Wakati Water-Activated Conditioner Product Review [New Hair Care Line!] | Mila B

New Haircare Line called Wakati! What is Wakati you may ask, well Wakati means time in Swahili which is a representation of where your hair use to be and where it is going. It is making a statement to connect past ancestry with the current black culture! I absolutely love this idea and I find it super inspirational given where my hair use to be and where I want it to go.

Let me tell you more! This conditioner is thick when it comes out but I would prefer it to be thicker. It smells good and it is not over powering which is something I love! Being that this product is water activated, it made it easier to distribute through out my hair when detangling. Because water is the activator, it gets thin when applying it in my hair. I do not care so much for this feature because in my head, I have to use a ton of product to make sure my hair is fully coated. Aside from that, I think this product is amazing! After deep conditioning, my hair was moisturized, curls were bouncy and it was smelling good!

I can't wait to see what this line is going to come out with next! I am hoping they come out with a leave in conditioner that will be SUPER thick or even a shampoo! I am in love with this brand and will continue to use this conditioner! Follow them on instagram and visit their website!

What'S up guys welcome back to my channel, it is your girl, Mila B today I am talking all things conditioner. I am talking about a new product, wha-ha t. I will set this product to try test and review for you guys, and I am so excited because this is a new haircare line. I love the packaging, as you can see. It'S all about the naturals, the natural girls out there, the curly girls, okay and this product right here is a water activated conditioner. At the moment, it is the only product that they have and I'm going to tell you my thoughts about it. So that further ado, let's go ahead and get into it now okati means time in Swahili and basically that as a representation of where your hair has been in the past and where it is going and with me being a natural girl, I've been natural since 2011. Absolutely love this concept, because thinking about what all my hair has been through in the past only up to now and the future that I see for my hair, I absolutely love that concept and I think it's brilliant and I'm happy that they decided to name their Brand after something so inspirational, so this product, this conditioner, this conditioner is water activated. So when you first put it on your hands, it smells good. This smell is very subtle, so it's not very strong, which is something I love because me personally, I hate strong scents in my hair. I want my hair just melt good, but I don't want it to be overpowering and when you put the product in your hand, it comes out really thick and y'all know your girl loves a thick product. This product isn't as thick as I would like it to be, but it is thick and my hair holds a lot of water, a lot of water. So when I'm putting the product throughout my hair, when I'm brushing it or combing it through or even finger detangling it, the product is easily distributed through my hair, because the water is activating it and it also gets thin throughout the process of detangling or combing. Your hair, so that is one thing that I did not like, is because my hair holds so much water and it did get so thin on me quickly. I had to constantly use a lot of product, or at least in my head. I thought I needed a lot of product to make sure it got all over and through my hair I put my hot head on and I left the conditioner in my hair for 30 minutes. I know it says on the bottle. 5 but more time isn't gon na hurt right and afterwards my hair was soft. It was really really just curls were springing back. Okay like it just my hair was amazing and absolutely love this product, and I will continue to use this conditioner. I can't wait for them to either add a shampoo to the line or a leave-in. I really would love a leave-in and if it is oh and if they do make a leave-in, I would love for it to be. Super super super thick because the conditioner itself is amazing, so I can only imagine what the the for coming future looks like for this brand and for these products so yeah that is okatee, absolutely love.
