

Jen Monroe: so after you're done with all of this do you blow dry right away? i would love to know

Prisca D.: Very helpful :)

Fluff McGee: I was out of honey so I used agave nectar, and mostly eyeballed all of my measurements. My oils were pretty warm right off the stove, and I put them in a jar with the conditioner and shook it instead of whipping--still pretty fluffy and felt great going on warm. My hair thoroughly enjoyed it as I put it on, I can tell--I can't wait to see how it looks when I rinse it out! Hopefully this brings me a step closer to finding something to make my tangly hair manageable.

Gauri Ratnaparkhe: this is so goooooddd :)) my hair looks healthy curly

TheLovelyShally: Love it ! Thank you

Queen Toshe: If you dont use it all would you need to keep in the refrigerator or just store it in a airtight jar under the cabinet?

Tatianna Rdz: What can I substitute the olive oil for

Chelsea Beckworth: How beautiful is your natural hair!!!!!! Love!

Eva Chuc: I owe my 3b curls to you my heart is always heat damage at the top layer of my hair even after I wash my hair now it curls after 1 wash with a cheap 8 dollar conditioner that’s really common it has no slip but when I put the ingredients in it was so good the conitoner was soft and sassy kids from aunt Jackie this looked like never before thank you love y’all need to try this

Sade McFarlane: I made this as soon as I saw it cuz I was getting ready to wash my hair. So I put olive oil and honey in a bowl and mixed it and it was really lumpy so I put in my conditioner and mixed it really good it came out like pudding and u don't even have to warm up the products I did not use coconut oil cuz my conditioner had it already and I don't have any.

mirielle mabi: hi . can you use it on relaxed dry damaged hair?
